Abstract

Ulama have a different opinion about the ru’yatullah verses. Mufassir Mu’tazilah argues that it is imposible that Allah can be seen. While the majority of Sunni mufassir states that Allah can be seen. Mufassir from the follower of Mu’tazilites is Al-Zamakhsyari, while interpreter from the follower of Sunni are al-Razi. The problem is the back ground that encourages differences in interpretation between al-Zamakhsyari and al-Razi in the interpretation of ru’yatullah verses. The background that encourages differences interpretation between al-Zamaksyari and al-Razi is life journey of both. In terms of life al-Zamakhsyari was raised in the Mu’tazilah environment, while al-Razi lived in the conflict of Sunni and Mu’tazilah especially in ideology. Then in the education background, al-Zamakhsyari studied on ulama Mu’tazilalite, ulama with mazhab of Hanafi and linguist. While al-Razi studied to his father as fiqh expert and as ulama with madzhab al-Asy’ari and also studied to ulama al-Asy’ari aqeedah and also studied a lot of muslim philosophical. al-Zamkhsyari opinion about ru’ya tullah is that ru’yatullah cannot happen anytime, anywhere and by anyone. While al-Razi believes ru’yatullah can happen later in the hereafter. However, because of the weakness of potensial vision than God cannot be seen.

Abstract

In contrast to the previous centuries of the XX century, the century of young people with the spirit of coming out of stagnant thinking has indirectly stimulated the attention of scholars in studying interpretations and compiling works of interpretation with various methods, patterns and styles. Tafsir al-Azhar is one of the largest interpretations compiled by Hamka, Hajj Muhammad Karim Amrullah. This article attempts to critically examine whether there is an influence of time and place in the preparation of the Tafsir al-Azhar. For this reason, historical methods and critical analysis will be used to show the figure of Hamka and his interaction with the socio-culture of the Minang people in particular and Indonesia in general. At the same time, it is used to analyze the Tafsir al-Azhar with regard to the influence of the time and place in the work. The result is that Hamka in explaining the verses of the Qur'an sometimes takes wisdom from the customs of a society that signify the place and explain also from the period of development of political turmoil after Indonesian independence and the renewal of the thoughts of Islamic figures that signify time, furthermore,the place and time have exerted influence in compiling the Indonesian interpretation work "Tafsir al-Azhar."

Abstract

Stephen Hawking’s theory “M” posits that the universe was formed without the assistance of God. This paper elaborates the qur’anic position on Hawking’s idea by analyzing the qur’anic scientific interpretation of universe creation. Therefore, the literature review was utilized to collect as much data as feasible, which was then evaluated using the descriptive-analytical method. The findings of this study indicate that Stephen Hawking’s “M” hypothesis has three faults, which constitute a scientific critique of the interpretation of Qur’anic texts relating to the earth and sky. The three faults are: 1) Earth and sky were not created without God’s intervention, as Hawking claimed, but by the will and strength of Allah. This finding is stated in the interpretation of Surah Al-Anbiya’ verse 30, Al-Fushshilat verse 10, and Al-A’raf verse 54. 2) Hawking’s concept of creation is inappropriate since it is based on the rationalism of liberal thought. The natural creation process described in the Qur’an, scientifically proved by science, differs from Hawking’s claim. 3) Hawking’s idea of a mechanism for creating the heavens and the earth is not suitable with the scientific facts regarding them stated in the Qur’an’s scientific interpretation

Abstract

l Al-Qur’a>n adalah salah satu kajian dalam bidang Ulu>m AlQur’a>n yang sangat penting untuk dikaji, selian itu juga Amtsal Al-Qur’an merupakan visualisasi abstrak yang dituangkan dalam berbagai ragam kalimat dengan cara menganalogikan sesuatu dengan hal yang serupa dan sebanding, maka untuk dapat memahami secara baik dan benar memerlukan pemikiran yang cermat dan mendalam untuk memahami maksud dari Amtsa>l tersebut. Di dalam Al-Qur’an Allah membuat perumpamaan yang bermacam-macam, ada perumpamaan ditujukan untuk orang beriman dan juga ada yang ditujukan untuk orang kafir, disini peneliti memfokuskan kajian terhadap perumpamaan yang ditujukan untuk orang munafiq, beberapa bentuk perumpamaan yang ditujukan kepada orang munafik memberikan pertanyaan-pertanyaan, seperti contoh orang munafik di perumpamakan seperti membawa api di dalam kegelapan, di ayat lain diperumpamakan seperti kayu yang bersandar. Apa maksud dari perumpamaan yang diberikan untuk orang munafik tersebut? Bukankah Amtsa>l al- Qur’a>n memberikan kalimat-kalimat yang dipahami oleh logika?, Dari sini peneliti ingin menguraikan pandangan Ibnu Qayyim Al-Jauziyyah tentang perumpamaan munafiq dalam Al- Qur’a>n dalam Tafsirnya Bada>’I At-Tafsi>r, karena dalam tafsirnya, Ibnu Qayyim menggunakan corak bahasa dalam menjelaskan perumpamaan munafik secara jelas. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode analisis teks dan deskriptif-analisis untuk menelaah rujukan utama Tafsi>r Bada>’I At-Tafsi>r dalam al-Qur'an yang berkenaan dengan masalah di atas. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa Ibnu Qayyim dalam menjelaskan setiap perumpamaan orang munafik dengan dijelaskan bagaimana keadaan orang munafik pada saat itu dengan susunan bahasa yang kuat sehingga menjadi tafsiran yang sangat mudah untuk dimengerti.

Abstract

  The problem in the learning process is that it is difficult to understand and memorize lessons, this is due to reduced concentration so as to slow down the comprehension and make memory decrease, to overcome this problem there is a practice carried out in Madrasah Aliyah Ash-Syafi'iyyah Sidoarjo, namely routinely reading the Qur'an surah al-Mulk before starting the learning process. Surah al-Mulk itself is believed to have content related to learning, such as seeking knowledge, forming attitudes and behaviors, and instilling skills. To know the application of Living Qur'an. Researchers want to analyze how the practice of reading surah al-Mulk in Madrasah Aliyah Ash-Syafi'iyyah Sidoarjo and what is the impact of reading surah al-Mulk in Madrasah Aliyah Ash-Syafi'iyyah Sidoarjo. This research is a field research using descriptive methods and qualitative approaches, which aims to make descriptions, drawings or paintings systematically. By taking data from school principals, teachers, and also students. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation techniques. Based on the analysis, the researcher concluded that; The activity of recitation of surah al-Mulk is practiced together and followed by all students every day before starting the lesson with the aim of expecting blessings and intercession from surah al-Mulk itself. This activity has an impact that students feel more relaxed and calm before starting learning and make them more focused, easy to understand and memorize lessons

Abstract

Istilah (al-najm) adalah sebagai benda langit yang memiliki cahaya yang terihat dimalam hari dan terbentuk dari gas dan hidrogen. Bintang dalam Al-Qur’an disebutkan 13 kali. Penafsiran bintang menurut Tantawi Jawhari addalah digambarkan sebagai hiasan di langit yang dapat memberikan keindahan dengan cahayanya, bentuk dan tempatnya. Tantawi Jawhari menjelaskan di dalam tafsirnya tidak hanya membahas tentang bintang tetapi juga ada kaitannya dalam ilmu Astrolog, Astronomi maupun Fisika. Maka dari itu, peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif-analisis untuk membahas tentang penelitian tersebut. Dari hasil penelitian itu beberapa benda langit telah disebutkan dalam Al-Qur’an khususnya tentang bintang kemudian beberapa metode untuk mengetahui letak bintang atau Ilmu Astronomi dalam penafsiran ilmiah Tantawi Jawhari bahwa Celestial Sphere (Bola Langit) atau Sky Map (Peta Langit) merupakan sebuah benda berbentuk bola maupun sebuah peta untuk mengetahui letak titik koordinat bintang. Sedangkan, manfaat bintang adalah sebagai petunjuk arah (navigasi) di daratan atau lautan, hiasan langit dan sebagai pemandangan yang indah di malam hari, alat pelempar setan dengan menggunakan masabih dan al-sahb, alat sumpah Allah Swt. atas posisi bintang dengan sifat-sifatnya seperti al-tariq, al-kunnas dan al-thaqib.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (CSP) aims to assist in preparing an integrative daily schedule for santri students at UNIDA Gontor. In terms of methods, this CSP uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, which includes; stages of identification, planning, and preparation of program design, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. This CSP results in forming a design schedule for daily student activities that integrate Islamic boarding schools, Islamization, and language programs. In conclusion, the CSP carried out has succeeded in fulfilling the stated goals and achievements, namely the design of an integrative daily activity schedule for UNIDA Gontor santri students; as an effort to improve student non-academic achievements. This aligns with the vision that UNIDA Gontor wants to achieve, namely a university with a boarding school system, Islamization of knowledge, and mastery of the language of the Qur'an. However, this CSP also has limitations. The results in a design schedule for daily student activities are still in the form of a draft proposal that has yet to become a policy, so follow-up is needed at the future CSP.

Abstract

The order of the verses and their coherence has been debated among orientalists in qur’anic structure studies. This article aims to reveal the coherence of the surah Adz-Dzariyat questioned by Richard Bell regarding the correlation between the verses in the surah. The method of analyzing this surah is Semitic Rhetorical Analysis (SRA), utilizing the verses’ symmetry explanations from Muslim scholars’ interpretations. This library research adopts descriptive and content analysis methods for analyzing data. As a result of the study, Surah adz-Dzariyat consists of two passages and seven parts in mirror construction based on Semitic Rhetoric principles. The relationship between the verses shows their coherence and excellent verse order without jumpy arrangements. Several groups of verses that at first appeared to be irregular became orderly and had a specific connection that could be understood through Semitic Rhetoric principles. This analysis strengthens the miracles of the Qur’an and refutes various opinions that doubt how good the order of the verses of the Qur’an is.

Abstract

The narrative around the prophet Yusuf is widely regarded as the preeminent story due to its wealth of life teachings, including those pertinent to politics. It is noteworthy that an apostle who ascends to a position of authority in a powerful nation does so from a subordinate position rife with restrictions and capable of involvement in political affairs with the nubuwah attributes associated with such a post. In the range of non-ideal politics today, it is imperative to delve into the prophet Yusuf's political dimensions to provide a valuable resource for political scholars and professionals. The life narrative of the prophet Yusuf and the social dimensions that encompass it are inseparable; thus, this investigation will encompass, to the necessary extent, a variety of disciplines, including tafseer, law, social sciences, psychology, history, economics, management, epistemology, and political philosophy, which is the most prominent. Consequently, the objective of this paper is to expound upon the prophet Yusuf's political theory as elucidated in Surat Yusuf via the lens of multiple academic disciplines. This research is a literature review in which qualitative content analysis is utilized to analyze the data. The results of this study are: Initially, the prophet Yusuf's political career encountered obstacles at the level of family, community, and the center of state. Secondly, the prophet Yusuf's integrity and dedication to the truth, as well as his political acumen, knowledge, and wisdom (God). Furthermore, the stability of a nation is ensured by economic resilience and legal fairness.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Al-Quran di Taman Pendidikan Al-Quran (TPA) merupakan aspek penting dalam pendidikan agama Islam yang bertujuan untuk memperkuat iman dan memperdalam pemahaman ajaran Islam. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan, seperti metode Qiro’ati, memerlukan pendampingan yang efektif untuk memastikan kesuksesannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di TPA Al Amin Desa Brahu Kecamatan Siman Kabupaten Ponorogo dengan tujuan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Al-Quran melalui pendampingan dengan metode Qiro’ati. Langkah-langkah pengabdian masyarakat meliputi penilaian awal, perencanaan program, pengembangan materi, pelaksanaan program, pemantauan dan evaluasi, pemantapan dan diseminasi, serta monitoring dan tindak lanjut. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan santri atau peserta didik dalam membaca Al-Quran, motivasi belajar, dan partisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pendampingan dalam pembelajaran Al-Quran di TPA serta peran guru TPA dalam menyelenggarakan program pendampingan. Selain itu, pengembangan materi, evaluasi, dan diseminasi hasil merupakan faktor kunci keberhasilan program. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran Al-Quran yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan di masa mendatang.
