Abstract

ABSTRAKKedelai (Glycine max L) adalah salah satu komoditas tanaman pangan penting di Indonesia. Produksi kedelai yang ada belum dapat mencukupi kebutuhan dalam negeri Indonesia. Berdasarkan data BPS hingga Bulan Desember 2023 produksi kedelai Indonesia berkisar 0.555 ton, sementara kebutuhan dalam negeri mencapai 2.7 juta ton. Salah satu upaya mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan lahan kering masam untuk budidaya tanaman adalah dengan menggunakan mulsa organik. Mulsa organik berasal dari bahan yang mudah terurai sehingga menambah bahan organik dalam tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ketebalan mulsa jerami padi terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi beberapa varietas kedelai. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Alue Dua, Langsa Baro, Kota Langsa, Provinsi Aceh. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Agustus-November 2023. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah ketebalan mulsa jerami padi 4 taraf, yaitu: Mo = Kontrol; M₁ = 5 cm; M2 = 7.5 cm dan M3 = 10 cm. Faktor kedua adalah varietas yang terdiri dari 4 taraf , yaitu: V1 = Demas 1; V2 = Dega 1; V3 = Detap 1 dan V4 = Dena 1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi perlakuan ketebalan mulsa jerami padi dan varietas tidak berpengaruh terhadap semua parameter yang diamati. Perlakuan ketebalan mulsa hanya berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman kedelai pada 14 HST. Perlakuan varietas kedelai berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 14, 28 dan 42 HST, umur berbunga, jumlah cabang produktif dan berat 100 biji. Berat 100 biji paling berat dihasilkan oleh perlakuan V4 (Varietas Dena 1), yaitu 23.00 gram.  ABSTRACTSoybean (Glycine max L) is one of the important food crop commodities in Indonesia. Existing soybean production has not been able to meet Indonesia's domestic needs. Based on BPS data until December 2023, Indonesia's soybean production was around 0.555 tons, while domestic demand reached 2.7 million tons. One effort to optimize the use of acidic dry land for plant cultivation was to use organic mulch. Organic mulch comes from materials that were easily decomposed so that it added organic matter to the soil. This study aimed to determine the effect of rice straw mulch thickness on the growth and production of several soybean varieties. The study was conducted in Alue Dua, Langsa Baro, Langsa City, Aceh Province. This study was conducted in August-November 2023. The study used a factorial randomized block design (RAK) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was the thickness of 4 levels of rice straw mulch, namely: Mo = Control; M₁ = 5 cm; M2 = 7.5 cm and M3 = 10 cm. The second factor was the variety consisting of 4 levels, namely: V1 = Demas 1; V2 = Dega 1; V3 = Detap 1 and V4 = Dena 1. The results showed that the interaction of the treatment of rice straw mulch thickness and variety did not affect all observed parameters. Mulch thickness treatment only had a significant effect on soybean plant height at 14 HST. Soybean variety treatment had a significant effect on plant height at 14, 28 and 42 HST, flowering age, number of productive branches and weight of 100 seeds. The heaviest weight of 100 seeds was produced by the V4 treatment (Dena 1 Variety), which was 23.00 grams.

Abstract

The fishermen's wife group is PKM Partners, who need empowerment. The limited knowledge and skills of partners in processing iodized salt and hygiene are problems that must be resolved. This community service aims to increase people's income, especially partners of fishermen's wives, by providing training and assistance in processing iodized and hygienic salt. The stages of this activity include 1) Socialization with partners regarding the processing of iodized and hygienic salt; 2) Salt processing training; 3) Financial bookkeeping training; 4) Monitoring and evaluation of PKM activities. The PKM method is the RRA (Rapid Rural Appreial) / PRA (Participatory Rural Appreial) method. This PKM produces iodized and hygienic salt products. Based on the questionnaire, it was found that 77% of partners are very understanding and skilled in processing iodized and hygienic salt, and 78% of partners strongly agree that this PKM activity can improve the quality of partners' salt.

Abstract

The increase in aquaculture businesses in the coastal areas of Seruway District, Aceh Tamiang Regency, has resulted in high conversion of mangrove forests into ponds. If management is not carried out, it will have an impact on coastal environmental degradation. Therefore, it is necessary to look for a sustainable pond management model. One model is silvofishery. In developing this silvofishery model, biophysical environmental data, social and economic conditions of pond cultivation are needed. The aim of this research is to determine the biophysical, social performance, income level and feasibility of a silvofishery system pond business. The research was conducted using descriptive methods with survey techniques. The research results show that the silvofishery ponds at the research location use a partite pond model. From the analysis of biophysical properties, overall results were obtained, the conditions were suitable for the development of milkfish and tiger prawn cultivation. From social performance, the results showed that silvofishery system pond farmers are still of productive age and have an average pond area of 5 ha. The income obtained from silvofishery system ponds is IDR 19,560,000/ha/year/farmer. Silvofishery pond system If the R/C value is greater than 1, then silvofishery pond farming is worth pursuing.

Abstract

Goldfish (Cyprinus carpio) is one of the prima donna of the freshwater fishery zone. In the market, this fish has a large low price and a fairly high demand, especially in the local market in Indonesia. The high demand for goldfish as a consumption need. One of the efforts to increase goldfish production in order to meet market demand is to develop a goldfish farming business. Unfertilized eggs are often attacked by microbes or disease-causing organisms that prevent the eggs from hatching and attempts are made to eradicate the microbes. This study aims to determine the appropriate dose of betel leaf extract in increasing egg hatchability and survival of goldfish larvae. The design used in this study was a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments with 3 replications. This treatment provided different doses of betel leaf extract, namely control (P1), 1.25 ml (P2), 1.50 ml (P3), 1.75 ml (P4). The observed parameters were the percentage of egg hatchability, abnormalities and survival rates. The results showed that administration of betel leaf extract had a significant effect on egg hatchability and goldfish survival rate. Whereas on the abnormality of carp larvae, betel leaf extract had no significant effect. The highest percentage of egg hatchability was P2 at 60%, the best percentage of larval abnormalities was obtained at P1, namely 0%, and the highest percentage of survival rate was at P2, namely 95.25%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan varietas dan pupuk organik cair terhadap produksi padi dengan metode Hazton. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan acak kelompok 2 faktor yaitu;  varietas yaitu Ciherang (V1),  Inpari 32 (V2),     Inpari 45 (V3), konsentrasi pemberian pupuk organik cair; tanpa pemberian pupuk (P0), 2 cc/liter (P1), dan 4 cc/l (P2). Untuk mengetahui performance pertumbuhan tanaman padi dilakukan pengamatan tinggi tanaman dan jumlah anakan 14 dan 28 HST, umur keluar malai, jumlah anakan produktif, panjang malai, umur panen, jumlah gabah, persentase gabah isi dan gabah kosong, berat gabah 1000 butir dan produksi gabah. Pengaruh yang sangat nyata terdapat pada tinggi tanaman, umur keluar malai, panjang malai dan umur panen. Tidak terdapat interaksi antar varietas dan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair serta tidak terdapat pengaruh yang nyata terhadap semua parameter yang diamati.

Abstract

Usaha ayam kampung super merupakan salah satu usaha ternak unggas yang cukup potensial untuk dikembangkan di Indonesia. Hal ini tidak terlepas dari berbagai keunggulan yang dimilikinya antara lain masa produksi yang relatif pendek, produktivitasnya tinggi, memiliki kualitas daging yang lebih tinggi dan rasa daging yang lebih diminati dibandingkan dengan ayam broiler. Kegiatan ini bertujuan sebagai upaya revitalisasi ekonomi dengan pelatihan dan pendampingan usaha intensifikasi agar mampu melakukan budidaya ayam kampung super dengan persyaratan teknis produksi ayam yang baik. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan sosialisasi kegiatan, penandatanganan, pelatihan teknis perkandangan, pelatihan teknis bibit ayam kampung super, kegiatan budidaya pemeliharaan ayam kampung super, pendampingan teknis vaksinasi dan pendampingan pemasaran. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Alur Alim selama 3 bulan dengan pesertanya adalah peternak. Metode yang digunakan untuk pemecahan masalah dalam kegiatan PKM ini yaitu dengan gabungan metode RRA (Rapid Rural Appraisal). Paket program yang diberikan adalah berupa kandang, bibit doc ayam, pakan starter dan finisher, peralatan pakan dan peralatan minum serta pemanas otomatis (gas solek) serta vaksin dan obat-obatan. Hasil yang didapatkan peternak adalah penigkatkan keterampilan dan menciptakan usaha ternak anak baik dari skala kecil maupun sampai skala besar

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of giving chicken manure and NPK 17:17:17 fertilizer to the growth of Porang seedlings, as well as the interaction between the two. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 2 factorials, namely, treatment of chicken manure (K) doses with 3 levels, namely: K1 = 20 gr/polybag, K2 = 40 gr/polybag and K3 = 60 gr/polybag, and treatment dose of NPK 17:17:17 (N) fertilizer with 3 levels, namely: N1 = 5 gr/polybag, N2 = 6 gr/polybag and N3 = 7 gr/polybag. The parameters observed in this study were: plant height (cm), stem diameter (cm), leaf width (cm) and number of leaves (strands). The results showed that the application of chicken manure had a significant effect on the leaf width parameter (cm). The best results were obtained in the K2 treatment (40 g/polybag). The application of NPK 17:17:17 fertilizer had a very significant effect on plant height (cm), stem diameter (cm) and number of leaves (strands). The best results were obtained in the N1 treatment (5 g/polybag). There is no interaction between chicken manure and NPK fertilizer 17:17:17.
