Abstract

Poetry is a means of conveying ideas. Wiji Thukul is a poet who was allegedly lost because of his poetry. This study describes the textual strategy or strategy of writing poetry that Wiji Thukul took in his symbolic contestation in the Indonesian literary arena during the New Order era. This research uses Pierre Bourdieu's cultural production theory to describe and explain Wiji Thukul's literary problems, both intrinsic and extrinsic, simultaneously. The data source of this research is the poetry anthology written by Wiji Thukul. The research data is in texts related to the textual strategy of writing Wiji Thukul's poetry on his symbolic contestation during the New Order era. Data were collected through document study and interviews. Data were analyzed with content analysis based on the mechanism of Krippendrof, including a) identifying Wiji Thukul's textual strategy in his symbolic contestation, which was used as material for analysis, b) classifying analysis units according to the problem in the study, c) conducting unit analysis to explore the findings that have identified, and d) determine aspects of the findings to make inferences and draw conclusions. The results of this study: 1) Wiji Thukul used a textual strategy by writing romantic-religious poetry from 1980-1985, 2) Wiji Thukul used a textual strategy by writing critical social poetry from 1985-1990, and 3) Wiji Thukul used a strategy textual by writing party poetry in the period 1990-1998.

Abstract

Learning literature in universities has not been able to increase creativity even though many models have been used. Therefore, this study aims to describe the effectiveness of the learning model based on creativity development in improving students' literary appreciation abilities. This quasi-experimental research uses a Quasi-experimental Design model of the Non-Equivalent Before-after Design. The population includes students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program at the University of PGRI Madiun and STKIP PGRI Pacitan. Sample selection was done randomly. Data were collected through a short story appreciation ability test. Data analysis was carried out in two stages, namely the analysis prerequisite test stage and the data analysis stage. Data analysis used independent t-test. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the learning model based on creativity development can improve students' ability to appreciate short stories. This enhancement has proven to be very effective. However, the application of this learning model needs to be supported by the environment, facilities, and curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan judul Kompetensi Menulis Teks Ulasan pada Siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Geger Kabupaten Madiun. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kesesuaian antara kemampuan pemahaman dan kompetensi menulis teks ulasan pada siswa kelas 8 di SMPN 1 Geger Kabupaten Madiun dengan landasan teoritis menulis teks ulasan yang benar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan penerapan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan teknik catat. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah data tertulis dan disajikan dalam bentuk scan jawaban siswa dari Google Form. Hal ini dilakukan untuk menjaga kebenaran dan keaslian jawaban tertulis dari masing-masing siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar kerja siswa (tes) dan kartu data. Hasil dan fokus dari penelitian ini dibagi menjadi dua, yaitu: kesesuaian kemampuan pemahaman kompetensi menulis teks ulasan dengan landasan teoritis: struktur teks ulasan dan unsur kebahasaan teks ulasan. Jumlah keseluruhan data yang didapat adalah 12 siswa yang menjawab lembar kerja siswa (tes) pada Google Form. Lembar kerja siswa berisikan 5 soal. Berkaitan dengan fokus dari penelitian ini kompetensi keterampilan menulis teks ulasan, oleh sebab itu analisis hanya dilakukan pada soal nomor 5 mengenai hasil ulasan siswa dan menghasilkan: dari total 12 siswa hanya 2 siswa yang menjawab dengan lengkap mengenai struktur teks ulasan, sedangkan untuk unsur kebahasaan 1 siswa tidak menjawab soal tersebut, 1 siswa tidak melampirkan adjektiva, 2 siswa tidak melampirkan pronomina, hanya 8 dari 12 siswa yang kalimatnya dapat digolongkan sebagai kalimat kompleks dan keseluruhan 12 siswa belum dapat melampirkan metafora dalam teks ulasannya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and classify absolute antonyms in Javanese. This research is a descriptive qualitative type. The data are in the form of words, phrases, clauses, and sentences containing absolute antonyms taken from Javanese textbooks and textbooks in elementary and high schools. Data collection techniques with documentation, listening, and record. The data were analyzed using the "agih" method with the substitution technique and the reflexive-introspective method. The results show that the meaning of contrast does not mean the known contrast, which has been taught in schools so far. Based on the meanings explained by experts, the meaning of antonyms is more complex, and the types of antonyms also vary. In absolute antonyms, several properties must be fulfilled, A and B are said to be absolute antonyms if A is negated, the meaning is the same as B, and vice versa if B is negated, the meaning is the same as A. This pattern can be used as a reference for teachers to teach contrasting meaning material, especially in absolute antonyms.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) on early reading ability of students with special needs in Inclusive Elementary Schools in Magetan Regency based on reading interest. This study used 2 x 2 factorial design with pre-test and post-test control group design. The samples were selected using a cluster random sampling technique; 35 students were selected as experimental group members, while 37 were selected as control group members. Reading interest scale was used to measure the reading interest of students, and early reading ability was measured using early reading ability test. Two-way ANOVA was used to analyse the hypothesis. The test was performed with a multiple comparison test using Scheffe's method. The results show that (1) there are differences in the early reading ability of students with special needs who are taught by applying the IEP and those who are not; (2) there are differences in the early reading ability of students with special needs between groups of students with high reading interest and low reading interest; (3) there is an interaction between the application of IEP and reading interest in improving the early reading ability of students with special needs.

Abstract

This study aims to delineate Wiji Thukul's literary praxis as pedagogical content for literary education in tertiary institutions. Pierre Bourdieu's concept of cultural production theory is the theoretical framework employed to elucidate Wiji Thukul's literary practice and its applicability as instructional material in literature studies at universities. This research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach. The primary data for this investigation consists of various documents, including articles, journalistic notes, and investigative reports. Drawing from this corpus, the data collection method entails a literature review, while content analysis is the primary data analysis technique. The findings of this study underscore the contemporary relevance of Wiji Thukul's literary praxis, thereby advocating its integration as instructional material for literature studies in universities. This recommendation arises from the observation that current teaching materials for literature studies in higher education predominantly concentrate on literary works as objects of study.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kampanye gerakan anti-korupsi perlu terus dilakukan karena semakin hari gerakan korupsi semakin merajalela. Salah satu upaya Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) yang dilakukan adalah dengan menyelenggarakan Anti-Corruption Film Festival (ACFFest) untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat pada perilaku anti-korupsi, menanamkan perilaku anti-korupsi, dan mendorong partisipasi masyarakat untuk turut serta dalam pemberantasan korupsi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali kemudian menanamkan nilai antikorupsi yang terdapat dalam film Rapor kepada siswa tingkat sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini berjenis kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah gambar, video, kata-kata, frasa, atau kalimat dalam film Rapor yang mengandung nilai anti korupsi. Metode pengumpulan data adalah simak dan catat. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode deskripsi dan content analysis. Berdasarkan analisis dan pembahasan, nilai antikorupsi yang dapat digali dan ditanamkan pada anak SD dalam film Rapor di antaranya nilai kejujuran dan keberanian. Film tersebut sangat layak digunakan baik sebagai sumber belajar maupun media pembelajaran bagi siswa SD.Abstract: Campaign for the anti-corruption movement needs to be carried out because the corruption movement is increasingly rampant. One of the efforts made by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is to organize an Anti-Corruption Film Festival (ACFFest) to increase public understanding of anti-corruption behavior, instill anti-corruption behavior, and encourage public participation to participate in eradicating corruption. The purpose of this study was to explore and then instill the anti-corruption values contained in the report card film to elementary school students. This research is a descriptive qualitative type. Sources of data in this study are pictures, videos, words, phrases, or sentences in the report card film which contain anti-corruption values. The method of collecting data is listening and taking notes. Data were analyzed using descriptions and content analysis methods. Based on the analysis and discussion, the anti-corruption values that can be explored and implanted in elementary school children in the report card film include the values of honesty and courage. The film is very suitable to be used both as a learning resource and as a learning medium for elementary students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPAS materi siklus hidup hewan dengan media diorama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Model PTK yang digunakan model spiral C. Kemmis & Mc Taggart yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Kaibon 01 yang berjumlah 7 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik tes dan teknik non tes. Instrumen penelitian dengan menggunakan butir soal dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan rerata dan ketuntasan nilai hasil belajar IPAS materi siklus hidup hewan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik pada pra-siklus, rata-rata hasil belajar yaitu sebesar 58,5 termasuk kategori kurang dan presentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 14,2%. Pada siklus 1, rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik 64,2 termasuk kategori cukup dan presentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 42,8%. Siklus 1 belum memenuhi indikator keberhasilan tindakan dan perlu dilakukan perbaikan. Peneliti melakukan refleksi dan lebih memanfaatkan media diorama dalam proses pembelajaran. Pada siklus II rata-rata hasil belajar 90 termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dan persentase ketuntasan belajar menjadi 100% dan telah memenuhi kriteria keberhasilan penelitian. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media diorama dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS materi siklus hidup hewan pada peserta didik kelas IV

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi Experiment Design. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh model PjBL terintegrasi STEM terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa mata pelajaran IPAS siswa kelas IV MIN 2 Kota Madiun dan untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek diketahui populasi dari penelitian adalah 216 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu berjumlah 72 siswa kelas  IV dari kedua kelas yang dibagi menjadi kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan pretest dan posttest. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan rata-rata nilai kelas eksperimen 83,33, rata – rata nilai kelas kontrol 68,83. Uji normalitas berdasarkan uji Klomogrov-Smirnov >0,05 hasil dari kelas eksperimen 0,200, kelas kontrol 0,200 maka data dinyatakan normal. Berdasarkan hasil uji homogenitas menunjukkan nilai signifikasi  0,697 > 0,05 maka data bersifat homogen. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan hasil analisis t-test diperoleh nilai sign-2 tailed sebesar 0,001 yang berarti nilai tersebut kurang dari 0,05 yang diartikan jika sign<0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian  dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran PjBL terintegrasi STEM berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.
