Abstract

The issue of gender is one of the actual issues in Islam. In patriarchal culture, men are dominant in household matters. They make a living and make decisions in the family. Women's duties are only to obey and take care of domestic work at home. Instead, public space belongs to men. Women are seen as weak creatures who will always be below men. This view was born not only because of patriarchal culture, but also because of an understanding of the verses of the which is gender biased, causing injustice to women. Amina Wadud, one of the modern thinkers, challenged this understanding and advocated a reinterpretation of verses that were considered discriminatory against women. According to Wadud, in Islam, men and women have equal status. There is no superiority of men over women because the measure of glory is based on the quality of piety to Allah SWT, not on the basis of gender. Furthermore, Wadud also rejected the view of the majority of scholars who understand the word "nafsin wahidah" contained in Q.S. al-Nisa: 1 as Adam. The implication is that the creation of Eve which refers to the word "zawj" in the same verse did not come from Adam. According to him, Eve was created from matter of the same quality as the creation of Adam.

Abstract

The habit of praying Dhuha and Dzuhur in congregation also has a positive impact on the development of students' spirituality. Prayer as one of the main worships in Islam, can provide inner peace and coolness of soul for anyone who performs it with full devotion. By performing worship regularly, students will feel closer to Allah SWT, and gain peace in living their daily lives, both in school and outside of school. This study aims to analyze the implementation of moral development of students through the habit of praying Dhuha and Dzuhur in congregation at Al-Hidayah Islamic High School Cukangkawung Sodonghilir Tasikmalaya. The method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach. The data collection techniques are through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. While the data analysis technique uses the interactive Miles and Huberman model consisting of data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions, as well as for data validity testing through observation diligence, triangulation, reference adequacy, and member checks. The results of this study indicate that the habituation activities of praying dhuha and dzuhur in congregation at SMA Islam Al-Hidayah Cukangkawung Sodonghilir Tasikmalaya are carried out in a programmed and planned manner. With steps starting from habituation carried out since students enter grade X, habituation is carried out continuously, and habituation is monitored strictly, consistently, and firmly. This habituation has implications for students including spiritual, social, educational, school environment, psychological, and academic achievement aspects

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan paradigma baru kepemimpinan dimadrasah. Metode penelitian yang dihunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Kepemimpinan transformatif merupakan jenis kepemimpinan baru (new leadership paradigm) yang dipandang efektif untuk mendinamiskan perubahan, terutama pada situasi lingkungan yang bersifat transisional. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya pergeseran paradigma kepemimpinan di Madrasah Aliyah Al-Fadlliyah. Kepala Madrasah Aliyah Al-Fadlliyah telah memiliki dan memenuhi kelima komponen yang menunjukan karakteristik kepemimpinan transformatif yang dikemukakan oleh Bass & Avolio.

Abstract

Ramadan as a month of abundant rewards and forgiveness can also be used as a month of education (tarbiyah). Flash boarding schools, for example, can be one of these educational facilities. This study aims to gather information regarding the implementation of the management of the flash boarding school for Ramadan at the Baeturrohmah Ciroyom Tasikmalaya Mosque Prosperity Board (DKM). This study used a qualitative method with an action research approach. Data were analyzed through the stages of data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion. Meanwhile, to test the validity of the data, it was carried out with observation and triangulation. This research shows that the management functions used to optimize Islamic boarding schools in the mosque prosperity council (DKM) Baeturrohmah Ciroyom Tasikmalaya consist of: 1) Planning, the parties involved are representatives from various walks of life. Matters discussed in the planning include: a) the fixation of the implementation of the flash boarding school; b) the amount of costs to be allocated; c) the committee; and d) the teacher. 2) Implementation, consisting of the maturation of the concept (covering the determination of teaching materials and class divisions, determination of lesson schedules, determination of teachers, and preparation of budgets and sources of funds) and the implementation of flash boarding schools. 3) Supervision and evaluation, supervision activities are carried out by the mosque's prosperity council (DKM) and the implementing committee during the flash boarding school. While the evaluation is carried out by the implementing committee at the time after supervision and at the end of the patient's activities.

Abstract

Student service is one of the indicators to measure the quality of higher education. Its convenience will create comfort for students which will lead to satisfaction; that is one of the assessment aspects in institution accreditation. When the students are satisfied with the service, it will also become a free marketing to the community. This study aims to analyze the use of Google Workspace for Education as a basis for data governance and student services in higher education. The method used in this study was qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The data analysis techniques were using interactive models of Miles and Huberman that consisted of data condensation, data presentation and conclusions drawing. The validity test of the data was carried out through observation and triangulation. The results of this study indicated that Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah Az Zahra Tasikmalaya has been using Google Workspace for Education as the basis for data management and student services by utilizing Google Drive, Google Forms, Google Documents, Google Spreadsheets, Google Slides, Google Meet and Google Sites features. These features are used as data storage media, attendance lists, generating certificate, issuing active letter and research permits, webinars, and student admission pages. The impact of using Google Workspace for Education has been greatly perceived by students, as well as by other parties. The use of Google Workspace for Education has given some benefits, namely: 1) Effectiveness, such as a fast service in issuing an active letter for the students that will be sent automatically via email, and non-face-to-face service in administration office unless when there are some problems in its application; 2) Efficiency, for new universities that are still in adjustment, one of which is financial aspect, where Google Workspace for Education can be an alternative that can be used in providing services to students, because the necessary features can be accessed for free.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efforts made by Ansoriyah Islamic Boarding School to increase competitiveness through competitive advantages in the Amtsilati flagship program. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through participatory observation, structured interviews, and documentation studies. The data analysis in this study includes data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion. Testing the validity of the data is carried out with diligent observation, triangulation, and adequacy of reference materials. The results of this study indicate that Ansoriyah Islamic Boarding School seeks to achieve competitive advantage through the Amtsilati flagship program consisting of: 1) Amtsilati quality as a fast method of yellow books used by various Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia, in addition, Amtsilati teachers are direct graduates of Amtsilati central Islamic boarding schools; 2) Minimal costs incurred to be able to participate in the Amtsilati program; 3) Amtsilati completion time is not too long, and; 4) Amtsilati flexibility, one example of which is the increase in the level of the book which can be carried out at any time according to the ability of the students.

Abstract

Early literacy abilities in this case include the ability to read letter symbols, read syllables, recognize vowels, recognize consonant letters, indicate letters according to their sounds and arrange syllables into words. This research aims to determine the increase in early literacy skills through the Syllable Board game. The Classroom Action Research (PTK) method was used in this research with a flow of planning, action, observation and reflection carried out in two cycles. The data collection techniques used are observation, documentation and interviews. The results of the research show that the early literacy abilities of TKIT Annida Sokaraja group B children increase in each cycle through the Syllable Board game. As for the increase in initial conditions or Pre-Cycle, the average percentage value was 58.89%, after implementing the Syllable Board game, the average value increased to 75.28% in Cycle I. After improvements were made in Cycle II, the average value the average increased to 87.5%.

Abstract

Project-based learning is one approach that can be used to achieve students understanding of library management courses comprehensively, not only theoretically but also practically. This research describes the project-based learning management process in the library management course of the Islamic Education Management study program at the Tarbiyah Az Zahra Tasikmalaya College of Science. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques consisting of observation, interviews and documentation studies. While data analysis techniques include data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show the project-based learning implementation is carried out with the following steps: 1) determining the project, activities in this stage include delivering the syllabus and identifying the form of the project according to student needs; 2) planning for project completion, in this stage a table is prepared, library processing practices are carried out, and student groups are divided; 3) project implementation is carried out after the lecture completes 8 class meetings; 4) monitoring project completion, this activity is carried out when students practice directly in the library and monitor the library management practice table; 5) assessment of project results, assessment is based on several things, including: a) student persistence in attending lectures (theoretical discussions) in class, b) filling in the logbook table, c) filling in the library management progress table; and d) the role or status of student activity; 6) evaluation and reflection on project results, each group creates and collects videos and slides about ongoing management practices and then presents them, after which it continues with reflection guided by the lecturer who teaches the library management course.

Abstract

In the present day, Islamic educational institutions face intense competition, particularly from traditional establishments, due to the emergence of modern educational institutes that provide curricula and novel systems, such as the integration of formal education. This motivates conventional educators to devise strategies for sustaining their operations amidst this intense competition. In light of the fact that contemporary society tends to favor educational institutions that combine formal education and religion. The Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Ulum Mount bubut, Tasikmalaya is also concerned with how to ensure its continued existence through the establishment of formal education. Subsequently, this study was conducted in an effort to assess the viability of formal education as a means of preserving the Miftahul Ulum Pondok Pesantren. Utilizing a descriptive analysis approach and qualitative research methodology, data is gathered via documentation studies, interviews, and observations. Subsequently, the data is analyzed through an interactive model comprising the following stages: data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study indicated that the Mifatahul Ulum Pondok Pesantren implemented a formal education initiative in order to ensure its continued existence. This was accomplished through the establishment of the Yapim SMK, which offered two disciplines. The school utilized the mix marketing approach to introduce and promote its offerings. These included an Islamic environment, extracurricular activities, entrepreneurial pursuits, affordable prices, sufficient facilities, a strategic location, a connection between the school curriculum and training, and the promotion of special rates for students who participated in the training

Abstract

The Ministry of Health provides training to employees to improve their skills and level of service to the people of Indonesia. In the health service training activities carried out, employee training is carried out through seminars. The seminar was conducted in the form of application presentations and hardcopy manuals. The implementation that has been implemented is still lacking because there is no online application that helps the facilitator measure participants' understanding. Therefore, the researchers built an application that aims to produce a website-based online training application. The system development method uses Rapid Application Development (RAD), which is modeled using Unified Modeling Language (UML) tools. Using the PHP programming language and MySQL as a Relational Database Management system, this research produces a training application that can assist the Ministry of Health, especially the Center for Data and Information, in conducting training.
