Abstract

Integration in the meaning of the relationship between formal and non-formal education is the existence of a unity of purpose and an educational system that is mutually beneficial between the two. This research aims to analyze the integration between formal and non-formal education, in this case schools and Islamic boarding schools under the auspices of the Miftahul Ulum Gunungbubut Sodonghilir Tasikmalaya Islamic Education Foundation. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation studies. Meanwhile, the interactive model which includes data condensation, data presentation and conclusions is used as a data analysis tool. The results of this research show that several things are integrated between schools and Islamic boarding schools, namely related to: 1) discounts on school entrance fees for students who live in Islamic boarding schools; 2) lesson schedule, and 3) holiday schedule.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformation of attendance from manual to automation and its management process at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya in improving student discipline. This study is included in the type of qualitative research with a data collection process through participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique is through data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, the data validity test is carried out by extending observations, triangulation, peer review, reference adequacy, and member checks. The results of this study indicate that the activities carried out in the use of automated attendance include: 1) planning involving class teachers, BK teachers and the Head of Madrasah. The things that are prepared include student discipline programs and devices used in this case android, google form and QR Code; 2) The implementation of attendance automation at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya is carried out through a prepared pattern; 3) Supervision in the use of automated attendance is carried out in a structured manner. The use of automated attendance has a significant impact on the development and progress of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya, especially in student discipline.

Abstract

Pesantren as the oldest Islamic educational institution in Indonesia has a very noble mission, where everything that is done must ultimately lead to the formation of a generation with noble morals. This can be done in various ways, either through direct exemplary behavior exemplified by the kiai and ustadz or through understanding gained after studying the yellow book. The understanding of the yellow book should be mastered by students in a not too long time, so that they are also able to practice it immediately. So to realize this, an effort that is different from the others is needed. The type of research is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach with data collection through participatory observation, structured interviews and documentation studies. The data analysis technique is through condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions while the data validity test is carried out by extending observations, increasing perseverance, adequacy of references, and member checks. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the one teacher two students method at the Gemayasih Cibungur Parungponteng Tasikmalaya Islamic Boarding School was carried out with structured planning, organization that includes determining the books to be studied, determining the mudaris and determining the students, implementing the one teacher two students method which was carried out after the dawn prayer and evaluation consisting of daily and semester evaluations. The existence of this one teacher two students method has a very significant impact on the development of reading yellow books by students and santriyah, this is evidenced by always winning the sub-district and district level competitions in the 2021-2024 period in the field of MQK (Musabaqoh Qira'atul Kutub).

Abstract

The development of digital technology has opened up new opportunities in the world of marketing, one of which is through the Shopee Affiliate program, which allows individuals to earn income without having their own products. This program is highly relevant for madrasah students who are already familiar with social media but lack adequate understanding and skills in digital marketing. This community service activity aims to improve digital literacy and the ability of MA Al-Hidayah Wangunsari students to utilize Shopee Affiliate productively. The activity is implemented through three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The training is delivered using interactive lectures, supported by PowerPoint and video visualizations, and includes hands-on practice simulation sessions. The results of the activity show an increase in students' understanding of how to use social media to promote affiliate products, as well as a growing interest in digital entrepreneurship among participants. This activity is expected to become an applicable non-formal learning model and can shape madrasah students who are adaptive, creative, and economically independent in facing the challenges of the digital era.

Abstract

Family plays a strategic role in character formation, social resilience, and the development of human resources, particularly in rural communities. However, limited family life skills, such as conflict management, parenting practices, and adaptation to digital challenges, may weaken family resilience. This Community Service Program aimed to enhance understanding of the concept of maslahah family and to develop family life skills based on Islamic values through training and mentoring activities at Majlis Taklim Nurul Hilal, Sukabakti Village, Sodonghilir District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The program employed a participatory action approach using training and mentoring methods, involving families who are members of the majlis taklim as the primary participants. The activities were conducted in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results indicated an improvement in participants’ understanding of maslahah family values, family communication skills, conflict management strategies, and awareness of adaptive parenting in the digital era. Furthermore, the program strengthened the role of the majlis taklim as a community-based center for family empowerment rooted in religious values and local wisdom. This initiative contributed positively to strengthening family resilience and improving the quality of social life in rural communities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the educational financing patterns at the Manba'ul Ulum Awitali Islamic Boarding School, a Salafi Islamic boarding school located in a rural area and does not receive government assistance. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including participatory observation, structured interviews, and documentation. The results show that this Islamic boarding school is able to survive and thrive through a community-based financing system. The main sources of funding come from monthly student fees, alumni donations, community donations, and creative income from Islamic arts activities such as hadroh and marawis groups. Financial management is carried out collectively and transparently, although it does not yet use a modern accounting system. Furthermore, the Islamic boarding school's success in managing its financing is supported by the active involvement of all elements of the boarding school, including student guardians, alumni, and the surrounding community. Islamic values such as trustworthiness, sincerity, and blessings are the main principles in financial management practices. This financing model demonstrates the strong role of social capital and spirituality in supporting the sustainability of education. These findings indicate that traditional Islamic boarding schools can develop an independent, equitable, and sustainable financial system by optimizing internal potential, community participation, and existing social networks.
