Abstract

Greeting words are the most widely used words in daily communication. Many greetings are taken from the kinship term. Each language has different kinship terms based on its culture. This study aims to describe (1) the Arabic kinship term, (2) the Indonesian kinship term, and (3) the similarities and differences between the Arabic and Indonesian kinship terms. This research is a qualitative research with contrastive and anthropolinguistic analysis approaches. The data of this research are the vocabulary of kinship terms in Arabic and Indonesian which are taken from various sources. The results are (1) Arabic kinship terms are more varied than Indonesian, (2) Arabic kinship terms have syntactic markers to distinguish between terms for male and female, (3) based on the patrilineal system applies to the Arab community, Arabic distinguishes between terms for father's line and mother's line, (4) in Indonesian, there are terms that are differentiated by age, (5) in terms of nature, the kinship term in Arabic is descriptive, while in Indonesian is descriptive and classified, (6) the terms of kinship in Arabic and Indonesian can be addressed to non-relatives so that both can be metaphorical.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop an Electronic Book (Ebook) based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) for the Tatbiq Nahwi Ibtida'i course and test its validity. The research method used is research and development (Research and Development); there are five steps in development, namely: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) evaluation, and (5) revision. This ebook product was tested on ten Department of Arabic Literature, the State University of Malang students taking the course—data collection techniques through interviews and observation. Data analysis techniques include data identification, grouping, presentation and explanation of data content, and conclusions. The data analysis technique used in quantitative data is percentage data analysis. The resulting development product is an Electronic Book (Ebook) based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) for the Tatbiq Nahwi Ibtida'i course and the validity of the resulting product. The results of this product validation, namely: the percentage of reality from media experts is 96.7%. At the same time, the value of the material expert percentage validity is 98.5%. From the field test results, the correspondent's percentage value is 83.5%; this shows that the ebook is very valid.

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this paper is to conduct a comparative study based on Rusydi Ahmad Thu’aimah’s view between the Arabic textbook for grade 10 of Madrasah Aliyah in Indonesia with 2013 scientific curriculum approach and Al Lughah Al ‘Arabiyah marhalah Mutawasithah Uulaa textbook in Thailand. The aspects compared in this study include language, language skills, vocabulary learning, and nahwu learning. The data collection method used is the documentation method. The analysis steps include data collection and field survey, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The result of this study shows that Arabic textbook in Indonesia adheres better to the criteria based on Rusydi Ahmad Thu’aimah’s view especially in language skills, vocabulary learning, and nahwu learning compared to the Arabic textbook from Thailand which only adheres to the criteria based on Rusydi Ahmad Thu’aimah’s view in the aspect of the language used in the book. Keywords: comparative, textbooks, Arabic, Indonesia, Thailand Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan studi komparatif berdasarkan pandangan Rusydi Ahmad Thu’aimah antara Buku Siswa Bahasa Arab Pendekatan Saintifik Kurikulum 2013 X Madrasah Aliyah dari Indonesia dan buku Al Lughah Al ‘Arabiyah marhalah Mutawasithah Uulaa dari Thailand. Aspek-aspek yang dibandingkan meliputi aspek bahasa, keterampilan berbahasa, pembelajaran kosakata, dan pembelajaran nahwu. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi. Tahap analisis yang digunakan meliputi pengumpulan data dan pengecekan lapangan, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penyimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar bahasa arab Indonesia lebih memenuhi kriteria berdasarkan pandangan Rusydi Ahmad Thu’aimah dalam keterampilan berbahasa yang disajikan, pembelajaran kosakata, dan pembelajaran nahwu dibandingkan dengan buku Ajar bahasa Thailand. Begitu juga sebaliknya bahwa buku ajar bahasa Arab Thailand lebih memenuhi kriteria berdasarkan pandangan Rusydi Ahmad Thu’aimah dibandingkan dengan buku ajar bahasa Arab Thailand dalam aspek bahasa yang digunakan buku. Abstract

Faktor yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V di MIN 2 Kota Pasuruan memiliki keterbatasan akses terhadap sumber belajar, keterbatasan pengetahuan mereka tentang kata-kata bahasa Arab, dan kurangnya kemampuan kerja sama tim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi siswa kelas V MIN 2 di Kota Pasuruan dengan media Maze dan kosakata bahasa Arab mereka. Sebanyak 29 siswa kelas V dari MIN 2 Kota Pasuruan dijadikan sebagai partisipan penelitian. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian praeksperimen dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Observasi, wawancara, tes, dan kuesioner adalah beberapa teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan. Alat penelitian meliputi angket, tes tertulis, aturan observasi, dan prosedur wawancara. Kuesioner dengan indikator tanggung jawab, kontribusi, dan instruksi digunakan untuk mengeva­luasi kerja sama tim. Sementara itu, pretest dan posttest digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan bahasa Arab siswa. Setelah perlakuan, temuan penelitian menunjukkan T1 sebesar 58 persen dan T2 sebesar 69 persen. Sebaliknya, kerja sama tim, seperti yang diungkapkan oleh jawaban kuesioner, mendapat skor 91 persen dalam kategori baik menurut tanggapan survei. Hasilnya, dapat disimpul­kan bahwa penggunaan media Maze pada siswa kelas V MIN 2 Kota Pasuruan terhadap kerja sama tim dan kemampuan kosakata bahasa Arab terbukti berpengaruh positif. Kata kunci: media Maze, kerja sama tim, kosakata bahasa Arab The Influence of Using Maze Media on Teamwork and Arabic Vocabulary Ability of Class V Student’s State Islamic Elementary School Background factors for this study are the class V pupils in MIN (State Islamic Elementary School) 2 Pasuruan City's limited access to learning resources, their limited knowledge of Arabic words, and their lack of teamwork abilities. This study aims to determine labyrinth media affects group work and Arabic language skills in Class V MIN 2 Pasuruan City. The study involved 29 students in class V. A one-group pretest-posttest experimental pre-experimental research design was used in this investigation. Tests, interviews, and observation are the methods used to acquire data. The research tools included questionnaires, written tests, observation rules, and interview procedures. In the meantime, the pretest and posttest were used to gauge students' Arabic language abilities. Question­naires with indicators of responsibility, contribution, and instructions were used to evaluate teamwork. After therapy, the study's findings showed a T1 of 58 percent and a T2 of 69 percent. However, 91 percent of respondents rated teamwork as excellent in the questionnaire results, which are known. Thus, it can be said that the employment of labyrinth media to instruct students in Pasuruan City's class V MIN 2 was successful about collaboration and Arabic vocabulary skills has had a favorable impact. Abstract

The low learning outcomes of grade 6 students at SDN 3 Dawuhan, especially when learning to determine the main idea of ​​an explanatory text, is caused by several factors, namely internal and external. External factors include variations in the learning model carried out by the teacher which are still not optimal. The subjects of this study were 6th grade students at SDN 3 Dawuhan, consisting of 10 students. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research approach with data collection techniques through tests, observations and interviews. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of the PQ4R learning strategy (Preview, Questions, Read, Reflect, Reside and Review) in learning Indonesian to determine the main idea of ​​an explanatory text. The results obtained are, 1) increasing the ability to ask questions, 2) increasing self-confidence, 3) increasing the ability to think critically and 4) the ability to understand reading. Suggestions for future research, so that there are efforts to cultivate reading activities for students so that they can increase vocabulary treasury which will further improve reading comprehension skills as well. Abstract

Learning is an activity carried out by educators and learners in an environment that aims to achieve a learning goal. The fact is that in schools, there are still many educators who still need to achieve learning goals, especially learning maharah kalam. Therefore, the problem in schools is the low value of students in learning maharah kalam. This is due to an educator's need for more initiative in using several components that support the achievement of learning goals. One of these components is the learning method. Thus, the researchers used the picture-and-picture Learning method to develop students' Maharah Kalam. This study aimed to determine how the picture and picture method has influenced the development of Arabic speaking skills among students in MAN 2 Situbondo. In this study, researchers used quantitative approaches and types of experiments. This study's experiments and data collection methods use tests, questionnaires, observation, and documentary. Analysis of the data using the formula of the product of moments: r = nΣxy – (Σx)(Σy) /√{nΣx² – (Σx)²} {nΣy2 – (Σy)2}. The results of this study showed that the effect of the picture-and-picture method on the development of students ' speaking skills at an error rate of 5% is powerful. The average test result in the experimental class was 86.7, and in the observation class, 69.9. The data analysis results for the t-test calculation are 8.71 and T-schedule 1.67 or 8.71>1.67.

Abstract

Buku ajar memegang peranan yang sangat penting dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar dan menyampaikan materi kurikulum dalam mata pelajaran sehingga menjadi bagian sentral dalam suatu sistem pendidikan. Buku ajar juga berperan penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dasardan menengah, sehingga perlu adanya uji kelayakan buku ajar karena memungkinkan terjadinya kesalahan penulisan ataupun kesalahan penggunaan bahasa. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menganalisis buku ajar bahasa arab kelas 5 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah terbitan Departemen Pendidikan Pengurus Pusat Hidayatullah Tahun 2020. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk kesalahan morfologi dan bentuk kesalahan sintaksis yang terdapat pada buku ajar bahasa arab kelas 5 Madrasah ISbtidaiyah terbitan Departemen Pendidikan Pengurus Pusat Hidayatullah Tahun 2020. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Kualitatif deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan 10 kesalahan, 3 kesalahan berupa sintaksis dan 7 kesalahan morfologi.
