Abstract

The educational area like campus is one of the urban areas that generate or attract pedestrian movements. Providing pedestrian facilities in this area is crucial and needs to be noticed by relevant stakeholders. The objective of this study is to assess pedestrian facilities in the Universitas Pancasila Campus area by applying the Walkability Index methodology. Primary data consists of pedestrian facilities inventory data inventory data and walkability assessments through field surveys, pedestrian perception data through distributing questionnaires by online. It is intended that this study will give any recommendation, particularly with enhancing the neighbourhood around the campus for pedestrians. The Walkability Index results for the Universitas Pancasila campus area show that all surveyed routes are in the quite good (average index value of 54.38), this means that the provision of pedestrian facilities in this campus area is quite adequate. The campus needs to focus on three characteristics going forward: the availability of crossing facilities, facilities for the disabled, and supporting facilities, according to the parameter score that was achieved.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan limbah sebagai bahan modifikasi campuran aspal merupakan pendekatan inovatif untuk mendukungpembangunan infrastruktur berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh penambahan 5% serbuk karet ban dan 2%plastik Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) terhadap kinerja campuran aspal beton lapis aus (AC-WC) dengan metode wetprocess. Pengujian dilakukan pada agregat halus, agregat kasar, dan aspal untuk memastikan kesesuaian dengan SpesifikasiUmum Bina Marga 2018 Revisi 2, serta uji Marshall pada kadar aspal 4,5%–6,5%. Seluruh material memenuhi kriteria teknis,kecuali kadar lumpur pada agregat kasar yang melebihi batas maksimum sehingga memerlukan pencucian. Hasil menunjukkan campuran modifikasi memiliki stabilitas dan Marshall Quotient (MQ) lebih tinggi dibanding campurankonvensional. Pada kadar aspal 6%, campuran modifikasi mencapai stabilitas 2.692,08 kg dan MQ 1.209,25 kg/mm,sedangkan campuran konvensional 2.301,32 kg dan MQ 932,01 kg/mm. Kadar aspal optimum campuran konvensionaladalah 6%, sementara campuran modifikasi optimum pada 5,75%. Penurunan kebutuhan aspal pada campuran modifikasidisebabkan sifat elastis dan termoplastik PET serta serbuk karet ban yang mampu mengisi rongga agregat lebih efektif danmenyatu homogen dengan aspal melalui pemanasan, menghasilkan campuran lebih padat dan kohesif. Interaksi inimeningkatkan daya ikat antar komponen serta mengurangi kebutuhan aspal tanpa mengorbankan kinerja mekanis,sehingga berpotensi menjadi solusi ramah lingkungan untuk peningkatan mutu perkerasan jalan.
