Abstract

WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) plays an important role in every construction project. WBS is a hierarchy of decreasing scope of work to become the smallest level called a work package, making it easier in the process of project management and control. The current problem is that many contractors in Indonesia, both large and small contractors, do not understand the importance of using WBS in a construction project. This causes project performance to be less than optimal, especially on cost and time performance. Currently, WBS standards have been developed for building projects. In this study will look at the cost and time performance of the project from the use of WBS standard building. The sample used in this study are projects that have applied the use of project standards. The projects include Building X, Lecture Building Y, and Sports Facility Building Z. The method used in this study is the EVM (Earn Value Method) approach, collecting data using questionnaires. The results showed that using the WBS standard had an effect on cost and time performance. Good cost and time performance is shown in the Building X and Lecture Y buildings. While the cost and time performance of the Z Sports Facility Building tends to be unstable. This is because the work items that exist in the WBS standard are not in accordance with the project conditions, so it is necessary to adjust work items.

Abstract

The construction of apartment buildings is vulnerable to the occurrence of changes to the cost of the plan that had been budgeted. Including the project of Urban Homes Residential Tower B North Lippo Village which needs to calculate the cost plan from the design stage, to reduce the impact on the implementation phase. This study aims to determine the factors that affect the calculation of cost plan, to know the calculation volume of works, preparation of analysis and cost plans, and to analyze the difference between the cost plan and cost contract. The scope of work for the analysis of the calculation of upper structure in Urban Homes Residential project for the tower B (Urban Two) which starts from the 1st floor to the 42nd floor is to calculate the quantity of the upper structure (shear wall, slab, beam, column, ramp, and parapet wall works), to prepare cost plan using Analisa Harga Satuan Pekerjaan (AHSP) refer to PM-PUPR-28/2016 with the unit rate of wages, materials, and equipment of DKI Jakarta 2021 as well as the cost plan. Cost plan is influenced by location, type of structure and soil conditions, building design and space composition, building size, contract period, and implementation method. The cost required to carry out the upper structure works on this project is Rp. 129,195,120,664 with an area of 89,054.11 m² and the cost per m2 of upper structure works is Rp. 1,523,000.00. The comparison of the cost plan and cost contract is Rp. 3,084,359,691 with a comparison percentage of 2.45% of the cost contract.

Abstract

Meningkatnya urbanisasi menimbulkan biaya sosial dan lingkungan yang tinggi. Urbanisasi juga mendorong munculnya masalah limbah padat. Masalah ini muncul karena adanya kesalahan dalam manajemen dan rendahnya kesadaran akan pengelolaan limbah padat, dalam hal ini di perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis tingkat pengetahuan, perilaku, dan praktik mahasiswa yang terkait dengan pengelolaan limbah padat di Fakultas Teknik Universitas Pancasila. Sebanyak 100 mahasiswa di Fakultas Teknik dipilih secara acak dan diberikan kuesioner kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan software Minitab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa secara umum sangat baik, sedangkan terkait dengan perilaku menunjukkan bahwa sekitar 75% mahasiswa memiliki perilaku yang sangat baik dalam pengelolaan limbah. Selain itu, praktek pengelolaan limbah padat oleh mahasiswa menunjukkan tingkat yang masih rendah yaitu 28% mahasiswa masih belum memisahkan jenis limbah yang dibuang. Meskipun setengah dari responden sadar akan pentingnya mengelola limbah padat, kebanyakan dari mereka gagal mempraktekan pengetahuan dan kesadaran mereka. Oleh karena itu, upaya yang luas dan berkelanjutan oleh berbagai pemangku kepentingan sangat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran mahasiswa tentang pengelolaan limbah padat yang berkelanjutan, khususnya di Fakultas Teknik Universitas Pancasila.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find the most sustainable solid waste management scenario for universities. It is based on the Green Campus concept which aims to eliminate waste inefficiencies and use energy sources for ordinary electricity needs, as well as proper disposal management and efficient recycling programs. The Analytic Hierarchy Process approach is used in this study to produce strategic decisions in solid waste management. A pairwise comparison questionnaire was distributed to four experts from universities to give an assessment of the questionnaire. The results show that the alternative of recycling technology innovation is the choice of experts with a weight of 0.429 which is based on technology criteria with a weight of 0.477 and the sub-criteria of Perception and participation of campus residents with a weight of 0.509. Furthermore, the overall assessment of the experts has a consistency value below 0.1. This research could be a starting point in developing a Green Campus sustainability strategy through solid waste management.

Abstract

Penggunaan perkerasan kaku di Indonesia menunjukkan kemajuan yang signifikan, baik secara kuantitas maupun kualitas. Dari proyek yang ada, penggunaan perkerasan kaku tidak pernah terjadi kegagalan struktural, sangat berbeda dengan proyek yang menggunakan perkerasan jalan aspal (perkerasan lentur). Bahkan banyak, penggunaan struktur perkerasan kaku sebagai gantinya untuk mengatasi kegagalan struktur perkerasan lentur, di beberapa tempat, terutama di tempat-tempat di mana kondisi tanah pada dasarnya (tanah dasar) kondisi jelek, atau drainase. Beberapa proyek jalan yang menggunakan perkerasan jalan beton, skala besar, menggunakan peralatan konstruksi modern dengan tujuan untuk mencapai kualitas yang dibutuhkan, biaya lebih rendah dan waktu pelaksanaan yang lebih cepat. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan pada Perencanaan Jalan Beton Semen Portland Studi Kasus Peningkatan Jalan Way Sekampung - SP. Bakauheni. Dimana hasil perhitungan tebal perkerasan dalam hal daya dukung tanah menurut Analisis Terzaghi Mayerhof. Dari perhitungan perkerasan jalan beton yang telah dihitung dalam hal ketebalan dan pemuatan daya dukung tanah yang ada, ditemukan bahwa daya dukung tanah yang ada dapat mendukung beban yang ada pada area beban lapangan.

Abstract

The construction industry is one of the most dangerous industries in the world, due to its very high accident and death rate. As a high-risk construction industry, in addition to cost, time and quality, work safety will have a major impact on the success of a project. With the procedure safety properly, it is expected that work accidents will be reduced due to integrated work breakdown structure. The method used in this study is qualitative method, with research strategy in the form of archival analysis, case study, and expert validation. Data collection was conducted by interview method with questionnaires with professional experts who have long worked in the field of Safety, which then resulted in the conclusion that Standard Operational Procedures on Architectural work can reduce work accident.

Abstract

There is very little discussion about the needs of occupational health within the University area. In fact, the University is a place where interaction occurs not only for lecturers and students, but also employees, contractors and other visitors with very varied backgrounds and cultures. The lack of application of OHSMS in the construction sector in the University area causes a high number of work accidents. Making a safety plan at the initiation stage can reduce and prevent potential hazards that will occur. One of the methods can be used to reduce work accidents is by developing a safety plan using WBS (Work Breakdown Structure). This study aims to develop a WBS-based construction occupational safety and health plan for structural and architectural work buildings. This study develops a safety plan based on Regulation of Minister of PUPR No. 21 of 2019. This study uses literature study techniques for risk identification and questionnaires validation by experts with a minimum of 5 years experiences in OHS construction project. The result of this study is identification of hazards, impacts, prevention, OHS objective and programs. The results will be used for the development of a safety plan, intending to improve occupational safety and health performance and reduce occupational accidents in construction projects.

Abstract

Every construction is expected to run well and will be completed in accordance with the planning. Therefore, project quality control is needed. Project quality control is extremely useful for one-time development so that the building can achieve its predetermined quality and standards. The purpose of this study is to find out the quality control system of reinforced concrete of upper structures on Columns, Beams, and Plates and whether the quality results of the reinforced concrete structure can meet the specified requirements. The data used in this study were the results of concrete compressive strength tests and steel reinforcement tests that had been carried out in the laboratory. This research was needed to minimize delays and costs so as not to miss the predetermined quality and standards. This research used the AS/NZS 4360 calculation method in which the analysis was carried out by taking into account the level of risk of the probability that occurs and the impact on costs, where the quality applied must be in accordance with the RKS that has been set on the project, the calculation was carried out using Excel in accordance with the formula to determine the level of risk in each structural work. The data were collected by distributing the questionnaire to each individual where the questionnaire contained work items to be analyzed from the division. The calculation analysis has obtained the result of the risk level for each structural work, column work worth 5.20, beam work 5.97 and floor plate work worth 6.00 which means that the work of the structure has a moderate level of risk. Abstract

Peningkatan permasalahan lingkungan baik berupa masalah kebisingan maupun limbah padat organik dan anorganik memunculkan berbagai upaya untuk menanganinya. Di sisi lain terjadi peningkatan penggunaan komposit di segala bidang merupakan rekayasa bahan yang banyak dilakukan peneliti untuk mendapatkan bahan alternatif yang baru. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan papan komposit akustik berbahan dasar limbah organik dan anorganik memiliki kemampuan menyerap suara yang sama baik ditinjau dari parameter ketebalan. Pengujian dilakukan dengan mengukur tingkat kebisingan suara pada chamber sebelum dan setelah dipasang papan komposit. Nilai Loss diperoleh dengan mengurangkan tingkat suara yang masuk ke chamber sebelum media akustik dipasang dan suara yang diterima/dipantulkan setelah dipasang media akustik (papan komposit). Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh nilai koefisien penyerapan bunyi di semua variasi ketebalan spesimen komposit menghasilkan nilai yang baik pada frekuensi 125 Hz dan 500 Hz.

Abstract

Building Information Modeling (BIM) software commonly used in Indonesia to calculate cost estimates includes Autodesk Revit and Cubicost. Previous studies have shown significant differences comparing the estimated cost of structural work in Autodesk Revit with conventional methods. Further study is needed to compare Autodesk Revit with Cubicost in the same project, with the purpose of knowing the difference in the estimated cost of structural work. The object of this study was the Urban Homes Residential Apartment construction project by reviewing the upper structure. The chosen research strategy was in accordance with the case study objectives. The process begins with the preparating of the WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), designing the BIM 3D, calculating the estimated structural work cost resulting from quantity takeoff using work unit price analysis, and analyzing the estimated cost comparison between Cubicost and Revit BIM software. Based on the analysis results, the estimated cost of building structures using Cubicost is Rp 80,485,995,692, - and has differences of ±13.1% compared to using Revit.
