Abstract

Cerpen-cerpen anak memiliki pola khusus yang berbeda dari cerpen-cerpen orang dewasa pada umumnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pola cerita dalam cerpen-cerpen anak Indonesia dan relevansinya pada pembelajaran sastra di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik analisis isi yang ditopang oleh teori naratologi. Objek penelitian berupa dua antologi cerpen berjudul Misteri Kucing dalam Lukisan dan Pasukan Jumat Berbagi dengan total 20 judul cerita. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa pola cerita dalam cerpen-cerpen anak Indonesia memiliki sekuen lengkap, cenderung berpola kronologis, pencirian tokoh utama didominasi oleh penyebutan nama tokoh dan pendeskripsian secara tidak langsung, serta narator dihadirkan secara ekstradiagesis dan intradiagesis dengan menunjukkan sikap kedekatan terhadap tokoh-tokoh utamanya. Relevansi penelitian ini dalam pembelajaran sastra di SD adalah sebagai sumber belajar siswa untuk meningkatkan minat baca. Selain itu, pemahaman terhadap pola cerita dalam cerpen-cerpen anak akan membantu guru untuk memahami karakteristik peserta didiknya.

Abstract

The goal to be achieved in this study is to teacher’s perceptions of the certification program in enhancement pedagogical competence at Meruya Selatan 01 Elementary School Am. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were all teachers at Meruya Selatan 01 Elementary School am, totaling 25 teachers. Sampling was carried out using saturated sampling technique, in which the entire population was used as a sample. The data collection technique uses closed questionnaires. Data analysis in this study was carried out in a simple quantitative descriptive manner using intervals and percentages. The results showed that the majority of teachers' perceptions of the certification program were very good, obtained from 16 (64%) teachers who answered. In the implementation of pedagogic competence, there were 7 (28%) teachers doing it quite well. This is a pretty good discovery in the school environment, because it means that the teacher certification program pursued by the government with the aim of increasing competency is going quite well or there are still results, although not optimal. However, it should also be noted that teachers who have very good perceptions of the certification program do not always have very good pedagogical competence. In fact, from the results of the study, it was found that there were more teachers whose pedagogical competence was only in the fairly good category. This is also a note for teachers to be more creative in improving their competence.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the teacher's efforts in forming Pancasila Student Profiles for students in grades I and IV at SDN Tanjung Duren Selatan 01, and to find out what factors inhibited teachers during the process of forming Pancasila Student Profiles. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The research results obtained are: (1) Faith, piety to God Almighty and noble character. Carrying out the habit of praying Dhuha, morning services according to the elements of religious morality and morality to humans. (2) Global Diversity, by introducing ethnicity and culture in Indonesia according to elements of knowing and respecting culture and communication and interaction between cultures and social justice. (3) Work together, by picketing classes according to the moral elements of nature, collaborating, caring and sharing. (4) Independent, activities carried out by giving individual assignments according to self-regulation elements. (5) Critical Reasoning, by providing challenging questions or questions with the aim of students participating in their activities according to the elements of obtaining and processing information and ideas, and analyzing and evaluating reasoning and procedures. (6) Creative, activities carried out by giving students handicraft assignments by utilizing used items around them and holding P5 activities according to the elements of Generating original ideas and Producing original works and actions.

Abstract

The importance of instilling social attitudes among elementary school students has attracted the attention of researchers. Due to things that deviate from the social attitudes of the participants, such as there are students who come late to school, there are students who throw garbage carelessly, students do not do class pickets, students do not do homework, students cheat when doing school assignments, there are students students who are embarrassed to ask and there are students who are embarrassed to answer questions. This research aims to find out the teacher's efforts in instilling social attitudes in class VI students through learning the second theme, especially Social Studies and Civics lessons. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Cengkareng Timur 01 Pagi. The type of research used is qualitative using descriptive methods. The research subjects consisted of students, class VI teachers, and school principals. Researchers collect data by interviews, observation, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with class VI teachers and school principals. Observations were made to all students, informants by observing learning activities carried out at school. The results showed that not all of the students had good social attitudes. The teacher's efforts in instilling social attitudes in class VI students can be adjusted to the needs of students' social attitudes. There are eight social attitudes of students, namely (1) honest attitude, (2) discipline attitude, (3) responsibility attitude, (4) caring attitude towards the environment, (5) tolerance attitude, (6) mutual cooperation attitude, ( 7) polite attitude, and (8) confident attitude.

Abstract

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya guru dalam menerapkan pendidikan karakter disiplin pada masa pandemi di SDN Cibodas serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam menerapkan pendidikan karakter disiplin pada masa pandemi di SDN Cibodas 4. Metode: Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru kelas VA dan VB. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) guru di SDN Cibodas 4 berupaya dalam mengatasi penurunan karakter siswa yang berubah dengan melakukan kegiatan pembiasaan yaitu pembiasaan keteladanaan, pembiasaan rutin, spontan dan pengkondisian. (2) faktor pendukung dalam menerapkan karakter disiplin siswa yaitu kesadaran diri siswa, dukungan orang tua dan komunikasi yang terjalin antara guru dan orang tua. Faktor penghambat dalam menerapkan karakter disiplin siswa yaitu kurangnya kesadaran siswa, kurangnya komunikasi antara guru dan orang tua, fasilitas dan lingkungan. Kesimpulan: Terdapat beberapa upaya dan faktor pendukung dan penghambat guru dalam penerapan karakter disiplin siswa kelas V pada masa pandemi. Abstract

This study aims to describe how civic skills are strengthened through Citizenship Education in fostering student participation as citizens. This research is a mix method research with data collection by observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as distributing questionnaires. Participants in this study on qualitative data were lecturers and for quantitative data were 53 students who contracted Civics Learning courses in elementary schools in the Elementary School Teacher Education study program at Esa Unggul University. The results of this study indicate that lecturers provide strengthening of civics skills in Civics Learning courses in Elementary Schools through a project-based learning model, then open space at each meeting for students to be active in the learning process. The results of the analysis of quantitative data, strengthening civic skills through Citizenship Education in fostering student participation as citizens is successful. This can be seen from the survey with the results of Interacting with citizens of other countries to promote personal and shared interests with Agree totaling 91 points; Monitor public events and issues with Agree totaling 123 points; Deliberate and make decisions on public policy issues with Agreed totaling 108 points; Influencing policy decisions on public issues with Agree totaling 100 points; Carry out policy decisions on public issues with Agree totaling 113 points; Taking action to improve political and social life with Agree totals 97 points

Abstract

In the pursuit of enhancing students' and instructors' engagement in STEM education, this study integrates existing STEM courses into the Indonesian curriculum to tackle real-world issues. The primary objective is to address significant global problems aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the junior high school level. To achieve this, the current curriculum requirements for all three STEM subjects are interwoven. Document analysis, involving standard papers from three distinct STEM fields, curriculum maps for schools, and materials related to 'Continuing Development Education,' serves as the primary data collection method. This article outlines the planning process for after-school STEM education programs. It draws inspiration from the SDGs, presenting four design challenges that incorporate standards from three STEM domains. These challenges encompass fresh, interconnected concepts and skills. This description provides educators with a framework for creating lessons and STEM educational activities that fuse curricular requirements with existing STEM disciplines, catering to various levels and student settings.

Abstract

Mitra pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dipilih adalah SD Exiss ABATA di Kelurahan Srengseng. Pemilihan lokasi ini berdasarkan pertimbangan keberadaan sekolah berdekatan dengan kampus Universitas Esa Unggul, yang sama-sama masih dalam  wilayah Kota Jakarta Barat. Sebagai sekolah dasar unggul yang fokus kepada pembentukan manusia seutuhnya yang seimbang antara pola pikir, sikap mental dan pola tindak  sesuai dengan konsep pendidikan Islam berlandaskan Al-Qur’an dan hadits, perlu dibekali juga dengan kemampuan wirausaha. Tujuan untuk menanamkan motivasi dan membangun jiwa wirausaha sejak dini, agar dikemudian hari dapat membangun usaha dan menjadi pengusaha syariah Islami yang sukses pada bidangnya. Metode  pengabdian, menerapkan metode pelayanan kepada masyarakat berupa transfer pembelajaran dan kolaborasi. Pembelajaran motivasi usaha terintegrasi dengan mata palajaran, dan kolaborasi dengan guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat telah dilaksanakan pembelajaran   transformasi pengetahuan kewirausahaan dan keterampilan hidup (life skill) kepada anak-anak didik. Pembelajarannya dilakukan  secara berkolaborasi antara tim dosen abdimas dan guru kelas. Ada faktor yang menguntungkan, dimana salah seorang anggota dari tim dosen abdimas adalah sebagai guru SD di lokasi. Pembahasan hasil terkait substansi sejalan dengan Instruksi Presiden Nomor 24 Tahun 1995 tentang Gerakan Nasional Memasyarakat Membudayakan Kewirausahaan. Pendidikan kewirausahaan dapat terintegrasi dalam semua mata pelajaran, muatan lokal, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, pengembangan diri, kultur sekolah atau aturan-aturan yang dibuat oleh sekolah. Kata kunci : menanamkan motivasi, jiwa wirausaha, anak-anak sekolah dasar

Abstract

This research aims to describe the position of gender studies in the curriculum of civic education study programs in universities. This research was conducted at several universities that have civic education study programs. The research used a qualitative descriptive approach and data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation, while the data analysis technique used triangulation to obtain data validity. The results of the research found three things. First, the four universities that were the objects of this research developed curricula according to the provisions of the Ministry of Education and Culture. Second, there are explicitly no courses related to gender studies in the civic education curriculum at these universities. However, several lecturers try to bring gender issues into the learning process as a study case. Third, there are many challenges in integrating gender studies into the citizenship education curriculum, one of which is the expertise of civic education lecturers who cannot teach about gender. To overcome the challenges of integrating gender studies into the civic education curriculum, it is crucial to advocate for including gender studies to ensure comprehensive coverage of gender issues. This advocacy is a call to action for all involved in civic education. As well, developing strategies to integrate gender issues into existing courses through case studies, discussions, and projects can enrich the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the code mixing of student slang at universities in Indonesian language courses, especially Esa Unggul University. This type of qualitative research and descriptive method of analysis. The process of collecting basic and advanced technical data is insertion, intrusion, or insertion techniques. The data before being analyzed is verified first, then analyzed. Validation is done by triangulation technique through internal and external validation. The results found that many students use mixed language, especially writing. It is better for lecturers to give warnings both directly in class, and in writing through scientific writing, and provide intensive counseling so that the younger generation does not lose their national identity.
