Abstract

This study aims to evaluate and determine the level of partial productivity in the iron pipe production unit at CV. XYZ. The methods used in this study include Objective Matrix (OMAX), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with Five Whys Analysis and 5W + 1H (What, Where, When, Why and How) tools. The results of the study obtained an average value of partial productivity for raw materials of 93.54%, labor of 3,679 (stems/person/month), machine working hours of 225 (stems/hour/month), worker working hours of 222 (stems/hour/month), electrical energy of 69.58%, and defective products of 1.02%. Improvements to increase productivity levels are ensuring stakeholders carry out work based on SOPs, coordinating the arrival of raw ribbon materials according to the schedule and priority of completing raw material slithers between parties, creating intensive and regular training schedules for operators or employees, the production team needs to group production requests in a planned and organized manner so that it is necessary to add one new machine unit, creating daily to monthly electricity usage control cards, and providing incentives for workers who produce more than the target.

Abstract

Transaction management at Hijab Nafisa used to be done manually, causing errors in record keeping and periodic inventory checks, resulting in inefficient service. The author designed an information system using PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database. This paper described the analysis and design of a store management information system (point of sales) that has successfully facilitated the transaction process and inventory checks. After that, a system test was carried out and compared with the old method of manual and ineffective information transaction processes, resulting in a proposed system that facilitated the transaction process and inventory checks. Additionally, there was also ease in data reporting that could be printed out for easy reading.

Abstract

Market Share is frequently used to indicate market competitiveness to record how well and rapidly a company is developing compared to its rivals. Vitamin products are presently a popular item among many consumers. 73% of Indonesians consumed many supplements during the Covid-19 virus pandemic, according to a survey conducted by PT Neurosensum Technology International, a market research firm based on neuroscience and artificial intelligence (AI) technology. The survey covered 500 sample sizes and found that 94% of respondents consumed vitamin C during a pandemic. According to data from Top Brand, the top five products from 2018 to 2022 are Vitacimin, Enervon-C, You C1000, Redoxon, and Vicee. It is a well-known fact that Vitamin C's market share fluctuates wildly from year to year. This study employs the Markov Chain and SOAR techniques to generate some alternative marketing strategies. The results indicated that the prediction of the percentage of market share until equilibrium conditions were reached was obtained in the 28th period of March 2025, with Vitacimin at 41%, Enervon C at 13%, You C1000 at 23%, Redoxon at 11%, and Vicee at 12%. The Redoxon product was then analyzed using SOAR analysis, and eight alternative marketing strategies were developed.

Abstract

SRI Yogyakarta merupakan perusahaan merupakan perusahaan R&D yang berfokus dalam mengembangkan inovasi produk teknologi robotika dan industri 4.0. PT. SRI Yogyakarta mempunyai permasalahan yaitu ketidakteraturan, waktu pencarian alat meningkat, dan keterbatasan ruang penyimpanan yang dapat menyulitkan dan mengakibatkan kekacauan. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut dan dengan adanya konsep ”5S” dapat membantu PT. SRI Yogyakarta dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang ergonomis. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan adanya perubahan positif dalam organisasi tempat kerja, peningkatan ketertiban, kebersihan, serta pengurangan risiko cedera dan kelelahan kerja. Berdasarkan analisis diagram fishbone dan analisis 5W+1H, didapatkan saran penerapan konsep 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke) yaitu membangun kesadaran dan kedisiplinan karyawan, menata fasilitas dengan terorganisir, membuat jadwal pembersihan dan pemeliharaan secara rutin, dan menetapkan aturan dan standar operasional untuk meningkatkan produktivitas kerja dan kedisiplinan.

Abstract

Pekerjaan proyek memerlukan susunan rangkaian kegiatan yang sesuai agar tidak terjadi keterlambatan dalam pekerjaan yang mengakibatkan pertambahan biaya. PT. XYZ merupakan salah satu BUMNIS yang bergerak di industri galangan kapal yang merupakan suatu industri manufaktur tempat kapal dibangun, dikonstruksi atau dirakit. Selain itu PT. XYZ juga memberikan jasa perbaikan dan pemeliharaan kapal, serta rekayasa umum dengan spesifikasi tertentu berdasarkan kebutuhan klien. PT. XYZ dituntut untuk dapat melakukan produksi tepat waktu dan keterlambatan proses pengerjaan dapat menghambat kinerja produksi dan menambah waktu kerja. Dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut maka dilakukan penelitian penjadwalan pembuatan lambung Kapal Cepat Rudal dengan menggunakan CPM dengan harapan agar penyerahan kapal ke konsumen sesuai dengan target waktu yang telah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjadwalkan pembuatan kapal terutama bagian lambung kapal. Metode yang digunakan adalah Critical Path Method (CPM). Proses produksi lambung kapal yang dilakukan perusahaan membutuhkan waktu selama 101 hari dengan total biaya sebesar Rp 35.644.943.000,-. Pelaksanaan proyek berkurang menjadi 80 hari setelah dilakukan Crash Program dengan pengurangan waktu selama 21 hari dan total biaya sebesar Rp 35.229.389.000,- sehingga terjadi pengurangan biaya sebesar Rp 415.554.000,- dibandingkan biaya awal.

Abstract

PT X yang berlokasi di Kota Malang merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang industri pangan. Setiap harinya perusahaan tersebut memproduksi aneka jenis roti yang selanjutnya akan didistribusikan ke beberapa toko roti. Permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi PT X adalah masalah pendistribusian produk dimana sering terjadinya keterlambatan pada saat pendistribusian produk dikarenakan terbatasnya jumlah armada yang digunakan serta besarnya biaya yang harus dikeluarkan oleh perusahaan dalam hal pendistribusian produk. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan rute distribusi yang optimal sehingga dapat meminimumkan biaya distribusi dengan menggunakan Algoritma Clark And Wright Saving Heuristic. Perhitungan dengan Algoritma Clark And Wright Saving Heuristic diperoleh rute distribusi baru ke sejumlah outlet roti dengan total jarak tempuh rute 1, rute 2, dan rute 3 sebesar 74.9 km dan total biaya sebesar Rp. 57.300,- dalam sehari. Sehingga didapatkan penghematan jarak tempuh sebesar 21.3 km dan penghematan biaya sebesar Rp. 16.293,- dalam sehari.

Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan industri agribisnis yang bergerak dalam bidang jasa pen-golahan minyak mentah dengan kegiatan utamanya memproduksi minyak sawit. Menurut sumber perusahaan, masalah sering terjadi saat mengontrol bahan baku minyak sawit, terutama pada Bleaching Earth dan Phosphoric Acid. Dalam hal ini disebabkan kurangnya antisipasi perencanaan dan pemenuhan dengan jumlah permintaan konsumen. Karena penyesuaian permintaan konsumen yang tidak direncanakan dengan jelas, permintaan yang fluktuatif (probabilistik), waktu tunggu pesanan seringkali tidak teratur, dan persediaan tidak mencukupi, sehingga permintaan konsumen tidak terpenuhi bahkan mengalami kelebihan kapasitas persediaan diberbagai gudang penyim-panan. Tujuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan adalah untuk menentukan pengendalian persediaan bahan baku minyak sawit untuk meminimasi total biaya persediaan di perusahaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Continuous (Q) dan Periodic (P) Review. Hasil perhitungan diperoleh dengan total biaya persediaan minimum adalah dengan metode Continuous Review (Q) Lost Sales sebesar Rp .740.144.076 dengan metode perusahaan sebesar Rp. 764.998.500 sehingga penghema-tan biaya sebesar Rp. 24.854.424 dengan presentase penghematan biaya sebesar 4%. Jumlah pemesanan Bleaching Earth per pesan bulan April 2021-Maret 2020 sebesar 68 kg dan Phosphoric Acid per pesan bulan April 2021-Maret 2022 sebesar 36 ton dengan total biaya persediaan sebesar Rp. 790.430.247,-.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company that produces rims cars. One of the products produced is rims with ABC type. The production process carried out is make to order repetitive. PT. XYZ has a production capacity problem, causing an unfulfilled order. The production floor has a bottleneck work station at work stations 1 and 2. The accumulation occurs because of the standard time difference and the maximum capacity. This study uses the Theory of Constraints (TOC) method to deal with bottlenecked work stations. Calculating the maximum capacity of each work station results in work station s 1 and 2 having less capacity than the other work station. To solve the bottleneck problem at work stations 1 and 2, there are two alternative solutions, overtime and the addition of a work shift. After analyzing the existing problem, to solve bottlenecks at work station s 1 and 2, add the shift of work from 2 shifts to 3 shifts with an overtime of 1 hour per shift.

Abstract

PT INKA (Persero) is the first integrated train manufacturing company in Southeast Asia. One of the train products currently being worked on is a 612-car passenger train. However, in the production process defects are often found. The end wall component produces the highest defects with a defect percentage of 10.8%. This research uses the Quality Control Circle method and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis at PT INKA (Persero) to determine the level of defects and provide suggestions for improvement. The results of the research show that the percentage level of end wall defects is end wall flatness exceeding tolerance (38%), wavy end walls (33%), and end wall scratches (29%). Recommendations for improvement given are based on the five highest RPN values, namely supervision and pressure of the welder during briefings to regulate and maintain the stability of the amperage and voltmeter according to the WPS used, making a routine schedule to monitor the performance of the welder and the welding process, providing manual procedures or guidelines that are easy to understand. and accessed by the welder, the use of auxiliary tools such as jigs (fasteners) and fixtures (holding devices), and providing sufficient rest time and making the system appreciated or recognized for good performance.

Abstract

CV. Serba Jaya Oke is a manufacturing company engaged in the production of plastic household appliances. In its operations, the company experienced difficulties in achieving production targets. This research was conducted to analyze the productivity of production units from January to December 2023 to understand partial productivity levels and develop recommendations for improvement. The methods in this research are objective matrix (OMAX), analytical hierarchy process (AHP), traffic light system, fishbone diagram, and 5W+1H. From this research, it is known that the highest productivity index value was in August 2023, namely 311,2%, while the lowest value occurred in December 2023 with a productivity index of -82,9%. Suggestions for improvement were given to the five productivity measurement criteria because these criteria had poor scores in certain periods. By applying this method, companies can increase partial productivity and identify triggers for decreased productivity in certain periods.
