Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui model pendidikan dan pembelajaran karakter anak usia dini dengan setting pembelajaran di institusi pondok pesantren. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus kualitatif, & menggunakan teknik analisis model Miles & Hubberman. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Raudlotul Athfal (RA) Al Hikam di Pondok Pesantren (Ponpes) Al Hikam, Kota Malang. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, model pembelajaran karakter anak usia dini yaitu dengan cara (1) pembiasaan oleh guru & (2) imitasi dari santri di lingkungan sekolah. Sedangkan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi model pendidikan dan pembelajaran karakter anak usia dini di lingkungan ponpes adalah: (1) karakter pondok pesantren, (2) integritas dan komitmen orangtua murid, (3) keteladanan guru-guru RA. Kata Kunci: karakter, pesantren, kiai Abstract: This study was conducted to determine the education models of early childhood learning character in boarding school (pesantren) setting. This study uses a qualitative case study, and using Miles & Hubberman model for techniques analysis. This research was conducted in Raudlotul (RA) Al Hikam boarding school (pesantren) Al Hikam, Malang. Based on the research, learning model for early childhood character is by (1) habituation by teachers and (2) imitation of students (santri) in the school environment. Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan dengan membekali mahasiswa soft skill maupun hard skill yang dibutuhkan oleh dunia kerja. Pengembangan kurikulum Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka di Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Universitas PGRI Kanjuruhan Malang dengan berbasis individual differences diharapkan mahasiswa dapat memahami karakter dan keberagaman peserta didik sebagai dasar untuk mampu berperan sebagai tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan, konsultan bidang PAUD serta teacherpreneur. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian adalah 123 mahasiswa dari Angkatan 2017-2021, dan 16 dosen yang mengajar di Prodi PG-PAUD. Tahapan pelaksanaan penelitian meliputi: Focus group discussion, lokakarya, pembuatan instrumen, survey lapangan, pengolahan dan analisis data, seminar hasil/sosialisasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 3 minggu di Universitas PGRI Kanjuruhan Malang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang memuat aspek strategi implementasi kurikulum, yaitu: perencanaan, dokumen kurikulm, SDM, administrasi, sarana prasarana, dan iklim budaya. Hasil uji validasi yang dilakukan terhadap 30 item, didapatkan 27 item valid, dan 3 item tidak valid, maka tim peneliti memutuskan untuk menggunakan 27 item yang valid untuk proses pengambilan data. Hasil reliabilitas menunjukkan 0,758 yang dapat dikategorikan bahwa angket yang disebarkan reliable untuk menggambarkan strategi implementasi kurikulum

Abstract

Parenting is the way parents to educated their children. Each parent has different educational habits. Parenting patterns applied by parents in a family also vary, it is strongly influenced by how parents want to treat their children. In general, there are 3 parenting patterns, namely: authoritative, permissive, and democratic. When parents agree to apply the pattern of parenting that is considered the most ideal for their children, then the pattern of  parenting that will apply the pattern of personality and habits within the child. In carrying out the parenting process of a parent child can provide an opportunity for the child to serve his needs on the simple side of things, as: when a one-year-old child begins to learn to hold a spoon and feed the food into his mouth by himself, in the supervision of his parents. Autonomy must be nurtured from an early age, and it is expected that autonomy can develop within the child. In developing the pattern of self-awareness in early childhood, as stated by Havinghurst that within a child there is an ability to make arrangements fortheir  emotion that is nothing but the ability to perform emotional regulation. In this study, researchers want to know how much influence of adopted parenting by the elderly on independence and emotional regulatory ability in early childhood. The design used in this study is quantitative, by developing 3 kinds of scale instruments, namely: the scale of parenting, the scale of autonomy, and the scale of emotional regulation. The scale is used to measure each of the variables present in this research. The result of hypothesis test using anova formula, with the help of SPSS.17, shows a significance value of 0.002 with a significance level of 0.05 (95%), indicating that there is a significant influence of parenting pattern on the independence and emotional regulation ability of the child early.

Abstract

Responsibility is part of the social emotional aspect that must be accustomed to early on with the aim of children being able to consistently be responsible both to themselves and to others, including being able to urinate independently, be patient waiting their turn and have a tolerant attitude so that they can work in groups. The previous habit is by inviting the child to be responsible when the teacher reminds and invites the child to be responsible and when the teacher does not remind the child is not responsible for their obligation. The next habituation is by giving children meaningful learning in which children will be given more meaningful learning and children not only doing activities but also understanding every activity carried out so that children’s responsibilities become better. This research was conducted using quantitative research with experimental methods and one group pre-test post-test design. Data collection techniques used observation, tests and documentation, then the data went through several tests, including validity, reliability, normality an hypothesis testing with the help of the SPSS.22 application.

Abstract

Perkembangan bahasa adalah salah satu aspek yang harus dikembangkan didalam diri anak usia dini. Perkembangan bahasa sangat penting dan menunjang setiap aspek didalam diri anak usia dini. Perkembangan bahasa mencakup kemampuan yang terkait dengan keaksaraan. Kemampuan keaksaraan meliputi beberapa indikator, yaitu: 1) Memahami aturan dalam suatu permainan, 2) Menyebutkan kelompok gambar yang memiliki bunyi yang sama, 3) Menyusun kalimat sederhana dalam struktur lengkap, dan 4) Menyebutkan kelompok gambar yang memiliki bunyi atau huruf awal yang sama. Upaya mengembangkan kemampuan bahasa pada anak usia dini perlu adanya kegiatan yang dapat memberikan stimulasi, yang menarik dan efektif bagi anak usia dini. Kehidupan anak usia dini tidak terlepas dari kegiatan bermain, maka pengabdi merancang sebuah kegiatan bermain didalam setting outbound, yang meliputi 3 macam permainan, yaitu: bisik berantai, bola berkata, dan holahoop. Kegiatan outbound diimplementasikan bagi anak TK B di TK ABBA 8 Kepanjen.

Abstract

Sex education in Indonesia is still a controversy, there are still many community members who have not agreed on sex education at home or at school. In general, the public view of sex education is considered "taboo" to talk about children, especially children of early age. the community often holds that it is not yet time for children of early age to understand about things related to sexuality. People assume that there is a time they will understand it naturally. that sex education from an early age is an effort to provide understanding to children from an early age adapted to their developmental stages (cognitive, attitude, and behavioral aspects) about the functioning of sexual devices and instinctive problems that arise, guidance on the importance of maintaining and maintaining their sex organs, and understanding of healthy intercourse and the risks that can occur around sexual problems. It takes concrete understanding in kindergarten teachers about how to implement sex education in early childhood at school. Understanding the importance of sex education in early childhood is provided in the workshop area, where teachers will have understanding and skills in implementing sex education in early childhood in accordance with the development within the child. Teachers are able to create a daily learning plan that contains sex education in it. It is hoped that the implementation of sex education in early childhood at school can help prevent children from sexual violence.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian luar negeri dalam bentuk Psikoedukasi Mencintai Indonesia berupa Pengembangan Karakter dan Moral Pancasila bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman anak-anak pekerja migran di Malaysia mengenai identitas kebangsaan Indonesia dan nilai-nilai moral Pancasila. Anak-anak pekerja migran sering menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti kurangnya pendampingan orang tua karena kesibukan bekerja, keterbatasan akses terhadap pendidikan formal, serta keterasingan dari budaya dan identitas kebangsaan mereka. Selain itu, anak-anak ini sering mengalami tekanan emosional dan stigma sosial di lingkungan tempat tinggal mereka. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan memberikan psikoedukasi melalui pelatihan tatap muka, permainan edukatif, dan penayangan film pendek tentang Indonesia. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan rasa cinta tanah air, memperkuat identitas nasional, dan meningkatkan implementasi nilai-nilai moral Pancasila. Hasil uji perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada implementasi moral Pancasila dengan nilai P sebesar 0.017 dan z sebesar 2.379.

Abstract

Teachers need to implement more innovative and interactive learning methods that align with the learning characteristics of early childhood, especially in introducing hijaiyah letters to young learners. This study aims to explore the use of a Wordwall-based hijaiyah game in introducing hijaiyah letters to early childhood students at KB Agung Kencana, Singosari District. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which includes the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection, conducted in two cycles. The subjects of the study were 11 group A students at KB Agung Kencana. The results showed that the use of Wordwall media increased children’s participation, focus, and learning motivation. Learning outcomes improved progressively, from 55% in the pre-cycle phase to 92% at the end of the second cycle. This media not only made learning more engaging but also helped children recognize, point to, and pronounce hijaiyah letters more actively and enjoyably. Abstract

The development of fine motor skills in early childhood tends to progress more slowly than gross motor skills, thus requiring continuous stimulation to reach optimal growth. Children with well-developed fine motor skills generally perform better in academic areas such as writing and arithmetic. This study aims to examine the implementation of a tempe-based cooking class activity in improving the fine motor skills of children aged 5–6 years at KB Agung Kencana Randuagung Singosari, involving 20 students as subjects. The research employed the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method using the spiral model by Kemmis and McTaggart, consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages carried out over two cycles. The researcher acted as a facilitator and active observer, collaborating with the teacher. The observed indicators of fine motor skills included the children's ability to grate, squeeze, mix, and shape tempe dough. The results showed a significant improvement from an average of 54% in the pre-cycle stage to 91% by the end of the second cycle. This demonstrates that cooking classes using local ingredients such as tempe not only provide enjoyable learning experiences but are also effective in enhancing children’s manipulative skills. Future research is recommended to explore other local materials as learning media to support various aspects of early childhood development. Abstract

Language development is one of the important aspects in supporting the child's development process. Children with good language development according to their age will avoid speech delays. The use of Flashcard media as one of the effective ways to improve the language skills of children who experience Speech Delay at preschool age. This study aims to describe how the use of Flashcard media can improve the language skills of children aged 3-4 years at KB Permata Bunda. This study applies data collection techniques through interviews, observations and documentation. The type of research used is qualitative research with classroom action research methods. Data validity checks were carried out using Patton triangulation which emphasizes the interactive and continuous data analysis process during the study. The location of the study was at KB Permata Bunda with 2 boys aged 3-4 years as research subjects. Data collection by providing interventions before and after the use of Flashcard media in children with Speech Delay. Data analysis in this study used Miles & Huberman. The results of the study showed that the use of Flashcard media can improve speaking skills with increased vocabulary, receptive and expressive language understanding after the use of a Flashcard media.
