Abstract

Life satisfaction reflects an individual's subjective well-being, influenced by health, social support, economy and culture. For older women in Lampung, culture plays a key role in shaping their life experiences, particularly in family relationships and the role as custodians of tradition. Lampung culture, with its Pepadun and Saibatin customary systems, emphasizes the value of collectivity, respect for age, and the role of close-knit families. However, modernization and urbanization have led to social changes that have shifted the social roles of older women, limited economic access, and decision-making. This study aims to analyze the influence of Lampung culture on the life satisfaction of elderly women, focusing on compassion, acceptance of change, and life achievement. This study used a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods to analyze the influence of Lampung culture on the life satisfaction of elderly women, focusing on affection, acceptance of change, and life achievement. The results showed that family support is very important in increasing life satisfaction. All three research subjects felt satisfied with their lives thanks to family affection, despite facing physical and social challenges. They also felt proud of their achievements, especially in maintaining traditions and raising children. Overall, Lampung culture, with values such as Piil Pesenggiri, provides a strong foundation for the psychological well-being of older women. Family support and acceptance of social change are important factors in improving the life satisfaction of older women in Lampung.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of early childhood education (PAUD) teachers in applying gradient coloring techniques as a strategy to support children's fine motor development. The training was conducted through three main stages: delivery of material on the importance of fine motor stimulation through art activities, participatory discussions, and hands-on practice in gradient coloring techniques. Evaluation was carried out using pre-test and post-test instruments to measure the improvement in participants’ competencies. The results showed a significant increase in understanding and skill levels. The percentage of participants classified as "excellent" increased from 0% to 40%, those in the "good" category rose from 34% to 40%, and 20% were categorized as "sufficient". No participants were classified as "poor" or "very poor". These findings indicate that training in gradient coloring techniques is effective in enhancing the capacity of ECE teachers to provide creative and enjoyable fine motor stimulation for young children.

Abstract

A The phenomenon of adolescents lacking independence has attracted the attention of many parties, particularly within the school and family environments. For instance, many teachers and parents report that junior high school students still rely on their parents for simple matters, such as preparing school supplies, arranging study schedules, and even choosing extracurricular activities. On the other hand, there are also adolescents who demonstrate a high level of independence because they are accustomed to making their own decisions at home. This research uses a quantitative method with purposive sampling as the sampling technique. The subjects involved in this study consist of 100 early adolescents from Bandar Lampung. The reliability of the independence scale was 0.781 and the parental bonding scale was 0.725. This is shown by the correlation coefficient value of R = 0.347 and R² = 0.120, with a significance level of p < .001.

Abstract

Remaja yang tidak mampu mengatasi masalah cenderung mengalami emosi negatif yang berujung pada perilaku menyakiti diri sendiri (self-harm). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh otoriter dan kesepian dengan kecenderungan perilaku self-harm pada remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel 46 remaja berusia 15–20 tahun yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari skala pola asuh otoriter (α = 0,889), UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3 (α = 0,924), dan Self-Harm Inventory versi Indonesia (α = 0,902). Analisis data menggunakan regresi berganda dengan bantuan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pola asuh otoriter dan kesepian dengan kecenderungan perilaku self-harm (R = 0,504; F = 7,329; p = 0,002). Secara parsial, pola asuh otoriter berhubungan positif signifikan dengan kecenderungan self-harm (r = 0,498; p = 0,000), dan kesepian juga berhubungan signifikan (r = 0,370; p = 0,011). Kontribusi efektif pola asuh otoriter sebesar 21,7% dan kesepian sebesar 3,7%, sehingga total sumbangan keduanya adalah 25,4%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh otoriter lebih dominan memengaruhi kecenderungan self-harm dibandingkan kesepian.

Abstract

Parenting styles play a crucial role in children’s language development; however, in practice, many parents still apply permissive parenting, which may contribute to the occurrence of speech delay. A lack of supervision, clear boundaries, and consistent communication stimulation can hinder the optimal development of children’s language abilities. This study aims to describe permissive parenting styles among parents of children experiencing speech delay. The research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. The research subjects were parents of children with speech delay, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings indicate that parenting styles across all subjects were predominantly permissive, particularly the permissive indifferent type, characterized by minimal parental involvement, supervision, and control, as well as a tendency to allow children to act without clear guidance. In addition, permissive indulgent parenting was also identified, marked by emotional involvement and fulfillment of children’s desires without consistent limits. These conditions result in insufficient and ineffective communication stimulation for children. This study highlights the importance of active parental involvement and the implementation of more structured and responsive parenting practices to support optimal language development in children.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi psikologis ibu bekerja yang sebagai single parent dan mengalami parental burnout. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, melibatkan tiga subjek ibu bekerja berusia 30–45 tahun di Lampung Selatan, yang memiliki 2–3 anak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dan observasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan bantuan perangkat lunak Nvivo 15 dengan validasi triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa parental burnout pada ibu bekerja yang menjadi single parent tercermin dalam tiga aspek utama: kelelahan fisik, emosional, dan mental. Kelelahan fisik disebabkan oleh padatnya aktivitas tanpa jeda, kelelahan emosional muncul dari rasa bersalah dan kurangnya dukungan sosial, sedangkan kelelahan mental ditandai oleh kesulitan konsentrasi dan kecemasan terhadap masa depan anak. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa peran ganda yang dijalani oleh ibu single parent secara signifikan meningkatkan risiko parental burnout, sehingga dibutuhkan intervensi berupa dukungan sosial, manajemen stres, dan strategi coping yang efektif untuk mendukung kesejahteraan psikologis mereka. Kata Kunci: Ibu Bekerja, Parental Burnout, Single Parent.    Abstract                    This study aims to explore the psychological profile of working mothers who hold dual roles as single parents and experience parental burnout. A qualitative phenomenological approach was employed, involving three working mothers aged 30–45 years from South Lampung, each raising 2–3 children. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews and anecdotal observations, with analysis supported by Nvivo 15 software and validated through source triangulation. The findings reveal that parental burnout among single-parent working mothers manifests in three main aspects: physical exhaustion due to relentless daily activities, emotional fatigue stemming from guilt and lack of social support, and mental exhaustion marked by difficulties in concentration and heightened anxiety about their children's future. The study concludes that the dual role significantly increases the risk of parental burnout among single-parent working mothers, highlighting the urgent need for interventions such as social support, stress management, and effective coping strategies to promote their psychological well-being. Keywords: Working Mothers, Parental Burnout, Single Parent.

Abstract

This study aims to describe adult attachment styles among wives who experience long distance marriage (LDM) with husbands working as migrant workers. This research employed a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Participants were selected purposively, consisting of married women who had experienced LDM for at least three months and were in early to middle adulthood. Data were collected through in-depth interviews. The findings indicate that secure attachment is the most dominant attachment style among participants. However, anxious attachment emerged situationally in response to communication barriers, physical distance, and relational uncertainty, while avoidant attachment appeared in the lowest proportion. These results suggest that wives in long distance marriages generally possess a relatively secure attachment foundation and demonstrate emotional adaptability in maintaining marital relationships despite physical separation.

Abstract

Achieving this goal, humans continue to innovate in making assistive devices to carry out teaching and learning activities, where one of them is making a learning medium. The pandemic period that occurred in 2020 made learning carried out online so that online learning platforms or media became very important to mastered and implemented by both teachers and students. Learning media using virtual reality (VR) is an alternative solution to offer new and fun learning practices for students. VR brings interesting videos/images with adjustable time duration. This article uses a literature study approach, by collecting various materials and information, then the analysis made based on the documentation and reflections that have been compiled. The use of VR encourages learning media innovations that are different from before to increase participation and students' critical thinking perspectives and to bring students closer to VR technology. Abstract

Abstract: Realizing social happiness and harmony in inter-religious relations from a broad perspective. Every religious human being always learns to gain solemnity and understanding in the religious life that is carried out. This article explores qualitative research using an ethnographic approach in one activity space with a homogeneous component of respondents. The aim of the research is to find the relationship of solidarity and synergy among young people of different religions in Beneran Indonesia's volunteer activities. The research respondents were the founders of the Beneran Indonesia Foundation and the participating volunteers. Data and information were collected from observations, interview results, and supporting documents which were then analyzed and interpreted using the available data. The results of the study show that spiritual causality (reciprocity of an activity) is supported by openness of individual attitudes, responsibility, willingness to work together in developing inter-religious harmony facilitated by meeting rooms or meetings of young people, so that each individual has an answer. causality in the values of life. The participation of students and volunteers in the Beneran Indonesia program is the essence of encounters from different religious, cultural and habitual backgrounds, so that the values of self-perception and individual self-position can be seen and at the same time provide answers for oneself to behave and interact to strengthen social order. community harmony. Positive causality is demonstrated by activities, communication, solidarity, and tolerance raised by volunteers and participants who take part in Beneran Indonesia activities.Keywords: Experience, Religious, Spiritual causality, Young people Abstrak: Mewujudkan kebahagiaan dan keharmonisan sosial masyarakat dalam hubungan antar umat beragama dilihat dari perspektif yang luas. Setiap manusia umat beragama selalu belajar untuk mendapatkan kekhidmatan dan pemahaman dalam hidup keagamaan yang dijalankan. Artikel ini dieksplorasi dari penelitian secara kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi dalam satu ruang kegiatan dengan komponen responden yang homogen. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menemukan hubungan solidaritas dan sinergi anak-anak muda yang berbeda agama dalam aktivitas volunteer Beneran Indonesia. Responden penelitian adalah pendiri Yayasan Beneran Indonesia dan para volunteer yang berpartisipasi. Data dan informasi dikumpulkan dari observasi, hasil wawancara, dan dokumen pendukung yang kemudian dianalisis dan diinterpretasikan dengan data yang tersedia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kasusalitas (hubungan timbal balik dari sebuah aktivitas) spiritual didukung oleh keterbukaan sikap individu, bertanggung jawab, mau bekerja sama dalam mengembangkan kerukunan antar umat beragama dengan difasilitasi ruang bertemu atau pertemuan anak-anak muda, sehingga setiap diri individu mempunyai jawaban atas kausalitas dalam nilai-nilai kehidupan. Partisipasi siswa dan volunteer dalam program Beneran Indonesia merupakan esensi perjumpaan dari latar belakang agama, budaya, dan kebiasaan yang berbeda-beda, sehingga nilai persepsi diri dan posisi diri individu dapat terlihat dan sekaligus memberikan jawaban terhadap diri sendiri untuk berperilaku dan berinteraksi untuk memperkuat tatanan sosial harmoni masyarakat. Kausalitas secara positif ditunjukkan dengan aktivitas, komunikasi, solidaritas, serta toleransi yang dimunculkan oleh volunteer dan peserta yang ikut serta dalam kegiatan Beneran Indonesia.Kata kunci: Anak-anak muda, Kausalitas spiritual, Keagamaan, Pengalaman
