Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile of the motivation for learning science while studying at the homes of class VIII students of SMPN SATAP Taga Laga Buru in lesson 2020/2021. This type of research is descriptive research. The population in this research were all students of class VIII SMPN SATAP Taga Laga Buru, amounting to 36 students, and the sample of this study was 36 students who were obtained by saturated sampling technique. Furthermore, the data collection technique used non-test techniques, namely questionnaires. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the development of the science learning motivation profile while studying at home of the VIII grade students of SMPN SATAP Taga Laga Buru experienced highly motivated (44.44%), motivated (47.23%), moderately motivated (8.33%) less motivated and unmotivated development. motivated (0%). This shows that the profile of motivation to learn Science is quite good. medium.

Abstract

Independent study is necessary for students, particularly when they are studying online. Due to the minimal contact between lecturers and students in online learning, particularly in science, students must study independently. The significance of individual learning during the CoVD-09 epidemic provides the context for this study. This research intends to identify the profile of junior high school students' independence in scientific learning throughout the academic year 2021-2022. This research is descriptive. This study's population consisted of 116 pupils enrolled in the eighth grade of junior high school. The sample for this research consisted of 37 eighth-grade SMP students selected using a simple random selection procedure. Furthermore, the data gathering approach employed a non-test technique, namely a questionnaire. The analysis of data was conducted using descriptive statistics. The findings indicated that the general average of pupils' freedom in learning was classified as very independent (81%). In addition, 14 students are in the very independent category, which is equal to (40%), 12 students are in the independent category, which is equal to (34%), and seven students are in the fairly independent category, which is equal to (20%), four students are in the less independent category that is equal to (12.9%), and no one is categorized as very less independent than 37 students. This shows that most class VIII students are very independent in their learning.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the impact of emotional intelligence on students' physics learning achievement. Eighty-three students were taken randomly to measure their emotional intelligence. A questionnaire that measured emotional intelligence and learning achievement was obtained through school documentation. The data were analyzed using simple regression. The findings show that empathy is the aspect of emotional intelligence that gets the highest score. The regression results show Fcount (25.87) > Ftable (3.96). The findings of this research reveal that there is an influence of emotional intelligence on students' physics learning achievement. Emotional intelligence is a factor in a student's ability to learn and succeed in physics.

Abstract

Ketergantungan akan penggunaan bahan bakar fosil yang terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun telah mengubah pola pikir manusia untuk mengembangkan riset terkait energi alternatif terbarukan. Bioetanol yang berasal dari hasil fermentasi nira tanaman aren (Arenga pinnata MERR) dan dikenal sebagai minuman tradisional Moke di Flores dapat diaplikasikan sebagai bahan bakar alternatif jika memiliki kemurnian di atas 99,5%. Proses adsorpsi merupakan salah satu metode yang dilakukan untuk menghasilkan bioetanol dengan kadar di atas titik azeotrop. Adsorben yang efektif digunakan sebagai molecular sieve adalah zeolit alam yang berasal dari kabupaten Ende – NTT. Peningkatan efisiensi penyerapan zeolit alam dalam pemurnian bioetanol berbahan baku Moke sudah dilakukan melalui proses aktivasi fisika dan aktivasi kimia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar dan kualitas bioetanol setelah pemurnian menggunakan adsorben zeolit alam Ende – NTT yang telah diaktivasi NaOH pada. Kadar bioetanol yang terdapat pada Moke sebelum dan sesudah proses adsorpsi ditentukan dengan instrumen gas kromatografi, karakterisasi zeolit alam menggunakan X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) dan Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Zeolit alam Ende dapat digunakan sebagai adsorben dalam meningkatkan kadar bioetanol berbahan baku Moke.

Abstract

Keselamatan kimia adalah sebuah upaya dalam menciptakan kondisi aman dari pada bahaya dan resiko bahan kimia berbahaya keselamatan ini meliputi pengunaan bahan kimia sifat bahan kimia dan penyimpanan bahan kimia untuk tujuan mengetahui bahaya fisik kesehatan maupun lingkungan sehingga dapat mengambil perlindungan dan pencegahan dari bahaya kimia dengan menerapkan pengendalian administrasi, dan pengunaan alat pelindung diri. PT. Feedback Infra Balikpapan yang berada di kota balikpapan provinsi kalimantan timur adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang kontraktor jasa industri pembangkit listrik tenaga uap (PLTU). PT. Feedback Infra Balikpapan mengoperasikan unit pengelolahan air boiler tempat dimana bahan kimia amonia (NH3) diimplementasikan dan disimpan. Pada area implementasi amonia (NH3) ada pada laboratorium uji dan doshing injeksi kimia lalu untuk penyimpanan amonia (NH3) ada pada gudang penyimpanan kimia. Pada penelitian ini peneliti membahas mengenai implementasi dan penyimpanan bahan kimia amonia (NH3) di pengelolahan air boiler PT. Feedback Infra Balikpapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dimana peneliti menggunakan lembar checklist mengenai kesesuaian implementasi dan penyimpanan bahan kimia amonia (NH3) dan pedoman wawancara untuk melakukan wawancara terhadap informan yang bertannggung jawab mengenai implementasi dan penyimpanan bahan kimia amonia (NH3). Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa kesesuaian untuk implementasi bahan kimia amonia (NH3) di laboratorium uji 50%, kesesuaian untuk penyimpanan bahan kimia amonia (NH3) di gudang penyimpanan kimia 66% kesesuaian untuk implementasi bahan kimia amonia (NH3) di doshing injeksi kimia 66% dengan total kesesuaian implementasi dan penyimpanan bahan kimia amonia (NH3) di pengelolahan air boiler PT. Feedback Infra sebesar 66% dengan kategori “cukup’.

Abstract

Fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan khususnya rumah sakit di mana terdapat instansi non medik yang berkaitan dengan bahaya pada instalasi laundry diantaranya bahaya infeksius, bahaya kimia,  fisika, biologi dan lain-lain, yang berisiko  lebih rentan  terhadap kesehatan para pekerja ataupun masyarakat yang berada diarea rumah sakit tersebut. Dalam  proses pekerjaan di laundry ada berbagai macam faktor bahaya salah satunya adalah bahaya bahan kimia yang diakibatkan oleh deterjen untuk pencucian linen  infeksius dan non infeksius. Kurangnya pemahaman tentang potensi bahaya pada proses pekerjaan di instalasi laundry akan menimbulkan risiko penyakit yang berdampak pada kesehatan karyawan laundry, jika tidak adanya pengendalian dalam penggunaan bahan kimia tersebut. Pengaruh bahan  kimia  tersebut juga dapat menimbulkan kebakaran, ledakan, keracunan,dan iritasi pada permukaan  tubuh manusia serta risiko-risiko lain yang membahayakan. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya pemahaman dan kesadaran  yang lebih pada pekerja laundry tersebut mengenai dampak dari pemakaian bahan kimia laundry tersebut guna menimalisir risiko penyakit akibat dari bahan kimia tersebut.

Abstract

The low student learning outcomes are also because many students are less active in asking questions, student activities are still passive and only centered on the teacher. Mangrove forest is a place that can be used as a source of student learning. Field trips to mangrove forests are a form of learning that can help strengthen students' knowledge. The research aims to test field trips to mangrove forests on student learning outcomes. Experimental study without a control class on 20 students of SMA Mangipanda in Ende. Learning achievement tests are used to collect data. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon test. The findings show that the sig. < 0.05. This finding indicates that the field trip method to the mangrove forest has an effect on the learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri Magepanda.

Abstract

Tiwutewa Village, about 16 km east of Ende City, has several objects that have the potential as cultural heritage. The purpose of this activity is to record objects that are suspected to have the potential to be cultural heritage objects. The method used is library research, observation and interviews. The results obtained, there are three objects that are suspected of being cultural heritage objects, namely: Tubumusu Oranata, Keda and Traditional Houses. These three objects are located precisely in the village of Kurumboro. In appearance the condition of these three objects is still well maintained because of the presence of the Mosalaki who have the task of guarding these sites. In addition, every year there are always traditional rituals centered on the three sites.

Abstract

Artikel ini adalah hasil pengabdian pada masyarakat tentang pengembangan fasilitas pendukung wisata di desa Pemo yang merupakan desa penyangga pada Taman Nasional Kelimutu. Berdasarkan hasil survey Potensi wisata alam bisa diberdayakan melalui pembangunan gardu pandang multifungsi. Desain gardu pandang multifungsi ini didasarkan pada kearifan lokal setempat dan ramah lingkungan. Hasil desain pengembangan fasilitas wisata ini disetujui masyarakat desa pemo dengan menyerahkan lahan untuk pembangunan gardu pandang dan pelaksananya dari  CV Putra Timor raya.
