Abstract

Arduino uno/microcontroller can be applied in the world of education, one of which is used as material for the development of digital practicum tools. This research aims to; (1) develop a physics practicum tool in the mechanics course, namely the material for the law of conservation of momentum which is developed based on Arduino uno; (2) to find out how to design more precise practicum tools; (3) knowing the feasibility of the momentum conservation law practicum tool developed. This research is an ADDIE research which involves the stages of model development with five steps/development phases including: analysis, design, development or production, implementation and evaluation. Research data were collected using a validation questionnaire sheet, user response questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study are; (1) produce a product in the form of a physics practicum tool on the material of the law of conservation of momentum based on Arduino uno with an ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04; (2) the precision/precision of the practicum tool that has been developed has an accuracy value of 0.178 kg m/s; (3) the feasibility of the product of physics practicum tools on the material of the law of conservation of momentum based on Arduino uno with the ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 as a whole is categorized as very feasible to use, namely getting a percentage value of 86% according to media experts, 91% according to material experts and 90% according to media experts. students/users and practicum tools developed are categorized as very suitable for use in practical activities. The product resulting from this research is a practical tool for the law of conservation of momentum based on Arduino uno using an ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04. In this development, it is not only practicum tools, the practicum tools developed are equipped with user manuals and practicum guides that function to make it easier for users to carry out practical activities.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the effect of using interactive 3D Emodules on learning outcomes on sound wave material for class IX MA Muhammadiyah Metro for the 2021-2022 academic year. This research used a quantitative approach with a type of quasi-experimental research using Non Equivalent Control Group. The data collection technique used the written test method. The test instrument used was a multiple choice test in the form of a posttest which amounted to 10 multiple choice questions. The population in this study were all 9th grade students of MA Muhammadiyah Metro. The target of this study were students of class XI Al-Hikmah as many as 20 people as an experimental class and class XI An-Nahl as many as 19 people as a control class. Sampling technique was by means of non probability sampling technique. The hypothesis test used was Independent Sample T-test and N-gain score test, which previously tested the prerequisites of normality and homogeneity. The results showed that: (1) based on the results of the Independent Sample T-test test, the Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.032, so it can be concluded that there was a significant effect of using interactive 3D E-modules on learning outcomes in sound wave material of class IX MA Muhammadiyah Metro students, (2) based on the results of the N-gain score test calculation above, it showed that the average value of the N-gain score for the experimental class (Interactive 3D E-Module) was 0.54 including in the medium or quite effective category. While the N-gain score for the control class (Conventional LKS) is 0.30 including in the low or ineffective category.

Abstract

Abstrak: Keberhasilan pembelajaran merupakan harapan dari pelaksanaan pendidikan. Salah satu kunci keberhasilan ada pada profesionalisme yang dimiliki oleh guru. Perencanaan dalam pembelajaran perlu dilakukan oleh seorang guru sebelum mengajar, hal ini akan menentukan aktivitas pembelajaran seperti apa yang dirancang oleh guru sehingga dapat memfasilitasi pengembangan dari keterampilan yang dimiliki oleh peserta didiknya. Kemampuan ini merupakan kewajiban dan menjadi bagian dari profesionalisme yang dimiliki guru. Perlu ada pembiasaan dan latihan bagi seorang guru untuk dapat melakukannya, hal ini tentunya dapat dilakukan pada saat mereka ada pada jenjang pendidikan guru (calon guru). Pengalaman mereka selama menjalani proses menjadi guru tentu akan menentukannya, untuk itu perkuliahan yang melatihkan profesionalisme guru perlu ada pembaharuan dalam menyajikan dalam rangka memfasilitasi calon guru untuk dapat secara tekun dan cermat membuat rancangan pembelajaran. Melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran digital dapat menjadikan salah satu cara pembaharuan di dalam perkuliahan untuk melatihkan profesionalisme dari calon guru agar kelak mereka menjadi guru yang kompeten, khususnya merencanakan pembelajaran. Artikel ini membahas kajian mengenai upaya untuk melatihkan profesionalime guru khususnya dalam membuat perencanaan pembelajaran sedari dini melalui perkuliahan yang menggunakan media pembelajaran digital. Kata kunci: calon guru, media pembelajaran, profesionalisme, merencanakan pembelajaran Abstrack: The success in learning is the hope of the implementation of education. One of the success keys factors is the professionalism of the teacher. Lesson plans need to be made by a teacher before teaching. This will determine what kind of learning activities are designed by the teacher so it can facilitated the skill development of the students. This ability is an obligation and becomes part of the professionalism of the teacher. There needs to be habituation and training for a teacher to be able to do this, of course this can be done when they are at the teacher education level (prospective teachers). Their experience while undergoing the process of becoming teachers will certainly determine it, for this reason lectures that train teacher professionalism need to be updated in presenting it in order to facilitate prospective teachers to be able to diligently and carefully make learning plans. Through the use of digital learning media, it can be a way of updating in lectures to train the professionalism of prospective teachers so that in the future they become competent teachers, especially lesson plan. This article discusses studies regarding efforts to train teacher professionalism, especially in making lesson plans from an early age through lectures that use digital learning media. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the extent to which High Order Thingking Skill is applied in physics learning at MA Muhammadiyah Boarding School Metro and analyze students' HOTS ability in the current 21st century learning.  In this article, the type of research used is qualitative research. The data collection stage consists of 3 stages, namely observation and interview, literature study, and data analysis stage. The data analysis technique uses data triangulation techniques by comparing 3 data sources. The results showed that physics learning at MA Muhammadiyah Boarding School Metro has been integrated with High Order Thinking Skill. This is evidenced by the use of the PjBL method. The PjBL method allows students to use reasoning to create a project. However, the application of HOTS in physics learning has not been fully successful because there are still students who have difficulty in applying formulas and working on problems.  In 21st century learning, teachers are expected to continue to improve their abilities and innovate in the application of methods, strategies, and learning media that can support students' HOTS.

Abstract

This study aims to increase students' interest in learning history. The learning design in this research uses the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model via Canva Media. The subjects of this research were 35 students. Data collection techniques were carried out systematically using observation sheets. Based on observations in the first cycle, students' interest in learning was included in the medium category with an average score of 4.29. In the second cycle, there was an increase in the average score obtained by students, namely 5.28 and continued with a significant increase in cycle III, namely with an average score of 6.62. With the findings and results of observations from the first cycle to the third cycle, there was a significant increase and reached the indicators set by the researcher. The results of this research prove that the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model through Canva media can increase students' interest in learning. It is hoped that these findings can become a reference for teachers to increase students' interest in learning.

Abstract

Current learning requires students to be more interactive and utilize technology in the learning process. Achieving learning goals using technology can be developed by combining learning models and methods, one of which is problem-based learning implemented in projects. The aim of this research is to develop a problem-based Physics Interactive Learning Module (ILM) implemented in a project using a flipbook for students' creative thinking abilities. This research uses the development method with the ADDIE model. The instrument used to measure the level of validity of the instrument uses validation sheets from material and media experts. Meanwhile, the instrument used to measure creative thinking abilities uses an observation sheet. The validation results obtained by material experts and material experts were an average of 83.51% with very valid criteria. The product is then tested to see its effectiveness on creative thinking abilities. The results of the paired sample t test show a significance value of less than 0.05, so it is concluded that there is an influence of the use of ILM on creative thinking.

Abstract

Physics education at the junior high school level is often faced withdifficulties in approaching students with abstract concepts. Project-basedlearning modules are considered a contextual and relevant approach toeveryday life, allowing students to learn actively through project activities. Thisresearch uses the natural observation method involving physics teachers andstudents of SMPN 4 Metro. The natural observation method in itsimplementation uses observation sheet instruments and interview sheets.This article optimizes the concept of optimizing the project-based learningmodule which is used as an effective strategy in helping understand conceptsin physics learning at SMPN 4 Metro. The results of the literature review showthat students' understanding of physics concepts will increase and beeffective if physics learning uses project-based modules. This needs to beoptimized in its application to learning as a learning resource. So there is aneed for further studies and research regarding the effectiveness andimplementation of modules and projects in physics learning.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning media learning media POINTTER (Powerpoint Authentic and Iteractive), test the feasibility of the media and test the effectiveness of the media on student learning motivation. This research uses the research method RnD (Research and Develop). The development pattern in this study is to use the ADDIE pattern (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). The subjects in this study were 4th grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Kalirejo as many as 28 students and 4th grade students at SD Negeri 2 Kalirejo as many as 8 students. students. The instruments used in this research are in the form of wide interview, media needs questionnaire, material expert validation width, media expert validation sheet, learning expert validation sheet. media expert validation sheet, learning expert validation sheet and learning motivation questionnaire. The results of this study are in the form of POINTTER learning media, especially in IPAS learning independent curriculum on the material of the forces around us. POINTTER media developed obtained “high” criteria for product validity and feasibility. While for effectiveness of media on learning motivation, POINTTER media is effective on learning motivation with a significance value (Sig. learning motivation with a significance value (Sig.) 2-tailed is equal to 0.000 <0.05, which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. With the conclusion that POINTTER learning media is effective on student learning motivation. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran POINTTER (Powerpoint Otentik dan Interaktif), menguji kelayakan media dan menguji efektifitas media terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian RnD (Research and Develop). Adapun pola pengembangan pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan pola ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Subjek uji coba pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 4 di SD Muhammadiyah 1 Kalirejo sebanyak 27 siswa dan siswa kelas 4 di SD Negeri 2 Kalirejo sebanyak 8 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah berupa lembar wawancara, angket kebutuhan media, lembar validasi ahli materi, lembar validasi ahli media, lembar validasi ahli pembelajaran serta angket motivasi belajar. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah berupa media pembelajaran POINTTER (Powerpoint Otentik dan Interaktif) khususnya pada pembelajaran IPAS kurikulum merdeka kelas 4 SD pada materi gaya di sekitar kita. Media POINTTER yang dikembangkan mendapatkan kriteria “tinggi” untuk kevalidan dan kelayakan produk. Sedangkan untuk efektivitas media terhadap motivasi belajar, media POINTTER efektif terhadap motivasi belajar dengan nilai signifikansi (Sig.) 2-tailed adalah sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan kesimpulan bahwa media pembelajaran POINTTER efektif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Indonesia is included in the top 10 countries with the highest level of rice consumption in the world. The amount of rice consumed causes the used rice washing water to be wasted and rarely used because it has no economic value. Water used for rice washing that is disposed of for free contains organic compounds and minerals that are useful for the human body, one of which is carbohydrates. The high carbohydrate content in the water used for rice washing meets the requirements for the growth of Acetobacter xylinum bacteria that can be used in making nata. Nata de leri utilizes fermented rice laundry water using other additives such as ZA (Ammonium Sulfate), granulated sugar, and kitchen vinegar. Indonesian people usually use nata as dessert or can also be used as canned food mixed with other fresh fruits. Rice washing water that is used by reprocessing is expected to create economic value and potentially bring profits. Community Service (PKM) lecturers of the Science Education Postgraduate program at Muhammadiyah Metro University are carried out to increase the capacity of the community in processing through an understanding of making nata de leri using used rice washing water.
