Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the effect of using interactive 3D Emodules on learning outcomes on sound wave material for class IX MA Muhammadiyah Metro for the 2021-2022 academic year. This research used a quantitative approach with a type of quasi-experimental research using Non Equivalent Control Group. The data collection technique used the written test method. The test instrument used was a multiple choice test in the form of a posttest which amounted to 10 multiple choice questions. The population in this study were all 9th grade students of MA Muhammadiyah Metro. The target of this study were students of class XI Al-Hikmah as many as 20 people as an experimental class and class XI An-Nahl as many as 19 people as a control class. Sampling technique was by means of non probability sampling technique. The hypothesis test used was Independent Sample T-test and N-gain score test, which previously tested the prerequisites of normality and homogeneity. The results showed that: (1) based on the results of the Independent Sample T-test test, the Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.032, so it can be concluded that there was a significant effect of using interactive 3D E-modules on learning outcomes in sound wave material of class IX MA Muhammadiyah Metro students, (2) based on the results of the N-gain score test calculation above, it showed that the average value of the N-gain score for the experimental class (Interactive 3D E-Module) was 0.54 including in the medium or quite effective category. While the N-gain score for the control class (Conventional LKS) is 0.30 including in the low or ineffective category.

Abstract

Abstrak: Keberhasilan pembelajaran merupakan harapan dari pelaksanaan pendidikan. Salah satu kunci keberhasilan ada pada profesionalisme yang dimiliki oleh guru. Perencanaan dalam pembelajaran perlu dilakukan oleh seorang guru sebelum mengajar, hal ini akan menentukan aktivitas pembelajaran seperti apa yang dirancang oleh guru sehingga dapat memfasilitasi pengembangan dari keterampilan yang dimiliki oleh peserta didiknya. Kemampuan ini merupakan kewajiban dan menjadi bagian dari profesionalisme yang dimiliki guru. Perlu ada pembiasaan dan latihan bagi seorang guru untuk dapat melakukannya, hal ini tentunya dapat dilakukan pada saat mereka ada pada jenjang pendidikan guru (calon guru). Pengalaman mereka selama menjalani proses menjadi guru tentu akan menentukannya, untuk itu perkuliahan yang melatihkan profesionalisme guru perlu ada pembaharuan dalam menyajikan dalam rangka memfasilitasi calon guru untuk dapat secara tekun dan cermat membuat rancangan pembelajaran. Melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran digital dapat menjadikan salah satu cara pembaharuan di dalam perkuliahan untuk melatihkan profesionalisme dari calon guru agar kelak mereka menjadi guru yang kompeten, khususnya merencanakan pembelajaran. Artikel ini membahas kajian mengenai upaya untuk melatihkan profesionalime guru khususnya dalam membuat perencanaan pembelajaran sedari dini melalui perkuliahan yang menggunakan media pembelajaran digital. Kata kunci: calon guru, media pembelajaran, profesionalisme, merencanakan pembelajaran Abstrack: The success in learning is the hope of the implementation of education. One of the success keys factors is the professionalism of the teacher. Lesson plans need to be made by a teacher before teaching. This will determine what kind of learning activities are designed by the teacher so it can facilitated the skill development of the students. This ability is an obligation and becomes part of the professionalism of the teacher. There needs to be habituation and training for a teacher to be able to do this, of course this can be done when they are at the teacher education level (prospective teachers). Their experience while undergoing the process of becoming teachers will certainly determine it, for this reason lectures that train teacher professionalism need to be updated in presenting it in order to facilitate prospective teachers to be able to diligently and carefully make learning plans. Through the use of digital learning media, it can be a way of updating in lectures to train the professionalism of prospective teachers so that in the future they become competent teachers, especially lesson plan. This article discusses studies regarding efforts to train teacher professionalism, especially in making lesson plans from an early age through lectures that use digital learning media. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the extent to which High Order Thingking Skill is applied in physics learning at MA Muhammadiyah Boarding School Metro and analyze students' HOTS ability in the current 21st century learning.  In this article, the type of research used is qualitative research. The data collection stage consists of 3 stages, namely observation and interview, literature study, and data analysis stage. The data analysis technique uses data triangulation techniques by comparing 3 data sources. The results showed that physics learning at MA Muhammadiyah Boarding School Metro has been integrated with High Order Thinking Skill. This is evidenced by the use of the PjBL method. The PjBL method allows students to use reasoning to create a project. However, the application of HOTS in physics learning has not been fully successful because there are still students who have difficulty in applying formulas and working on problems.  In 21st century learning, teachers are expected to continue to improve their abilities and innovate in the application of methods, strategies, and learning media that can support students' HOTS.

Abstract

This study aims to increase students' interest in learning history. The learning design in this research uses the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model via Canva Media. The subjects of this research were 35 students. Data collection techniques were carried out systematically using observation sheets. Based on observations in the first cycle, students' interest in learning was included in the medium category with an average score of 4.29. In the second cycle, there was an increase in the average score obtained by students, namely 5.28 and continued with a significant increase in cycle III, namely with an average score of 6.62. With the findings and results of observations from the first cycle to the third cycle, there was a significant increase and reached the indicators set by the researcher. The results of this research prove that the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model through Canva media can increase students' interest in learning. It is hoped that these findings can become a reference for teachers to increase students' interest in learning.

Abstract

Physics education at the junior high school level is often faced withdifficulties in approaching students with abstract concepts. Project-basedlearning modules are considered a contextual and relevant approach toeveryday life, allowing students to learn actively through project activities. Thisresearch uses the natural observation method involving physics teachers andstudents of SMPN 4 Metro. The natural observation method in itsimplementation uses observation sheet instruments and interview sheets.This article optimizes the concept of optimizing the project-based learningmodule which is used as an effective strategy in helping understand conceptsin physics learning at SMPN 4 Metro. The results of the literature review showthat students' understanding of physics concepts will increase and beeffective if physics learning uses project-based modules. This needs to beoptimized in its application to learning as a learning resource. So there is aneed for further studies and research regarding the effectiveness andimplementation of modules and projects in physics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop POINTTER (Authentic and Interactive PowerPoint) learning media, test its feasibility, and measure its effectiveness on students' learning motivation. The method used in this study is Research and Development (RnD) with the ADDIE development pattern, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The test subjects in this study consisted of 27 4th grade students at Muhammadiyah 1 Kalirejo Elementary School and 8 4th grade students at State Elementary School 2 Kalirejo. The research instruments used include interview sheets, media needs questionnaires, material expert validation sheets, media expert validation sheets, learning expert validation sheets, and learning motivation questionnaires. The results of this study are in the form of POINTTER learning media (Authentic and Interactive PowerPoint) which was developed specifically for learning IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) in the Merdeka Curriculum for grade 4 elementary school on the material of Forces Around Us. POINTTER media developed obtained “high” criteria in terms of product validity and feasibility. Meanwhile, to measure its effectiveness on learning motivation, the results of the paired sample t-test showed a 2-tailed significance value (Sig.) of 0.000 <0.05. This indicates that H? is rejected and H? is accepted, so it can be concluded that the POINTTER learning media is effective in increasing students' learning motivation. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran POINTTER (PowerPoint Otentik dan Interaktif), menguji kelayakannya, serta mengukur efektivitasnya terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (RnD) dengan pola pengembangan ADDIE, yang mencakup tahap Analisis (Analysis), Desain (Design), Pengembangan (Develop), Implementasi (Implement), dan Evaluasi (Evaluate). Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 27 siswa kelas 4 di SD Muhammadiyah 1 Kalirejo dan 8 siswa kelas 4 di SD Negeri 2 Kalirejo.  Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan meliputi lembar wawancara, angket kebutuhan media, lembar validasi ahli materi, lembar validasi ahli media, lembar validasi ahli pembelajaran, serta angket motivasi belajar. Hasil penelitian ini berupa media pembelajaran POINTTER (PowerPoint Otentik dan Interaktif) yang dikembangkan khusus untuk pembelajaran IPAS (Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial) dalam Kurikulum Merdeka kelas 4 SD pada materi Gaya di Sekitar Kita. Media POINTTER yang dikembangkan memperoleh kriteria “tinggi” dalam aspek kevalidan dan kelayakan produk. Sementara itu, untuk mengukur efektivitasnya terhadap motivasi belajar, hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (Sig.) 2-tailed sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa H? ditolak dan H? diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran POINTTER efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Indonesia is included in the top 10 countries with the highest level of rice consumption in the world. The amount of rice consumed causes the used rice washing water to be wasted and rarely used because it has no economic value. Water used for rice washing that is disposed of for free contains organic compounds and minerals that are useful for the human body, one of which is carbohydrates. The high carbohydrate content in the water used for rice washing meets the requirements for the growth of Acetobacter xylinum bacteria that can be used in making nata. Nata de leri utilizes fermented rice laundry water using other additives such as ZA (Ammonium Sulfate), granulated sugar, and kitchen vinegar. Indonesian people usually use nata as dessert or can also be used as canned food mixed with other fresh fruits. Rice washing water that is used by reprocessing is expected to create economic value and potentially bring profits. Community Service (PKM) lecturers of the Science Education Postgraduate program at Muhammadiyah Metro University are carried out to increase the capacity of the community in processing through an understanding of making nata de leri using used rice washing water.

Abstract

This study is an ADDIE model- based development research aiming to develop and validate a guided inquiry-based science practicum module integrated with PhET Simulation on wave concepts for junior high school students. The research subjects were eighth-grade students at SMPN 9 Metro. The module was designed to address limitations in laboratory facilities and students' difficulties in comprehending abstract concepts. The development process was limited to the development phase, involving validation by material and media experts. Data were collected through quantitative descriptive assessment using a Likert scale instrument. The final product contains structured practicum activities aligned with guided inquiry syntax, supplemented with interactive simulations to support student comprehension. Validation results indicate that the module is highly feasible for use, with an average feasibility percentage of 97.4%. Feedback from validators strengthened the module's refinement, particularly in terms of appearance, clarity of instructions, and media integration. The combination of the inquiry approach and PhET Simulation not only supports independent learning but also helps students visualize wave concepts more concretely and engagingly. This module is recommended as an innovative learning media alternative that can encourage scientific literacy and strengthen 21st-century skills. The theoretical contribution of this study is the strengthening of the foundation for developing digital simulation-based and guided inquiry learning. Furthermore, the availability of a valid module that can be directly applied in junior high school science instruction represents the practical contribution of this research.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis Jam Matahari Masjid Agung Al Furqon Sukadana sebagai Benda Cagar Budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskripstif, dengan pendekatan historis dan arkeologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Jam Matahari Masjid Agung Al Furqon Sukadana memenuhi kriteria cagar budaya sebagaimana tercantum dalam Pasal 5 dan Pasal 6 Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia nomor 11 tahun 2010 tentang Cagar Budaya. Kriteria yang dipenuhi adalah: a) berusia 50 (lima puluh) tahun atau lebih; b) mewakili kurun waktu gaya paling sedikit 50 (lima puluh) tahun; c) memiliki arti khusus bagi sejarah, ilmu pengetahuan, pendidikan, agama, dan/atau kebudayaan; d) memiliki nilai budaya bagi penguatan kepribadian bangsa; e) berupa benda alam dan/atau benda buatan manusia yang dimanfaatkan oleh manusia, serta sisa biota yang dapat dihubungkan dengan kegiatan manusia dan/atau dapat dihubungkan dengan sejarah manusia; f) bergerak atau tidak bergerak; dan g) merupakan suatu kesatuan atau kumpulan. Berdasarkan perspektif sejarah dan arkeologi, Jam Matahari Masjid Agung Al Furqon Sukadana layak untuk diusulkan statusnya sebagai benda cagar budaya.
