Abstract

                                                          ABSTRACT The purpose of this research there are three. First, describe the skills listening appreciative poem grade XII SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman. Second, it describes the text short story writing skills of students of class XII SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman, and third, describing the correlation of the short story with appreciative listening skills writing skills text short grade XII SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman. Theory related to this research is the theory of (a) the skill of writing short stories, (b) the text of the short story, and (c) skills listening appreciative short story.This research type is quantitative descriptive method. The design used in this research is the design korelasional. The population of this research is to grade XII SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman are registered on the 2018/2019 academic year, i.e. 268 students. The sample in this research are determined by proportional random sampling of 15% of the population, i.e. 40 students. Research data is a score test results and appreciative listening skills short score test results text short story writing skills. results of the research there are three. First, the skill to listen appreciative short grade XII SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman is located on more than enough qualifications (LdC) with an average value of 75.21. Secondly, the text of the short story writing skills of students of class XII SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman is located on more than enough qualifications (LdC) with an average of 75.00. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is aimed to describe three things. First, to describe the knowledge of descriptive text of 7 grade student at SMP Negeri 8 Padang. Second, to describe the writing skill of descriptive text of 7 grade student at SMP Negeri 8 Padang. Third, to describe the relation between the knowledge of descriptive text and writing skill of descriptive text of 7 grade student at SMP Negeri 8 Padang. It was a descriptive research and using correlational analysis. The result revealed there is a correlation between the knowledge of descriptive text and the writing skill of descriptive text on 7 grade student at SMP Negeri 8 Padang. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted based on too many uses of ineffective sentences in the exposition essays written by the second gtade students of Batang Anai Junior High School. There were three purposes of this research, which were to describe the effectiveness of sentences written by the second grade students of Batang Anai Junior High School based on first sentence structure, second diction, and third words spelling. This research was a qualitative research. The method used in this research was descriptive. The results of the research were from 132 sentences used as the research data, there were 5 effective sentences and 127 ineffective sentences. In short, there were 12 ineffective sentences of the structure aspect, 85 ineffective sentences of the diction aspect, and 101 ineffective seiltences of the words spelling aspect. Kata kunci : keefektifan, kalimat, karangan, eksposisi, siswa

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article is written to discuss the results of research on the contribution of listening skills rhyme to rhyme writing skills of students of class VII SMPN 2 Lubuk Alung. This research data in the form of score results rhymes listening skills and writing skills scores results rhymes. The data was obtained through two types of test, which is an objective test to measure listening skills rhymes and performance tests to measure the skills of writing rhymes. This research is a quantitative correlation method. The results of this research are three: (1) listening skills rhyme VII SMPN 2 Lubuk Alung currently on qualifications Good (B) with an average value of 77.28, (2) the skill of writing rhymes seventh grade students of SMPN 2 Lubuk Alung located the qualification Good (B) with an average value of 77.27, and (3) listening skills contribute to the writing skills rhyme rhyme by 89.5% and the remaining 10.5% is influenced by other factors in this study. Kata kunci: kontribusi, menyimak, menulis, pantun

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to describe three things. First, understanding the traditional poetry seventh grade students of SMP N 34 Padang. Secondly, the writing skills traditional poetry seventh grade students of SMP N 34 Padang. Third, the relationship of understanding the traditional poetry with writing skills traditional poetry seventh grade students of SMP N 34 Padang. This type of research is quantitative, descriptive method and design of the study is correlational. The population was seventh grade students of SMP N 34 Padang,  223 students and the sample are 42 students. Sampling using proportional random sampling technique. Based on the results of research and data analysis, it was concluded that there was a significant relationship between the understanding the traditional poetry with writing skills traditional poetry seventh grade students of SMP N 34 Padang on n-1 degrees of freedom and the significant level of 95%, tcalculate greater than ttable ie 2,60 > 1,68. In other words, if the students' understanding the traditional poetry of good, writing skills traditional poetry students are also good. Conversely, if the students' understanding the traditional poetry of bad, writing skills traditional poetry seventh grade students of SMP N 34 Padang too bad. Kata kunci: korelasi, memahami pantun, keterampilan memproduksi pantun

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to describe the shape, strategy and context of directive speech acts of Bahasa Indonesia at eleventh grade students in SMA N 15 Padang. The type of this research is qualitative research by using descriptive methods. The source of the data on the research of directive speech acts of Bahasa Indonesia is eleventh grade students of SMAN 15 Padang. The findings of this research is directive speech acts of Bahasa Indonesia as a speech act that has great chance to used during the discussion process that there were 106 utterances. Demanding speech acts have become a kind of speech act that is most often used with a percentage of 75.5%. Discussions strategy which is dominant use is a strategy speak frankly without further positive politeness to the context of formal speech acts as the background activity of the students in the classroom discussion. Kata kunci: Direktif, Strategi, Konteks

Abstract

                                                   ABSTRACTThis article is written to determine the correlation of reading comprehension skills to the skill of writing a text description of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 V Koto Kp. Dalam Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. This research is a quantitative research by using descriptive correlational design. The variables in this study, namely reading comprehension skills as a variable X and writing skills of description text as a variable Y. The research instruments are an objective test and test performance. This research data is the result score skill tests readingcomprehension and writing skills test score results of the description text. The test results was compared using t-test formula to determine the correlation of reading comprehension skills to the skill of writing a text description of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 V Koto Kp. Dalam Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. The are three results in this study. First, the reading comprehension skills of students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 V Koto Kp. Dalam Kabupaten PadangPariaman are in a good qualifying with an average value of 82.79. Second, the text description writing skills of students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 V Koto Kp. Dalam Kabupaten Padang Pariaman are in a good qualifying with an average of 82.11. Third, based on the t-test results, it was concluded that there is a correlation had been reading comprehension skills of the students' writing skills of description text class VII SMP Negeri 1 V Kto Kp. Dalam Kabupaten Padang Pariaman because table value <thitung (1.80 <3,13).Kata kunci: korelasi, membaca pemahaman, menulis, teks deskripsi

Abstract

ABSTRACT The objectives of this study were to describe (1) the types of masters found, (2) the types of majas that emerged, (3) the slightly emerging type of masters, (4) knowing the types of majas that never appeared, (5) the short story text students of SMAN 2 Payakumbuh class XI. The data in this study is the masters which is contained in the text of the students of the class XI SMAN 2 Payakumbuh. the source of this research data is an official document in the from of the text clusters of students class XI MIPA 3 SMAN 2 Payakumbuh which is collected and archived by Indonesian teachers semester one academic year 2017/2018. Data were collected using documentation study. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that (1) found 13 types of masters used; (2) the emerging masters are hyperbolic masters; (3) the slightly emerging masters are antitheses, litotes, paralipsis, zeugma, metonimia, allusions, and inversions; (4) the types of majas that never arise are allegory, irony, paranomasia, sinekdoke, euphemism, ellipsis, gradation, alliteration, antanaclasis, and kiasmus; and (5)  there are findh seven atmosphere of appearance of majas in the text of short story of student of class XI SMAN 2 Payakumbuh. Kata kunci: teks cerpen, majas, suasana

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose research of this describe the impact of the discovery learning aided the media images glow of skill write the text short story class VII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Solok. This type of this study is quantitative methods of experimentation. The result of this research there were three, which is (1) the skill of the text short story class VII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Solok before using the model discovery learning aided the media image series are at sufficient qualifications (C) with an average of 60,59, (2)the skill of writing text short story class VII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Solok after using the model discovery learning aided the media image series is in the qualifications either (B) whit an average 78,89, (3) the skill of writing text story class VII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Solok after using the model discovery learning aided the media image glow is better than before using the model discovery learning aided the media image. Kata kunci: pengaruh, discovery learning berbantuan media gambar berseri, teks cerpen
