Abstract

This article aims to explore the Anderenat tradition on Gili Iyang Island through the lens of cultural ecology, with the objective of analyzing how local cultural practices function as mechanisms for environmental adaptation and conservation. Employing a qualitative descriptive method and an interpretive framework grounded in cultural ecology theory, the study investigates the embedded values and ecological functions within the Anderenat tradition, particularly in relation to how communities interact with and respond to their natural environment. The findings reveal that Anderenat is not merely a religious or ceremonial activity, but a complex ecological practice that embodies local wisdom transmitted through generations. It integrates spiritual beliefs, social rituals, and environmental actions—such as collective prayers, communal gatherings, and the symbolic planting of coconut trees—as strategic responses to ecological challenges like irregular rainfall and soil infertility. These practices not only reinforce communal solidarity but also cultivate ecological awareness and responsibility among community members. Moreover, the tradition fosters a sense of stewardship over natural resources, contributing to the long-term sustainability of the island’s fragile ecosystem. Theoretically, this study contributes to the discourse on environmental anthropology and cultural ecology by demonstrating how indigenous knowledge systems serve as functional and adaptive responses to environmental change. It suggests that traditions like Anderenat can serve as culturally grounded models for integrating local wisdom with modern scientific approaches in the development of inclusive and sustainable environmental policies

Abstract

This article discusses the concept of bid'ah in the perspective of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah (Aswaja), especially according to Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). This study aims to examine how NU understands bid'ah and how its moderate attitude in responding to various religious traditions that are considered bid'ah. The research method used is a literature review with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that NU applies the principle of moderation through the concept of maslahah in responding to new traditions that develop in society. Religious traditions such as tawassul, tabarruk, and the commemoration of Maulid are included in the category of bid'ah hasanah, which is accepted because it brings goodness both in social and spiritual aspects. NU's understanding of bid'ah provides a balance between maintaining good old traditions and accepting new innovations that are beneficial to the people.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of self esteem and learning motivation on learning achievement with the mediator of emotional intelligence in students at SMAN 39 Jakarta. The sample of this study consisted of students at SMAN 39 Jakarta. Data were collected through questionnaires that measured the level of self esteem, learning motivation, emotional intelligence, and learning achievement. Data analysis was conducted using path analysis method with mediation approach. The results showed that there is a relationship between Self Esteem has a positive effect of 0.23 and a significant t value = 2.27 on Learning Achievement. Learning motivation has a positive effect of 0.27 and a significant t value = 4.51 on Emotional Intelligence. Emotional Intelligence has a negative effect of -0.22 and a value of t = -2.10 which means significant to Learning Achievement. Self Esteem has more influence on Emotional Intelligence than Learning Achievement, Learning motivation has more influence on Learning Achievement than Emotional Intelligence. The results of this study provide further understanding of the factors that influence student achievement, as well as the importance of the role of emotional intelligence as a mediator in the relationship between self esteem and learning motivation with learning achievement. This research has important implications in the context of education, especially in efforts to improve student achievement. The results of this study can be used as a basis for developing programs and interventions that aim to improve students' self esteem, learning motivation, and emotional intelligence.

Abstract

The problem of low fiqh prayer learning outcomes at MTs. Riyadlus Sholihin encourages the need for innovation in learning methods. The discussion method was chosen as an approach to improve students' understanding of fiqh prayer material. This activity aims to improve student learning outcomes while fostering critical thinking and collaboration skills. The method used in this activity involves initial identification of problems through observation and interviews, implementation of discussion-based learning, and evaluation using learning outcomes tests and observation of student participation. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of the discussion method. In addition, students showed active participation and a deeper understanding of the fiqh prayer material. The conclusion of this activity is that the discussion method is proven effective in improving fiqh prayer learning outcomes, especially at MTs. Riyadlus Sholihin. The recommendation from this activity is the application of similar methods in other materials or subjects to support the improvement of the quality of learning in schools

Abstract

Pesantren not only functions as a place to teach religious knowledge, but also plays an important role in efforts to preserve the environment as part of the responsibility of the pesantren itself. One of the pesantren that pays great attention to the issue of environmental conservation is PP. Annuqayah Lubangsa, Guluk-guluk, Sumenep, Madura. This research attempts to answer two things, firstly, the Annuqayah Lubangsa Islamic Boarding School in responding to the phenomenon of environmental crisis. Second, the model of religious ecocentrism movement carried out by Annuqayah Lubangsa Islamic Boarding School. This research looks at the efforts of pesantren in environmental conservation through the analytical framework of religious ecocentrism. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data that has been obtained is then analysed using data reduction, display, and verification. The results of this study show that the response of PP. Annuqayah Lubangsa's response to ecological phenomena stems from the history that in the pesantren environmental issues have become the teachings of previous caregivers and the caregiver's appeal to a concern about the increasingly worrying problem of accumulating garbage in the pesantren environment, giving birth to an environmental conservation movement, as well as a form of santri's responsibility as caliphs on earth. Second, the religious ecocentrism movement model carried out by the Annuqayah Lubangsa pesantren was pursued through various methods. Pesantren tidak hanya sekadar berfungsi sebagai tempat pengajaran ilmu keagamaan, melainkan juga berperan penting dalam upaya melestarikan lingkungan hidup sebagai bagian dari tanggung jawab pesantren itu sendiri. Salah satu pesantren yang menaruh atensi besar pada persoalan pelestarian lingkungan hidup adalah PP. Annuqayah Lubangsa, Guluk-guluk, Sumenep, Madura. Penelitian ini hendak berupaya menjawab dua hal, yakni pertama Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah Lubangsa dalam merespons fenomena krisis lingkungan. Kedua, model gerakan ekosentrisme religius yang dilakukan Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah Lubangsa. Penelitian ini melihat upaya pesantren dalam pelestarian lingkungan melalui kerangka analisis ekosentrisme religius. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan reduksi, display, dan verifikasi data. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa respons PP. Annuqayah Lubangsa terhadap fenomena ekologis bermula dari sejarah bahwa di pesantren tersebut isu lingkungan sudah menjadi ajaran pengasuh terdahulu serta adanya himbauan pengasuh terhadap suatu keresahan akan adanya persoalan penumpukan sampah yang kian mengkhawatirkan di lingkungan pesantren, hingga melahirkan gerakan konservasi lingkungan, sekaligus sebagai bentuk tanggungjawab santri sebagai khalifah di muka bumi. Kedua, Model gerakan ekosentrisme religius yang dilakukan pesantren Annuqayah Lubangsa ditempuh melalui berbagai cara, mulai dari membangun jejaring dengan pihak-pihak yang kompeten dalam konservasi lingkungan yang termanifestasi dalam bentuk sekolah ekologi di Desa Panggungharjo, Sewon, Bantul, DIY; mendirikan laboratorium sampah UPT Jatian; hingga kampanye ekologis. Gerakan ekosentrisme religius ini terbukti membawa pengaruh yang cukup signifikan bagi berbagai pihak, terutama bagi beberapa pesantren dan instansi pendidikan lainnya, baik dari Kabupaten Sumenep maupun luar itu sendiri.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the problems associated with the development of maharah al-kitabah in learning Arabic at Madrasah Aliyah. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that there are several problems encountered in the development of maharah al-kitabah in Madrasah Aliyah. First, limited resources and adequate learning materials are obstacles in developing students' maharah al-kitabah. The textbooks used do not support adequate writing practice, and the lack of access to varied reading materials also limits the development of students' writing skills. Second, the teacher's lack of understanding and skills in teaching maharah al-kitabah, especially in designing writing assignments that are varied and attract students' interest. Third, the low motivation and interest of students in learning to write Arabic, which can be caused by an unattractive learning approach and the low application of effective learning methods. To overcome this problem, a comprehensive effort is needed. First, it is necessary to develop more diverse and relevant learning resources and materials, including textbooks that better support writing practice. Second, the need for training and professional development for teachers in teaching maharah al-kitabah, including the use of innovative and effective learning methods. Third, it is necessary to increase student motivation and interest through interesting learning approaches, such as the use of information and communication technology and the application of interactive and participatory learning methods.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kajian tentang potensi aset umat dan tata kelolanya menjadi kajian yang patut diberi porsi lebih. Al-Jihad sebagai salah satu lembaga yang mengelola aset umat tampak memiliki model tata kelola yang menarik untuk dikaji secara mendalam. Oleh karena itu, fokus utama kajian ini berkisar dua hal: Bagaimana tata kelola aset umat di Yayasan al-Jihad Surabaya; dan bagai analisis hukum Islam terkait tata kelola tersebut. Kajian ini adalah kajian lapangan yang mempergunakan pendekatan filosofis. Data diperoleh dari wawancara langsung terhadap beberapa tokoh yang terkait langsung dengan objek kajian. Data terkumpul dianalisis kritis secara mendalam, dan analisis compare-contrast dilakukan guna memperoleh validitas data yang diperoleh. Penelitian ini mengkonfirmasi setidaknya dua kesimpulan besar: Pertama, prinsip skala prioritas (awlāwīyah) memainkan peran besar dalam tata kelola aset umat Islam. Lembaga pendidikan yang baik, sejatinya juga bisa menjelma sebagai lembaga sosial yang dapat mengangkat harkat, martabat dan kesejahteraan lembaga-lembaga yang mengelola aset umat Islam secara umum. Kedua, pemprioritasan atas aspek ḍarūrīyah (primer) dalam sistem tata kelola lembaga pendidikan secara tidak langsung berperan besar dalam mendukung perkembangan lembaga itu sendiri. Lembaga pendidikan yang ideal harus mampu menjadi pusan pendidikan dan pengajaran, namun di lain hal ia harus mampu menjelma sebagai lembaga sosial-kemasyarakatan. Lembaga pendidikan ini tidak hanya mampu menghadirkan proses pendidikan-pengajaran, namun dapat juga memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat yang paling mendasar, kesejahteraan. Kata Kunci: al-Jihad, DASA, Aset Umat, Dana Sosial, Skala Prioritas. Abstract: The study of the potential of community assets and their governance is a study that deserves to be given more portion. Al-Jihad as one of the institutions that manage people's assets appears to have an interesting governance model to be studied in depth. Therefore, the main focus of this study revolves around two things: How is the governance of people's assets at al-Jihad Foundation Surabaya; and how is the analysis of Islamic law related to this governance. This study is a field research, which uses a philosophical approach. Data is obtained from direct interviews with several figures directly related to the object of study. The collected data were critically analysed in depth, and compare-contrast analysis was conducted to obtain the validity of the data obtained. This research confirmed at least two major conclusions: First, the principle of priority scale (awlāwīyah) plays a major role in the governance of Muslim assets. A good educational institution, in fact, can also be transformed into a social institution that can raise the dignity and welfare of institutions that manage Muslim assets in general. Secondly, the prioritisation of ḍarūrīyah (primary) aspects in the governance system of educational institutions indirectly plays a major role in supporting the development of the institution itself. An ideal educational institution must be able to be a centre for education and teaching, but on the other hand, it must be able to be transformed into a societal institution. This educational institution is not only able to present the education-teaching process, but can also fulfil the most basic needs of society, welfare. Abstract

Tulisan ini akan menganalisis ijtihad Mahmud Syaltut tentang hukum pidana Islam serta perbandinganya dengan ulama-ulama madzhab fiqih lainnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah comparative analysis di mana penulis akan menganalisis ijtihad Mahmud Syaltut tentang hukum pidana Islam lalu membandingkannya dengan ijtihad ulama -ulam madzhab fiqih lainnya. Untuk menganalisis ijtihad Mahmud syaltut penulis akan menggunakan buku-buku karangan Mahmud Sylatut yang berbahasa Arab di antaranya: mintaujihaat al Islam, al Islam Aqidah Wasyariah, al fatawa, Tafsir al Quranul Karim dan lain-lain, Adapun untuk menganalisis ijtihad ulama-ulama madzhab fiqih penulis menggunakan rujukan asli berbahasa Arab seperti: Fathul Qodir, Al Mughni li Ibnu Qudamah, Bada’iu Shonaii dan Mughnil Muhtaj. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa ijtihad Mahmud Syaltut dalam bidang hukum pidana lebih erat mendudukan pidana dengan Sad dzariah di mana hal itu agar tercapai tujuan Syariah Islam atau Maqoshid Syariah, selain itu agar terwujudnya kemaslahatan hidup dan kehidupan manusia baik di dunia maupun di akhirat. adapun persamaannya adalah sama-sama berpegang pada nash-nash al quran dan hadis, sedangkan perbedaanya adalah Ijtihad Mahmud Syaltut lebih banyak mengaitkan masalah pidana dengan masa sekarang serta selalu berpegang pada maqoshid Syariah, sedangkan ulama-ulama Fiqih lebih pada teksnya tanpa memperhatikan kondisi zaman perbuatan pidan itu dilakukan. Selain itu ada perbedaan yang mencolok dalam hukuman pidana bagi had riddah (murtad) di mana Syaltut berpendapat bahwa hukuman mati bagi pelaku riddah atau murtad yang difatwakan para ulama madzhab adalah hukuman yang salah dan Islam tidak mengenal hukuman tersebut menurutnya, oleh karena itu hukuman itu harus dibatalkan.

Abstract

Restorative justice is a process of resolving criminal cases that involves the parties to restore justice, prioritizing a peaceful agreement and the fulfillment of the rights of victims and the responsibilities of perpetrators. Although it has been included in the provisions of each law enforcement agency, the implementation of restorative justice often experiences a differentiation between the requirements and the reality that occurs in the field. This attracted the author to conduct an implementation study of the restorative justice process in a case involving the fraudulent buying and selling of arisan, with a get-or-decline system handled by the Sat. Reskrim Polres Jombang. By using a type of juridical-empirical legal research method with a case approach, and a statutory approach, where the data is obtained from interviews and documents. Based on the study's results, the fraud case meets the formal and material requirements outlined in Police Regulation No. 8 of 2021, Article 4. At the level of the concept of criminal procedure law, the process of investigation, from investigation to termination of the case, has been in line with the standard operating procedures in the Criminal Procedure Code. Second, the case of fraudulent social gatherings has reflected the fulfillment of the context of maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah and the principle of ṣulḥ in efforts to resolve it according to Islamic law.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya keterampilan digital masyarakat dan belum optimalnya pengelolaan platform media sosial oleh Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) di Desa Karanggupito, sehingga citra destinasi wisata Argo Munung belum maksimal. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan media sosial untuk membangun citra destinasi wisata secara efektif. Metode kegiatan meliputi tiga tahap: persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi, dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Mahasiswa KKN memberikan pelatihan kepada pemuda desa mengenai branding digital, teknik pembuatan konten, dan manajemen media sosial. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan digital peserta, termasuk pembuatan konten, interaksi di media sosial, dan kerja sama tim, dengan peningkatan rata-rata 30–47% pada berbagai indikator. Meskipun terdapat tantangan seperti keterbatasan perangkat dan pemahaman algoritma, program ini berhasil mendorong partisipasi masyarakat dalam promosi wisata secara digital. Kesimpulannya, literasi digital yang ditingkatkan melalui kolaborasi komunitas dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam memperkuat citra dan daya tarik wisata lokal secara berkelanjutan.
