Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan pengaruh media magic straw terhadap perkembangan kognitif dan motorik halus pada anak kelompok B TK Dharma Wanita Persatuan di kecamatan Waru Sidoarjo, penelitian in ipenelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen, pada penelitian ini menggunakan desain experimental karena memiliki kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, data penelitian sebanyak 60 anak, di TK Dharma Wanita Persatuan Berbek 33 anak, sedangkan di TK Dharma Wanita WadungAsri 27 anak, penelitian di dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2021.hasil penelitian dan uji hipotesis terbukti bahwa media magic straw berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan kognitif dan motorik halus pada anak kelompok B dengan terbukti adanya perbedaan niali kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol. Keberhasilan anak dalam merangkai magic straw berkatagori sangat baik, kerena dalam merangkai menggunakan media magic straw mendapat respon yang baik dari anak. Berdasarkan hasil dan diskusi penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media magic straw dapat meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif dan perkembangan motorik halus anak.

Abstract

This research is based on the government’s policy that learning must be carried out online due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this research is to find out what applications have been used by teachers in Bubutan, Surabaya City during the Covid-19 pandemic to support online learning in early childhood education. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was obtained from the results of a survey conducted by google form and interviews by WhatsApp. The results showed that there were many kinds of online learning support applications during the Covid-19 pandemic such as WhatsApp, zoom, google meet, google classroom, and pear deck. Whatsapp is the most widely used application and Peardeck is an application that is still unfamiliar to be used in the Bubutan, Surabaya City.

Abstract

The Collaborative-Cooperative Learning Model (CCL) helps improve students’ characters. This study is aimed at finding out the effectiveness of the CCL instructional model in improving the characters of the theology students in the subject matter class Self Development. The study used the quasi-experimental research design. The research sample consisted of 58 students of the Surabaya Excelsius Institute of Theology. Data were collected by way of a test in a pre-test and posttest for the experiment and control groups and analyzed by way of an independent sample t-test on the SPSS software program of Amos 25. Results show that (1) the CCL model is found to be able to improve students’ characters. Experts’ reviews conclude that the CCL syntax can be categorized as having innovative aspects based on the rationality model on the score of 3.29; (2) The CCL model is found to be effective in improving students’ characters by the Mann-Whitney test (sig. = 0,012) and the paired sample t-tes (sig. = 0.000) showing a significant difference in the mean scores; (3) the CCL model can improve the characters of self-discipline, social discipline, and religious discipline  in the theology students in the subject matter class Self Development and can be used for subject matter classes with the same characteristics, be followed-up by research in wider subject-matter contexts, and be integrated  with research from other academic fields.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test the Puzzle education game on children's cognitive and language abilities. To see the effect of Puzzle media, researchers used a quasi-experimental method; nonquivalent control group design. The research subjects were children of Group B, Group I in Bandung District. Data collection using observation, portfolio. The conclusion from the analysis is that there is an influence of Puzzle education media on the cognitive and language abilities of children in Group B of Cluster 1 in Bandung District, Tulungagung Regency. With educational Puzzle game media, cognitive and language development is better than using magazines or children's worksheets. Abstract

Professional teachers were required having four competencies as mandated by Teachers Law No. 14 of 2005. Those competencies were: (1) pedagogic, (2) professional, (3) personal, and (4) social competence. They seemed to Ki Hajar Dewantara's thoughts were explicitly reflected in Tamansiswa principles, namely: (1) orderly speaking and acting, (2) greetings, (3) peace, and (4) happiness. They accord to regulation of national education minister No. 16 of 2007, including "Presenting yourself as an honest person, noble character, and revealing good model for students and society." The toughts of Ki Hajar's personality was translated into values that must be possessed by educators and educated. These values were, (1) exemplary: ing ngarsa sung tulada; (2) motivation: ing madya mangun karsa; (3) tut wuri handayani is in the implementation of education is called the nurture system. Data collection techniques was using method: questionnaire, observation, interview, and documents. Data analysis techniques also used flow analysis adaptation of Milles and Huberman (2013). The research findings were: (1) lecturers' behavior in conducting education with the nurture system at UST Yogyakarta in building character has been internalized in lecturers, employees, and students reflected in campus life. Referring to Tamansiswa principles, Ki Hajar Dewantara's thoughts were consisting to: (a) Niteni, Nirokake, Nambahi, (b) Tri Nga: Ngerti, Ngroso, Nglakoni, and (c) the implementation of leadership trilogy in the nurture system stood for wider seven Tamansiswa principles. Ki Hajar's thoughts were expected to be implemented by the teachers as educator by giving good model in carrying out education.AbstrakGuru profesional dituntut memiliki empat kompetensi seperti yang diamanahkan oleh Undang-Undang Guru No 14 Tahun 2005. Kompetensi yang dimaksud, yaitu kompetensi: (1) pedagogik, (2) profesional, (3) kepribadian, dan (4) kompetensi sosial. Dalam penerapan keempat kompetensi guru tersebut secara terintegrasi. Ajaran Ki Hajar Dewantara yang tersurat dalam azas tamansiswa, yaitu (1) tertib bicara dan bertindak, (2) salam, (3) damai, dan (4) bahagia. Keempat azas tamansiswa ini selaras dengan Permendiknas No. 16 Tahun 2007, di antaranya “Menampilkan diri sebagai pribadi yang jujur, berakhlak mulia, dan teladan bagi peserta didik dan masyarakat.” Ajaran kepribadian Ki Hajar dapat dijabarkan menjadi nilai-nilai yang harus dimiliki oleh pendidik, dan terdidik. Nilai-nilai tersebut yaitu, (1) keteladanan: ing ngarsa sung tulada; (2) motivasi: ing madya mangun karsa; (3) tut wuri handayani dalam plaksanaan pendidikan disebut sistem among. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode: angket, observasi, wawancara dan dokumen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis alir adaptasi Milles dan Huberman (2013). Hasil penelitian ditemukan: (1) perilaku dosen dalam melaksanakan pendidikan dengan sistem among di UST Yogyakarta dalam membangun  karakter sudah terinternalisasi pada dosen, tendik dan mahasiswa yang tercermin dalam kehidupan kampus. dengan berlandaskan azas tamansiswa. Ajaran Ki Hajar Dewantara di antaranya: (a) Niteni, Nirokake, Nambahi, (b) Tri Nga: Ngerti, Ngroso, Nglakoni, dan (c) penerapan trilogi kepemimpinan dalam sistem among dengan berpijak pada tujuh azas tamansiswa yang diperluas. Ajaran Ki Hajar ini diharapkan dapat diterapkan oleh guru sebagai pendidik dengan keteladanan dirinya dalam melaksanakan pendidikan

Abstract

This study aims to improve the quality of teachers in the virtual teaching and learning process, through discussions related to the preparation of online RPPH to increase teacher creativity in choosing learning activities, and improve teacher skills in evaluating learning as improvement material for the preparation of online RPPH in Al Ummah Manyar Islamic Kindergarten. Gresik. The method in this study is qualitative with observation and interview data collection techniques, using fourteen subjects to be observed in a relatively long time, namely six months. Al Ummah Integrated Islamic Kindergarten teachers have also used media and learning resources that are in accordance with the play while learning approach. In the development of activity planning, it is still not visible, the results of interviews with parents also stated that the slogans or jargon used by the teacher lacked innovation, and the theme songs were less varied. So it can be concluded that by participating in various trainings and also being able to conduct comparative studies to other schools related to the management of online learning can increase the creativity of teachers in designing learning activities.. Abstract

The results of the advancement of technology and Informatics has opened up the opportunity of world citizens that belong to Indonesia to take advantage of electronics products, including mobile phones. The results of field observations in the last three years found that the phenomenon of school age children start kindergarten until students are likely to be able to operate the mobile phone. Observe the type of basic literacy, developed by Kemendikbud, every type of basic literacy had the same position with the other basic literacy to be developed, including the type of digital literacy. The six types of basic literacy was developed in an attempt to take Indonesia citizens (especially primary and JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL students) have the skills the 21st century human being who has the ability to think kiris, krearif, communicative and collaborative as well as character. Phenomena in the field of digital literacy and that mobile phones that can be as a medium of instruction has not been developed in States that made possible can contribute to improve the quality of learning in a Blended Learning settings. Digital literacy for this long purely known in social media can deliver a variety of information related to the things that are needed by the citizens of the community, but still not optimized for the synergistic support increasing the quality of learning.

Abstract

This research was conducted to identify the need for instructional media before the development of cooking video media. The results of this needs analysis will be the basis for making video materials for deaf students. Needs analysis needs to be done as part of the pre-development stage of the research and development (R&D) process, using research subjects of as many as 13 classroom teachers, as well as researchers conducting observations and collecting data through a google form questionnaire distributed via Whatsapp. Based on the research findings that to involve deaf students in the culinary learning process and generate a desire to learn, innovative learning media are needed so that deaf students can achieve maximum learning goals and improve learning outcomes.

Abstract

The world has entered the era of knowledge-based society and economy which is open (digital) and relies on free competition. The new era brought changes in the skills required by the job market. Vocational education and training at the secondary education needs to equip graduates with life and career skills: productivity and accountability in managing projects and producing products. Based on data from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) 2021, the ratio of the number of entrepreneurs in Indonesia is still 3.47 percent or only around 9 million people of the total population. The percentage of trading business owners who are graduates of Vocational High Schools (SMK) is 5.5%. Through the SMK revitalization program in 2020 it is hoped that conditions will be created in 80% of SMK graduates work in their fields, 12% are entrepreneurs, and 8% continue their studies. SMK gradute can be identified by the competency of each expertise program, so that the existence of products or applied results for society is absolutely there. A learning concept that can facilitate SMK students in producing products is a design-based learning/DBL. DBL as a science is an activity of knowledge and explanation that has direction and purpose. This activity is carried out with certain procedures, using methods, steps and means of support. Philosophy of science invites people to reflect on their knowledge activities through three foundations of discussion, namely: ontology, epistemology, and axiology. This literature study aims to examine the DBL framework from three aspects above.

Abstract

Teachers tend to have different characteristics in delivering the material, which may result in different interpretations in the student's point of view. Learning media can be created using writing, audio, visual, or even a combination of all of them. If the selection of learning media is carried out correctly, it will greatly help the interaction in learning activities in the classroom. The philosophy of science and education has a great role in shaping the characteristics of learning media . In the philosophy of science and education, there are several aspects and dimensions that are the basis for making learning media, namely aspects of ideas and facts, as well as abstract and concrete dimensions both theoretically and practically. The approach of philosophy of science and education ontologically, epistemologically, and axiologically in the development of learning media, if summarized in accordance with its practical objectives, will be able to form practical values that lead to learning abilities or outcomes.
