Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh metode bercerita dengan media loose parts terhadap perkembangan bahasa dan emosi anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi-experimental nonrandomized pretest-posttest control group design atau bisa juga disebut non-equivalent control group design. Uji hipotesis menggunakan independent sample T-test. Teknik analisis data menggunakan One Group Pretest Posttest Design dengan subjek penelitian 33 anak. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan metode bercerita dengan media loose part terhadap perkembangan bahasa dan emosi anak usia dini yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil independent sample t-test perkembangan bahasa diperoleh t-hitung sebesar 3,359 sedangkan t-tabel yang diperoleh dari 33 responden adalah 1,694 sehingga t-hitung lebih banyak dari t-tabel. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan perkembangan bahasa antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Sedangkan hasil uji independent sample t-test perkembangan emosi bahwa t-hitung adalah 2,959 sedangkan t-tabel yang diperoleh dari 33 responden adalah 1,694 jadi t-hitung lebih banyak dari t-tabel sehingga ada perbedaan perkembangan emosi antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode bercerita dengan media loose part dapat meningkatkan perkembangan bahasa dan emosi anak Kelompok B di Gugus II Kecamatan Bandung Kabupaten Tulungagung.

Abstract

Abstract: Motivasi mempunyai peranan besar pada keberhasilan individu dalam belajar. Pada pembelajaran matematika, seorang siswa yang sudah mempunyai kemampuan pemahaman matematis dituntut juga untuk bisa mengkomunikasikannya. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk menganalisis motivasi belajar dan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas XI IPS MA Alfalah. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan angket untuk mendapatkan data motivasi belajar dan tes tertulis untuk memperoleh hasil kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Indikator motivasi belajar diantaranya minat, perhatian, konsentrasi dan ketekunan. Indikator yang digunakan dalam mengukur tes komunikasi matematis dalam penelitian ini yaitu Written Text, Drawing dan Mathematical Expressions. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data yang kemudian dinaratifkan. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang mempunyai motivasi tinggi mampu menyelesaikan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Sedangkan siswa yang mempunyai motivasi rendah tidak mampu menyelesaikan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis.  Keywords: Motivasi Belajar, Komunikasi Matematis, Aksiologi  Abstrak: Motivation has a big role in individual success in learning. In learning mathematics, a student who already has the ability to understand mathematics is also required to be able to communicate it. The aim of this study was to analyze the learning motivation and mathematical communication skills of the XI IPS MA Alfalah students. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire to obtain data on learning motivation and a written test to obtain the results of mathematical communication skills. Indicators of learning motivation include interest, attention, concentration and persistence. The indicators used in measuring the mathematical communication test in this study are Written Text, Drawing and Mathematical Expressions. Data processing techniques use data reduction, presenting data which is then narrated. The results in this study indicate that students who have high motivation are able to complete the test of mathematical communication skills. While students who have low motivation are unable to complete the test of mathematical communication skills. Kata Kunci: Learning motivation, mathematical communication, axiology

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the results of an analysis which shows that media for early childhood 5-6 years is needed for the development of aspects of language development. This research aims to develop a media that is suitable for the characteristics of early childhood 5-6 years. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) research. The subjects used in this study were 15 children aged 5-6 years from an educational institution in Sukodono, Sidoarjo. The results of this study are, as follows. 1) Media spelling word scrabble to develop aspects of language development in early childhood 5-6 years is developed based on the steps in DDD-E, namely Decide, Design, Development and Evaluate. 2) The effectiveness of the spelling word scrabble media product is "Effective". It can be concluded that Scrabble spelling word media is effectively used to develop language development in early childhood 5-6 years.Keywords: Research and Development; Media Scrabble; Language Development; GamificationAbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari hasil analisis lapangan yang menunjukkan sangat dibutuhkan alat bantu untuk anak usia dini 5-6 tahun untuk mengembangkan aspek perkembangan Bahasa. Penilitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah media yang sesuai dengan karakteristik anak usia dini 5-6 tahun. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 15 anak dengan usia 5-6 tahun dari suatu lembaga pendidikan di Sukodono, Sidoarjo. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah, sebagai berikut. 1) Media spelling word scrabble untuk mengembangkan aspek perkembangan Bahasa pada anak usia dini 5-6 tahun dikembangkan berdasarkan langkah-langkah dalam DDD-E, yaitu Decide, Design, Development and Evaluate. 2) Efektifitas produk media spelling word scrabble adalah “Efektif”. Abstract

Educators need to understand the developmental stages of students. One of the developments is cognitive development. Philosophy of science is important in cognitive learning studies to produce a more comprehensive understanding. This literature review aims to: (1) describe cognitive studies according to experts, (2) describe cognitive theory in terms of philosophy of science and (3) describe the implementation of cognitive studies in learning. The results of the study: (1) Cognitive Theory according to theorists such as Piaget (1964), Vygotsky (1978), Lewin (1935, 1936), and Brunner (1956) states that (a) all individuals develop in the same way, although the styles and stages are different; (b) cognitive abilities resulting from cultural and social interaction; (c) each individual is in a psychological force field where the place to react is called the field of life; and (d) learning can create conditions that allow individuals to learn more about themselves; (2) The ontological understanding of cognitive development theory is the existence of developmental processes in determining human understanding and acquisition of knowledge. The epistemological review of cognitive development theory lies in the search for truth and understanding through empirical investigation, logical inference, and systematic exploration of how individuals learn and grow cognitively over time. Axiological review of cognitive development theory lies in the commitment to foster ethical behavior and create a learning environment through the acquisition and application of knowledge about cognitive growth and learning; and (3) Cognitive Theory can be implemented in learning, namely through learning strategies.

Abstract

The research aimed to develop and assess the effectiveness of the Digital Project-Based Rotation Learning (DPBRL) model in enhancing students' critical thinking skills. The study employed a research and development method, using a non-equivalent control group design during the pilot phase, a research method used to describe and measure the characteristics of populations or phenomena systematically using numerical data, involving 83 undergraduate students from Mulawarman University Guidance and Counseling Study Program, divided into two heterogeneous classes. Validation of the DPBRL model was conducted by experts in learning model design, materials, and media, with data collected through validation sheets, interviews, document analysis, questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The data was analyzed using descriptive technique and Independent Samples t-test. The results demonstrated that the DPBRL model effectively improved students' critical thinking skills and digital literacy, particularly through the use of digital modules with Flipbook Maker. The model’s rotation structure and presentation stage provided a structured learning approach, highlighting the importance of feedback. The study concluded that integrating technology and collaboration in project-based learning through the DPBRL model significantly benefited students’ critical thinking, digital literacy, and teamwork, offering a comprehensive and effective learning experience.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the project-based learning model on concept understanding and there is an effect of the project-based learning model on the critical thinking ability of students in journalistic training activities. Quasi-experimental research design, with a nonequivalent pretest-posttest group design model, 70 research subjects divided into experimental and control groups. The results showed that both data were statistically normally distributed, the data were statistically homogeneous, and the results of the hypothesis testing of both data showed a significant effect. The conclusion informs that there is an effect of project-based learning model on concept understanding and there is an effect of project-based learning model on students' critical thinking ability in journalism training activities.

Abstract

Students with autism often experience difficulties in understanding and organizing time sequences, particularly in distinguishing natural time periods such as day and night. This study aimed to develop Augmented Reality (AR)–based Time Sorting learning media to improve students’ understanding of day-night concepts. The research employed a development research approach using the ADDIE model, comprising Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data were collected through expert validation questionnaires, classroom observations, and pre-test and post-test assessments to evaluate the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed media. The results showed that the AR Time Sorting learning media were categorized as valid and highly feasible, with validity scores of 100% from media and subject matter experts. Teacher responses indicated that the media were easy to use, and students maintained focus on the AR visualizations with minimal distraction. Statistical analysis revealed a significant improvement in students’ understanding of day and night concepts, with a significance value of 0.028 (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that AR-based Time Sorting learning media are effective in improving students with autism’s understanding of day and night concepts.
