Abstract

Unmanned aircraft or known as UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) is an aircraft technology that is controlled ly by the operator using  Control. The thrust is determined according to the needs of the aircraft itself. This study uses a thrust test stand that uses a mass measuring device as a measuring force, using a brushless motor and 3 different types of propellers, namely propeller two with a size of 8 x 4 inches and 10 x 7 inches, three propellers with a size of 6 x 3 inc to determine the optimal thrust for missions flying -controlled model aircraft (UAV). After testing, it was found that the smallest thrust force of the 6x3 inch blade type propeller, on this type of propeller only 3,874 N of thrust is produced at 100% throttle percentage and uses a 3 cell battery. While the greatest thrust generated from the propeller with a type of two when 10x7 inches, on this propeller and using a 4 cell battery can produce a Thrust of 13,194 N with a percentage of full throttle or 100%. The thrust required for the aircraft to fly cruising in the air is 0.806 N, while the thrust required for the aircraft to take off is 6.513 N.Keywords: Control Model Aircraft, Propeller, Thrust

Abstract

Hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) is a highly toxic and corrosive gas frequently encountered in oil and gas processing operations, particularly in gas plant facilities. Due to its hazardous nature, even minimal leakage can result in fatal consequences for personnel, severe environmental contamination, and major disruptions to plant operations. This review article aims to systematically examine the current risk management practices applied to control H₂S leakage in gas processing facilities. A comprehensive literature review was conducted on 30 peer-reviewed scientific articles published between 2015 and 2024, sourced from reputable databases such as Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. The analysis reveals those structured methodologies, such as the ISO 31000 risk management framework, HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study), HAZID (Hazard Identification), and bowtie analysis, are effective in identifying vulnerable points within H₂S processing and distribution systems. Furthermore, the adoption of automated H₂S gas detection systems, regular emergency response drills, safety training programs, and the use of corrosion-resistant materials significantly enhances risk mitigation. The findings emphasize the need for integrated approaches that combine technical safeguards with organizational safety culture. This article provides essential insights for industry practitioners and policymakers to improve safety standards and reduce the likelihood and impact of H₂S-related incidents in gas plants.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilakukan sebagaimana bagian dari bentuk Kuliah kerja Nyata Mahasiswa Universitas Teuku Umar di Desa Alue Meuganda, Kecamatan Woyla Timur, Kabupaten Aceh Barat tanggal 15 Juli-19 Agustus 2025 terdiri dari kegiatan utama dan kegiatan penunjang, dapat dilaksanakan sesuai dengan program kerja yang sudah dibentuk. Mahasiswa mampu mengabdi secara nyata, bertukar pikiran dan mampu meneyelasikan program yang ada di desa tersebut. Laporan ini disusun sebagai bentuk penangung jawaban kegiatan kuliah kerja nyata. Mahasiswa mendapatkan ilmu dan pengalaman dari desa untuk meningkatkan wawasan kepada masyarakat kemudian di terapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pengalaman membuat kegiatan atau acara-acara yang tentunya diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi kami kedepan
