Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the mathematical creative thinking ability of class XII MIA students of SMA Negeri 2 Kolaka. This type of research is qualitative descriptive with research subjects consisting of 37 students of class XII MIA SMA Negeri 2 Kolaka. The reserch instrument consisted of a written test in consisting of 3 questions and interviews in which the data were grouped and analized according to the indicators of creative thinking abilities. Based on the results of the students’ mathematical creative thinking ability test results showed thet out of 37 respondents there was 1 respondent with very creative thinking skills, 8 rspondents were creative, 11 respondents were creative enough, 15 respondents were less creative, and 2 respondents were not creative. Based on the results of data analysis, it was obtained: (1) The flexibility indicatoor is 44,46%; (2) Fluency is 44,93%; (3) Originality of 51,69%; (4) Elaboration of 46,12%. The result showed that the average mathematical creative thinking ability of stundents of class XII MIA for all indicators was in the quite creative category with a percentage of 46,12%. Keywords: Creative ThinkingAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa kelas XII MIA SMA Negeri 2 Kolaka. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian terdiri dari 37 siswa kelas XII MIA SMA Negeri 2 Kolaka. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari tes tulis yang terdiri dari 3 soal dan wawancara yang selanjutnya data dikelompokkan dan dianalisis sesuai dengan indicator kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Berdasarkan hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa menunjukkan dari 37 responden terdapat 1 responden dengan kemampuan berpikir kategori sangat kreatif, 8 responden kategori kreatif, 11 responden kategori cukup kreatif, 15 responden kategori kurang kreatif, dan 2 responden kategori tidak kreatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh: (1) Indikator keluwesan yaitu sebesar 44,46%; (2) Kelancaran yaitu sebesar 44,93%; (3) Keaslian sebesar 51,69%; (4) Elaborasi sebesar 46,12%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa kelas XII MIA untuk semua indicator berada pada kategori cukup kreatif dengan persentase sebesar 46,12%. Kata kunci: Berpikir Kreatif

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes by using a learning model based on Information and Communicaton Technologies (ICT). This research is a Classroom action research qualitative research. This research method consists of: (1) planning (planning); (2) the implementation of the action (action); (3) observation and evaluation (observation and evaluation); (4) reflection (reflection). This research uses descriptive statistical data analysis involving 20 students, including 7 boys and 13 girls and using instruments in the form of student worksheets and interview guidelines for teachers and students. Based on the results of initial observations, it shows that the low learning outcomes obtained by students. This is because teachers have less ability to vary learning models/strategies, where teachers only explain the material to students and then ask questions, but only a few students have an active understanding of concepts/knowledge in learning. Based on the daily test results, before the first cycle of action, only 40% of students with an average score of 60.1 scored 70 from the KKM (Minimum Graduation Criteria), which was 75%. In the first cycle, there was an increase from the initial test which was 40% to 55% of students with an average score of 65.98 who obtained a score of 70, while in the second cycle the test also increased to 85% with an average score of 80.56 who obtained a score 70. The final result of this research is that it can improve Mathematics Learning Outcomes by Applying the ICT-based Creative Problem Solving (CPS) Learning Model.

Abstract

Restrictions on learning activities during the COVID-19 pandemic have forced students to study from home. However, it does not mean that the quality of student learning outcomes will decrease. To maintain and even improve students' mathematical abilities and understanding post COVID-19 pandemic, constructivism learning was applied to mathematics learning at home in Puundoho village, North Pakue District, North Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. Constructivism learning helps students in building mathematical concepts using their own abilities through an internalization process using prior knowledge. Activities are carried out in three stages, namely planning, implementation and reporting of activities. The form of activity is the application of constructivism learning in mathematics learning at home which aims to maintain the quality of student learning outcomes, as well as improve students' abilities and understanding after the COVID-19 pandemic. The results obtained are the level of students' ability and understanding of mathematics which is indicated by the ease with which they can answer correctly each given question.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam membuat dan mengembangkan instrumen evaluasi online menggunakan Quizizz. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 22 peserta yang terdiri dari 17 orang guru SMP dan 5 orang guru SMA/SMK yang berada di Kecamatan Pakue Utara, Kabupaten Kolaka Utara, Sulawesi Tenggara. Bentuk kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah pelatihan yang dilaksanakan selama 3 hari. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan tiga tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, dan evaluasi. Peserta diberikan soal pre-test untuk mengukur pengetahuan dan kemampuan awal peserta sebelum kegiatan. Selanjutnya, peserta diberikan materi pelatihan pembuatan instrumen evaluasi online menggunakan Quizizz. Setelah materi selesai diberikan, dilanjutkan dengan evaluasi (posttest) untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan peserta. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkah bahwa adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan peserta terhadap penyusunan instrumen online menggunakan Quizizz tergolong baik (78.18%). Tindak lanjut dari pelatihan ini adalah pendampingan melalui WhatsApp group terhadap guru-guru dalam menghasilkan produk instrumen evaluasi yang siap digunakan.

Abstract

This research and development aimed to produce teaching materials for research and teaching methodology courses using the 4D model. Teaching materials were arranged based on a 4-D procedure: Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The validated teaching materials were tested through small groups of 30 students and large groups of 90 students. It collected data using observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data were analyzed qualitatively by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The quantitative analysis was done by processing data from expert reviews and responses from lecturers and students using percentages. The development results were teaching materials validated by four expert validators: content-focused material, curriculum-focused material, learning design, and language. The research and development resulted in a defined stage obtained material elaboration from the point of view of the research methodology of language, mathematics, and geography. The design stage was based on the design validator's suggestion regarding an attractive appearance on the cover, chapter titles, and the format of the content of the Deepublish textbook. In the development stage, the validation results obtained an average of 76.37% with good qualifications, and the average test decision was feasible with revisions in certain parts. The test results of small group students obtained 75.19% or good qualifications. The results of the large group trial got 76.83% or good qualifications. The research concludes that teaching materials have been compiled based on 4D steps. Based on the findings, the implications of this study show that the teaching materials resulting from the development can be used as material for consideration for teachers in delivering related material under the conditions during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Tujuan serta target khusus yang direncanakan dalam kegitan pengabdian masyarakat ini meliputi empat hal sebagai berikut: (1) Teridentifikasinya konsep-konsep matematika yang esensial yang bisa diajarkan dengan lebih mudah yaitu menggunakan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis ICT. Sebagai kriterianya adalah minimal 50% materi matematika SMP/MTs dapat diajarkan dengan media pembelajaran berbaisis ICT. (2) Terbentuknya Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) matematika dengan kemampuan dan pengetahuan yang memadai dalam pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbaisis ICT. Sebagai kriterianya adalah minimal 75% dari guru mitra memiliki pengetahuan yang baik dalam pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbaisis ICT dalam proses pembelajaran matematika. (3) Adanya produk media pembelajaran matematika yang inovatif dan eksploratif dengan target minimal 90% dari guru mitra menguasai materi yang ada dalam modul petunjuk pengaplikasian media pembelajaran berbaisis ICT. (4) Adanya peluang untuk mengembangkan jiwa kewirahusahaan, dengan memproduksi media pembelajaran matematika inovatif berbasis ICT yang memiliki nilai jual. Metode yang digunakan dalam mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah (1) Pembinaan Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) matematika dengan penekanan pembinaan yaitu penguasaan terhadap media pembelajaran berbaisis ICT yang memadai, diharapkan dapat mengatasi permasalahan pembelajaran matematika dan mampu menjadi wahana dalam memfasilitasi pengembangan profesionalisme para guru. (2) Memberikan pelatihan kepada para guru untuk merancang media pembelajaran matematika berbasis ICT dan mengimplementasikannya dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Economic growth of a city is a multifaceted phenomenon that is influenced by various factors, including regulatory policies, technological infrastructure, and the quality of human resources. This quantitative analysis investigates these determinants in the context of Surabaya City. Through surveys data analysis, we use Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to examine the relationship between regulatory policy, technological infrastructure, human capital quality, and economic growth. Our results show a significant positive relationship between these factors and economic growth, providing insights that can guide policymakers, business leaders, and academics in advancing the economic prosperity of Surabaya City.

Abstract

This research delves into the intricate dynamics of income inequality in Yogyakarta, focusing on the interplay of Access to Resources, Economic Factors, Education, and the resulting Income Gap. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the study employs Structural Equation Modeling to analyze data collected from a diverse sample. The findings reveal significant relationships between these socio-economic variables, shedding light on the nuanced factors contributing to income disparities. Access to Resources emerges as a pivotal factor, alongside the influence of Economic Factors and the mitigating effect of Education. The results carry profound policy implications, emphasizing the need for targeted interventions to enhance resource accessibility, foster inclusive economic development, and promote educational opportunities. This research contributes to the broader discourse on income inequality, offering actionable insights for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners invested in creating a more equitable socio-economic landscape in Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the profile of creative thinking abilities and mathematical numeracy literacy of junior high school students in solving mathematical problems. Students' creative thinking abilities in this study refer to aspects of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Meanwhile, students' mathematical numeracy literacy refers to indicators of formulating problems systematically, reasoning, and solving problems. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Latambaga. The research instrument used was non-routine test questions given to students, and data processing was carried out qualitatively. The results showed that descriptively, the students' mathematical creative thinking abilities were in the quite creative category, whereas 40 students were in the quite creative category with an average score of 51.43. Meanwhile, from the numeracy literacy data, students are in the good category, where students who are in the good category are 40 students with an average score of 63.47. Based on these data, it can be concluded that students' mathematical numeracy literacy skills are more likely than the mathematical creative thinking abilities of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Latambaga.
