Abstract

Letjen Panjaitan Road and Letjen S. Parman Road are national roads connecting Jember City and Banyuwangi City. Public roads with massive traffic volumes and high accident rates are a scourge in the community. Traffic accidents result in much loss, both property and vehicle damage costs, as well as medical care costs. In order to obtain road conditions that minimize the risk of traffic accidents, it is necessary to identify locations that are prone to traffic accidents. The method for handling accident-prone locations uses the Road Infrastructure Safety Audit form. Traffic accident data from 2014-2018 obtained from the Jember Police Traffic Unit with accident-prone locations occurred in the KM 1 + 250 to KM 1 + 500 road segments. Road infrastructure safety audits get a non-hazardous (NH) risk category. The road geometry in the field is following the geometric procedures for inter-city road planning issued by the Department of Public Works and Bina Marga.

Abstract

Jember regency has a population that is increasing every year, causing traffic density. However, the facilities did not get so much improvement as the population did, therefore the number of traffic accidents increased. A traffic accident has an impact to increase the amount of poverty because there is so much cost to spend, either cost for when the accident happened or after the accident happened for healing cost. This study aims to analyze the characteristics and costs of traffic accidents to reduce the number of traffic accidents in Jember using the Gross Output (Human Capital) method. The results of the Gross Output (Human Capital) method obtained the cost of accident victims in Jember for three years (2017-2019) of IDR 162,010,233,179 and the cost of traffic accidents in Jember for three years (2017-2019) of IDR 192,779,704,983.

Abstract

Bypass Mojokerto is main route of transportation between cities and provinces used to divert areas with high density activities. Based on data from Satlantas Mojokerto, traffic accidents throughout 2019 contained 436 accident cases with 57 people died. The causative factor for traffic accidents is geometric conditions of road that unsuitable with standard design Bina Marga in 1997. Therefore needed to analyze the geometric relationship between roads and road safety on section of Bypass Mojokerto KM Sby 51 – KM Sby 63. The research data used road geometric including radius of the curve, degree of curvature, and superelevation as well as the safety element data including value of the Equivalent Accident Number (EAN), accident number, and accident rate. Field survey was conducted to determine location of bend in KM. Then data processing uses googlemaps and google earth. Meanwhile, safety element data was obtained from Mojokerto Police. Geometric road data obtained were processed using Autocad and calculations were using excel. In this researh, the analysis used to analyze effect of relationship is the statistical test method of linear, multiple, and polynomial regression analysis using excel. The results of three analyzes were compared in order to obtain the percentage value that had the greatest influence on traffic safety. Based on research results, road geometric can have the best affect on road safety are superelevation, degree of curvature and slope with R2 each values of 39.34%; 49.94%; 35.65%. The results of superelevation analysis of road safety using polynomial regression analysis with a value of R2 = 0.393 and Y = -46518X2 + 4716.3X - 100.92. Meanwhile, the results of degree of curvature on road safety using polynomial regression analysis has a value of R2 = 0.499 and Y = 0.0002X2 - 0.0123X + 0.2412. In addition, the results of road safety slope analysis used polynomial regression analysis has a value of R2 = 0.356 and Y = 6.1457X2 - 9.3246X + 6.4163.

Abstract

The growth of transportation facilities and infrastructure is not in line with traffic growth, resulting in an increase in traffic crashes. The increasing trend in the number of crashes causing death occurs in developing countries, like Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to value the subjective cost of a slight crash. This study used the Willingness to Pay method to determine the probability of motorists to be willing to pay more to reduce the risk of traffic crashes using the binary logistic regression method. The results of the Willingness to Pay method provide conclusions namely gender, total income, marital status, and the experience of having an crash resulting in the probability of being willing to pay more to reduce the risk of crashes by 27% (for motorists who have had an crash one time) and 40% (for motorists who have had a crash twice).

Abstract

Universitas Jember built high rise building and had a high complexity of work, it requires a construction project management to simplify and minimize errors in its process. Project management performance can be described through the concept of Building Information Modeling (BIM). The application of BIM method in this study used Revit Architecture for software support to obtain volume at each job in the monitoring process to determine MC0 and termin setting processes. The data used namely shop drwaning / forcon which is used as a reference in model. Building modeling in this study is divided into 3 modeling phases, namely lower structure modeling, upper structure and architecture. Based on the model, a tie beam volume was 26.74 m3 with reinforcement was 4,361 kg, 1st floor column concrete modeling was 52.87 m3 with reinforcement was 12.176,39 kg and perimeter wall volume on the 1st floor was 320.71 m2. The error that appeared in the calculation of the concrete volume in the BIM modeling with the conventional method is 0% while the error that appears in the reinforcement calculation is 0-0.042%.

Abstract

Pergerakan lalu lintas di ruas jalan Gajah Mada tergolong tinggi karena banyak daerah pusat perbelanjaan di sekitarnya yang berpotensi mengakibatkan kecelakaan lalu-lintas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara derajat kejenuhan dengan angka kecelakaan lalu-lintas. Angka kecelakaan (Accident Rate) adalah banyaknya kecelakaan yang terjadi pada ruas jalan selama waktu tertentu dan dihitung berdasarkan panjang jalan serta jumlah kendaraan yang melewati ruas jalan tersebut. Sedangkan derajat kejenuhan merupakan perbandingan antara volume lalu-lintas (smp) dengan kapasitas jalan. Penelitian dilakukan di jalan Gajah Mada Kabupaten Jember yang dibagi menjadi dua bagian. Analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji korelasi dan uji regresi. Variabel yang digunakan adalah derajat kejenuhan untuk variabel bebas, dan tingkat kecelakaan sebagai variabel terikat. Hasil analisis menunjukkan hubungan yang kuat bersifat negatif (-) antara derajat kejenuhan dengan angka kecelakaan. Hubungan antara derajat kejenuhan dengan angka kecelakaan pada setiap ruas adalah fungsi eksponensial negatif  (-). Hasil ini dapat diartikan peningkatan derajat kejenuhan berpengaruh terhadap penurunan angka kecelakaan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pola hubungan antara derajat kejenuhan dengan angka kecelakaan di jalan Gajah Mada Kabupaten Jember. Sehingga hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan pertimbangan untuk perencanaan dan manajemen jalan perkotaan.

Abstract

The increase in facilities and the academic community experienced at 5 Public High Schools in Jember is in line with the increase number of vehicles. The increasing number of vehicles causes traffic jams on the surrounding areas of school. Moreover, most of the parents accompanying their children stop or park their vehicles on the road side. Therefore, it needs a traffic management to solve the problem. The first thing to do is the analysis and modeling of trip generation. Analysis of trip generation modeling in this study was modeled using multiple linear regression methods. The best model produced to predict the trip attraction of Jember Public High Schools vehicles is Y = (0,194) X1 + (1,059) X6 + (42,676) X7 606,109 with an R2 value of 0.945. Meanwhile, the trip production of Jember Public High Schools vehicles is Y = (0.234) X1 + (0.699) X6 + (40,566) X7 594.67 with an R2 of 0.933; where the Y is the number of vehicles, X1 is the number of students, X6 is the class area, and X7 is the ratio of the number of students to teachers.

Abstract

The total department at the University of Jember is increasing year by year. Student body accomplishment impact is increasing the number of students. Because of this increment, the number of student who rides motorcycle increase too. The impact of this increment is changing a road function in MKWU, Computer and Science Faculty, Postgraduate, and Library area at the University of Jember into a parking lot (on-street parking). Therefore, it needs to be relocated to an off-street parking facility, and in this thesis, the parking facility that used is a parking building. This final project aims to find out the capacity of the existing parking area, the capacity of an elevated parking building, and the design and specification of the parking building. The method used in this thesis is the deviation of maximum cumulative, where the in-and-out vehicle’s accumulation compared with the existing capacity and the result is used for calculation of parking accumulation, parking duration, and parking index. The value of the Parking Index for 4,36 years ahead is 51,3%<100% and the parking building able to accommodate the demand. From the parking lot requirement, it needs an area of 1155 m2 and for the circulation’s area, it needs 1125,6 m2.

Abstract

Terminal Tawang Alun Jember merupakan Terminal Penumpang Tipe A yaitu terminal yang berfungsi untuk melayani transportasi umum baik skala nasional maupun skala internasional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kepuasan dan harapan dari pengguna jasa terhadap fasilitas dan pelayanan dengan melihat kelengkapan fasilitas di terminal Tawang Alun berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Nomor 40 Tahun 2015. Evaluasi tingkat kepuasan pelanggan menggunakan acuan berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara Dan Reformasi Birokrasi Republik Indonesia Nomor 14 Tahun 2017 khususnya mengenai fasilitas utama maupun fasilitas penunjang. Adapun analisis tingkat kepuasan menggunakan metode IPA (Importance Performance Analysis). Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, tingkat pelayanan adalah sebesar 50,00% dimana Terminal Tawang Alun memenuhi 28 indikator dari total 56 indikator yang terdapat dalam  Peraturan Menteri Nomor 40 Tahun 2015. Tingkat kepuasan dengan melihat unsur pelayanan di Terminal Tawang Alun bernilai 51,31 yang masuk dalam kategori nilai D (Tidak Baik). Nilai tingkat kepuasan digambarkan dalam diagram kartesius yang menunjukkan prioritas utama untuk peningkatan pelayanan adalah pelayanan kelengkapan informasi jadwal keberangkatan bus pada ruang tunggu, tersedia media layanan pengaduan, ketersediaan fasilitas khusus dan toilet khusus penyandang difabel & lansia,  ketersediaan fasilitas khusus ruang ibu menyusui dan tersedia informasi pelayanan yang lengkap.

Abstract

Kolom berfungsi sebagai penerus beban–beban dari balok dan pelat ke tanah dasar melalui fondasi. Kolom berfungsi menahan beban aksial tekan dengan atau tanpa momen lentur. Kolom memegang peranan penting pada keutuhan struktur, apabila kolom mengalami kegagalan akan berakibat pada keruntuhan struktur bangunan atas gedung. Kolom persegi dan kolom persegi panjang lebih banyak digunakan daripada kolom lingkaran. Padahal, bentuk kolom lingkaran dipercaya mempunyai kekuatan menahan beban aksial yang lebih besar dibandingkan kolom persegi dan persegi panjang. Kolom bersengkang lingkaran juga terbukti mempunyai daktilitas yang lebih baik dibandingkan kolom persegi dan persegi panjang. Oleh karena itu, penelitian mengenai pengaruh bentuk penampang kolom terhadap keruntuhan struktur gedung perlu dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk kolom mana yang memberikan pengaruh terbaik dalam mencegah keruntuhan struktur gedung. Penelitian ini menggunakan model gedung dengan penampang kolom persegi, persegi panjang dan lingkaran. Beban gempa dihitung dengan menggunakan metode statik ekuivalen. Elemen struktur masing – masing gedung diperiksa kapasitasnya dan dilakukan pemeriksaan keruntuhan setelah ditambahkan beban gempa. Dari hasil perhitungan didapatkan bahwa balok pada struktur gedung dengan kolom persegi panjang lebih cepat runtuh daripada balok pada struktur gedung dengan kolom persegi dan lingkaran, baik pada keruntuhan lentur maupun keruntuhan geser. Kapasitas kolom lingkaran dalam menerima beban aksial lebih besar 11% daripada kolom persegi dan persegi panjang. Dari analisis kapasitas penampang didapatkan bahwa kolom persegi panjang dapat menahan momen arah X lebih baik daripada kolom persegi dan lingkaran, namun sebaliknya kolom persegi panjang lebih lemah dalam menerima momen arah Y daripada kolom persegi dan lingkaran. Kolom persegi dan lingkaran relatif stabil dalam menerima momen dari arah X maupun Y.
