Abstract

Ahmad Yani and Trunojoyo are urban roads located in Jember City, East Java. There is a fundamental correlation in traffic between flow, speed, and density. To find out the correlation model of the three parameters, research with Greenshield, Greenberg, and Underwood models will be carried out which produce a capacity value. Once the capacity values of the three models have been calculated, then the capacity that is most appropriate to the MKJI 1997 capacity values is searched. This research was conducted on active working days (weekdays) conducted from 06.00 – 21.00 WIB. Based on the results of this study, the capacity value for the Ahmad Yani Street section from the Greenshield model is 3486,90 veh/hour, Greenberg is 14134 veh/hour, and Underwood is 4034 veh/hour. Meanwhile, for the Trunojoyo Street section capacity value obtained from the Greenshield model is 3275,80 veh/hour, Greenberg is 12513,45 veh/hour, and Underwood is 3852,33 veh/hour. The capacity values based on the IHCM 1997 for Ahmad Yani Street is 3960 veh/hour and Trunojoyo is 4079 veh/hour. Based on the results of this study, the appropriate model for the Ahmad Yani Road section is the Underwood model and Trunojoyo Road is the Greenshield model.

Abstract

Establishing and maintaining hydrometeorological networks in sub-watersheds is challenging. An analysis of an established network of Rain Gauge Station (RGS) is provided in this study in the form of a comprehensive statistical framework. Hydrometeorological observations are monitored by this network, which aims to gather the most pertinent information while minimizing expenditures. The study location is at Ngasinan Hulu watershed (East Java, Indonesia), with ten rain gauge stations and one automatic water level recorder (AWLR). Errors in reviewing hydrological data in a watershed can cause the resulting data to be inaccurate. Therefore, to solve the problem of incorrect data, it is necessary to rationalize rain gauge stations. The rationalization for this study uses the Stepwise method. The results of the Stepwise-Enter method produce a combination of six rain gauge stations with measured rainfall data and a combination of four rain gauge stations with CHIRPS satellite rainfall data. Therefore, this combination of rain gauge stations is rational because it meets the classical assumption test, and the area is evenly distributed according to WMO standards.

Abstract

Traffic flow is expressed in passenger car units ( PCU) using a conversion favtor called the passenger car equivalent (PCE). The EMP value is used to overcome differences in the space required by a vehicle when making movements in traffic. The emp value is highly dependent on environmental factors, type of vehicle, terrain conditions, vehicle dimensions, the area of ​​road space used, and vehicle flow. This research was conducted to obtain a comparison of the value of EMP with MKJI 1997 with multyple linear regression calculations. Data collection is carried out to obtain traffic volume and road geometric. The analysis method used is using multyple linear regression method, the results of the analysis of the EMP value of the Letjen S Parman road were obtained for Jalan Letjen S Parman on the left side of weekdays 0.271 for MC and 2.581 for HV, for the right side of weekdays 0.244 for MC and 5.467 for HV, Letjen S Parman left side weekend 0.389 for MC and 2.495 for HV. There is a difference between the EMP value in the field and the emp value in MKJI, namely for MC of 7.74%, - 2.45%, 35.73%, and for HV of 53.50%, 78.05%, 51.90%.

Abstract

Superhydrophobic coatings on cotton utilized in medical applications like hospital gowns and bed linens to offer a protective barrier against fluids and bacteria. Masks were worn with different types of materials. In this study, various cotton employed ZnO and AESO to effectively decrease the surface energy of cotton fabric via a Schiff base reaction. This chemical transformation resulted in the formation of a textured surface structure that exhibited robust adhesion qualities. The study demonstrates that the superhydrophobic coating on silk fabric increases 153. 59%. The coating on silk provides a reference for fabric types with ZnO and AESO coatings.

Abstract

Vehicle speed has an essential role in the occurrence of traffic accidents. Increasing the number of vehicles operating on the road will further increase the risk of traffic accidents because it is not balanced with discipline in driving. This study's purpose is to analyze the relationship between speed and traffic accidents that occurred in Gadjah Mada and Hayam Wuruk Road, Jember, through several variations of calculations. The independent variables used are average speed and 85th percentile speed and density, while the dependent variable used is the accident rate. The analysis used is a correlation test that determines the level of closeness of the relationship between the two variables and a regression test that helps estimate the relationship between the two variables through a regression equation model that will be selected based on conditions in the field. The results of this study indicate that lower speed is associated with a lower accident rate. Meanwhile, lower vehicle density leads to an increase in the accident rate. Speed management to improve traffic safety in Indonesia is needed. Direction for future research is presented.

Abstract

The increasing population in Jember district has caused the higher needs of transportation facilities in Jember, particularly on train as a public transportation. The increase can be seen by the number of passengers in Daop 9 Jember. By 2015, the number of train passengers in Jember Station which originally amounted 640.000 passengers increased to 800.000 passengers by 2016 (increase about 20%). PT. KAI is planning to develop Jember Station in order to provide convenience and better service for train passengers. Jember Station development will result in changes of traffic flow around the station, so that traffic simulations due to this station development need to be done. Traffic simulations were done by creating scenarios of traffic flow around Jember Station, until the intersection performance of this area can be known. In this study, the method used to collect traffic volume data and inventory is by direct survey on field. In the calculation of intersection performance and traffic simulation, the method used is MKJI (Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual) 1997. After the analysis was conducted, the obtained intersection performance data in road network around Jember Station was very diverse. On signalized intersection, the highest intersection performance was located in SMPN 2 Jember intersection from eastern intersection in Bedadung street with Level of Service (LoS) F. Whereas on unsignalized intersection, the highest intersection performance was located in Hotel Nusantara intersection with Level of Service (LoS) C. Then, in order to obtain a better intersection performance in road network around Jember Station after development, a traffic management was done with : setting the traffic flow, installation of traffic signs on the road network, and also resetting the traffic light in signalized intersection. After the traffic management was conducted, there was a better level of service on both signalized and unsignalized intersection around Jember Station, which means the recommended traffic scenarios are proper to be implemented. Jumlah penduduk yang meningkat di Kabupaten Jember menyebabkan kebutuhan akan sarana transportasi di Jember semakin tinggi, khususnya pada transportasi umum jenis kereta api. Peningkatan yang terjadi terlihat dari jumlah penumpang di Daop 9 Jember. Pada tahun 2015 jumlah penumpang kereta api di Stasiun Jember yang semula berjumlah 640.000 penumpang meningkat menjadi 800.000 penumpang pada tahun 2016 (meningkat sekitar 20%). PT. KAI berencana untuk melakukan pengembangan stasiun Jember agar dapat memberikan kenyamanan dan pelayanan yang lebih baik bagi penumpang kereta api. Pengembangan Stasiun Jember ini akan mengakibatkan perubahan arus lalu lintas di sekitar stasiun, sehingga simulasi-simulasi lalu lintas akibat pengembangan stasiun perlu dilakukan. Simulasi lalu lintas dilakukan dengan membuat skenario arus lalu lintas di sekitar Stasiun Jember, hingga akhirnya dapat diketahui kinerja simpang pada daerah ini. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan untuk pengambilan data volume lalu lintas dan inventarisasi yaitu dengan cara survei langsung di lapangan. Pada perhitungan kinerja simpang dan simulasi lalu lintas, metode yang digunakan yaitu metode MKJI (Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia) 1997. Setelah dilakukan analisis, data kinerja simpang yang didapat pada jaringan jalan di sekitar Stasiun Jember sangat beragam. Pada simpang bersinyal, kinerja simpang paling tinggi terdapat pada Simpang SMPN 2 Jember dari kaki simpang timur atau pada Jalan Bedadung dengan tingkat pelayanan (LoS) F. Sedangkan pada simpang tak bersinyal, kinerja simpang tertinggi terdapat pada Simpang Hotel Nusantara dengan tingkat pelayanan (LoS) C. Kemudian, untuk mendapatkan kinerja simpang yang lebih baik di jaringan jalan Stasiun Jember setelah pengembangan, dilakukan manajemen lalu lintas yaitu : pengaturan arus lalu lintas, pemasangan rambu-rambu lalu lintas pada jaringan jalan, serta pengaturan ulang traffic light pada simpang bersinyal. Setelah dilakukan manajemen lalu lintas tersebut, didapat tingkat pelayanan yang lebih baik pada simpang bersinyal dan simpang tak bersinyal disekitar stasiun Jember, yang berarti skenario lalu lintas yang direkomendasikan layak untuk diterapkan di lapangan.

Abstract

Pada Desa Wotgalih, Kecamatan Yosowilangun, Kabupaten Lumajang sampai dengan pesisir Pantai Puger, Kabupaten Jember akan direncanakan pembangunan Jalan Lintas Selatan. Jalan ini akan dibangun dari STA 25+500 sampai dengan STA 40+400 dengan nilai CBR pada tanah dasar 22,7%. Perbedaan penggunaan jenis perkerasan akan menghasilkan nilai life cycle cost yang berbeda pula, nilai life cycle cost yang minimum merupakan salah satu kriteria yang harus dipenuhi dalam merencanakan perkerasan jalan. Menghitung nilai life cycle cost setiap jenis perkerasan bertujuan untuk mendapatkan desain perkerasan yang paling efisien. Dalam merencanakan tebal struktur perkerasan dibutuhkan data sekunder berupa nilai California Bearing Ratio (CBR) dan lalu lintas harian rata-rata. Data-data tersebut diolah sesuai dengan pedoman Manual Desain Perkerasan Jalan 2017. Rancangan anggaran biaya dihitung dengan analisis harga satuan pekerjaan (AHSP) Provinsi Jawa Timur, sehingga didapatkan biaya konstruksi tiap perkerasan.  Nilai life cycle cost didapatkan dengan menambahkan biaya konstruksi dan biaya pemeliharaan. Selanjutnya dibutuhkan nilai tingkat inflasi dan nilai suku bunga untuk menghitung nilai discounted life cycle cost. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan perkerasan lentur terdiri atas lapis pondasi agregat kelas A 130 mm, AC Base 115 mm, AC BC 60 mm dan AC WC 40 mm, sedangkan struktur perkerasan kaku terdiri dari lapisan drainase 150 mm, LMC 100 mm, dan pelat beton 195 mm dengan tie bars diameter 16 mm dan serta dowel diameter 36 mm. Nilai discounted life cycle cost perkerasan lentur sebesar Rp162.834.408.862 dan perkerasan kaku sebesar Rp64.501.092.789. Perkerasan lentur membutuhkan biaya lebih banyak daripada perkerasan kaku.

Abstract

Pasuruan and Probolinggo Regency is a Regency in East Java which is famous for its tourism and industry, such as mount bromo and the safari park. This makes the Pasuruan regency is experiencing significant economic growth. To smoothen and spur economic growth in this area, the government built the Pasuruan – Probolinggo toll road. The objective of this study is to analyze the existing road traffic of Pasuruan and Probolinggo and doing the feasibility study. Feasibility study is determined based on the value of the ratio between the income investors gained at the cost of build the toll road. The value of these feasibilitystudy based on the analysis of the Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and the Pay Back Period (PBP). Financially value NPV > 1, value of BCR > 0 and the value of the IRR 8.3%. Toll Road construction project – Probolinggo Pasuruan worth financially and economically. Direction for future research is presented. Kabupaten Pasuruan dan Probolinggo adalah salah satu Kabupaten di Jawa Timur yang terkenal dengan pariwisata dan industrinya, seperti gunung bromo dan taman safari. Hal ini membuat Kabupaten Pasuruan mengalami pertumbuhan ekonomi yang cukup signifikan. Untuk memperlancar dan memacu pertumbuhan ekonomi di kedua kabupaten tersebut, pemerintah membangun jalan tol Pasuruan – Probolinggo. Tujuan penulisan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis lalu – lintas jalan eksisting Pasuruan – Probolinggo dan melakukan analisis kelayakan secara finansial. Untuk analisis kelayakan secara finansial ditentukan berdasarkan nilai rasio antara income investor yang didapat dengan biaya pembuatan jalan tol. Nilai kelayakan finansial tersebut berdasarkan analisis Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) dan Pay Back Period (PBP). Dalam penelitian ini, nilai DS pada Kecamatan Grati dengan nilai DS rata-rata 0.69 dan pada titik Kecamatan Leces dengan DS rata-rata sebesar 0.60. Secara finansial nilai NPV >1, nilai BCR >0 dan nilai IRR 8.3 %. Sehingga secara finansial proyek Pembangunan Jalan Tol Pasuruan – Probolinggo layak secara finansial. Arah penelitian selanjutnya telah diberikan pada akhir artikel.

Abstract

In fullfiling the needs of public transportation in Jember District, many people demand a safe, fast, economical and fluently transportation. The railway is more efficient public transportation because it is more economical, safe and travel time is fast. Therefore PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) needs to improve the service and facilities of Jember Station in order to become the main attraction of people to use rail transport services. The implementation of the Boarding Pass system in Jember Station currently needs to be evaluated to assess station services and facilities based on Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number: PM 48 Year 2015. Analysis of minimum service standards in Jember Station has been done before applying the boarding pass system. This study also aims to determine the satisfaction and expectations of passengers as measured by the questionnaire. The questionnaire data using Likert scale was processed using SPSS program with Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method and described with Cartesian diagram. The gap between the level of satisfaction and interest is obtained in the form of gap value with the largest indicator below the average that is the problem of parking space available at Jember Station. Dalam memenuhi kebutuhan transportasi massal di Kabupaten Jember, banyak masyarakat menuntut suatu angkutan umum yang aman, cepat, ekonomis dan lancar. Kereta api merupakan transportasi massal yang cukup efisien karena lebih ekonomis, aman dan waktu tempuh yang cepat. Maka dari itu PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) perlu meningkatkan pelayanan dan fasilitas Stasiun Jember agar menjadi daya tarik masyarakat untuk menggunakan jasa angkutan kereta api. Penerapan sistem Boarding Pass di Stasiun Jember saat ini perlu dievaluasi untuk menilai pelayanan dan fasilitas stasiun berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Perhubungan Nomor: PM 48 Tahun 2015. Analisa standar pelayanan minimum di Stasiun Jember sudah pernah dilakukan sebelum penerapan sistem boarding pass. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepuasan dan harapan penumpang yang diukur berdasarkan kuesioner. Data kuesioner menggunakan skala Likert diolah menggunakan program SPSS dengan metode Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) dan digambarkan dengan diagram Kartesius. Kesenjangan antara tingkat kepuasan dan kepentingan didapat berupa nilai GAP dengan indikator terbesar di bawah rata-rata yaitu permasalahan lahan parkir yang tersedia di Stasiun Jember.

Abstract

Adanya Jalan Tol Trans-Jawa menyebabkan waktu tempuh antara Surabaya-Jakarta atau Jakarta-Surabaya berkurang cukup signifikan. Saat ini dengan adanya Jalan Tol Trans-Jawa waktu tempuh dapat dicapai dengan waktu 11-13 jam. Studi mengenai pemilihan moda antara bus dan kereta api rute Surabaya-Jakarta perlu dilakukan untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui probabilitas penumpang yang bersedia berpindah moda. Data dalam penelitian ini didapatkan dari penyebaran kuesioner secara online (kondisi pandemi) menggunakan teknik stated preference dan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model binomial logit selisih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan probabilitas tertinggi terjadi pada moda bus dengan skenario selisih biaya perjalanan pada kondisi normal (X1) sebesar 60,21%, sedangkan selisih waktu perjalanan (X3) sebesar 76,69%, dan untuk waktu akses (X4) sebesar 60,53%.
