Abstract

The problem in this research is that the teachers have not carried out any independent action research to improve the learning quality and promotion. The purpose of this research is to analyze the actual model of classroom action research training for senior high school (SMA) teachers that have been carried out for years, to analyze the hypothetical model of an E-Module-based classroom action research training for high school teachers, and to analyze the final model of the E-Module-based classroom action research (CAR) training for SMA teachers. The method used in this study was research and development. The data were collected using interviews, documentation, observation, questionnaire, and test. The research results indicate that the final model of the E-Module-based classroom action research training is highly effective. The results of the extended trial show that the E-Module-based classroom action research training is able to properly facilitate teachers to implement and write a CAR research report independently and easily. E-Module-based CAR training assists teachers in understanding the CAR. This is understandable because E-Module-based CAR can be accessed anywhere and anytime through the Internet. The conclusion of this research is that E-Module-based CAR training makes it easy for teachers to conduct classroom action research because participants can access the E-Module via the browser.

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to find the final model of Civil Servant (PNS) entrepreneurship education and training (DIKLAT) management based on Achievement Motivation Training (PMB) which is suitable to be applied in the Human Resource Development Board of Central Java Province. This research employed a research and development (R & D) method. The ten (10) steps contained in the method were modified into three, namely the preliminary stage, the development stage, and the evaluation stage. The data source was civil servants who were attending the education and training program in the Human Resource Development Board of Central Java Province. Data were drawn from the respondents through interviews, open and closed questionnaires, observations, as well as pre and post test. The data were validated using validity and reliability tests. The effectiveness of the model was assessed using pre and post tests. The result of this research shows that the civil servant entrepreneurship education and training management model based on achievement motivation training is feasible to be applied in Regional Human Resources Development Board of Central Java Province. The effectiveness of the model is proven by the pre and post test results showing that it improves the need for achievement/n-Ach) from 5.27 to 8.10, the need for affiliation/n-Aff from 1.80 to 2.00, and the need for power/n-Pow motive from 4.63 to 5.27; there is an increase of each from medium to high category.

Abstract

Efforts to prepare better future generations through local character education based on local wisdom should be done since early childhood. The purpose of this research is to explain (1) the implementation of character education based on local wisdom, (2) character education management based on local wisdom, and (3) factors that influence the management of character education based on local wisdom. Data were drawn using (1) interviews, (2) participant observation, and (3) documentation techniques. The data were analyzed by means of an interactive model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data display, and inference. The results show that (1) the character values taught in PAUD KB Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyah Cirebon City adopt the kinship system which is one of the local cultural centers in Cirebon City. The local wisdom of the communities in Cirebon is derived from SGJ, especially the sayings of SGJ which imply piety, belief, discipline, wisdom, policy, decency, manners and social life; (2) the character education management that is based on the local wisdom includes planning, implementation, and supervision; (3) the supporting factors in the implementaton of the character education management include the government support, human resources, facilities, programmed activities, support of school residents, parents, and surrounding communities. The inhibiting factors include limited control of the school after the students are off school and the influence of the media. The local wisdom based character education is planned with reference to the school vision, i.e. "Forming a smart, good, skilled, and noble learner”. Character education can be integrated into every subject and linked to the context of everyday life. As a supervisor, the principal has supervised and guided the teacher periodically during each turn of the school year. The learning method that is based on local wisdom is in accordance with the reference of the Directorate of Early Childhood Education. The results of this study can be used as a reference for preparing and planning the management of local-based character education in early childhood education, and providing input for PAUD managers in developing and implementing the model of planning, implementation, and supervision of character education that is based on local wisdom.

Abstract

The background of this activity has occurred is water pollution in Kaligarang river. Therefore it is necessary efforts to protect the environment along the it. Exercising their activities consist of (1) Preparation, (2) Implementation, and (3) evaluation of the participants are young people in rural districts offense Sukorejo Gunungpati Semarang who live along the Kaligarang river who pass through the village. The event begins with a lecture about the pollution of the river and continued geoelectricity measurements at points predetermined. Geoelectricity measurement results obtained in the field of electric current and potential difference at the point of measurement points. Results showed that the participants in the activity have improved understanding of the geoelectric. It is characterized by the seriousness of the activity when participants perform geoelectric measurements, process data directly in the field. Based on the map sectional resistivity soil layer of field measurement data concluded that there has been a seepage of river water in the area Kaligarang community service activities but seepage is not cause contamination in the soil.

Abstract

ICT has transformed the conventional learning system into a modern learning system, demanding innovation in the delivery of learning. So that this study has the aim of developing, knowing the feasibility of online web-based learning and assessment tool in physics, as well as knowing students' learning results in the ICT media. This study research & development (R&D) method using Borg & Gall model. Which refers to the potential problem through data collection, product design, design validation, revision of product design, product testing, revision of usage. The feasibility testing of media and material was carried out by two material expert validators and two media expert validators with a small group trial conducted on students consisting of 13 respondents and large group trial conducted on students consisting of 40 respondents. We use online media for web-based learning and assessment tool in vocational high school for Physics subject, and the results of the study show that this application generates individual assignments, marks student responses, supplies students with the rapid feedback, and records student activities. The student activity log provides insight into student learning habits. Its a reference for assessment. This application meets the requirements as a learning media. The results of the validation by an expert material on online web-based learning and assessment tool gets a percentage of an average score of 82%, and the material gets a percentage of 81.33% criteria very feasible.

Abstract

The 4C-oriented 21st century competency education consists of critical thinking and problem solving, creativity, communication skills and Ability to Work Collaboratively. Guided inquiry learning strategy combined with scratch technology is needed to train students' critical thinking skills. The study aims to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills after being given Guided Inquiry assisted by Scratch media on the Linear Motion concept. The quasi-experimental study with the design of one group pre-post test design was conducted in class VIII B of SMP Negeri 1 Banjarharjo in the academic year 2018/2019. The pre-test results showed that 16.67% of students were categorized quite critical to very critical and 83.33% of students in the less critical category were not even critical. The post test results showed that 91.66% of students were categorized quite critical to very critical and 8.34% of students in the less critical category were not even critical. The results of data analysis also showed an increase in students' critical thinking skills by 0.56 with moderate criteria. The application of guided inquiry learning assisted by scratch media can train and increase students' critical thinking skills on the concept of linear motion.

Abstract

Abstrak. Pembelajaran jarak jauh membuat siswa kesulitan dalam belajar fisika yang abstrak sehingga diperlukan media yang menarik minat belajar siswa. Scratch merupakan salah satu media yang mendukung dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kelebihan dan kekurangan serta keterampilan computational thinking selama menggunakan media pembelajaran scratch pada fisika jenjang SMA. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Scratch mampu meningkatkan keterampilan computational thinking siswa karena didesain untuk mengembangkan kreatifitas dengan membuat animasi dan simulasi, kemampuan berpikir secara sistematis, kolaboratif dan dapat merealisasikan algoritma sehingga mampu menerapkan pola pikir logika yang dapat membuat konsep sederhana menjadi kompleks dalam pembelajaran fisika. Abstract. Distance education makes it difficult for students to learn abstract physics that is needed media that attracts students interesting. Scratch is one of the media that supports the implementation of this learning. The research aims to determine strengths and weaknesses, computational thinking skills while using media scratch in high school physics. The method used is a systematic literature review with qualitative descriptive analysis. Scratch can improve computational thinking skills because it develops creativity, think systematically, collaboratively, and realize algorithms made up apply logical thinking patterns that can make simple concepts complex in physics learning.

Abstract

The implementation of the 2013 curriculum led to several innovations in the learning process including using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This study aims to determine the interests and learning outcomes of students after being treated with the PBL model assisted by teaching aids. This type of research is a pre-experimental study with a one-shot case study design. The research sample consisted of 14 students of MA Uswatun Hasanah Semarang. The data collection technique used a written test instrument and a student interest questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the learning outcomes of students analyzed by the N-gain test have increased with an N-gain coefficient of 0.21 which is included in the low criteria. The percentage of students' interest in learning obtained an average result of 81.786% so that it is categorized as very good. The results also showed that the use of the PBL model resulted in 85% completeness of the learning outcomes of the Circular Motion material so it could be concluded that the PBL model assisted by teaching aids had an influence on the learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

Sektor industri perdagangan dan jasa memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap perekonomian Kota Semarang. Selain, menyumbang kontribusi terhadap PDRB Kota Semarang, juga menyerap tenaga kerja yang banyak. Seiring dengan perkembangan industri 4.0 yang mengarah pada teknologi tinggi (high-tech) dan penggunaan Internet Of Things (IOT), maka Sektor industri perdagangan dan jasa di Kota Semarang harus dapat menyesuaikan diri dan bersiap dengan perubahan mekanisme tersebut.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk (1) Mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis kesiapan stakeholder industri perdagangan dan jasa (industri, pemerintah daerah, masyarakat dan UMKM Perguruan Tinggi dan Media) dalam era industri 4.0. (2) Menyusun rekomendasi strategi yang dapat dilakukan oleh stakeholder industri perdagangan dan jasa dalam menghadapi perkembangan industri 4.0.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang bersifat explorative. Data yang digunakan adalah data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Dalam penelitian ini, data primer yang dibutuhkan mencakup; Survei kesiapan industri perdagangan dan jasa dengan enam indikator penilaian. Survei tersebut ditujukan kepada para pengusaha di bidang industri perdagangan dan jasa. Ada 2 metode analisis yang digunakan untuk menjawan pertanyaan dalam penelitian ini yaitu yang pertama adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif dan yang kedua adalah analisis SWOT.            Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Kesiapan sektor industri Kota Semarang dalam menghadapi era industri 4.0 berada pada level 3 atau experienced (berpengalaman) dengan nilai rata-rata 3,08. Hasil tersebut didorong oleh beberapa perusahaan berskala nasional yang berada di kawasan industri dengan cakupan pasar yang luas dan dalam proses produksi hingga distribusi telah menggunakan bantuan teknologi maupun mesin yang dapat dilakukan secara otomatis. Pemerintah daerah telah menerapkan sistem pelayanan kepada masyarakat secara Online dengan penerapan semarang smart city seperti Smart Governance, Smart Branding, Smart Economy, Smart Living, Smart Society, dan Smart Environment. Masyarakat Kota Semarang memiliki kesiapan dalam menghadapi industri 4.0 baik dinilai dari aspek IPM, pendidikan, garis kemiskinan dan indikator lainnya. Secara garis besar, UMKM di Kota Semarang belum siap dalam penerapan teknologi dalam kegiatan bisnisnya. Dari aspek produk dan layanan, UMKM yang telah menggunakan EDC (Electronic Data Capture) hanya baru 16% dan yang menggunakan metode pembayaran melalui fintech hanya 12%. Kemudian dari aspek model bisnis, UMKm yang telah menggunakan perangkat komputer hanya sekitar 28%,UMKM yang memiliki fasilitas jaringan internet sebesar 38% dan UMKM yang menggunakan mesin dan peralatan otomatis sekitar 41%. Selanjutnya dari aspek strategei dan organisasi, meskipun sebagian besar pelaku UMKM telah memiliki kecakapan dalam penggunaan teknologi, namun UMKM yang menggunakan transaksi non tunai baru sekitar 32%. Perguruan tinggi di Kota Semarang baik negeri maupun swasta telah siap dalam menghadapi era industri 4.0. hal ini dapat dilihat dari sudah tersedianya banyak perguruan tinggi yang telah memiliki kurikulum yang sesuai dengan era industri 4.0. Media massa di Kota Semarang belum sepenuhnya siap dalam menghadapi era industry 4.0, hal ini dapat dilihat dari belum semua media massa yang ada di Kota Semarang yang memiliki aplikasi berbasis smartphone di dalam menjalankan bisnisnya.

Abstract

Latar belakang masalah di era revolusi digital (Society 5.0 dan Revolusi Industri 4.0) untukpeningkatkan layanan pendidikan di sekolah, Lembaga pendidikan dikatakan berhasil apabila mampumemenuhi semua kebutuhan pelanggan (siswa, guru, orang tua, dan masyarakat). Rumusan masalah dantujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana informasi dalam pendidikan memanfaatkan sistem informasimanajemen sebagai penunjang layanan. Secara sederhana SIM merupakan sarana yang tepat yang dapatmengantarkan organisasi informasi mengkoordinasikan segenap aspek kebutuhan dalam peningkata mutupendidikan.Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan modelpengembangan Borg & Gall dengan langkah-langkah: (1) studi pendahuluan, (2) studi pengembangan, dan (3)tahap validasi model, (4) hasil model final, dan (5) uji coba terbatas. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalahpurposive sampling dengan sekolah yang menggunakan SIM di sekolah SMA Makassar. Hasil pengembanganmodel dalam penelitian ini adalah model layanan SIM berbasis Android untuk meningkatkan pelayanan mutuSMA Makassar, yang terdiri dari: 1) rasional, 2) visi dan misi, 3) tujuan, 4) isi/materi layanan SIM berbasisAndroid, 5) pendukung sistem, 6) prosedur pelaksanaan layanan, dan 7) evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Disarankandapat melaksanakan SIM yang lebih inovatif dan kreatif dengan layanan berbasis android, karena terbuktiefektif untuk meningkatkan layanan mutu pendidikan di SMA Makassar.
