Abstract

Literasi keuangan merupakan pemahaman akan keuangan dalam pengelolaan keuangan, pengambilan keputusan, dan mempertimbangkan pengeluaran yang akan digunakan. Literasi keuangan cukup penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari agar masyarakat bisa mengontrol keuangan pribadi dan keluarga. Tujuan dari sosialisasi ini adalah untuk meningkatkan literasi keuangan masyarakat sekitar. Metode yang digunakan berupa sosialisasi kepada ibu rumah tangga di Perumahan Bangas Permai Kota Palangka Raya. Alasan menjadikan ibu rumah tangga sebagai partisipan kegiatan ini adalah ibu rumah tangga memiliki peran penting dalam mengelola keuangan keluarga. Mereka juga yang biasanya mengelola keuangan keluarga, dari keperluan pokok hingga menabung. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah ibu rumah tangga menjadi paham cara mengelola keuangan dengan benar. Selain itu, mereka juga mengetahui produk investasi lain, seperti emas logam mulia dan saham. Mereka juga paham keuntungan apabila berinvestasi dalam bentuk emas logam mulia daripada emas perhiasan. Jadi, kesimpulannya adalah ibu rumah tangga di Perumahan Bangas Permai Kota Palangka Raya sudah memahami pentingnya pengelolaan keuangan yang benar, cara berinvestasi yang benar, dan produk-produk investasi. Kata kunci: Literasi keuangan, investasi, emas.

Abstract

Mastery of the ChemDraw application is an important skill for chemistry students in supporting academic activities, especially in drawing chemical structures and reactions. However, not all students have the opportunity to learn this application formally. This service activity aims to provide training in the use of ChemDraw online to chemistry students by utilizing digital media. The implementation method includes an interactive workshop approach through Zoom, Google Meet, and social media as a means of disseminating information and documentation. The results showed that the training was effective in improving participants' understanding and skills in using ChemDraw. Digital media proved to be an efficient and flexible tool for training computer-based applications. This activity supports the improvement of students' digital literacy and 21st century skills.

Abstract

This study aims to increase students' interest and understanding of chemistry through socialization and improvement of Fun Chemistry. The methods used include delivering material about the field of Chemistry and job prospects, as well as simple chemical experiments such as Secret Messages and Elephant Toothpaste. The results of the study showed that this activity succeeded in increasing students' interest in Chemistry, with most students considering continuing their studies in the Chemistry department. The evaluation showed a positive impact on students' motivation and interest in entering and studying in the Chemistry department..

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of social activities by the 1000 Teachers Gorontalo Community, focusing on the Traveling and Teaching (TNT) program and free health check-ups in Atinggola District, North Gorontalo Regency. This community collaborates with volunteers and medical personnel to provide enjoyable education for children in remote areas and raise health awareness through free check-ups. A descriptive qualitative approach was used to understand the implementation of the program and its impact on the community through observation, in-depth interviews, and surveys. The results show that the TNT program, which combines education and tourism, successfully strengthened the relationship between volunteers and the community. The health check-ups provided direct benefits to communities that have difficulty accessing health services. The evaluation of this program revealed challenges such as limited time and medical personnel, but it still had a positive impact on improving the quality of education and health in the local community

Abstract

One of Aceh's qanuns that regulates the method of election and conditions of geuchik is Aceh Qanun No. 4 of 2009 on the Procedures for the Election and Dismissal of Keuchik in Aceh. This research highlights the criteria for a proper village head/Keuchik in accordance with the legal provisions of the qanun. This study aims to describe the understanding of the community and the Keuchik Election Committee (P2K) of the provisions of the nomination of village heads and the implementation of the determination of candidates for village heads in Pulo Reudeup Village, Kuta Blang District, Bireuen Regency. The research method uses a qualitative approach through interviews and documentation. The results showed that the community's understanding of the nomination requirements was good, but the election mechanism was still poorly understood. The implementation of the determination of village head candidates needs to be improved to be in accordance with the applicable qanun.

Abstract

This study aims to review various methods and applications of the ethnochemistry approach in chemistry education through a literature review. Ethnochemistry connects chemical concepts with local wisdom and culture, providing deeper contextualization for students. The literature review was conducted by collecting data from various articles relevant to this topic, published between 2018 and 2024. The review results indicate that integrating ethnochemistry into chemistry learning can enhance students' understanding of chemical concepts, scientific skills, creativity, and engagement. This approach also helps preserve traditional chemical knowledge that may otherwise be lost. This study concludes that ethnochemistry is a significant innovation that can improve the quality of chemistry education in a more meaningful and relevant way for students, while also strengthening their cultural identity.

Abstract

This study focuses on the effect of applying the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model in the topic of reaction rate on the ability to think critically and the formation of character values of students in geographically remote areas (remote areas). This approach is designed to strengthen learners' understanding of scientific concepts in a relevant and contextual manner, by connecting them to the dynamics of real life - both in the personal, social and cultural domains. Thus, learners have the opportunity to build conceptual insights and adaptive skills independently. In addition, this real situation-based method contributes to fostering character values such as responsibility, discipline, innovation, curiosity, as well as social interaction skills and effective communication during the learning process. The literature review was conducted by collecting scientific publications released between 2018 and 2025. The findings of this review confirmed that the CTL approach has a real positive impact in honing critical thinking skills and fostering learners' character that supports their academic achievement. Therefore, it can be concluded that CTL is an efficient and relevant pedagogical method to be applied in teaching high school chemistry.

Abstract

The results of observations on Class VII students of National Junior High School teaching and learning activities only run theoretically and are not related to the real environment where students are located. The incompleteness of student learning outcomes, one of which is the selection of learning methods that are not appropriate, learning media are less attractive and the level of student activity is low. The purpose of the study was to improve student learning outcomes through the Picture and Student Active (PASA) model with a Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to the seventh grade students of the Makassar National Junior High School. This research is classroom action research with 2 cycles, namely the stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. The data collection instrument used observation sheets and test questions. The success indicator is 85% with an acquisition score of 75. The results show that the Picture and Student Active (PASA) Model with this Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach, can improve biology learning outcomes in class VII students of Makassar National Junior High School which is marked by an increase in the category student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. In the first cycle is in the category of 20 people or 50% and in the second cycle is in the high category that is 40 people or 100% and the completeness of learning outcomes in the first cycle is 20 people or 50% and the second cycle is 40 people or 100%..

Abstract

Rusaknya lingkungan akibat sampah pakaian/kain dapat melalui berbagai cara, mulai dari penggunaan pewarna, bahan yang tersisa sampai gas buang  hasil produksi yang mencemari udara. Menyadari dampak dari sampah tekstil baik dari proses industri dan gaya hidup maka perlu semua pihak lebih bijak dalam pengelolaan sampah pakaian. Salah satu pengelolaan sampah kain adalah dengan prinsip recycle, yaitu dengan memanfaatkan sisa kain menjadi  tas belanja. Tas belanja yang terbuat dari kain ini memiliki banyak manfaat, terutama dalam hal lingkungan. Dengan tas belanja kain ini tidak perlu lagi menggunakan kantong plastik, sehingga penggunaan kantong plastik akan berkurang. Maraknya penggunaan tas belanja dari kain akan menyebabkan berkurangnya limbah dari sisa kain (kain perca), karena limbah tersebut digunakan untuk pembuatan tas belanja dari kain. Selain mengurangi sampah plastik dan kain, tas belanja juga memiliki nilai ekonomis. Peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat akan lingkungan menyebabkan masyarakat lebih memilih tas belanja dari kain, sehingga akan banyak permintaan akan tas tersebut yang akan meningkatkan produsen atau UMKM yang akan memproduksi tas belanja dari kain. Berdasarkan permasalahan ini maka tim pengabdian masyarakat Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya mengadakan pelatihan kepada masyarakat. Pelatihan ini ditujukan kepada peserta didik SMKN 3 jurusan Tata Busana. Pelatihan ini untuk membimbing para peserta didik memproduksi tas belanja yang ramah lingkungan dan cara memasarkan secara efektif dan efisien.  Kata Kunci: lingkungan, diet plastik, wirausaha, pemasaran, psikologi

Abstract

The purpose of this study is "To analyze the obstacles faced by science teachers in implementing the 2013 curriculum in private schools in Makassar. Data collection techniques are carried out by: (1) distribution of questionnaires, (2) interviews, (3) documentation, how to collect samples by purposive sampling techniques. While the data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive analysis.The results showed that from the three schools where the research was located with reference to three aspects including aspects of learning planning, aspects of learning implementation, and aspects of learning evaluation, an average score of 9.75 was obtained on the planning aspect which showed the highest obstacles in the indicator of understanding and compiling the syllabus structure in the 2013 curriculum which was included in the category of many obstacles, while the lowest obstacle in the indicator determined the learning method that falls into the category of very few obstacles. This means that in this aspect of planning, teachers experience quite a lot of obstacles. In the aspect of learning implementation, the same score was obtained, which was an average of 9.75 which showed the highest obstacle on the indicator of understanding of the basic concepts of the scientific approach which was included in the category of many obstacles, while the lowest obstacle on the indicator of carrying out preliminary activities with a scientific approach, and the application of 5M in the learning process according to the scientific approach which was included in the category of very few obstacles. This means that in this aspect there are also quite a lot of obstacles, while for the learning evaluation aspect, there is a slight increase in score, which is an average of 12.77. There is an increase in scores in the aspect of learning evaluation because generally teachers still experience many obstacles in understanding the concept of authentic assessment, processing and presenting grades in the form of report cards, and conducting assessments through the realm of attitudes. This means that in this aspect of evaluation, science teachers also experience quite a lot of obstacles in implementing the 2013 curriculum.
