Abstract

Penelitian ini menyelidiki pengaruh keahlian, kejujuran, dan identifikasi selebriti terhadap niat pembelian konsumen terhadap produk sepatu olahraga. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah berusia minimal 17 tahun dan tertarik untuk membeli sepatu Ortuseight setelah melihat celebrity endorser di Instagram, TikTok, dan YouTub. Penelitian ini melibatkan sejumlah 120 responden dengan teknik sampling menggunakan puroposive sampling dan  Warp PLS sebagai alat analisa. Bertindak sebagai endoser sepatu olah raga adalah dr.Tirta. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa keahlian, kejujuran, dan identifikasi selebriti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap niat pembelian konsumen terhadap produk sepatu olahraga. Penting bagi pemiliki merek untuk memilih endorser yang sesuai dan kredibel dalam kegiatan promosi produk.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of organizational commitment as a mediator between compensation, motivation, and performance of PPNPN employees at the Pusdatin of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, with a sample of 48 employees using a saturated sampling technique. The role of PPNPN is important to study because it will be able to explain its contribution to the performance of government agencies because PPNPN performance is measured through plans and performance targets made by employees and must be achieved within a certain period of time or what is commonly referred to as Employee Performance Targets (SKP). Performance targets made at the beginning of the year will then be assessed at the end of the year and their compliance with the predetermined targets will be assessed. The analysis technique used is SEM-PLS with the WarpPLS 8.0 program, and data was collected through a Google Form questionnaire. The results of the study indicate that compensation does not have a significant effect on employee performance, while motivation and organizational commitment have a significant positive effect on performance. Organizational commitment also mediates the effect of compensation and motivation on employee performance. The implication of this study is the importance of programs to improve organizational commitment and PPNPN motivation in order to encourage employee performance.

Abstract

Service failure is often inevitable; it affects the levels of satisfaction, trust, and WOM. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of service recovery, by using distributive, procedural, and interactional justice approaches, on students’ satisfaction, trust, and WOM communication at different categories of private universities in East Java. The population is private universities classified in different levels of categories: excellent category, flagship category, and Non-flagship category. The unit analysis is 80-81 students for each university; its total sample is 242 students. Sampling by using an accidental sampling technique, which is based on coincidence. Data analysis using regression assisted by SPSS and WarpPLS program. The results of this study provide university managers in the deep understanding for that service recovery should always be the focus of attention. It is provided that service recovery has an insignificant effect either directly or indirectly on satisfaction, trust, and word of mouth.

Abstract

This study aims to critically examine the application of the hermeneutic approach in interpreting the verses of the Qur'an relating to education. In the modern context, hermeneutics is certainly seen as an alternative method of interpretation that seeks to connect the text, context, and subjectivity of the reader in order to gain a more relevant understanding of the educational values in the Qur'an. The research method used is descriptive qualitative based on literature studies as a step to visualize and analyze related to the study in this study to trace the history of hermeneutics, variants in hermeneutics, figures of Qur'anic hermeneutics in interpreting educational verses, and how the polemics that occur between groups that are pro-hermeneutics and against it. The results of the research that can be presented in this study are that the hermeneutic method can contribute to enriching the discourse of interpretation so that it can open space for a more dynamic and contextual understanding of educational verses such as Qs. Al-Alaq verses 1-5, Qs. Al-Mujadalah verse 11, Qs. Luqman verse 13, Qs. Al-Ahzab verse 21, and Qs. An-Nahl verse 125. However, in this case, caution is needed to maintain the integrity of the meaning contained in the text itself, especially the text of the Qur'an. With this research, the author certainly hopes it will be a valuable contribution as an interpretation methodology that is appropriate to the challenges of the future.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the impact of the implementation of E-Government on employee performance in the Sawahan District of Surabaya, considering the moderating effects of age and gender. E-Government is regarded as a significant innovation in enhancing the efficiency and transparency of public services. The study employs a quantitative approach, utilising data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to 100 employees in the Sawahan District. Data analysis is conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The findings of this research conclude that the implementation of E-Government significantly enhances employee performance in the Sawahan District. Age may act as a factor that weakens this influence, whereas gender may serve to strengthen it. Recommendations for future research include expanding the sample size and considering specific training for older employees to improve their adaptation to technology. The limitations of this study include a sample that is confined solely to employees in the Sawahan District, which may not represent the entire population of employees in Surabaya or other regions, as well as an imbalanced proportion of age and gender. It is suggested that future research involve a more diverse sample and implement training programmes for older employees to facilitate better adaptation to the E-Government system.

Abstract

This research aims to test and analyze the influence of risk perception on trust, trust in E-WOM and purchase intentions of Shopee users. This type of research is quantitative with a relational approach. The population of this research is Shopee users and the sample is Shopee users in Surabaya. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with certain criteria and a sample size of 155 respondents. Data was collected through a questionnaire with five Likert scale measurements for all variables. This research uses Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Validity and reliability tests have been carried out, the results are that all indicators are valid, and all variables are declared reliable. The research results confirm that perceptions of perceived risk have a negative and significant effect on trust, trust has a significant positive effect on E-WOM and purchase intentions of Shopee users. This research shows that Shopee users really consider risk when buying products on Shopee, apart from that trust is an important factor in E-WOM and also purchase intention.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation and performance allowances on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at the Simomulyo and Tanjungsari Community Health Centers in Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method using questionnaires administered to 126 respondents. Data analysis techniques use Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through the SmartPLS 4.1.1.4 application. The results of the study indicate that work motivation and performance-based allowances have a direct and significant influence on job satisfaction and employee performance. Additionally, job satisfaction is proven to act as a mediating variable in the relationship between motivation and allowances on employee performance. This study recommends the importance of strategies to enhance motivation and a fair benefits system, as well as strengthening job satisfaction, in efforts to improve employee performance.

Abstract

UKM Yulifood merupakan salah satu UKM kuliner yang berlokasi di Surabaya Barat, dengan produk makanan dan minuman olahan. Walaupun mengalami perkembangan yang baik, UKM Yulifood dihadapkan pada tingkat persaingan yang semakin tajam, sehingga diperlukan terobosan baru untuk meningkatkan penjualan produknya. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan diskusi yang dilakukan oleh tim pengabdian masyarakat Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas pada pemilik UKM Yulifood, diperoleh informasi bahwa menghadapi persaingan yang semakin tajam, salah satu strategi yang dapat dilakukan adalah meningkatkan kualitas kemasan produk. Selama ini kemasan produk mitra masih sederhana, menggunakan kemasan plastik. Kemasan yang sederhana ini dirasa kurang menarik dan dapat berdampak pada kurangnya minat membeli. Berdasarkan kondisi yang dihadapi mitra dan informasi dari berbagai literatur bahwa kualitas kemasan produk berperan penting dalam meningkatkan penjualan, maka pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan memberikan pendampingan, yaitu: 1) meningkatkan pemahaman kemasan produk, dan 2) membantu merancang kemasan baru produk mitra. Pelaksanaan pendampingan dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu pra-pendampingan, pendampingan, dan pelaporan. Materi pendampingan dikelompokkan menjadi dua, yaitu materi pemahaman kemasan produk, dan materi perancangan desain kemasan produk. Hasil pendampingan adalah adanya peningkatan pemahaman mitra akan pentingnya kemasan produk, dan alternatif rancangan baru kemasan produk yang ditawarkan kepada mitra.

Abstract

Dalam mendukung visi pendidikan Indonesia, Kementrian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset dan Terknologi mengeluarkan kurikulum merdeka belajar. Keterkaitan antara Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) serta Kurikulum Merdeka Proyek adalah program P5 jadi salah satu penerapan dari Kurikulum Merdeka yang berupaya buat menumbuhkan kepribadian serta nilai- nilai Pancasila pada partisipan didik. SMA Antartika merupakan salah satu SMA swasta di Sidoarjo yang ingin mendukung Kurikulum Merdeka, selain itu para guru juga merasakan kurangnya potensi siswa SMA Antartika Sidoarjo dalam aspek personality development terutama dibidang soft skill. Tim pengabdian masyarakat memberikan solusi dengan melakukan pelatihan terkait personality development yang menyangkut growth mindset, communication skill, attitude, dan teamwork. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan pada 23 Januari 2024, berlokasi di aula SMA Antartika Sidoarjo dan diikuti oleh 80 siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah presentasi, diskusi, dan melakukan evaluasi dari pengisian pre-test dan post-test. 100% peserta pelatihan menunjukkan kemampuan dalam menyerap ilmu dan materi yang dipaparkan oleh narasumber, terbukti dari adanya kenaikan hasil evaluasi pre-test dan post-test. Hasil evaluasi tersebut juga ditunjukkan dengan hasil uji t yang terbukti signifikan artinya pelatihan Personality Development ini memiliki pengaruh dan mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan setelah mengikuti pelatihan tersebut.
