Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidak adanya pengaruh dari metode bermain peran mikro terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun di Dusun Aikprapa Kecamatan Aikmel tahun 2021. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif komparatif. Menggunakan metode eksperiment yaitu pre eksperimental design dengan bentuk group pretest–posttest design. Subjek penelitian 8 orang anak usia 5-6 tahun, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pemberian treatment, observasi menggunakan instrumen penelitian, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode statistik non-parametris dan uji Wilcoxon. Berdasarkan hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun di Dusun Aikprapa Kecamatan Aikmel sebelum diberikan perlakuan menggunakan metode bermain peran mikro diperoleh hasil pre-test anak dengan skor rata-rata 53,62% yaitu perkembangan kognitif anak berada pada kriteria kurang berkembang. Setelah diberikan perlakuan menggunakan metode bermain peran dapat diperoleh data post-test dengan skor rata-rata 85,12% yaitu perkembangan kognitif anak berada pada kriteria cukup berkembang. Hasil Whitung = 6 dan Wtabel = 0, sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh metode bermain peran mikro terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun di dusun Aikprapa kecamatan Aikmel tahun 2021.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kognitif anak melalui pengembangan media flashcard anak usia 4-5 Tahun di Dusun Waker Desa Puyung Kecamatan Jonggat Kabupaten Lombok Tengah Tahun 2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pengembangan dengan mengacu pada Borg & Gall. Subyek penelitian ialah anak usia 4-5 tahun di Dusun Waker DesaPuyung. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunaka nmetode observasi dokumentasi. Teknis analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian menggunakan tahap pengembangan dengan enam kali pertemuan. Setiap tahap terjadi peningkatan dengan cara memodifikasi alat dan bahan dari media yang digunakan. Hasil yang diperoleh pada tahap pengembangan I (pertemuan I) memperoleh nilai persentase sebesar (54,27%). Terjadi peningkatan di tahap I (pertemuan II) sebesar (60,81%), pada tahap pengembangan II (pertemuan III) meningkat lagi mencapai (66,23%), pada tahap pengembangan II (pertemuan IV) sebesar (73,82%), di tahap pengembangan III (pertemuan V) sebesar (79,26%), tahap pengembangan III (pertemuan VI atau terakhir) sebesar (89,02%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dengan mengembangkan media flash card dapat meningkatkan perkembangan kognitf anak dari nilai 54,27 menjadi 89,02. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media flash card dapat mengembangkan kognitif anak usia 4-5 tahun di Desa Puyung.

Abstract

Fun Cooking is a cooking activity that is delivered in a fun and simple way depends on the characteristics of early childhood to help their growth and development stimulation process, especially in cognitive aspect that is closely related to reasoning and thinking as well as in socio-emotional aspects related to their behavior and process of adjustment with their environment. As a result, this study was designed at determining the role of fun cooking activities in improving the cognitive and socio-emotional aspects of children. Qualitative Descriptive Method was applied with two children aged 4-5 years with different sexes and coming from Rumak Barat Utara hamlet as the subjects of the data. Furthermore, along the process of data analysis this research used qualitative descriptive analytic in which the data that has been collected will be classified based on their respective groups and analyzed by analytical inductive in order to deduce the conclusions. After the activity is implemented, it is known that Fun Cooking can play a positive role in the cognitive aspects, in classifying, counting, pointing out large and small groups and being able to think about forming dough according to their ideas. On the socio-emotional aspect, it can stimulate cooperation, self-confidence, respecting others, help and sharing in understanding the rules and discipline. Therefore, as the application suggestion, teachers can arrange tools and materials randomly earlier in optimizing the stimulation of children's logical thinking.

Abstract

Monopoly game is a game developed and played on a game board that has been designed according to the development needs of children aged 5-6 years with a plant theme consisting of two dice, a red card deck, green card, number card, letter card and money as a medium of exchange. The data collection method used is the method of observation, documentation and expert testing. This study applies a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques using triangulation. The data were analyzed qualitatively. The subjects of this study were children aged 5-6 years in Gerantung Subdistrict, Praya Tengah Subdistrict, to determine the cognitive, language and social emotional abilities of early childhood using developed monopoly games. The results of game trials on subjects with four children aged 5-6 years resulted in changes in the steps and ways of playing so that they are appropriate for use in children. The result of this research is the development of monopoly game which consists of 17 game steps. Based on the effectiveness test in measuring the cognitive, language and social emotional abilities of children aged 5-6 years, it is found that this monopoly game can improve cognitive abilities with high categories, language skills with categories. moderate and high category of children's emotional social skills. From the results of the game effectiveness test as a group showed that 100% of the subjects experienced an increase in cognitive, language and social emotional abilities.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the Covid-19 Pandemic which requires learning from home. The purpose of this study was to find out how the social emotional development ofchildren during the implementation of learning from home during the Covid-19 pandemic in Presak Baru Hamlet, Menemeng Village, Pringgarata District, Central Lombok. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. The subjects of this study were children aged 5-6 years as many as 5 children. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis.The result showed that from the 5 children studied there was 1 child who was BSB (Developing Very Well) and 4 other children in the BSH category (Developing According to Expectations). During the pandemic, parents have different ways of developing their children’s social and emotional aspects, such as: inviting them to do daily routines, inviting them to study together, and inviting gymnastics and singing. So, it can be concluded that the social emotional development of children during learning at home during the Covid-19 period in Presak Baru Hamlet, and of course parents and teachers have an important role during the learning process from home.

Abstract

Research on single parenting in the socio-emotional development of children aged 5-6 years was conducted with the aim of knowing parenting, its application and the factors that influence it. Single parent care is parenting carried out by single parents and social emotional development is the interaction of children with parents, as well as the wider community. This research was conducted because there are many cases of single parents that affect the social emotional development of children. This research was conducted at Sekarbela Mataram City in 2021. This type of research used descriptive qualitative research. The approach used in this research is a case study. The research subjects consisted of 2 boys and 2 girls aged 5-6 years. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the research on the emotional social behavior of children aged 5-6 years in Sekarbela Mataram City, the subject is that the indicators are not yet developed (BB) children have not been able to solve problems in the games they are playing and cannot distinguish between their rights and obligations. Furthermore, on the indicator of starting to develop (MB) the child begins to avoid games that are not good for him. On the indicator of developing as expected (BSH) children are able to eat and drink on their own and on the indicator of very well developed (BSB) children are able to play alone without being accompanied by parents due to the lack of complete parental care.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi asesmen kurikulum paradigma baru dalam pengembangan literasi numerasi dasar anak kelompok B di TK PHIP Mataram. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 9 anak dengan bentuk group prestest pos test. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini metode deksriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dengan teknik analisis data berupa Paired samples t-test dengan bantuan SPSS versi 25 dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil nilai sign. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil uji t-test menggunakan bantuan SPSS versi 25 menunjukkan perbedaan pada hasil pretest dan post test terhadap perkembangan literasi dan numerasi. Perkembangan literasi dan numerasi anak kelompok B meningkat setelah implementasi asesmen kurikulum paradigma baru/kurikulum merdeka. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan melihat hasil rata-rata pretest perkembangan literasi 54%, dan rata-rata hasil post test perkembangan literasi 97% dan untuk  rata-rata hasil pretest perkembangan numerasi 42%, dan rata-rata hasil post test perkembangan numerasi 85%. Oleh karena itu setelah implementasi asessmen kurikulum paradigma baru/kurikulum merdeka dapat meningkatkan perkembangan literasi dan numerasi dasar anak kelompok B di TK PHIP Mataram.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of diagnostic assessment and formative assessment to the quality of early childhood learning. Based on the conditions at TK Al-Hikmah, diagnostic and formative assessments have not been implemented consistently and systematically in the learning process. Previous studies have mostly discussed the two types of assessment separately, so there is still limited research examining their simultaneous contribution to the quality of early childhood learning. This study employed an ex post facto approach with a quantitative method and correlational technique. The research subjects were early childhood learners, while the data collection technique was carried out using questionnaires. Data analysis used descriptive and inferential statistics through multiple linear regression. The results showed that diagnostic assessment and formative assessment simultaneously contributed significantly to the quality of early childhood learning. This indicates that the integrated implementation of both types of assessment can support the improvement of learning quality more optimally. In addition, partially, diagnostic assessment made a significant contribution to the quality of early childhood learning, meaning that the better the implementation of diagnostic assessment, the higher the quality of learning. Formative assessment also made a significant contribution to the quality of early childhood learning, indicating that the proper implementation of formative assessment can support a more effective learning process. Thus, it can be concluded that diagnostic assessment and formative assessment play an important role in improving the quality of early childhood learning, both simultaneously and partially. Therefore, educators are encouraged to improve their competence in designing and implementing diagnostic and formative assessments through training and professional development to support the improvement of the quality of early childhood learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the School Field Introduction Program (Program Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan/PLP) in developing the social and professional competencies of prospective Early Childhood Education (PAUD) teachers. The study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design and was conducted at three partner PAUD institutions, namely TK Al-Banna, TK DWP Dikpora Ampenan, and TK Nurul Iman Sekarbela. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis process involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that the implementation of PLP included observation activities, teaching assistance, and guided teaching practice. The program contributed to the development of students’ social competencies, as reflected in their communication skills, collaboration, empathy, and adaptability within the school environment. In addition, PLP also played a significant role in enhancing students’ professional competencies, particularly in mastering learning materials, planning and implementing instruction, classroom management, and understanding child development assessment. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the School Field Introduction Program (PLP) plays an important role in preparing university students to become prospective PAUD teachers with strong social and professional competencies.

Abstract

The results of observations on elementary school teachers’ ability to plan and implement developmental research indicate that these competencies remain very low, particularly in terms of conceptual mastery and the preparation of developmental research plans. This condition is further supported by previous studies reporting that continuing professional development activities are still very weak in the area of scientific research. The objective of this community service program (PKM) was to improve elementary school teachers’ mastery of developmental research concepts and their skills in preparing developmental research plans in the city of Mataram. The methods applied included: (1) case-based learning to instil concepts and theories of developmental research; (2) workshop methods to enhance scientific attitudes; and (3) project-based activities to develop skills in preparing developmental research plans. The target participants consisted of 20 teachers representing elementary schools in the city of Mataram. The outcomes of the PKM activities were evaluated using observation techniques, including observations of improvements in conceptual and theoretical mastery and assessments of the proposal products of developmental research. The results of the PKM showed: (1) an increase in the average percentage of knowledge mastery from 64.65% before the PKM activities to 81.55% after the activities; (2) an improvement in scientific attitudes from an average of 65.90% before the workshop to 82.95% after the workshop; and (3) an increase in skills in preparing developmental research plans from an average of 65.85% before the project-based proposal development activities to 82.20% after the activities. It can be concluded that the PKM activities were effective in improving knowledge, scientific attitudes, and skills in preparing developmental research proposals oriented toward the quality of learning among elementary school teachers in the city of Mataram. It is expected that the participants will implement and disseminate the outcomes of this PKM to teachers in their respective schools.
