Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis strategi pemasaran produk asuransi PT. BRI Insurance (Persero) Cabang Medan meningkatkan penjualan. Selain analisis melalui penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang meliputi bauran pasar (product, price, place, promotion), analisis SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) dan matriks IE juga digunakan. Analisis SWOT adalah analisis kekuatan dan kelemahan perusahaan yang dilakukan dengan mengevaluasi kondisi internal perusahaan dan mengevaluasi faktor eksternal perusahaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan skor IFAS 3,10 yang menunjukkan reputasi internal yang kuat dan skor EFAS 2,98 menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan menanggapi peluang yang ada dan menghindari ancaman di pasar. Pada matriks IE menurut hasil perhitungan IFAS dengan skor total 3,10 dan skor total EFAS 2,98, diubah menjadi gambar tabel matriks IE berada pada kotak 4 yaitu stabilitas. Diagram Cartesius menunjukkan posisi perusahaan pada kuadran II atau diversifikasi strategis. Rekomendasi strategi yang ditawarkan berfungsi untuk mendiversifikasi produk atau strategi pemasaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Integrated Marketing Communication on Brand Equity at PT. Bank Sumut Syariah Tebing Tinggi Branch Office uses Advertising, Direct Marketing, Sales Promotion, Public Relations, Events and experience variables. This study used a quantitative technique with a sample of 100 customers. The data analysis technique used in this study includes classic assumption testing and hypothesis testing whose test results are managed using the SPSS 22 program. The results of the study explain that advertising variables partially have a positive and substantial effect on brand equity, so direct marketing variables partially have a negative and substantial effect on Brand Equity. The sales promotion variable has a somewhat positive effect on Brand Equity. The public relations variable has a positive and significant effect on Brand Equity. Event and experience factors partially affect brand equity positively and significantly. Advertising, direct marketing, sales promotion, public relations, events and shared experiences (Test F) have a higher value on brand equity.

Abstract

This study aims to see and analyze the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction at PT. Bank SUMUT KCP Sharia Trading in Simalungun Regency using the Index Potential Gain Customer Value method. The research method used in this study is the PGCV method. In addition to supporting this method, a quantitative approach is also used in this study to strengthen the research results. The sample used was 100 people, with a Likert scale-based questionnaire for data collection. Based on the results of the tests conducted, it is said that service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction as evidenced by t count 10.578 t table 1.984 with a significance value of 0.000 0.05. As well as with the help of Cartesian diagrams the customer's top priority, namely quadrants I and II which are considered influential for the customer. Quadrant I includes (R2, R3, R5, T3, E3) services must be improved to support customer satisfaction at PT. Bank Sumut Trade Sharia KCP Simalungun Regency.

Abstract

Sharia insurance is an attempt to protect and help each other between a number of people or parties through the investment of assets and tabaruk which provide a return pattern for dealing with certain risks through sharia-compliant contracts. This study aims to determine the development of the independent variable, namely the development of sharia insurance companies in Medan City and the dependent variable, namely during the post-Covid-19 pandemic (Case Study at PT. Asuransi Jiwa Bumiputera Syariah Medan City). This study uses a qualitative approach, the data used are primary data in the form of income from the Sharia Life Insurance of PT. AJS Bumiputera Medan. The results of this study indicate that the development of Islamic Insurance in Medan City during the post-Covid-19 pandemic fluctuated every year. Where in 2019-2021 there was a significant increase while in 2022 there was also a significant decrease. The factor that most influenced the rate of decline was the Covid-19 outbreak that occurred in 2019 and continued into 2021.

Abstract

Lembaga keuangan dituntut untuk lebih fokus pada kepuasan pelanggan, kualitas layanan, dan kualitas produk akibat saat ini persaingan semakin banyak. Akibatnya, bank termotivasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk, pelayanan, dan relationship marketing untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan dan mendapatkan loyalitas mereka. Kualitas produk, kualitas pelayanan, dan relationship marketing diidentifikasi sebagai variabel independen pada penelitian ini, sedangkan loyalitas nasabah diidentifikasi sebagai variabel dependen. Alasan dilakukannya eksplorasi ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana dampak kualitas produk, kualitas pelayanan, dan relationsip marketing Bank Syariah PT. BPRS Puduarta Insani Tembung terhadap loyalitas nasabah. Dengan menggunakan metodologi kuantitatif, penelitian ini yaitu penelitian lapangan. Data primer ditangani karena penelitian ini yaitu informasi langsung kemudian diperiksa melalui program SPSS 25. Pengumpulan informasi diperoleh melalui angket yang disampaikan kepada 90 responden. Metode pengambilan sampel yang dipakai agar menjabarkan data karena studi ini yaitu dengan memakai regresi linier berganda. Kualitas produk (X1), Kualitas Pelayanan (X2), dan RelationshipMarketing (X3) semuanya ditemukan memiliki dampak positif dan penting pada Loyalitas Nasabah (Y).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an influence of at least 1 variable from personality factors, social factors, family environmental factors and educational factors on entrepreneurship decisions in students of North Sumatra University, Medan State University, North Sumatra State Islamic University, North Sumatra Muhammadiyah University and University Medan Ganesha Polytechnic. This research was conducted using 135 respondents. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the most influential variable on the entrepreneurship decisions of Medan city students was social factors. The influence of the next variables sequentially are personality factors, family environment factors and educational factors. The results of this study also show that all variables have a positive and significant influence on the entrepreneurship decisions of Medan city students.

Abstract

The use of technology has changed many aspects of human life, including in the world of education. One of the most popular and widely used technologies in learning is augmented reality. (AR). Augmented reality is a technology that allows users to combine the real world with virtual elements, such as images, audio, or video, thus creating a more interactive and in-depth experience. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research approach and check-lists are used as a research tool. Data collection tools that use a likert scale of questions and answers often provide a spectrum of attitudes that range from “very agree” to “very disagree” with the stated facts. This data collection is built on Google Forms and is used to collect information from respondents. Based on research on the application of AR to the teaching of information search techniques, it can be concluded that the use of AR in education triggers students’ interest and makes them enthusiastic about learning, and is necessary for some subjects (such as an introduction to computer architecture) because it helps them visualize abstract concepts. As a result, students will have easier time to access and understand Augmented Reality (AR)-based instruction on the fundamentals of hard-core computing hardware, and educators will have access to a range of more effective teaching tools. Research on the effectiveness of Augmented Reality (AR) in the classroom shows that this method of information delivery has great potential for further study and development; therefore, it is expected that AR will be increasingly used in classrooms in the future, especially at all levels of education.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is so that we can find out whether there is an influence of the audit committee and sharia supervisory board on earnings management. The research method uses a quantitative approach with the use of secondary data processed through the SPSS Version 25 software system. The results of the test prove whether the audit committee partially has no effect on earnings management in sharia banking. This is shown from the results of the t test in table 4.8, which shows that the calculated t value in the audit committee is -0.907 and a significance level of 0.369. With a tcount value (-0.907) < ttable (1.672) and a significant value (0.369) > 0.05. Partially, the sharia supervisory board has no influence on earnings management in sharia banking. This is shown from the results of the t test in table 4.8. The calculated t value for the sharia supervisory board is 1.007 and the degree of significance is 0.320. With a tcount value (1.007) < ttable (1.672) and a significant value (0.320) > 0.05. Simultaneously the audit committee and sharia supervisory board have no influence on earnings management in sharia banking. This is reinforced by the results of the F test in table 4.9. The calculated F value for the audit committee and sharia supervisory board is 0.767 with a significance level of 0.470. With a value of Fcount (0.767) < Ftable (3.159) with a significance value of (0.470) > 0.05. So it can be concluded that the audit committee has no effect on earnings management and the sharia supervisory board has no effect on earnings management and the audit committee and sharia supervisory board have an effect on the profitability of earnings management.

Abstract

Partisipasi masyarakat dalam proses legislasi lokal merupakan unsur kunci dalam memperkuat demokrasi yang inklusif dan pemerintahan yang berbasis rakyat. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menggali dan menganalisis peran kantor Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) dalam memfasilitasi dan mendorong partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam proses pembuatan kebijakan di tingkat lokal. Mengeksplorasi berbagai strategi dan inisiatif yang diimplementasikan oleh kantor DPRD untuk memperkuat partisipasi masyarakat, termasuk penyelenggaraan pertemuan publik, forum konsultasi, serta pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kantor DPRD memainkan peran penting dalam memfasilitasi partisipasi masyarakat melalui mekanisme dialog dan interaksi yang terbuka. Mereka juga menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk perbedaan tingkat partisipasi antar wilayah, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan perluasan peran teknologi dalam partisipasi publik. Artikel ini memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang upaya kantor DPRD dalam mendorong partisipasi masyarakat dalam proses legislasi lokal, serta menyoroti potensi peningkatan dalam hal kebijakan dan praktik terkait. Implikasi penelitian ini memperkuat urgensi peran kantor DPRD dalam membangun masyarakat yang lebih terlibat dalam pembentukan kebijakan yang memengaruhi kehidupan mereka.

Abstract

Profesi guru menuntut setiap individu yang berkecimpung di dalamnya untuk selalu berimprovisasi dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guna meraih kualitas pengajaran yang lebih baik, salah satunya dengan melaksakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), namun sayangnya tidak semua guru secara rutin melakukan PTK dikarenakan kurangnya pengetahuan akan prosedur pelaksanaannya. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) kepada guru SDN 060877 Medan khususnya dalam merencanakan, menyusun, melaksanakan, dan mengevaluasi untuk menunjang profesionalisme guru. Dengan pemberian pengenalan serta pendampingan penyusunan proposal, mitra mampu menghasilkan proposal Penelitian Tindakan Kelas sesuai dengan bidang masing-masing.
