Abstract

Innovative learning methods in English subjects are very useful in improving and developing educational competencies. The purpose of this study was to test and prove and describe whether there is a difference in student learning interest between classes that use role playing learning methods and conventional learning methods in English subjects. This study uses a comparative quantitative research design using a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study were grade IX students at SMPN 1 Bangkalan, the sample of this study was class IX A (30 students) as the experimental class and B (30 students) as the control class. The results of the study showed that the application of the role playing learning method was better in improving student learning interest and speaking skills. ABSTRAKMetode pembelajaran yang inovatif dalam mata pelajaran bahasa inggris sangatlah bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kompetensi pendidikan.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan membuktikan serta mendeskripsikan ada tidaknya perbedaan minat belajar siswa antara kelas yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran role playing dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional pada mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian kuantitatif komparatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasi experimental). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX di SMPN 1 Bangkalan, sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas IX A (30 siswa) sebagai kelas eksperimen dan B (30 siswa) sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran role playing lebih baik dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dan kemampuan speaking.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a learning design to increase numeracy literacy and critical thinking character of elementary school students based on ethnomathematics using Polya's problem-solving steps. This type of research is library research. The results showed that Polya's problem-solving steps can be used to design learning syntax as follows. Polya's first step is to understand the problem of producing a learning design menu, let's get to know culture, learn to get flat, and learn numeracy through films or videos from the MK Modul NusantaraMBKM Dr Soetomo University. The second step is polya learning planning to produce a learning design menu for identifying flat shapes based on the questions in learning numeracy with number content, geometry & measurement, algebra, and data & uncertainty. The third step is to implement the lesson plan, produce a learning design menu, let's develop alternative answers. The fourth step is to reflect on learning to produce a learning design menu, let's reflect. Increasing numeracy literacy and critical thinking character can be built on the first, second, third and fourth steps of solving Polya's problems.

Abstract

This study entitled Effectiveness of Using Video Learning Media to Improve Mathematical Literacy in Bethel Christian Middle School Surabaya. This study aims to describe and analyze culture-based videos in improving mathematical literacy on square, triangleand quadrilateral material at Bhetel Christian Junior High School Surabaya in the 2021/2022 even semester. The method used is the research method used in this study is a Pre-Experimental Design using the One-group Pretest-Postet design form. In this design there is a pretest before being given treatment and a posttest after being given treatment. Data analysis itself uses normality test, paired sample t-test, Wilcoxon test, N-Gain test. From the results of the Wilcoxon test that has been carried out, it can be seen that the significance value is 0.001 so there is a difference in the average results of the pretest and posttest of the two samples of mathematical literacy and critical thinking of junior high school students. It can be concluded that the results of mathematical literacy and critical thinking of junior high school students towards culture-based videos can increase. From the results of the N-Gain test that has been carried out, which occupies a playing score of 0.4488, which means that culture-based videos are quite effective in improving mathematical literacy and critical thinking of junior high school students.

Abstract

One of the important competence that teacher should have is the ability to evaluate. In this digital era, teachers are required to be able to utilize various technology that can that can make the assessment process more effective. Sistem Evaluasi Terpadu (SIETA) became one of the platform that chosen by SMKN 1 Blega. This study uses quantitative descriptive methods to describe the teacher’s digital competency and role as an evaluator. This study uses instrument such as (1) questionnaire, (2) observation sheets; (3) documentation to collect the data needed. This study was conducted on 30 teachers by using sample paired t test on pretest and posttest of the research subject. The result of the study shows that there is an increase of teacher’s digital competence and their role as an evaluator after the implementation of SIETA.

Abstract

Mathematics learning currently still uses the conventional model through lectures and giving assignments so that learning activities do not provide opportunities for students to be actively involved in developing their potential. Mathematics learning using conventional learning models is dominated by teachers and students are not actively involved. Learning through lectures and assignments does not direct students to develop mathematical connection abilities and solve everyday problems using mathematical concepts. The objectives of this research include: 1) To prove the influence of the learning community learning model on the mathematical connection abilities of class IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Bangkalan, 2) To prove the influence of the learning community learning model on the problem solving abilities of class IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Bangkalan, and 3 ) To prove the effect of the learning community learning model on the mathematical connection and problem solving abilities of class IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Bangkalan. This research uses a quantitative research approach and experimental research type with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample in this study was class IX-A with 35 students as the experimental class and class IX-D with 35 students as the control class. The researcher used independent sample t test and MANOVA data analysis techniques to test the research hypothesis and obtain conclusions from the research results, including: 1) There is an influence of the learning community learning model on the mathematical connection abilities of class IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Bangkalan, 2) There is an influence of the learning model community on the problem solving abilities of class IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Bangkalan, and 3) There is an influence of the learning community learning model on the mathematical connection and problem solving abilities of class IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Bangkalan.

Abstract

This research is generally to determine the influence of the practicum method on students' collaboration and understanding of concepts in science learning in Class X TJKT SMKN 1 Kamal. This research is quantitative research using Quasi Experimental Design. The population in this study was class X-1 with 24 students and class X-2 with 22 students. In proving and analyzing this, data collection is carried out using instruments in the form of observation sheets and questions. Meanwhile, the data analysis tests used are validity, reliability, homogeneity test, normality test, and simple linear regression test. The research results are based on hypothesis testing using the help of the IBM SPSS v.21 application, namely the first hypothesis obtained a sig value. 0.000 < 0.05 using a simple linear regression test, there is a significant influence on the use of practicum methods on cooperation in material on changes in the state of substances in class X TJKT SMKN 1 Kamal. The second hypothesis uses a simple linear regression test that the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05, there is an influence of the practical method on understanding the material on changes in the state of substances in class X TJKT SMKN 1 Kamal.

Abstract

In this study to determine the interaction of Rhythmic Gymnastics Video Learning Media on Cooperation and Accuracy of PGRI Gymnastics Movements of Class VII Students at SMPN 1 Labang. By using rhythmic gymnastics video learning media, it is hoped that students will be able to demonstrate cooperation and accuracy of movement towards PGRI Gymnastics material in class VII at SMPN 1 Labang. The sample used in this study was Class VII A of SMPN 1 Labang, each consisting of 32 students. Based on the recapitulation table, an increase in the value of the five aspects tested in experiments 1 to 4 was obtained. This study is strengthened by the analysis test conducted by the researcher which can be seen the t value = 5.463 with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05 which means there is a real (significant) increase in the Trust variable (X) against the Y variable.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based learning innovations have revolutionized approaches in modern mathematics education. Behind these technological advancements are ethical dynamics that every educator should consider. Therefore, this study examines the impact of AI-based mathematics learning innovations, especially ChatGPT, on students' ethics in achieving National Education Goals in Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System in Indonesia. The research method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), which includes planning, implementation, and reporting stages. Data collection is carried out with the help of publish or perish software where google scholar is the selected database. Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 21 articles were selected as data in the study. The results of the study found that there is a contradiction in the implementation of ChatGPT in mathematics learning in Indonesia with the purpose of National Education, especially students' personal ethics. These findings reflect that the use of AI in mathematics learning is not fully aligned with the goals of national education in Indonesia.   Inovasi pembelajaran berbasis Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah merevolusi pendekatan dalam pendidikan matematika modern. Dibalik kemajuan teknologi tersebut, terdapat dinamika etika yang patut diperhatikan oleh setiap pendidik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dampak inovasi pembelajaran matematika berbasis AI, khususnya ChatGPT, terhadap etika pribadi siswa dikaitkan dengan pencapaian Tujuan Pendidikan Nasional pada  Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR), yang mencakup tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pelaporan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan bantuan software publish or perish dimana google scholar menjadi basis data terpilih. Berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, terpilih 21 artikel sebagai data dalam penelitian. Hasil studi ditemukan bahwa terdapat kontradiksi implementasi ChatGPT pada pembelajaran matematika di Indonesia dengan tujuan Pendidikan Nasionalnya, terkhusus etika pribadi siswa. Temuan ini mencerminkan bahwa pendayagunaan AI pada pembelajaran matematika belum secara menyeluruh selaras dengan tujuan pendidikan nasional di Indonesia.
