Abstract

The Salatiga City Population and Civil Registration Office is a regional device organization that already uses information technology in its business processes. Although they have taken advantage of the information system, they have not yet conducted an assessment of risk threats and have not run a risk management. The source of the problem is a problem in implementing risk measurement and management techniques using the Octave-S method that focuses on organizations with no more than 100 members. This technique is used to identify and analyze threats to critical assets in Salatiga City Population and Civil Registration Service. The results of analysis of such threats will be useful when performing mitigation plans in accordance with existing security practices. From the research that has been conducted, there are 2 areas of security practice that produce yellow stoplight status which is a sign that the organization has implemented security practices but is not yet perfect. Both areas of security practice will be selected as mitigation areas. In

Abstract

This research analyzes the patterns and trends of reorder points in inventory management over a two-year period (2023-2024), utilizing weekly time series data generated from daily data resampling. The ARIMA (Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average) method was applied to forecast future reorder point values. An Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) stationarity test revealed that the initial data was non-stationary but became stationary after a single differencing operation. Parameter identification using Autocorrelation Function (ACF) and Partial Autocorrelation Function (PACF) plots indicated that the ARIMA(1,1,1) model was the best choice, based on the lowest Akaike Information Criterion (AIC). Model accuracy was evaluated using Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), yielding a value of 0.02%, signifying an excellent level of prediction accuracy. Consequently, the ARIMA model is demonstrated to be reliable for forecasting reorder points, supporting more precise decision-making in inventory management.

Abstract

Heart failure is a long-term condition of great concern which calls for health care services in cycles. This significantly hampers quality of life for patients and increases costs for the healthcare systems. If the worsening of heart failure could be detected early, the intervention to prevent readmission could be employed, such that readmission would be avoided, enhancing the quality of life for the patient. Accordingly, the paper explains how such a model to predict the worsening of heart failure in patients who are at high risk of this condition has been developed. The model uses information gathered from the Electronic Health Records (EHRs) (Clinical Variables, Vitals, Test Results, and Demographics) to make accurate predictions on patients. As an effective and efficient approach towards achieving this goal, comparison of different algorithms such as random forests, support vector machines and gradient boosting has been employed towards the building of the final model. At this stage, the model is embedded into a user-friendly self-monitoring device, allowing the chronic heart failure patients to assess health indices on the fly with the help of the mobile app and wearable devices. This secondary prevention strategy makes patients more responsible for their health and decreases the number of patients readmitted to the hospital by increasing their functioning and well-being. The paper further projects the future development of other forms of treatment for chronic heart failure, especially at the first line, focusing primarily on the timing and succession.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has driven law enforcement institutions to pursue digital transformation in order to enhance the effectiveness and accountability of public services. One of the initiatives undertaken by the Magelang City Police is the development of the Security Guard Information System (SIGAP), designed to support activity recording, field monitoring, personnel management, and security reporting. Common challenges in similar system developments include excessive backlog, release delays, and limited user involvement. This study aims to analyze the application of the Scrum framework in the development of SIGAP, evaluate its impact on team performance and stakeholder engagement, and provide practical contributions to the adoption of Agile methods in the public sector. This research employed a case study approach using Scrum, conducted through four sprints of two weeks each. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and application log analysis. Evaluation indicators included backlog completion rate, average cycle time, user satisfaction, and stakeholder participation. The findings indicate that backlog completion increased from 24% in the first sprint to 100% in the fourth sprint, accompanied by a 65% reduction in cycle time. User satisfaction improved from a moderate level to a very good level, while stakeholder participation increased from 60% to 93%. These results demonstrate that the Scrum framework is effective in enhancing the development of police information systems and can serve as a replicable model for adaptive, transparent, and accountable digital transformation in other public institutions.
