Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat keberdayaan masyarakat dan keberhasilan pengelolaan Tahura WAR serta kaitan antara keduanya. Responden yang digunakan adalah 30 orang yang termasuk dalam anggota Kelompok Pengelola dan Pelestari Hutan di Kelurahan Sumber Agung yang ditentukan secara purposive. Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara dan Focus Group Disscussion. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, sedangkan untuk analisis data digunakan uji Rank Spearman. Berdasarkan hasil temuan, diketahui jika tingkat keberdayaan masyarakat sekitar Tahura WAR secara keseluruhan masuk dalam klasifikasi sedang. Hal tersebut berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan yang rendah sehingga kurangnya keterampilan masyarakat KPPH Tahura WAR dalam mengelola Tahura WAR. Keberhasilan pengelolaan Tahura WAR termasuk dalam kategori berhasil secara keseluruhan. Hal tersebut berdasarkan pada keberhasilan pengelolaan Tahura WAR dalam menjalankan fungsinya sehingga berdampak pada peningkatan pendapatan serta perkembangan usaha pertanian masyarakat KPPH Tahura WAR. Keberdayaan masyarakat sekitar Tahura WAR memiliki hubungan nyata yang kuat dengan keberhasilan pengelolaan Tahura WAR di Provinsi Lampung. Berdasarkan Hal tersebut, diharapkan Dinas Kehutanan dan UPTD Tahura WAR dapat meningkatkan keberdayaan masyarakat melalui program pemberdayaan sehingga Tahura WAR dapat dimanfaatkan dengan lebih optimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) Peranan Penyuluh Pertanian Lapangan (PPL) dalam program pencetakan sawah baru 2) respon petani karet program pencetakan sawah baru, dan 3) faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan respon petani karet dalam program pencetakan sawah baru. Penelitian dilakukan dari bulan April-Mei 2021 di Kecamatan Belitang II Kabupaten OKU Timur Sumatera Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survai. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuisioner dan wawancara. Jumlah responden sebanyak 45 responden ditentukan secara proporsional random sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan analisis Korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penyuluh Pertanian Lapangan (PPL) sudah cukup berperan dalam sosialisasi program pencetakan sawah baru. Respon petani dalam program pencetakan sawah baru sudah cukup baik. Faktor yang berhubungan dengan respon petani dalam program pencetakan sawah baru yaitu: Peranan Penyuluh Pertanian Lapangan, status kepemilikan lahan petani karet, tingkat motivasi petani karet, dan tingkat pengetahuan petani karet.

Abstract

Kostratani is the center of agricultural development activities at the sub-district level based on information technology revolution 4.0 to support advanced, modern and independent agricultural development as well as optimizing the duties and functions of BPP in realizing national food sovereignty, so that PPL plays an active role in the success of this program. The purpose of this study was to determine the PPL's perception of the Kostratani program and to determine the factors associated with the PPL's perception of the Kostratani program in East Lampung Regency. This research was conducted in East Lampung Regency. Data collection in this study used the census method, conducted from February to March 2022. The respondents of this study were 24 extension workers in East Lampung Regency. Hypothesis testing using non-parametric statistical test analysis Spearman Rank correlation. The results of the study showed that PPL's perception of the Kostratani program in East Lampung Regency was categorized as good, formal education level, level of knowledge, instructor's ability to information technology, motivation, and government support were significantly related to PPL's perception but age and infrastructure were not significantly related to perception PPL on the Kostratani program.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan sebuah CSR yaitu tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan kepada masyarakat diharapkan sebuah implementasinya terlaksana dengan baik antara perusahaan dengan masyarakat. Pengamatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana implementasi dari CSR yang ada di Perusahaan PT Huma Indah Mekar dan mengetahui hubungan antara CSR yang ada dengan konflik yang terjadi antara perusahaan dan masyarakat di Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat Provinsi Lampung. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan melihat sebuah pengembangan masyarakat yang ada dari sebuah implementasi CSR dengan analisis miles dan hiberman. Hasil dari pengamatan yang ada yaitu pelaksanaan CSR di perusahaan PT Huma Indah Mekar sudah terimplementasi dengan baik tetapi belum optimal. Hubungan antara implementasi CSR dengan konflik tentu sangat berhubungan jika wujud pelaksanaan dari sebuah CSR tidak terlaksana dengan baik tentu masyarakat merasa tidak adanya bantuan sosial atau ikatan sosial antara perusahaan dan masyarakat. Hal ini yang menyebabkan masyarakat merasa kurang diperhatikan oleh perusahaan.

Abstract

Grafting coffee is one of the rejuvenation activities on unproductive plants to become productive with the aim of increasing production. This study aims to determine: 1) coffee farmers' perceptions of the grafting system in coffee cultivation, 2) coffee production produced before and after the grafting system in coffee cultivation, 3) factors related to farmers' perceptions on the Grafting system in coffee cultivation, 4) the relationship between coffee farmers' perceptions of the Grafting system and coffee production, 5) the relationship between coffee farmers' perceptions of the Grafting system and coffee farming income. This research was conducted in North Dempo District, Pagar Alam City, South Sumatra Province. This study is a quantitative study with a sample of 64 coffee farmers determined by the formula for determining the sample (Sugiarto, 2003). The research data collection was carried out from March to April 2022. The method used was a survey method. Research data were analyzed descriptively, parametric statistics, and non-parametric statistics. The results of this study stated that: 1) coffee farmers' perceptions of the grafting system in coffee cultivation were classified as quite good, 2) there was a significant difference in production from before applying the grafting system, which was 886.16 kg and after applying the grafting system, which was 1.753 kg. . 3) the factors that are significantly related to the perception of coffee farmers on the grafting system in coffee cultivation are the length of farming and the availability of entres, while age, education level, farmer knowledge, farmer social interaction and ownership status are not significantly related, 4) coffee farmers perception on the grafting system is not significantly related to the production of coffee farming 5) Coffee farmers' perception of the grafting system is not significantly related to coffee farming income. Keywords: Perception, Production, Coffee Grafting System

Abstract

The role of the Independent Agricultural and Rural Training Center (P4S) is to conduct training and assistance for people who want to learn in the field of superior farming developed by each P4S Institution. P4S has an important role in empowering farmers by providing technical knowledge, access to markets and financial support. The role of P4S is inseparable from internal and external factors of the Institution, so this study aims to determine the factors related to the role of P4S in East Lampung Regency. Internal factors of the Institution are the system of institutional governance, cooperation and partnership, institutional capacity, and management of the Institution. External factors of the Institution are the number of assisted farmers and the reward system. The research was conducted from October to November 2022. The respondents in this study were 70 people who helped farmers assisted by P4S in East Lampung Regency. Data was collected through interview techniques with semi-structured questionnaires—data analysis using path analysis PLS (Partial Least Square) with SmartPLS. The results of this study show that the institutional governance system, institutional capacity, institutional management, and reward system are related to the role of P4S in East Lampung Regency. Institutional governance system, cooperation, and partnerships, the role of P4S associated with the level of empowerment of assisted farmers P4S in East Lampung Regency. Institutional governance system related to direct and indirect empowerment of assisted farmers through the role of P4S in East Lampung Regency. The Institution's governance system was found to be the most important factor related to the role of P4S. A good institutional governance system can help P4S become more effective and efficient in providing training, counselling and assistance to farmers.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the implementation of the Program, to determine the role of PPL in the Program, to determine the participation of farmers in the Program, and to determine the relationship of the role of the field agriculture instructor and farmer participation to the success of the Program. The determination of the location of the research was carried out deliberately in Natar District, South Lampung Regency. Respondents in this research were 51 farmers. This research was conducted in September-Oktober 2019. This research used a survey method and using descriptive analysis and usedRank Spearman correlation test. The role of field agriculture instructors in the program which consists of seven indicators is classified as high. Farmer participation in the Program is included in the high category, which means that farmer participation is very instrumental in the program. In the rice commodity, there is a relationship between the role of the field agriculture instructor with the success of the program and there is a relationship with the farmers participation with the success of the program, whereas in the case of corn, there is an unreal relationship between the role of the field agricultural extension agent and the success of the program. unreal relationship between farmer participation and the success of the program.

Abstract

Limited employment opportunities encourage people to look for other alternatives to find income to meet their family's needs. One of these alternatives is to become a brick production worker. The purpose of this study was to determine the socio-economic conditions of brick craftsmen workers’family. The research was conducted in Campang Raya Village, Sukabumi District, Bandar Lampung City from November to December 2019. The respondents were 15 people who were brick craftsmen who were determined purposively. Data analysis was performed by qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the masonry workers were of productive age (100%), most of them (67%) had a low level of education. Average net income of IDR 3,320,000 - IDR 3,433,000 per month with a monthly per capita income of 1,106,000, - −Rp 1,147,000, - not meeting the UMR standard of Bandar Lampung City of IDR 2,445 .141, - Family brick craftsmen still do not get good housing facilities in the form of unsuitable housing, poor road facilities to the dwelling, and water sources that are difficult to obtain. The health facilities used for treatment is the puskesmas, the families of brick craftsmen workers do not have health insurance.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine factors that related to the role of BUM Pekon Mandiri Bersatu manager, the changes of customer’s income before and after being a member of BUM Pekon Mandiri Bersatu, and obstacles were impression by BUM Pekon Mandiri Bersatu manager to carry out their duties. The research was conducted on Gisting Bawah Village of Gisting Subdistrict, Tanggamus Regency purposively. The samples of this research were 10 persons of BUM Pekon Mandiri Bersatu manager and 46 customers who is the members of BUM Pekon Mandiri Bersatu. The research data collection was conducted from March 2017 until April 2017. The research data was analyzed descriptively, by Rank Spearman and t test difference. The results showed that: there is definite relationship between human resource quality variable and work environment with the role of manager of BUM Pekon Mandiri Bersatu and there is no definite relationship between customers’ support and wage or salary with the role of manager of BUM Pekon Mandiri Bersatu; there is a change in the customers income level who are members’ of BUM Pekon Mandiri Bersatu between before and after being a members of BUM Pekon Mandiri Bersatu, and obstacles were impression by BUM Pekon Mandiri Bersatu manager were capital and customer complaint problem.Key words: BUM Pekon Mandiri Bersatu, customer, income, management, role

Abstract

This research aims to know corn productivity level in the working area of the extension center (BPPP) Natar Subdistrict, the level of Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) in the BPPP, factors related to the level of the performance of AEWs, the level of satisfaction of corn farmers on the performance of AEWs, and  the relationship between the level of performance of AEWs and the level of satisfaction of corn farmers.  Research conducted in BPPP Natar Subdistrict, South Lampung Subdistrict uses a survey method.  The sample in this study consisted of eight AEWs and 54 corn farmers.  Data analysis method uses a descriptive method and Rank Spearman correlation.  The results showed the average level of corn farming productivity in the Natar Subdistrict is 6,49 tons/ha.  The performance of AEWs is good.  The factors related to the performance of AEWs are the age of the AEWs, working period of the AEWs, and availability of facilities and infrastructure.  The level of satisfaction of corn farmers on the performance of AEWs in Natar Subdistrict is moderately satisfied, and the level of performance of AEWs has a significant relationship with the level of satisfaction of corn farmers in the Natar Subdistrict. Key words: agriculture extension workers, farmer satisfaction, performance
