Abstract

This research is important because the servant leadership model is crucial in supporting accreditation and is infused with spiritual values to optimize academic services. This research applies the accreditation-based servant leadership model and spiritual values in academic services at the IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo Postgraduate program. This field research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and then analyzed through data reduction and presentation to conclude. The study concludes that the servant leadership model can only support accreditation by applying spiritual values, especially Islamic ones, in academic services. Every academic service requires a strong spirit, which cannot be separated from spiritual values derived from the truth of revelation. Integrated work activities, serving as a means of communication and sharing program information and academic issues supported by academic information systems, are recognized as encouraging timely studies and academic achievements of students and lecturers. However, this will not be complete without spiritual values such as patience, gratitude, sincerity, humility (tawadhu), information and communication technology as God's gifts, and prayer.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' ability in solving story problems of fractional operations in terms of gender differences. This type of research is qualitative research conducted in class VII A of SMPN 15 Palu. The researcher chose 2 informants as test and interview subjects, namely one female student with high ability and one male student with high ability. The results of this study are 1) female students with high ability are able to understand the problem well, can compile a solution plan by providing detailed statements and are able to implement the solution plan and re-check the correctness of their explanations with different steps. 2) male students with high ability experience delays in understanding story problems are able to compile a solution plan but are less careful in implementing the solution plan. However, at the re-checking stage, male students are able to test the explanation with different steps so that they can correct their mistakes and find the right answer. The conclusion of this study is that there is a difference in the ability to solve story problems on operations regarding fractions between female and male students, female students with high ability can understand the problem, make a solution plan, and recheck the explanation well, while male students with high ability experience delays in understanding the problem, are less careful in implementing the plan, but can correct mistakes and find the right answer when checking again. Abstract

This study aims to describe student problem solving based on the level of student learning independence. The method used is qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of the study were three students of grade IX D SMPN 7 Palu, who were selected using a learning independence questionnaire, with high, medium, and low categories. The problem-solving indicators used are indicators developed by polya, namely, understanding the problem, making a problem-solving plan, implementing the problem-solving plan, and re-checking. The results showed that subjects with high and medium independence were better at meeting each problem-solving indicator compared to low subjects. So it can be concluded that the higher the learning independence of students, the better the problem solving will be. Keywords: Congruence; Learning Independence; Solution to problem

Abstract

This research applies Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research was conducted in class XI of SMA Negeri 4 Palu, with the research process carried out in the even semester of the 2024/2025 school year, adjusted to the schedule of mathematics lessons in the class. The results showed an increase in the percentage of students' completeness, with cycle I reaching 47.05% and cycle II reaching 88.23%. This indicates that the application of the Problem Based Learning model contributes positively to the improvement of student learning outcomes on material reflection (geometric transformations) in class XI SMA Negeri 4 Palu. The application of the Problem Based Learning model that focuses on real contexts relevant to students can facilitate understanding of mathematical concepts more effectively. Solving real problems through the Problem Based Learning model is expected to prepare students to face realistic problems that they may face in the future.
