Abstract

Wih Terjun is one of the villages located in Pegasing Subdistrict, Central Aceh. Its environmental conditions, situated in mountainous and hilly areas, are highly suitable for cultivating avocado plants. The purpose of this Community Service (PkM) activity was to provide socialization and education to the community of Wih Terjun Village regarding the cultivation and economic prospects of avocado fruit (Persea americana).The partners participating in the program consisted of 22 individuals, including housewives and teenage girls. The tools and materials used were glass cups, plastic cups, toothpicks, tissue paper, and a water spray bottle. The materials included water and avocado seeds. The results of the PkM implementation showed an increase in participants’ knowledge about avocado plants, including their benefits and properties. The advantages of avocados is their high nutritional content, which can help prevent stunting. In conclusion, through this PkM activity, the community is now able to plant and cultivate avocado plants using either the water method or soil media. This method is simple and can be practiced by anyone.

Abstract

Human life is inseparable from the interaction between humans as social beings and technology as the medium used by humans. The capabilities of technology have addressed various human challenges for interacting with each other, where limitations of distance, time, and space are no longer barriers to human desire for communication. The Global System for Mobile communication (GSM) is a cellular communication technology applied to mobile communication, especially mobile phones, thus providing conveniences as a medium for information delivery. However, in remote or rural areas far from the Base Transceiver Station (BTS), the signal coverage is poor. This will disrupt communication such as short message service (SMS), telephone calls, internet access, and other forms of communication. An antenna is a device used to transmit or receive electromagnetic waves. Reception using an antenna will amplify the signal acquisition according to the antenna's capabilities. GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) service providers, with their limited network coverage, create a significant need for signal acquisition enhancement. The Grid antenna is one of the options for signal acquisition enhancement. The Grid antenna has two main components: the driven element, which is a dipole, and a reflector that serves to reflect the signal transmission. This Final Project is designed, realized, and measured on a grid antenna at GSM 900 MHz. This antenna is intended to serve as a supporting medium to enhance GSM signal reception in order to maximize signal acquisition and connection.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of educational quality management in improving student learning effectiveness at SD Negeri Tidung. The urgency of educational quality at the elementary school level underpins this research, given its direct impact on both the learning process and student outcomes. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, involving principals, teachers, students, and parents as informants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and analysis of learning and school evaluation documents. Findings indicate that the principal plays a central role in driving a quality-oriented culture through instructional planning, academic supervision, resource management, and policy reinforcement based on collaborative efforts. Teachers implement structured instructional planning, employ varied media, and engage active learning strategies, although consistency in execution and technology use remain challenges. Quality evaluation is conducted periodically through analysis of learning outcomes and classroom supervision; however, follow-up for continuous improvement is not yet fully structured. The results affirm that adaptive, participatory, and consistent quality management contributes positively to the effectiveness of classroom learning, particularly when leadership, teacher professionalism, and collaborative culture are aligned.
