Abstract

The apprenticeship program III is one of the academic agendas in developing student competencies, so that they are ready to undergo the profession as community educators. However, based on the identification of problems carried out internally, it was found that the apprenticeship program III, had not provided optimal results, this can be seen from the results of evaluations and feedback from the people who were targeted in the apprenticeship program III of the IKIP Siliwangi Community Education study program. The theoretical foundation used in this study is the theory of learning through practice, the theory of social competence and the theory of public education. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with the instruments used are interview guides, guidelines for observation and documentation study. The results obtained that the competence of students in the public education study program showed an increase especially in terms of communication and social interaction skills. However, it has not received a good assessment from the community. So that the conclusions in this study are that the internship program III has positive implications for the development and social competence of students, but still needs further development.

Abstract

The Internship III program is one of the curricular programs for students of community education courses. Therefore, it is necessary to study the implications of the program for the ecological awareness of the community, because in principle the apprenticeship III program is the placement of students in the community in order to prepare students to respond to life's challenges in the community which at the same time also provides benefits to the community to be able to experiencing a renewed learning process with a basic charge of ecological awareness related to the Citarum Harum program. The theory used in this study is the theory of empowerment, learning theory, management theory of educational units outside of school. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with the aim of getting a more complete and comprehensive picture related to the implementation of community education programs. Based on research conducted, it was found that changes in community ecological awareness were built but not in the form of very rapid changes, still requiring other activities to maintain awareness and control program implementation in the future. This is in line with the theory of empowerment that the pattern of implementation of empowerment must use a comprehensive and sustainable approach. The main conclusion in this study is that there are quite good changes, especially in the ecological awareness of the community related to their role in the midst of the Citarum Harum program.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the impact of disaster mitigation training on community attitudes in dealing with disasters in the Lembang Region, West Java. The theoretical basis used in this research is the theory of community empowerment, community education and disaster mitigation. While the research method used is descriptive qualitative research with a sample of 30 people, the instruments used are surveys, interviews, observation and documentation study. The results of the study indicate that there are changes that are quite good, so that disaster mitigation training is good to be implemented. With the conclusion, that disaster mitigation training is important to develop public awareness and preparedness in dealing with disasters.

Abstract

Pasca bencana Gempa Bumi sebesar 5,1 SR di Kabupaten Cianjur, memberikan dampak yang sangat besar bagi masyarakat, tidak terkecuali bagi warga belajar paket C di PKBM Junudurrohman, Kecamatan Cugenang, Kabupaten Cianjur. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pelatihan pengelolaan lingkungan bagi warga belajar paket C yang terdampak gempa. Mengingat kondisi pasca gempa, kondisi lingkungan mengalami perubahan yang sangat besar. Teori pendukung dalam penelitian ini adalah Konsep Pendidikan masyarakat dan pendidikan ekologi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan 4 orang responden dari total 14 orang warga belajar. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa pelatihan pengelolaan lingkungan memiliki implikasi dalam membangun kesadaran lingkungan, terutama pada proses pemulihan kondisi lingkungan di sekitar tempat tinggal warga belajar, termasuk perilaku menjaga hidup bersih dan perilaku konsumsi makanan sehari-hari. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pendidikan ekologi yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran dari lingkungan sekitar mampu memberikan implikasi positif dalam kualitas kehidupan warga belajar.
