Abstract

This research is motivated by the difficulties of students when learning to write drama texts. Students feel less confident and don't focus on expressing their ideas or ideas. This affects low student learning outcomes. The formulation of the problem proposed in this study is whether the jigsaw learning model can improve the learning outcomes of junior high school students in writing drama texts. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the jigsaw learning model to improve student learning outcomes in writing drama texts. The method used in this study, namely the quantitative method in the form of a pretest-posttest one group. Experiments were conducted on one class which was given a drama text writing ability test. A pretest was conducted to determine the initial ability while the posttest was conducted to determine the ability of students after being given treatment in the form of learning to write drama text using a jigsaw learning model. The results showed that the jigsaw learning model could improve student learning outcomes in writing drama texts. This is evidenced by the significant increase in the average pretest, which is 63 and the posttest average value, which is 76. Thus, it can be concluded that the effective jigsaw learning model is used to improve the learning outcomes of junior high school students in writing drama texts.

Abstract

This Observation function for poetry analysis “Aku Ingin” by Sapardi Djoko Damono with semiotic and description about signified and signifier about that poetry. Poetry is one of the most profound forms of literary work in interpreting all its contents and there are also life values in the process of making it.  The background of the study is based on the author’s interested to analyze Sapardi Djoko Damono's poem “Aku Ingin” as the object to be analyzed, because of the content is a big wishing for became reality but the result is nothing. Basically, interpreting signs or symbols is the basic principle of the semiotic approach. Sensitivity in appreciating a literary work is an understanding of signs, symbols or cues in the poetry itself. In appreciating higher literary works is by doing in-depth studies, namely research.  Analyze the data study: (1) choosing and reading poetry “Aku Ingin” by Sapardi Djoko Damono, (2) analyzing the poem using semiotica approach, (3) describing meaning of that poetry. The results of the poetry analysis include the theme of love and having a sense of love for others with the simplest possible, high level of love is to love the way is it and sometimes a wish is just a vain wish.

Abstract

The text of both literary and non-literary texts is born not from a cultural vacuum, but the text is born because there is a relationship between living conditions with economic, social, political, and cultural values that are expressed in writing and using language as the medium. Thus language has an important role for the birth of a text. Intertext is an ongoing quest for meaning. Penelususran meaning is done outside the work of the individual, not limited by space and time. The speaking subject is subject to subject, as the subject of the text, not the author in fact. The meaning in literary works can be obtained through analysis by heeding literary works from historical context and socio-cultural context in this intertextual concept related to literary history. Thus, the text is the product of the historical social forces of its day, but the text also affects social life. Poetry is one of the works of literature is poured with beautiful language, in this study the author wanted to know the intertextual poetry of Chairil Anwar entitled Cintaku Jauh on the Island with the poem Sapardi Djoko Damono with the title The Fana is Time . In this analyze, method used in this study is qualitative by analyzing every word chosen in the poem with the syntactic aspect. The main purpose is to describe, study and explain the phenomenon. Understanding this phenomenon can be obtained by describing and exploring it in narrative writing. The intertextual study in both poems has the similarity that in real life we have to make the best use of time, because God's destiny no one knows when we should return to God's bosom as described by Khairil Anwar in his poetry how I lyrics pursue his life to achieve the goal -ltanya, but the I feel pessimistic will be achieved his goal is because the I'm sure with the fate of his death is quite close.

Abstract

This research applies behavioristic learning theory in learning to write short stories with literary engineering. In this research it is expected that students will be skilled in writing short stories through literary engineering to foster imagination and ideas that will be written by students in short story writing activities. This research is based on the problem that a student has difficulty writing something that he feels and thinks in written form. Most students express their experiences more easily by speaking in terms of them, students rarely pour into written form. Another problem related to student creativity in writing activities is that many students who complain when getting a writing assignment from the lecturer are very annoying. This is because students do not know where to start and what to do in writing activities. Feelings of fear have become a scourge for students now in writing activities. This research method uses quantitative methods with experiments, in which researchers will provide implementation of the behavioristic approach in learning to write short stories with literary engineering. The results of this study indicate that students are more skilled at writing with literary engineering, where literary works in the form of poetry are changed by students in the form of short stories. As for the stages of each short story based on the experience of students both directly and indirectly into the short story. The learning process was very enjoyable and the students felt honed their talents and interests through this activity. An overflowing of feelings, hopes, and ideals is reflected in the writing of the students so that it helps the lecturer to hone the interests and talents of the students.

Abstract

The title of this research is the analysis of figurative language in the poem “Dalam Diriku” by Sapardi Djoko Darmono. This research is a form of appreciation for literary works, especially poetry in the context of developing Indonesian language and literature. This study aims to describe and interpret the use of language style in the poem entitled “Dalam Diriku” by Sapardi Djoko Darmono. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The technique for collecting data in this study used content analysis in the poem. This research explains phenomena throught the process of observing cases or phenomena, then being interpreted, interpreted, and then formulating conclusions. The use of language style is a component that often exists in works of fiction and non-fiction in Indonesian. The results of this study show that the poem “Dalam Diriku” contains repetition, metaphor, personification, paradox to hyperbole language styles. The use of language style in the poem needs to be known as the beauty of the effect in a story so that it seems lively and interesting so that the message contained in it is easier to understand.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low literacy skills of students in Indonesia. As reported by El-Fikri (2018) that Indonesian people's interest in reading and writing is still low, even in the ASEAN region Indonesia's ranking in this aspect is only above Cambodia and Laos. If the literacy problem is left unchecked and there is no movement that is able to target the right target to make the community and students aware, then this problem will continue to intertwine and get worse. This is a setback for the Indonesian people. Students who are creative in writing will grow into students who have a future. The results of his writings can be a motivation for him to be more creative in writing. The purpose of this study was to find out the description and steps of learning to write using the quantum learning method with hypnosis as an effort to strengthen character through moral messages in the short stories written. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, in this study the researcher describes the picture of learning to write short stories using the quantum learning method with hypnosis and describes the results of the analysis of character values through moral messages in their values. The results of this study produce students who are skilled in writing and have superior characters.

Abstract

The advancement of a nation can be seen in literary products. Writing is the key to the success and development of a person as they can produce short stories as literary works. Short stories are an example of literary works that contain fragments of indirect or direct life experiences. Messages and morals decided within a short story may reflect the author's values of life and characteristics. High motivation to start is required to develop the ability to present imagination and inspiration. Motivation is rooted in the power of one's mind thinking can change one's life. Motivation has a central role in writing, to have high motivation a writer must be able to penetrate the ego in the subconscious brain. The process of inputting suggestions and affirmations into the subconscious mind is crucial as it affects a person's behavior to write. If the message is already stored in the subconscious mind, a person will change his behavior into new values according to the implemented suggestions and affirmations. The power of the subconscious mind to influence behavior change by 80% is an opportunity and solution. Thus, hypnotic energy is suitable for a writing trick because it will change behaviors into new values. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The researcher describes the surefire trick of writing with hypnotic energy based on conceptual studies from various books and journals. The results of this study produce a formula for writing tricks that make it easier for students to write.

Abstract

Suatu proses belajar untuk mengetahui, memahami, dan mengimplementasikan merupakan serangkaian proses dalam sebuah pembelajaran. Dalam tahapan ini memerlukan motivasi dan daya kuat untuk ingin mencari tahu dan menjadi tahu, sehingga pembelajaran merupakan proses yang menyenangkan. Ketercapaian hasil pembelajaran bergantung erat dengan pendekatan yang digunakan oleh seorang pengajar. Bagaimana kita bisa membuat pembelajar senang jika kita tidak bisa mengikat makna dan menyentuh hati seorang pembelajar. Untuk itu pendekatan behavior sangat cocok digunakan dalam pembelajaran sastra. Di mana salah satu tujuan belajar sastra adalah untuk mengubah perilaku pembelajar ke arah yang lebih baik dengan menekankan pada rasa peka, empati, cinta, menghargai dan mebiasakan perilaku budaya nilai terhadap sesama. Hal ini diperoleh dari membaca karya sastra yang sarat dengan nilai-nilai kehidupan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tahapan pembelajaran sastra dengan pendekatan behavior berbasis budaya nilai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Di mana peneliti melakukan analisis dari pelbagai kajian pustaka dan merancang sebuah pembelajaran sastra dengan pendekatan behavior berbasis budaya nilai sehingga ancangan model itu dapat dideskripsikan sejelas mungkin setiap tahapannya. Hasil dari angket yang disebarkan oleh peneliti dapat disimpulkan pembelajaran dapat berjalan dan sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran, di mana salah satu tujuannya adalah dapat mengubah perilaku siswa dan memotivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran sastra.Terpenting adalah dalam pembelajaran terbiasa menilai positif perilaku temannya dan ini yang menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini.Kata kunci: pembelajaran sastra, pendekatan behavior, berbasis budaya nilai

Abstract

This research is entitled Analysis of Poetry entitled “Kubaca Bisa” by Abdul Wachid. This research is a form of contribution to the scientific development of Indonesian Language and Literature in analyzing poetry. This study aims to describe and interpret the language style used in the poem entitled "Kubaca bisa" by Abdul Wachid. This research belongs to the type of qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques in this study using content analysis. The validity of the data in this study is centered on theory and uses interactive techniques, namely the data reduction stage, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Every poem has its own use of language. As the results of this study which show that the poem "Kubaca Bisa" contains metaphors, parallelism, rhetoric, hyperbole to alliteration. The style of language used in the poem aims to emphasize the meaning of the poem.
