Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktifitas dan hasil belajar perkalian bilangan 1-5 melalui pembelajaran kooperatif dengan permainan pilih jawaban bernuansa Gasing. Dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus, dalam setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II SDN Slateng 03 Ledokombo Jember tahun 2011-2012. Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan yaitu obsevasi, wawancara, dan tes. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif reflektif. Persentase aktivitas belajar pada siklus I adalah 59,88% (kategori sedang), dan meningkat pada siklus ke II yaitu 79,32%. Persentase hasil belajar matematika siswa melaui pembelajaran kooperatif dengan permainan pilih jawaban bernuansa Gasing ada perkalian bilangan 1-5 mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I persentasenya 70,37%, dan pada siklus ke II 88,89%, jadi meningkat 18,52%. Kata Kunci : pembelajaran kooperatif dengan permainan pilih jawaban bernuansa Gasing, PTK, Aktifitas, Hasil Belajar.

Abstract

High order thinking skill is the ability to complete the tasks where there is no algorithm that have been taught, that need justification or explanation and probably have more than one solution probability. High thinking skill ability is the ability that consists of analysis, evaluation and creation. Emotional intelligence is the individual intelligence in recognizing self-emotion, motivate yourself, control others emotion and foster relationships with others. Lesson study learning community is the collaborative learning from Japan. The aim of this research is to describe the process of student’s high order thinking skill in solving probability problem on LSLC based learning on emotional intelligence. The subject of this research started from giving emotional intelligence questionnaire, next the learning activity based on LSLC where the students work collaboratively on high order thinking questions on the students’ worksheet that consists of 3 questions covering question number 1 is question of analyzing, question number 2 is question of evaluating and question number 3 is question of creating, it was obtained the subject of 1 student with low emotional intelligence, 1 student with moderate emotional intelligence and 1 student with high emotional intelligence. From those three subjects, it was obtained 1 student with high emotional intelligence that has high order thinking skill, while 1 student with moderate emotional intelligence and 1 student with low emotional intellegence that did not have high order thinking skill. Abstract

Abstract.Strategy of Inquiry learning are series of learning activity that emphasize on critical and analitycal thinking process to look for and find its own answer from the problems asked. This strategy can improve the students mind in learning and students achievement in the classroom. Steps of inquiryare orientation, formulating problem, formulating hypothesis, collecting data, testing hypothesis, and formulating conclusion. The result showed that teacher and students gave good responses toward teaching learning activity by using inquiry. Those good responses were proved by the improvement of studends learning activities. Students competence in material Circumference and Area of circle reached 74,42%. Beside that, there is good effect of the students though after teaching and learning process. All of them showed that inquirycan help students to look for and find the answer of problems are studied. Abstract

Abstract. Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) is a concept which has some instructional strategies (treatments) that are optimally effective for students of different aptitude levels.This research is expected to know the process and result of the development of mathematics learning instruments based on Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) in sub subject of Prism and Pyramid. The subject of the research is students of grade VIII A SMP AL-Muttaqin Banjarsengon Jember. Learning instrumentsdevelopment model refers to Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel Model (4-D) Model.The result product is lesson plan, student books, work sheets, and evaluation test. Based on validation process and tryout the learning sets can be concluded that the learnig sets had been appropriate with validate, practice, and effective criteria. Abstract

This study describes the level of student problem solving based on NCTM SMPN 7 Jember students in solving SPLDV problems using the jumping task method. Data collection methodswhich used are tests and interview. The subjects studied further in this study were 3 students, one student was included in the level of “very good” problem solving, one student falls under the category of “good” at problem solving, and the other one belongs to the category of “moderate”. The results showed that 7 people were included in the very good category, 18 people were in the good category, 13 people were in the category of “moderate” and no one was in the category of “poor”. Abstract

Abstrack: This research type of this research is Classroom Actions Research which consist of two cycles, there are two class in each cycles. The data collection methods are interview, documentation, observation, and test. The purpose of this research is to reduce students’ mistake during solving problem in the triangle and quadrilateral topic. We will use Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model in each meetings. The subject of research is students of VII D class SMPN 7 Jember in academic year 2012/2013. The data we analys are teacher’s and students’ learning activities, the percentage of student’s mistake, and the effectivity of MMP. The result of research indicate that the result of learning activity increase of student’s activity of cycle I reach 82,4% and cycle II reach 92,0%. While the student’s mistakes of final test at cycle I reach 50,5% and cycle II 28,6%. So, the mode of teaching can increase student’s activity and decrease the student’s mistakes. Abstract

This research is a research of class action. The purposes of this research are 1) to know about the motivation increasing from student to learn mathematic after learning applied using recitation method with LKS on standart topic on Cube and Beam in grade VIII E SMPN 11 Jember year 2013/2014; 2) To know result learning about the increasing from student to learn mathematic after learning applied using recitation method with LKS on standart topic on Cube and Beam in grade VIII E SMPN 11 Jember year 2013/2014. The research subject is students of SMPN 11 grade VIII. This research consists of 2 cycles. The data collecting method is observation, questionnaire, interview and test for every end of cycle. Based on the analysis result from the motivation questionnaire students in studying mathematic, the average from cycle value and interview about motivation increasing by the students to learn mathematic after using recitation method. The result is shown by 1) The data from questionnaire students in learning mathematic is getting increasing from the first reflection to the cycle I and to the cycle II is 57,15% becomes 69,87% and in cycle II becomes 76,5% with the high  cathegory; The average from the test result is getting increasing, the average in cylce I is 68,37 becomes 81,13 in cycle II. Abstract

Abstract.Ethnomathematics is a study in applied science which has a matter of interest in numbers which the operation contains of a truth and a certain rule. The application has been used in the life of cultural groups or social communities. This research aims to describe the activity of Ethnomathematic peasants with paddy as the commodity in KeranjinganMaduranese, in Sumbersari, Jember Regency. The research uses qualitative study which employs ethnographic approach. The researcher collects the field data by interviewing and observing, using triangulation technique –a collecting data technique from the same source with different technique. The subjects of this research are 6 peasants. The result shows that there is Mathematic activity within farming of KeranjinganMaduranese, in Sumbersari, Jember Regency. The research result obtains tools for organizing the seed in order which are called bellak and kencah. The Mathematic activities which have been observed are to count the amount of employees, seeds, and fertilizers based on the land and work time. The activities apply Mathematic proportion law. Abstract

This study described about the creative thinking ability of the students in SMP Negeri 8 Jember on social arithmetic material based on Jumping Task. The data collection method used were tests, observations and interviews. This study used a description question of social arithmetic material based on jumping task and Group Embadded Figure Test (GEFT) to determine the cognitive style of students. This study was conducted in grade VII G of SMP Negeri 8 Jember with the total number of student was 31. The test questions used use the indicators of creative thinking, they were fluency, flexibility and novelty. After the GEFT test and the creative thinking ability test were done, the research subjects were 6 students. Two students with high creative thinking ability with field dependent cognitive style, two students with moderate creative thinking ability with field dependent and field independent cognitive style, and two students with low field independent creative thinking ability. Abstract

Abstract.ARIASlearning modelis a cooperative learning which consist five components. They are Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assesment, Satisfaction. The purpose of this research are knowing application of ARIAS learning model to reduce errors of solving perimeter and area of plane problems.The kind of this research is about PTK usingqualitative approach. The method to collected data in this research usedobservation method, interview, and test. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Jember which the subject of research are students of X AP 1class academic year 2012-2013. The data of research are students’ activities and errorsof solving perimeter and area of plane problems. In the beginning of test, total precentage of students’ mistake is 98,11% with average precentage of mistake is 19,62%.In the test 1, total precentage of students’ mistake is 97,64% with average precentage of mistake is 19,53%,but at the end of test 1 there is increasing in some kind of mistakes. At the end of test 2, total precentage decreased until 45,95% with average precentage is 9,19%. Analysis of percentage of errors conclude the application of ARIAS learning model can reduce errors of solving perimeter and area of plane problems. Key Words: ARIAS learning model, errors, plane.
