Abstract

This training aims to help partners, SMP Negeri 3 Sungailiat, in their efforts to improve the ability to master English for teachers. This training is designed and oriented towards the mastery of English equivalent to TOEFL. This activity lasted for 3 days with details of 2 days of material delivery through webinars and 1 day of face-to-face tests. The length of time required is related to the time allocation provided by the school so as not to interfere with PBM activities at the school. The training participants were 34 teachers (thirty-four). The success of this program can be seen from the excellent attendance response every day. The average TOEFL score achieved by the participants was with an average TOEFL score of 411, increasing from the results that had been achieved before. In addition, the results stated that 76% of participants felt helped by the training materials received. Thus, the goal of this training has been well achieved.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan Computational Thinking dan Bebras Task untuk para guru SD dan SMP. Melalui pelatihan pelatihan Computational Thinking dan Bebras diharapkan dapat memberikan banyak manfaat kepada guru untuk menambah keterampilan dan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dengan mengimpementasikan teknik-teknik yang digunakan software engineer ke dalam setiap masalah yang terjadi. Ada 4 teknik yang digunakan yaitu dekomposisi atau memecah-mecah, pengenalan pola, abstraksi atau mengambil hal penting, algoritma atau pentahapan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dimulai dengan survey ke lokasi mitra, merencanakan pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan. Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan di SMPN 5 Sungailiat, Bangka selama satu hari. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan Computational Thinking dan Bebras untuk para guru SD dan SMP berjalan dengan baik dengan adanya peningkatan keterampilan dan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dengan mengimpementasikan teknik-teknik yang digunakan software engineer.

Abstract

Kemampuan dasar seperti membaca, menulis, dan berhitung (Calistung) sangat penting bagi perkembangan pendidikan anak usia dini. Namun, masih banyak anak yang mengalami hambatan dalam menguasai keterampilan ini, terutama jika pembelajaran disampaikan secara monoton dan kurang menarik. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengembangkan aplikasi digital pembelajaran calistung dengan menggunakan metode prototype, yang dirancang agar menjadi sarana belajar yang lebih menarik, interaktif, dan mudah dipahami oleh anak. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan tutor, observasi keterlibatan anak selama menggunakan aplikasi, penyebaran kuesioner kepada ahli materi, serta pelaksanaan pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur kemampuan anak sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan aplikasi. Dari hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode normalized gain, diperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 0,8 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mampu memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan calistung anak, adanya desain visual yang menarik, animasi yang mendukung pemahaman, serta pendekatan bermain sambil belajar yang meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan anak selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung.

Abstract

The results of the minimum surface roughness in the MORI SEIKI SL-25 CNC machining process, the parameters of the MORI SEIKI SL-25 CNC machining process are adjusted in order to obtain a minimum workpiece surface roughness reaction. The research that has been tried aims to ensure the contribution of the CNC MORI SEIKI SL-25 machining process parameters to reduce the alteration of the workpiece surface roughness reaction simultaneously. As well as setting the right parameters of the CNC MORI SEIKI SL-25 machining process parameters in order to obtain a minimum workpiece surface roughness. The machining process parameters that were varied were cutting speed, feed depth and feed motion. The experimental design was inaugurated based on the Taguchi method and in the form of an orthogonal matrix L9 (33). The analysis used is Taguchi. Experiments were carried out randomly with 3 replications to overcome the obstacles that occurred during the machining process. The research results show that to reduce the alteration of the response simultaneously, the cutting speed has a value of 61.98%, the depth of feed has a value of 16.28%. And eating motion has the smallest value of -12.45%. To obtain a minimum workpiece surface roughness on AISI 4340 steel with the MORI SEIKI SL-25 CNC machining process, the cutting speed is set at 130 m/min, the feed depth is set at 1.0 mm and the feed motion is set at 0.55 mm/put.

Abstract

Technological developments in education have opened up opportunities to introduce more interactive learning media, particularly in mathematics lessons in elementary schools, which are still dominated by lecture-style teaching methods. Students' limited understanding of fractions highlights the need for alternative media that can present the material visually and in an easy-to-understand manner. Based on these needs, this study developed a mobile learning application for fractions that integrates learning videos, 3D visualization based on Augmented Reality (AR), and a dynamic question bank. The development was carried out using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method through six stages, namely concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The application was tested on 15 fifth-grade students and a mathematics teacher to assess its feasibility, ease of use, material suitability, and interface display. The test results showed that the application was considered feasible and helped students understand the fraction material more concretely, especially through the 3D visualization and instructional video features. In addition, students responded positively to the application's flow and the variety of randomly presented exercises. Thus, this application can be an innovative learning medium that supports the mathematics learning process in elementary schools.
