Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa ditinjau dari kemampuan awal matematika.penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriftif eksploratif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 pada kelas X.subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siswa dengan kemampuan awal tinggi, dua siswa kemampuan awal sedang dan dua siswa kemampuan awal rendah. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah hasil tes dan hasil wawancara. Focus penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman siswa tentang logaritma berdasarkan kemampuan awal yang dimiliki. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep siswa dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan awal yang mereka miliki. Sehingga siswa dengan kemamapuan awal tinggi mendominasi lebih menguasai indikatoer pemahaman  konsep dibandingkan dengan siswa berkemampuan awal sedang atau rendah.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan usulan alternative penggunaan aplikasi pemrograman guna untuk peningkatan manajemen dalam memenuhi akuntabilitas pada koperasi simpan pinjam “ Gemah Ripah” desa Busukan, Mojosongo, Surakarta, dimana koperasi simpan pinjam tersebut didirikan dan dikelola oleh swadaya masyarakat, dimanfaatkan dan diperuntukkan oleh warga sendiri.Dengan adanya aplikasi Kosipin yang dikembangkan oleh tim abdimas tersebut, maka diharapkan dapat membantu optimalisasi kerja pengurus sehingga mampu menjaga keberlangsungan koperasi masyarakat tersebut sendiri. Pengembangan aplikasi tersebut dengan menggunakan Microsoft Acces, suatu program aplikasi keluaran Microsoft yang berguna untuk membuat, mengolah, dan mengelola database model relasional yang saling berhubungan sehingga menghasilkan informasi (report) semua input data tentang aktivitas keanggotaan dalam bentuk, peminjaman, riwayat peminjaman, setoran tabungan (simpanan) yang memudahkan pengurus untuk melakukan administrasi.

Abstract

To achieve the principle of good university governance, the use of state finances must be managed orderly, regulatory, efficiently, economically, effectively, transparently, responsibly and having fair sense and properly from the planning, implementation and its accountability process. In reality, not all universities are able to achieve the good university governance principles. This article aims to find out how the role of Internal Control Unit (SPI) in achieving the principles of good university governance in universities. We used qualitative method to find out how the role of SPI in achieving the good university governance principles. The informants in this study were selected by purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out by interview and the data analysis technique was carried out by data reduction, data presentation and making conclusion. The conclusion of this research was that the SPI had important role in the effort to achieve the principle of good university governance. However, there were some problems related to ineffectiveness of the SPI's role. The results of this research were to provide recommendation as well on the importance of research related to the effectiveness of internal control in higher education.

Abstract

The increasing use of social media in Indonesia has actually led to an increase in untrue news, often referred to as hoax news. In addition, social media is often used as a medium for spreading hate speech. So the thing that must be done to overcome these problems is to improve digital literacy to implement civic responsibility in everyone, which is done through the Pelita community in Semarang City. This research provides a literature review of the Pelita community's efforts to build citizens' digital literacy and the role of digital literacy in improving civic responsibility through Pelita. The results show that the Pelita community has provided a basic understanding of digital literacy so that it can increase a sense of civic responsibility.

Abstract

Vocational education has a very important role in the national education system to create a quality national workforce. One of the programs to increase the absorption of SMK graduates in industry is the existence of a partnership program between SMKs and the Business and Industrial World (DUDI). Based on 19 articles published in 2018-2022 concerning partnerships between SMKs and DUDI, several partnership models have been established, including curriculum alignment based on industry needs, teacher and student apprenticeships, guest teachers from industry, industrial visits, teaching factory assistance, testing competency certification, employee recruitment, and infrastructure support. Some of the obstacles and challenges encountered, namely the partnership program has not been implemented optimally, the work unit is not suitable, the contents of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) have not been fully realized, the form of partnership activity is unclear, lack of concern for both SMK and DUDI in implementing the partnership program, and competition between industry causes a lack of industry trust to involve students in the production process. While the opportunities that exist include the involvement of Vocational Schools in the production process through Teaching Factory, technology updates, student competency according to industry needs and the absorption of graduates by industry is increasing.

Abstract

The research aims to describe the management of character education based on Javanese culture of Surakarta Kasunanan Palace in Kasatriyan Surakarta Elementary School, with a descriptive qualitative research type, in the form of a single case study strategy. Data collection techniques used participatory observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and field notes. The results of the study concluded that the management of Javanese culture-based character education of Surakarta Palace in the form and implementation of the program. In terms of program form based on: The vision, mission and goals of the school, that the school implements Javanese culture-based education. Through its vision, SD Kasatriyan Surakarta wants to produce students who are knowledgeable, faithful, devoted to God Almighty and have noble character. Through its objectives, it wants to preserve regional culture through Local Content of Regional Language and it is expected that 75% of students are able to speak Javanese properly and correctly. In the school's mission, which is to promote education and establish partnerships with related agencies in order to prepare quality resources for common welfare. The teaching program through character education integrates Javanese culture, such as intracurricular programs. Extracurricular programs: karawitan, dranband and kulintang. Habituation teaching programs, such as: neatness of dress, good manners, shaking hands, speaking Javanese to communicate, especially during Javanese language lessons.

Abstract

The Indonesian people greatly emphasize Javanese culture and its role in preserving the environment. To support student growth, this study recommends prioritizing culture-based educational practices that align with national values, particularly at the elementary level. At SDN Kasatriyan Surakarta, the application of Javanese culture is integrated into teaching, intracurricular and extracurricular activities, and overall school culture. This approach enables students to develop character education values like simplicity (gumregah), hard work, cooperation (gotong royong), independence (ning rat ning set rules), and environmental concern (sahatmaka). Qualitative research drawing on interviews and observations underscores the value of Javanese culture-based education at the elementary level. The research shows that implementing such a program at Kraton Kasunanan Surakarta positively impacts student character development. The active involvement of educators is key to successful program implementation, as demonstrated by students' high level of engagement in learning activities and their success in various competitions.

Abstract

This study explores the challenges faced by elementary school teachers in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. In the era of globalization, education is becoming increasingly complex, emphasizing not only academic aspects but also the adaptability of graduates to the changing world. The aim of this research is to determine the challenges faced by teachers and the readiness of teachers in implementing the independent curriculum. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach to investigate the preparedness of elementary school teachers in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and document analysis. The evaluation of readiness encompasses indicators such as understanding the curriculum structure, planning, the learning process, module preparation, and assessment. Triangulation techniques ensure data accuracy. The findings reveal that teachers exhibit good readiness in planning and conducting lessons aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum. They comprehend the curriculum's principles and actively engage in developing lesson plans following the prescribed standards. Despite this positive outlook, challenges arise in terms of understanding and integrating key concepts, utilizing technology, and adapting assessment methods.

Abstract

Kreativitas merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang diperlukan oleh peserta didik di abad 21. Namun, keterampilan tersebut belum sesuai yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak ekstrakurikuler robotik dalam mengembangkan kreativitas peserta didik dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi ekstrakurikuler robotik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan systematic literature review. Jumlah artikel penelitian yang diteliti berjumlah 14 artikel. Artikel tersebut diperoleh dari ERIC Journal, PubMed, google scholar dan science direct. Kriteria artikel yang diteliti daam penelitian ini adalah tipe reseacrh article yang diterbitkan pada tahun 2019-2024, memiliki struktur yang lengkap, open acces dan menggunakan bahasa Inggris dan Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa kegiatan ekstrakurikuler robotik dapat mengembangkan keterampilan kreatif peserta didik baik sekaligus peningkatan pada domain kognitif berupa hasil belajar, psikomotorik berupa problem-solving, dan perilaku yang baik. Hal tersebut terlihat pada kemampuan peserta didik yang mampu mengembangkan gagasan dan ide dalam menciptakan karya dalam aktivitas robotik. Tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mengimplementasikan ekstrakurikuler robotik adalah kurangnya fasilitas infrastruktur untuk memenuhi perangkat keras dan lunak serta guru yang memiliki kompetensi tinggi dalam mengajarkan robotik. Selain itu, metode pembelajaran yang masih kurang dalam mengintegrasikan pengetahuan dengan perangkat lunak robotik menjadi tantangan yang harus dicarikan solusinya. Penelitian ini dapat memiliki implikasi untuk meningkatkan pemikiran kreatif siswa. Temuan ini menunjukkan perlunya pelatihan guru dan peningkatan infrastruktur untuk memaksimalkan potensi kegiatan robotika dalam menumbuhkan kreativitas. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk meneliti pengembangan model pembelajaran yang terintegrasi dengan pembelajaran robotika dalam memengaruhi keterampilan abad ke-21 lainnya.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran memerlukan kemampuan berpikir kritis untuk memudahkan siswa dalam memahami materi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Children Learning in Science (CLIS) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pada materi gaya. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan metode True Experiment Posttest-Only Control Design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 865 orang dari 35 SD Negeri yang ada di Kecamatan Kedawung dan sampelnya adalah 6 SD Negeri. 3 SD Negeri untuk kelompok eksperimen sebanyak 66 siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran CLIS dan 3 SD Negeri untuk kelompok kontrol sebanyak 65 siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes uraian kemampuan berpikir kritis yang telah memenuhi uji validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat ukuran, dan daya pembeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan perhitungan uji hipotesis Independent Sample t-test diperoleh nilai posttest nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < α (α = 0,05) dan nilai t hitung sebesar 2,621 > t tabel 1,669, artinya diterima hipotesis alternatif. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah model pembelajaran Children Learning in Science (CLIS) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi gaya.
