Abstract

One of the challenges when implementing a smart home system is the interoperability with the diversity of devices and technologies that are potentially used in an intelligent home system (Lakomiak, 2017). These challenges can be overcome by applying IoT gateways to a smart home system. IoT gateway is responsible for bridging between endpoint devices such as sensors and actuators with brokers so that these devices can send information to the broker and can be controlled by the client remotely. From that problem, Eclipse developed an IoT framework called Kura. The purpose of this study is to implement Kura on the prototype of a smart home systems and test the performance provided. To know the performance of the prototype of a smart home system built is done testing the validity of the system and calculation of the response time system. From the results of the tests conducted, it was found that in the automation cycle of publishing data from the client device to the smart device until the data returned displayed on the client device within 1 second, the system successfully perform the task and display the return to the client in accordance with the data published by the client. With the average response time in one cycle is 990.8 ms which is still less than 1 second, the performance of the intelligent home system prototype using the Kura framework can be categorized well and still accepted by the client (Neil, 2009).

Abstract

The IoT device provides the potential for obtaining data contextually, by observing and measuring the physical events occurring in the environment. Smart Home has great interest by IoT device developers. Using a semantic approach to data processing on IoT devices provides the ability to define, modify, and interpret better data. In this research uses Nodemcu ESP8266 as a microcontroller on sensor node and actuator node. Raspberry Pi3 is used as an agent that serves as a router and data collection center. Both devices already support wifi connectivity so as to facilitate the communication process. The sensor node is responsible for collecting data derived from the sensors process of the sensor module, the data obtained is sent to the agent to be initialized and inserted into the ontology. Agent performs the reasoning process to change existing data on the ontology according to the rule created and produce more representative and contextual data. The Actuator node performs a query against the current status of the lamp on the ontology as a reference for the action of switching on or off the lamp. Implementation in the form of lights on and off control system in smart home with semantic approach.

Abstract

Evaluation System of Early Childhood Education Learning aims to determine the growth and development of students, and see the success of the lesson plan. PAUD Seruni 05 records the daily activities in general in the assessment book. So the development of each student is not recorded in detail. This is in contrast to current curriculum principles. In Curriculum 2013 there are 3 kinds of assessment, namely anecdotes, checklist and artwork. The implementation of Curriculum 2013 makes it difficult for teachers because take long time to manage many detail events for each student in a day. Therefore, the Evaluation System of Early Childhood Education is developed to facilitate the process of assessment and reporting of child development. The system implements Rational Unified Process (RUP) to allow for early risk analysis, as it is developed iteratively and incrementally. Developed gradually and able to accommodate system improvements and requirements changes in Seruni 05, but keep the project schedule stay in timeline. Unit testing and integration testing show that cyclomatic complexity ≤ 10. Usability testing implementing System Usability Scale (SUS) generate 84,9. Compatibility testing shows that the system can run on various smartphones Android OS version 2.3 and above.

Abstract

CV. Baiducha Technology is one of the manufacturing companies engaged in game equipment construction. Along with the development of the company towards a larger and complex, the existing information management system in the company became one of the obstacle fluency the internal production activities. So far, the company does not have an integrated system in processing all business activities, recording and processing of information flows of companies that are prone to error because it is still done manually, and also has not been integrated between the company and the supplier causing the company still make the process of ordering raw materials only through the telephone network. In addition, the absence of an information system that can manage the supply chain process in internal company more effectively and efficiently. This study aims to develop an Electronic Supply Chain Management information system that can assist in improving the company's performance in order to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in its business processes. Software development is done using a waterfall model, where there are several steps that must be done sequentially. On testing software functionality using blackbox method and whitebox method. Based on the results of functionality testing that has been done indicate that this system has met the needs in accordance with the specified specifications, and also the results of compatibility testing shows that the system can run well on various different browsers.

Abstract

Requirement change is an inevitable in software development activity. It can happen when stakeholders change their requirements. By the time requirements change becomes more complicated in software development. Requirements change are hardly achieved well because the lack of communication among stakeholders and software developer. Requirements change impact can affect process, cost, and schedule of software development. In this research a mehod and framework will be explained to resolve this problem. The framework includes all the process that required in requirement change management. The framework start with stakeholder write down what their needs, then analyzed, and finally some vote will be done to determine wether requirement change is worth to be implemented or not. Past research used to solve this problem will be explained too.There is also a method to count impact occurred when requirement change will be implemented. This method count time to implement, cost, and time left before the deadline come. Some data taken to support this problem in requirement change. The data is taken from Inagata Technosmith Software house in Malang city.

Abstract

Technology development nowdays has reached all areas including education.With the support of technology, teaching and learning activities can be increase to a better level. SMP Negeri 1 Cikarang Barat has adequate technology facilities, but the facility is not fully utilized yet for teaching and learning activities. In this research, developed a learning application called E-School which has a feature to detect plagiarism on the answers of tasks and student quizzes which type is essay. The plagiarism detection feature will be developed by applying knuth-morris-pratt algorithm. The application applying the Evolutionary Prototype approach that could be help stakeholders and system developers in exploring system requirement specification as desired by stakeholder. By applying Evolutionary Prototype approch,. stakeholders can work together as to what will be developed and this will impact some additional and functional changes between the first prototype and the second prototype. Stakeholder and developer can evaluated the prototype of the application that is being developed, this can be simplify the communication in the aim for system elicitation and this can avoid some of misunderstanding between stakeholder and developer in builiding application. The results of the test obtained all the functionality contained in the application first prototype and second prototype has been running well and the second prototype can be used by stakeholder.

Abstract

At this time, the monitoring system conducted by farmers still using manual procedures, namely to check directly to the field. At the time of manual checking can occur error at the time of input data such as writing errors due to the number of data. From these problems, it is necessary that the system periodically checks on the state of the plant. Therefore WSN is used as a means of checking wirelessly to facilitate the monitoring of plants and state machine methods used as a method used in research. In this research used several sensors, among others, temperature sensors, light sensors, and soil sensors. In this research the state machine method is used as a useful method to see the behavior of systems that have been made by researchers. Tests on the system made done as much as 6 times that is ,times the test on the execution of each state, testing the length of transition execution, testing the total state execution time and transition, sensor testing, data delivery testing, and sleep mode test. So the result of the implementation of state machine method successfully done with the system running. In this Research the average results of state testing as much as 10 times the total state station transition is state “diam” 21543.6 microsecond, state “termonitor” 921594.4 microsecond, and “terkirim” 1161218.4 microsecond. Then the results of the tested sensors in accordance with the expected and incoming data in accordance with the display serial monitor. For sleep mode test is not in accordance with the settings that have been done due to a delay factor in the program that affects the of the system becomes longer than the time specified.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya is one of school which has Its own job market that aim to inform such as apply a job, counseling about positioning and distribution to job market through website. System should have good quality to achieve vision and mision of Job Market of SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya. The purpose of this research is how to evaluate Job Market website of SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya using Web Based Application Quality Model (WBAQM) which has factors on three perspective. Developer perspective has maintainability factor which tested using Maintainability Index (MI), portability factor focused on compatibility website on seven desktop browser and five mobile browser. Visitor perspective has usability, accessibility, and content which tested using WQU (Website Questionnaire Usability). Credibility factor tested using questionnaire by BJ Fogg. Functionality factor tested using validation testing to all existing functionality requirement. Security factor tested using Acunetix Website Vulnerability tool. Owner perspective has differentiation and popularity factors tested by review how good credibility and accessibility website are. The result known that maintainability, portability, and functionality has achieve the expected result. While usability, accessibility, content, credibility, popularity, and differentiation needs some improvement.

Abstract

University of Muhammadiyah Gresik (UMG) is private university that has many faculties and study program, one of them is Industrial Engineering (TI). TI UMG has a web-based information system called Academic Information System (SIAKAD). SIAKAD is a system at the university level that only serves for filling card study plan (KRS) and lecturers marking grades only, not including on the management of submission of Job Training (PKL), Thesis, Seminar and Thesis Defence. Some activities in TI UMG are done by manual procedure such as: job training and thesis registration. Three out of seven respondents say that without the system, number of students that have registered and have not is unknown. Two of the seven respondents stated that the current system is still less efficient. Therefore, a system is needed to fix the existing problem. The purpose of this research is to design a Thesis dan Field Job Practice Management Information System using Ripple methodology with design testing using Requirement Traceability. The results of this study are class diagrams, sequence diagrams, database schema and interface design. Then the results of the design tests show each requirement has unique code that can be traced to features, use cases, communication and sequence diagrams.

Abstract

The information technology development is growing rapidly and the main problem is how to process data to give useful information and easy to use by user. Warehouse management system that curently used on Dr. Murjani Sampit hospital is manual. Data recording done by write on books and excel files, with the number of in and out of goods makes record and search for data become inefficient in term of time and effort. Assigning tasks to someone who did this manual system led to possible errors in writing and data processing. From these problems it is necessary to develop an information system application that can handle recording, storing, processing and reporting automatically to make work easier and reduce data processing error. Research was done by Iterative Life Cycle and system builted using PHP, MySQL, and Javascript technology. Compatibility testing showed system running well on Google Chrome and Firefox Mozzila later on white-box testing showed from 20 test cases 100% result is valid and from black-box testing obtained from 65 test cases 100% result is valid. The results of these tests indicate that the system successfully analyzed its needs and implemented according with the design.System implementation may resolve the manual system problem which occur at the hospital.
