Abstract

Rental is an agreement through payment services for use of an item or property temporarily by another party or other person. Nowadays, the rental business is various, one of them is outbound, mountaineering, and communication tools rental. Do-Rent is one of rental business In Malang. In this digital era, Do-Rent wants to expand the business by using the website due to high demand day by day. Do-Rent Malang still uses conventional procedure, so that the clients from Malang and outside Malang have to come to the offline store for knowing the available tools. As the solution, a website-based application is carried out that facilitates the clients for booking or renting, both in the city and outside the city. From this case, the process of engineering needs is carried out and produces 19 functional needed and 1 non-functional needed. Furthermore, architecture planning, data planning, component planning, and interface planning are also carried out that will become a reference when doing the implementation of code program and interface. This system using unit testing, validation testing, and compatibility testing. From the system, the results of the test case are 100% valid and compatibility system testing runs well on 8 browsers.

Abstract

Married is activity that everyone will do someday when they grown up. Based on Badan Pusat Statistik's data on 2015 there's 1.958.394 couples who had married in Indonesia, in East Java itself, there's 313.150 couples who had married and had recorded. It's a lot of number if its compared to a number of all couples who had married in Indonesia. The marriage itself, has an aim to unite two persons in marriage vows. Theres must be a wedding ceremony to celebrate that marriage. That wedding ceremony have some kind of variant that based on the tradition, tribe, the habit and the religion of the couple. So the couple wants the wedding ceremony be the unforgetable one. In wedding ceremony, theres banquets for the guests, decorations, make up for the bride and the groom and the gifts. But, theres a lot of couples that hard to arrange their time to find the right vendor or wedding organizer that suit their wedding's theme and to arrange the wedding ceremony. Beside, information about the vendor or wedding organizer are difficult to find, because of the lack of promotion. So, that's why this research are made to develop a system to connect the vendor with the couples. There's 2 platform in this system, that are in website and mobile. For the vendor, they can access the website platform to input detail information about their bussiness. For the couple, they can access the mobile platform to search and get information about vendor. While developing this system, the researcher use the Restful Webservice method to share data between that platform, so the system can't directly access the data in database. And the system access data from API that it provided in JSON form.

Abstract

In Riau Province, Pekanbaru City, in the accommodation category of housing rentals in 2012, experiencing rapid development due to the impact of the 2012 Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON), communities competed to build properties such as hotels, homestays, boarding houses, condominiums, and guesthouses to meet the needs of migrants from outside Riau province. But in 2013 the use of these properties changed over from previously intended athletes, organizers, and spectators outside of the province which became massive people who wanted to work in Pekanbaru. So that small properties such as homestays and boarding houses are unable to compete with hotels that already have their own markets. Based on the problems that have been formulated above, a web-based software is developed, namely Homie. The purpose of this software is to create a market for the owners of residential rental properties where owners and customers of residential tenants can be reunited. From the results of this study twenty-two functional requirements and one non-functional requirement were obtained from the needs analysis stage, then architectural design, component design, database design, and interface design used to generate system implementation. Then in the testing phase the results of three unit tests, one integration test, and twenty-four validation tests that provide a 100% valid value are obtained. Then on compatibility testing the results are that Homie applications can run on 8 types of browsers including edge, firefox, safari, google chrome, iOS devices, and android devices.

Abstract

Children are the gift of God Almighty who must be grateful and become something beautiful for someone who is married. But not even the least parents who pay less attention to the child's growth needs, especially the need for educational activities that help him find hobbies, characteristics, and aspects that help child growth and development. Various problems were faced when the community or especially parents who want to find the best place for their children with all the work or other business activities. One of the ways that the author offers is through the media of Android applications as a medium of information and ordering educational children's activities. In the development of applications, the Waterfall method was used which began with interviews with parents who had children aged 9 months - 4 years. Then the application is designed with the Object Oriented Design method and implemented with the Object Oriented Programming method. The result of the implementation is that the application utilizes the programming language kotlin programming and the use of webservice for the process of exchanging data through the API (application programming interface) that has been made at the implementation stage. The system has been tested by unit testing for the 3 main functions of the system, validation testing for all needs, testing produces valid values ​​for all test cases. While at the usability testing stage with the System Usability Scale (SUS) method this application gets a score of 83 with satisfaction levels Very Good (SB) or above average.

Abstract

The implementation of the thesis at the Faculty of Computer Science, University of Brawijaya (FILKOM UB) experienced several obstacles experienced by students. One of the obstacles is that it is difficult for students to choose prospective thesis supervisors who are suitable with the thesis topic to be examined. One way that can be done is to know the thesis that has been guided by a lecturer. Journal of Information Technology and Computer Science Development (JPTIIK) is a website that provides thesis information from FILKOM UB students. Students can search for theses that are guided by lecturers by searching based on keyword names of lecturers on JPTIIK. But the search results on JPTIIK are often irrelevant, because the data sought is not interconnected. In this study, a thesis supervisor application search system was developed that uses semantic web technology to connect and map data. Data is mapped into ontologies to facilitate searching. The search system is supported by cosine similarity so that search results can be ranked based on the degree of similarity of the thesis. The development method used in this system is the waterfall method. The system is tested using unit tests, validation and compatibility. The results of validation testing conducted in all test cases give a value of 100% valid.

Abstract

HIPPAM Dharma Tirta Bogorejo Village is one of the Water Distribution Business Entities in Bogorejo Village, Bancar-Tuban District. The village head of Bogorejo explained that the management of HIPPAM's annual recapitulation and customer data is still done manually, which is recorded in a book. Customers also often do not pay attention to the amount of usage, do not remember the payment due and the absence of prior notice of problems related to HIPPAM. The clerk also still records the amount of usage and the amount of the customer's water payment by recording it in a book. This research will discuss the maximum data collection method for monitoring the amount of water use by making a website and android based application. The officer scans the QR Code as the customer id attached to each stand meter to enter customer data and will automatically be stored in the database. Notifications regarding HIPPAM issues are sent via SMS Gateway. The prototyping method is used because it has a development flow to find out the immediate needs of users and meet changing needs. Observations and interviews are used in the data collection process. Tests carried out namely testing functionality including unit testing and validation obtained all valid results. Non-functional testing is usability with the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. Based on the results of usability testing conducted, a score of 100 was obtained from the admin side, 82.5 from the customer side and 100 from the officer side. These figures prove and can be concluded if the application is acceptable, has good usability, convenience and satisfaction for the user.

Abstract

Banyuwangi Regency annually organizes a series of events entitled Banyuwangi Festival and it first held in 2012 with a total of 10 events, and now it is reaching 99 events. However, many problems must be faced by the organizers, for example, in 2016 there was a ticket forgery incident by an irresponsible person at the Banyuwangi Beach Jazz Festival. That incident happened due to the absence of a centralized system in the ticket reservation process at each event. Nowadays, web information systems and portals can help to integrate specific applications such as business intelligence, e-commerce or other application service providers. That ease was then integrated with the Banyuwangi Festival so that the BFEST website was developed, which could help organizers in festival management and ticket reservations more safely and centrally. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method with needs analysis done twice and then produce 34 functional needs and one non-functional needs, then it was implemented using the PHP programming language in the CodeIgniter framework. This system has been tested with the white box testing method for unit and integration test and black-box testing for validation test which produces 45 test cases with 100% valid results, compatibility testing for non-functional requirements using SortSite tools and proven the system can run on several websites browser or mobile browser. Abstract

House is a place to live in which isthe construction really needs special attention to make it a dream home. Building a house is not an easy matter for people in general, because building a house requires a lot of costs and needs to be considered. Likewise, the time needed to consider in building a house so that overtime does not occur which also results in over budget. The first problem that occurs is overbudget, namely the existence of an unexpected and excessive reporting expected by the person who is going to build a house and usually that person has previously done a budget calculation manually so that it can produce the results of the calculation manually and the funds actually processing the development process. The second problem that occurs is overtime, namely the existence of construction work time that is past the predetermined time. These problems are also interrelated because the craftsman cannot finish his work according to the desired target will result in overbudget. Likewise, a compilation of people need problems finding the location of the nearest building material store, this takes quite a long time just to find the material. This can also cause overtime because the builders can use 100m2 in a day because searching for the final material can only finish 75m2. To consider this problem the development of a system that aims to make it easier for someone to calculate the cost of building an Android-based home. The results from unit testing, integration testing, validation testing and accuray testing produce 100% valid.

Abstract

Scheduling is a process by which time is fully divided according to the activities carried out. However, the scheduling process that is not carried out properly will cause problems like what happened at the Disability Study and Service Center Brawijaya University (PSLD)r. The process of completing the schedule currently carried out in PSLD is by selling so that it is found a schedule that conflicts with human error factors. In addition, the scheduling system is still difficult to change volunteers. Volunteers offered cannot provide assistance. Therefore, this study aims to develop a scheduling system that can minimize human error and make it easier to make volunteer changes. System development is carried out through several stages, namely: needs analysis, design, implementation, and system testing. System development is done by object oriented learning. The software development method used is a prototype with 2 iterations. The system implementation is carried out using the PHP programming language with the help of the CodeIgniter and Bootstrap framework. Testing is done by testing the white box testing with unit testing using the basic path testing method and black box testing with validation testing. The results of this study indicate that the system is implemented in accordance with user requirements that have been determined, shown from the results of unit testing and validation testing of 100% valid

Abstract

PT. Abadi Ario Sekawan is a construction company specializing in roofing construction and supplier. PT Abadi Ario Sekawan is still using simple data management and transactions with Microsoft Excel. Because in the business management is still using manual system, it causes difficulties in the provision of inventory goods. Other problems, the company does not have a system to manage the inventory goods, so to carry out all the purchase transactions, sales and production, the company is using method by estimating the remaining raw materials or goods available in the warehouse. When running the roof production, the company estimates the completion time, the amount of raw materials production by calculating the manual which impacts take longer. With these problems, this research is done to develop a transaction management system of purchase, sales and web-based production that can manage the inventory goods and the data recording of transactions. The Rough Cut Capacity Planning method is used to calculate the approximate capacity of the machine. The stages involved in the development of this system are the needs of analysis, design system, implementation and testing. Analysis of needs is done by a direct interview to the company, while the design of the system used object oriented approach. Implementation is based on design system and implemented using PHP programming language, with Codeigniter framework. Tests conducted were testing white-box, black-box and compatibility testing. The White-box testing was conducted with unit testing, the Blackbox testing was conducted with validation testing. The result of the application system testing of purchase transactions, sales and production is valid 100%.
