Abstract

Public complaints are needed in an agency to find out the success of the work, improve deficiencies and receive advice from the tasks that have been carried out. Public complaints usually occur in the field of facilities and public services, where the sector is handled by the Department of Transportation. The public complaint has not been conveyed properly, making the community confused about who to complain to. So in this study discusses about developing a public complaint application on the Transportation Department of Malang City based on Android to facilitate the public in reporting complaints. This application uses the Location Based Service feature that is used to make it easier to find the location of the reporter. Public complaints application can send proof of complaints that occur such as photos through the smartphone application by taking photos from the camera directly or from the reporter's smartphone gallery. Mobile applications are implemented using the Java programming language while the web for administrators is built using the Laravel Framework. This application is tested using whitebox testing for unit testing and integration testing, blackbox testing for testing validation and usability testing. The test results on the application of public complaints state that this application can run as needed and can be used easily by users by having a 83,75 System Usability Scale score or can be said to be acceptable.

Abstract

Posyandu is health services program where it facilitated by government to community, however the program is from goverment, posyandu held by community to comunnity. Although this program held by community, the Ministry of Health also has a role in overseeing and supporting every activity in the posyandu both technically and financially. Posyandu offers the community so many services such as Basic Health Service for mother and child, Family Planning Service, Immunization for Kids and Infants, Information of aNutrition Delivery Service, and Diarrhea Prevention and Treatment Service. All of the services are written on a pocket book that happens to be the health guidance. But information in the form of a book still has some boundaries in its usage. We often forget where we put the book or even it gets lost. So that the author is currently doing a research of developing an application that may help record the process of administration recording of Posyandu's services and remember the Posyandu's activity schedule, by recording administration of posyandu service in an application that can help the community to obtain information about posyandu services and remember schedules of the posyandu. This application is developed using Java programming language and using firebase database technology to save data of the application. Firebase is the newes of technology by Google that can be use to many platform one of many of the platform is mobile. So this application can remind the user to be able to remember posyandu activities according to the existing schedule. This application can be developed based on design program. This application already tested using some software testing, that is unit testing, integration testing and validation testing. This application can be used easily, based on testing that has been done using usability testing, that get 83,5 score of SUS, this score is classified to the acceptable category.

Abstract

Ease of access and teaching-learning activities in e-Learning raises a new problem, where there are some students who found a difficulties to do a task in e-Learning and lack of motivation in doing the task. With the Code Maniac e-Learning website was help students in the learning process, but haven't been able built the students motivation. So in this study will enhance CodeManiac e-Learning website with the addition of chatbot to provide motivation to users and actively capture user behavior and give a messages based on user behavior. In this study writer used AIML. AIML itself is subset of XML. Like XML, AIML here as the language used to construct chatbot logic which contains a set of patterns and responses that can be used by chatbot to track answers every sentence given. With this implementation has been motivated CodeManiac users feels by the chatbot who can interact with users and actively captures user behavior. In final step on the enhancement of codemaniac has been tested with whitebox testing, blackbox testing and usability testing with each score 100% valid, 100% valid and 88%.

Abstract

Requirements elicitation is an important process in software engineering that used to get information about the system scope and needs that will be built. This elicitation process determines the success of the software, where if there is an error in defining the requirements it will cause system to failure. In this process the stakeholders' role is needed to help the software development team determine what kind of system will be built. But, in the process there are several problems that can hinder the elicitation process. The first problem is that stakeholders usually having trouble when defining the desired system and the lacks of knowledge that the development team have about scope of the system, caused a misunderstanding in defining the requirements. On the other hand, the low enthusiasm of stakeholders makes the requirements elicitation proses has been more difficult, so the requirements that been produced has a poor quality. Based on these problems, need an innovation in the process of elicitation to overcome existing problems. The gamification concept is the way that can be done to make an activity more interesting, so that it can increase the stakeholders' enthusiasm to participate in the process of requirements elicitation. The requirements elicitation system with gamification concept is expected to be able to make collaboration between stakeholders and the development team easier, therefore they can produce a requirement with a good quality. This system is made with website technology and has been tested with the Whitebox testing method for unit testing and integration testing, and the Blackbox testing method for validation testing which resulting in a 100% valid value for all test cases then, usability testing which resulting in 82.5 with acceptable category.

Abstract

In this modern era, information technology has developed very rapidly. So that it affects the strength of the business sector, including the sports rental business. Now, to implement adequate information technology, small and large sports venues do not need to worry about allocating large amounts of funds. With the aim of making a profit and being able to compete in a wider market. One of them is using online-based information technology called e-commerce. The development of e-commerce is also accompanied by the development of payment gateways. The combination of e-commerce and payment gateways is expected to be a solution to the problems that exist in the sports rental business that is currently happening. The first problem that occurs is that there is a buyer who finds it difficult to find a sporting place around him in accordance with his wishes. The second problem is the recording of sports booking transactions that are still done manually so that the owner of a sports venue often has difficulty managing the transactions that are in the place of his sport. Because the problem above, PlayOn software was developed. With the leasing business process between the owner of the gym to the customer (B2C) and the customer to the customer (C2C). With the creation of this software, the hope of the above problems can be resolved. The system has been tested by unit testing, integration testing, and validation testing and producing a 100% valid value. In testing compatibility in getting the results that the software can be run there are all types of browsers and Android and iOS devices.

Abstract

The scarcity of subsidized LPG is become the biggest problem for the people in lower to middle class. This scarcity triggered by the increasing of the community that used LPG. In addition, scarcity had been caused by a fraud of some people whose shouldn't use a subsidized LPG. For the some people whose the cattle breeders in Claket Village isn't unfortunate this problem, because they are recycling cow manures become to a biogas. Than, the product of biogas can be alleviate for the breeders themselves and for the neighbours if they needed. However, there's nothing cost controller had been used to control the user for using biogas, so they needed a tool that can be used to control a biogas payment. Therefore, the solution was offered by make a web-based biogas payment system by applying the internet of things concept. The internet of things concept is built with the NodeMCU based module and it's working in MQTT network protocol as a bridge of data communication. This device will be used to detect a biogas flows and converting into data. Furthermore, it will be send and process into biogas payment system. Finally, several stages of testing are carried out on the system which results in a valid percentage of 100%.

Abstract

Software maintenance is a software development phase that requires more effort, time, and cost. One of the causes of maintenance problems is the high value of software complexity. Developers will find it difficult to understand the software when doing maintenance or if there are changes. In the Object Oriented approach (OO) the use of inheritance, encapsulation, coupling, polymorphism, etc. can facilitate developers in building software. However, the use of high inheritance can also result in high values ​​of complexity. Manually calculating the complexity of a lot of software requires a lot of time and resources. Therefore, it is easy to help calculating software complexity using the Cognitive Weighted Inherited Class Complexity (CWICC) ​​metric. CWICC metrics are OO metrics that function to calculate the complexity of software based on an understanding of the attributes, methods, and inheritance of a class. This system has been built on the programming language of Java and also has been tested using unit testing and integration testing that uses whitebox testing and validations testing that use blackbox testing. This system has an accuracy of 100% and the time for calculating with system is 356 times more faster than with manually.

Abstract

Brawijaya University's Faculty of Administrative Sciences (FIA UB) lecturers have activities besides providing lectures on campus, like lecturers who carry out their activities for faculty and personal needs. It causes several problems, the first is that there are a queue and accumulation of work rather than those are who have the authority to allow the activities. The second problem is the submission of the draft assignment letter can only be submitted after the submission of activities has been approved by the authorized party to approve it. The third problem is that the Activity Applicant sometimes forgets to report the results of activities and bookkeeping of the Accountability Letter (SPJ). Problems that have been mentioned, can affect the faculty and department accreditation activities, if there are incomplete files when it is needed. Also, the dean and staff want to know the activities and the event rather than the lecturers. To solve the problems developed a system that purposes to manage and make it easier to submit activities until reporting. By referring to the Procedure Operating System (POS), it can help the development of the system that will be developed. The system involves 7 actors, the needs of elicitation are producing 37 functional needs. The tests in this system include unit testing, integration testing, validation testing and compatibility testing of the system. The benefits that can be received from the Applicant are the ease of submitting activities and draft assignments because they do not work twice. Also, the Deans and their staff will be easier to know the activities of the Lecturers at FIA UB.

Abstract

Software development cycle has many phases and software will undergo one of these phases, namely the testing phase where unit of program or program will be tested before being given to client to ensure the software already has things that match the needs that have been defined and each unit is in accordance with its specifications. Moreover, purpose of the testing phase is to find program defects before use. Ability of software to maintain its performance level under specified conditions for a time period is called reliability. Measurement of software reliability is centered on failures and failure intensity where failure intensity is the number of occurrences of failure in a certain time period. Failure intensity can be seen from predictable failure rates with many techniques, one of which is Musa 's algorithm that can be used at the start of testing. This system has been tested using the white box testing method with basis path testing techniques in unit testing and integration testing and black box testing methods in validation testing. This system has an accuracy rate of 100% and the duration to calculate the failure rate using the system is an average of 2000 times faster than manual calculation.

Abstract

There has arisen awareness of some people in meeting educational needs that help their children grow up at an early age. It's just, still often encountered difficulties when parents want to find a place for educational activities, especially those that are friendly to children. Based on that, a Parentstory system has been created to find and locate children's educational activities in Jabodetabek with website-based. However, in a condition where people are increasingly aware of the use of gadgets, providing a website-based system is not yet practical. Therefore, a system is needed that can also be developed in the form of a mobile application to increase system service penetration, especially to people who use iOS-based gadgets. The problem faced in providing the intended application is how needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing must be carried out so that the application is easy to use in accordance with the needs of the community. Based on the above problems, this research is carried out to develop iOS-based mobile applications as a means to find, discover and place reservations for children's educational activities, especially in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) areas. This study began with a needs analysis that found 25 functional system requirements. Next, a design with Model View Controller (MVC) and a MySQL database are implemented which is implemented using Swift language. The testing phase is done by white and black box test methods. White box testing is done by unit testing. While black box testing uses validation testing which produces a 100% valid value for all test cases where the application made is in accordance with the results of previous analysis and design, and usability testing which produces an 80.4 value with an acceptable category.
