Abstract

Education plays a strategic role in shaping students' religious character, making the development of a religious school culture an essential necessity in addressing the challenges of moral degradation in the era of globalization. This study aims to analyze Islamic leadership management in the development of a religious school culture in several schools in Indonesia. The study uses a qualitative approach with a multisite study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document studies involving principals, teachers, education staff, and students as informants. Data analysis was conducted thematically using an interactive analysis model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, and its validity was tested through triangulation and member checking. The research results indicate that Islamic leadership management is applied systematically and continuously through the functions of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating school programs. The principal plays a central role not only as an administrative manager but also as a moral and spiritual exemplar in fostering the internalization of Islamic values. The development of a religious school culture is realized through the habituation of worship, the integration of religious values into the learning process, and the formation of students' and school members' morals and ethics. The research findings confirm that Islamic leadership that is trustworthy, participative, and consistent can build a religious school culture that is tangibly internalized in school life and contributes to the holistic character formation of students.

Abstract

Edukasi etika sosial dan moderasi beragama yang dilaksanakan melalui kolaborasi antara akademisi dan mahasiswa bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman, sikap, dan praktik sosial masyarakat dalam berbagai situasi kehidupan. Metode pelaksanaannya dirancang secara sistematis, dengan memprioritaskan pendekatan partisipatif, edukatif, dan kolaboratif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap konsep etika sosial dan moderasi beragama secara lebih komprehensif. Selain itu, kegiatan ini mendorong peningkatan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam berbagai aktivitas sosial, yang tercermin dari munculnya inisiatif kolektif dan penguatan kohesi sosial di tingkat komunitas. Terbangunnya sinergi antara akademisi, mahasiswa, dan masyarakat menjadi faktor penting dalam keberhasilan program, sekaligus melahirkan agen-agen perubahan yang berperan dalam menjaga keberlanjutan nilai-nilai yang telah ditanamkan. Meskipun demikian, pelaksanaan kegiatan menghadapi sejumlah tantangan, antara lain keberagaman latar belakang masyarakat, resistensi terhadap konsep moderasi beragama, serta keterbatasan waktu pelaksanaan. Tantangan tersebut memerlukan strategi adaptif dan pendekatan berkelanjutan agar dampak program dapat dioptimalkan. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini tidak hanya berkontribusi pada peningkatan pengetahuan, tetapi juga pada penguatan kapasitas sosial masyarakat dalam membangun kehidupan yang harmonis dan inklusif.

Abstract

The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector in Indonesia faces significant challenges in maintaining relevance in an increasingly competitive digital market, particularly in producing high-quality visual content and promotional narratives. This community service program aims to accelerate MSME digital marketing through the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen-AI) as a creative tool. The service delivery method includes intensive workshops, technical assistance, and content evaluation using AI-based tools such as Canva Magic Studio, ChatGPT, and Midjourney. The program results demonstrated a significant 70% increase in content production efficiency and an increase in visual aesthetic quality, which is able to attract higher audience engagement on social media. Furthermore, participants demonstrated increased digital literacy in formulating effective prompts to produce persuasive promotional narratives. The conclusion of this activity is that the adoption of generative AI technology not only reduces marketing operational costs but also democratizes access to professional design for small businesses. The program recommends the need for ongoing assistance to ensure ethical use of AI and consistent branding of MSME products in the digital ecosystem.

Abstract

Background: Aceh Singkil students migrating to Banda Aceh for higher education enter a highly diverse, multi-ethnic urban campus environment. As an ethnic minority, these students face significant social and linguistic pressures to adapt to the dominant cultural norms, risking the loss of their distinct “Kalak Kampong” (village resident) identity and native language. Objective: This study investigates how Aceh Singkil diaspora students negotiate and maintain their Kalak Kampong cultural identity while dealing with these adaptation pressures in Banda Aceh. Methodology: Using a qualitative descriptive approach, primary data was collected through in-depth interviews with 10 Aceh Singkil students enrolled in various universities. The transcripts were analyzed utilizing the Miles and Huberman interactive model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion verification. Key Findings: The findings reveal that students actively employ strategic code-switching and bicultural integration. They utilize the Indonesian language and modify their social behavior for interethnic communication to ensure academic and social integration. Simultaneously, they strictly preserve the Singkil language and core communal values during intra-group interactions to maintain hometown solidarity. Furthermore, students maintained strong cultural pride and benefited from a welcoming campus environment that fostered curiosity rather than prejudice. Implications: The study demonstrates that internal provincial student mobility does not inherently erase minority identities. The practical implications highlight the need for university administrators to design inclusive campus policies and revitalize formal regional student organizations to actively support cultural diversity and bicultural resilience in modern educational hubs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Sejarah Islam kelas 2 KMI Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Putri Kampus 2, Mantingan, yang ditandai dengan banyaknya siswa yang belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) 4,9. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan media pembelajaran Kartu Domino. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing meliputi tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 25 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai siswa pada siklus I sebesar 5,48 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 48%, kemudian meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 7,6 dengan ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 92%. Peningkatan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Kartu Domino efektif dalam meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Sejarah Islam. Dengan demikian, media Kartu Domino dapat dijadikan alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang inovatif dan menyenangkan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran..
