Abstract

This study aims to explain the role of a principal of SMP Muhammadiyah 02 Medan in developing students' interests and talents through various strategic initiatives and programs. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study analyzes the principal's profile, the programs implemented, and the positive impacts achieved. The results show that the principal of SMP Muhammadiyah 02 Medan has successfully led the implementation of programs such as improving the quality of teaching, updating school infrastructure, and developing extracurricular activities that improve students' academic achievement. In terms of interests and talents, the principal of SMP Muhammadiyah 02 Medan designed several strategies, namely adding literacy reading materials in the library, providing educational websites and applications as learning resources, providing adequate facilities and infrastructure, good school management, providing opportunities for students to explore interests and talents, and encouraging students' individual motivation and awareness. This strategy will strengthen the character and skills of the students.

Abstract

Industrial globalization, which is now characterized by 4.0, forces people to keep up with its rapid pace, therefore organizational studies must also align equipment in the form of mobile, marketing facilities, and no less importantly it needs to be operationalized so that elements are fulfilled and utilized through potential and professionalism in each work effectiveness that has been structured. The data used is qualitative. In each study, references and literacy explorations are appropriate for the object of study. its nature is to analyze and even try to synthesize findings, in the form of data, with the methods used through reduction and cross-checking of data, which have relevance. Then present the data, and conclude and check the results of the research continues in the research process. The findings in this research library include: 1) Organization is the work of each unit that shares common goals with a leader who is responsible for embodying the process and goals of the organization as a whole. 2) Organizational engineering is constructive renewal or innovation, which adapts to market and customer (society) demands in aligning the challenges of the globalization era so that organizational programs become effective and efficient. 3) The era of globalization 4.0 demands proficiency in the use and use of technology. Completion of various tasks, and increasing the competence of employees or subordinates, to make it easier for leaders to evaluate and reduce each work result. Therefore the development of the skills and competencies of people in the organization is a necessity. It is no exception in educational organizations, all education administrators must adapt to technological advances, as well as teachers who play a very important role as agents of transformation to strengthen human resources following the demands of the era of industrial globalization era 4.0. 4) The era of globalization 4.0 is the advancement of technological media so that job demands are fast and easy, minimizing time, and reducing effort. In implementing the 4.0 industrial revolution era, both from human capital, structural capital and collaborative capital with social connections, so that input, output and outcomes can be aligned.

Abstract

Lecturer quality is a key determinant of higher education performance, yet universities face persistent challenges in developing teaching staff effectively. This study examines and compares strategies for lecturer development and the obstacles encountered by Indonesian universities in improving academic staff quality. Using a qualitative approach with a multisite study design, the research was conducted at four universities—two public and two private—selected to reflect geographical diversity and institutional characteristics. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and analysis of institutional documents, and were analyzed thematically. The findings indicate that lecturer development strategies commonly include continuous professional training, scholarship programs for advanced study, international collaboration, and performance-based incentive systems. Despite these efforts, implementation is constrained by limited budgets, resistance to organizational change, complex administrative procedures, and unequal access to resources across institutions. The study highlights the need for more adaptive and context-sensitive lecturer development policies. Strengthening inter-institutional collaboration and aligning development programs with institutional capacities and local needs are critical to overcoming existing barriers. This study contributes practical insights for policymakers and university leaders in designing more effective and sustainable lecturer development strategies tailored to diverse institutional contexts.

Abstract

This study explores how holistic education management contributes to students’ adaptive abilities in academic and social contexts at State Senior High School 10 Medan. In the face of 21st-century challenges, adaptability has become a critical skill, and holistic education offers a promising framework. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis involving school leaders, teachers, students, and parents. Thematic analysis was employed to interpret patterns related to curriculum, pedagogy, collaboration, and school culture. Findings reveal four key components that support student adaptability. First, the integration of academic, character, social, and spiritual elements in the curriculum enhances students’ academic and social resilience. Second, Project-Based Learning fosters critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork. Third, collaboration among schools, families, and communities strengthens social support and broadens learning experiences. Fourth, an inclusive school culture promotes empathy, tolerance, and flexible social skills. These practices significantly contribute to students’ adaptive capacities but face constraints such as limited teacher competence and insufficient policy support. The study confirms that adaptability emerges from the integration of holistic curriculum, innovative learning, collaborative partnerships, and inclusive culture. It highlights the need for coherent education policies and sustained teacher development to scale such practices.

Abstract

Inovasi kurikulum berkelanjutan (continuous improvement) merupakan pendekatan strategis dalam manajemen kurikulum untuk menjawab tantangan perubahan global, perkembangan teknologi, serta kebutuhan dunia kerja yang dinamis. Kurikulum yang bersifat statis tidak lagi mampu memenuhi tuntutan tersebut, sehingga diperlukan pengelolaan kurikulum yang adaptif dan berorientasi pada peningkatan mutu secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep inovasi kurikulum berkelanjutan serta implementasinya dalam manajemen kurikulum di lembaga pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan menganalisis berbagai sumber literatur berupa buku, artikel jurnal, laporan penelitian, dan data statistik yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan inovasi kurikulum berkelanjutan mampu meningkatkan relevansi pendidikan, kualitas pembelajaran, dan mutu lulusan. Selain itu, inovasi kurikulum yang dikelola secara sistematis dan berkelanjutan juga berdampak positif terhadap partisipasi serta kepuasan peserta didik. Dengan demikian, inovasi kurikulum berkelanjutan menjadi kebutuhan mendesak dalam manajemen kurikulum guna meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara berkesinambungan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pemanfaatan AI (Artificial Intelligence) dalam menganalisis efektivitas kurikulum di satuan pendidikan. Evaluasi kurikulum yang efektif memerlukan data akurat terkait pencapaian kompetensi siswa, keterlibatan guru, dan relevansi materi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui dokumen kurikulum, observasi, wawancara, dan analisis data pembelajaran menggunakan model AI Analytics. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan AI dapat membantu sekolah dan pengambil kebijakan dalam menilai efektivitas kurikulum secara lebih cepat, akurat, dan berbasis bukti, serta memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan yang tepat sasaran. Temuan ini memberikan dasar bagi pengembangan kurikulum yang lebih adaptif, responsif, dan berbasis data

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi model manajemen kurikulum inovatif yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di satuan pendidikan di Indonesia. Masalah kualitas pendidikan saat ini terkait dengan kurikulum yang kurang relevan, keterbatasan pelatihan bagi guru, dan manajemen kurikulum yang tidak terintegrasi, yang berdampak pada efektivitas pembelajaran dan motivasi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen pada beberapa sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model manajemen kurikulum inovatif yang melibatkan pengembangan profesional guru, kolaborasi antara guru, siswa, orang tua, dan pemangku kepentingan, serta penerapan metode pengajaran dan teknologi yang adaptif dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pengajaran, motivasi siswa, dan kualitas pembelajaran secara keseluruhan. Temuan ini memberikan dasar bagi pengembangan kebijakan dan praktik kurikulum yang lebih relevan, adaptif, dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan masa depan.
