Abstract

The application of RABEG, is one of the media used to improve the services for people in Kota Serang. Howerver, its implementation has many problems, as reflected in the responses and assessments from users on the playstore platform, regarding the Rabeg application. The assessment given to this application was low, only 1.6 on a scale of 5. This research aimed to analyse the public service management in Kota Serang, focusing on the online Rabeg application. The research used descriptive qualitative approach, referred to the theoretical framework from Indrajit. It identified six important indicators; content development, competency building, connectivity, cyber law, citizen interface and capital. The data source were literature from books, mass media, official government documents, official website, the play store platform, and related journals. The findings of the research showed that the management of public services of Rabeg application was face with several obstacles and shortcomings. So the optimizing of public services from this application had not fully achieved.

Abstract

ABSTRACTPublic Relations of the Pandeglang Regency Government is a bridge for thepublic to find out information about policies or programs implemented byPandeglang Regency Government. Public Relations of Pandeglang RegencyGovernment also has an important role in shaping, improving or maintaining imageof Pandeglang Regency Government. This study aims to determine the strategy forcompiling and conveying the messages as well as information disseminationstrategies implemented by the Public Relations of Pandeglang Regency through themedia. This research uses Post-positivism paradigm. The method used is a casestudy with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study wereobservation, interviews and documentation. The informant selection technique usedpurposive sampling. The theory used in this research is the theory of informationintegration. The results showed that the strategy used by Public Relations ofPandeglang Regency was to maintain image of the government in the process ofcompiling and conveying the messages in a structured, informative manner andchemistry at work. The Public Relations strategy of Pandeglang Regency indisseminating information through the media is to establish good relations with the media crew and use social media, especially the Instagram social media accountwhich is managed by the Public Relations and Protocol of Pandeglang Regency.Keywords: Public relations strategy, Pandeglang Regency, government image

Abstract

Kekerasan pada anak masih menjadi hal yang memprihatinkan seperti fenomena gunung es, tidak semua korban mau melaporkan. Kekerasan pada anak terutama pelajar terjadi hampir di semua daerah, termasuk di Kota Cilegon. Untuk itu perlu diadakan peningkatan perlindungan oleh UPTD Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak melalui berbagai layanan yang diberikan, salah satunya adalah layanan konseling.  Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis proses komunikasi konseling dalam menangani kasus kekerasan pada anak di UPTD Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak di Kota Cilegon. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Penentuan informan menggunakan purposive, dengan berdasarkan pada kriteria. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, kemudian dilakukan pengecekan keabsahan data dan analisis data. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa proses komunikasi konseling dilakukan sejak tahap awal asesmen dengan manajer kasus, dan selanjutnya sesuai kebutuhan klien seperti layanan psikolog, dan mediasi.  Kemampuan komunikasi verbal dan non verbal yang baik sangat dibutuhkan.  Berbagai teknik konseling dilakukan dalam berkomunikasi diantaranya adalah building rapport diawal untuk membangun kepercayaan, katarsis, memberikan perhatian mendalam, pengulangan ketika klien anak bercerita, menggunakan kata-kata positif, menurunkan ego, dan klarifikasi.Kata Kunci : Komunikasi Konseling, Kekerasan, Perlindungan Anak Violence against children remains a concerning issue, much like the tip of an iceberg, not all victims are willing to report it. Child abuse, especially among students, occurs in nearly all areas, including the city of Cilegon. Therefore, there is a need for enhanced protection provided by the Women and Children Protection Agency (UPTD Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak) through various services, one of which is counseling. The aim of this research is to analyze the counseling communication process in handling cases of child abuse at the UPTD Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak in the city of Cilegon. The research is conducted using a qualitative approach with a case study method. Informant selection is done purposively, based on specific criteria. Data collection involves observation, interviews, and documentation, followed by data validation and analysis. The results indicate that the counseling communication process starts from the initial assessment stage with case managers and then continues according to the client's needs, such as psychological services and mediation. Good verbal and non-verbal communication skills are highly essential. Various counseling techniques are employed in communication, including building rapport at the beginning to establish trust, catharsis, providing deep attention, repeating when child clients share their stories, using positive words, lowering ego, and clarification. Keywords : Counseling Communication, Violence, Child Protection

Abstract

Corporate Identity merupakan suatu elemen perusahaan yang harus diketahui oleh khalayak sebagai tanda pengenal yang memungkinkan perusahaan dikenal atau dibedakan dari perusahaan yang lainnya. Dalam hal ini, Indosat telah bertransformasi dengan melakukan rebranding Indosat menjadi Indosat Ooredoo sehingga perlu merancang dan mengorganisasi informasi terkait rebranding melalui sebuah konsep Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam sosialisasi perubahan corporate identity yang dilakukan oleh marketing communication Indosat Ooredoo untuk memberikan kesadaran dan pengetahuan akan merek melalui Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) yaitu advertising melalui media above the line (ATL) dan below the line (BTL), direct marketing dan pemasaran interaktif melalui gerai dan mitra outlet, sales promotion melalui promo internet, personal selling melalui penjualan di outlet dan public relations melalui launching, publisitas, gathering dan event.

Abstract

The film Sabtu Bersama Bapak communication patterns between characters interacting with each other, the communication patterns presented can be verbal or non-verbal communication, this film illustrates that each family has different communication patterns depending on the situation and conditions. This research aims to describe the concept of communication patterns which divide four types of family communication, namely consensual, pluralistic, protective and laissez-faire communication patterns. Through a qualitative approach using Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis method to understand the meaning of denotation, connotation and myth. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation and interview techniques. The research results show that the film Sabtu Bersama Bapak represents the communication patterns of two families. In the Gunawan family there is a consensual communication pattern and a pluralistic communication pattern, while in the Satya family there is a consensual communication pattern and a protective communication pattern, and in this research no free communication pattern was found (laissez- faire).

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilatarbalakangi karena buruknya penglolaan & sanitasi di lingkungan SMP Negeri 1 Mancak, Kabupaten Serang, Banten. SMPN 1 Mancak memiliki habit menumpulkan sampah sekolah kehalaman belakang sekolah, setelah sampah menumpuk dalam waktu sekian bulan hingga membukit, barulah kemudian dibakar tanpa ada pemisahan apakah sampah tersebut layak dibakar atau tidak. Padahal, tempat pembuangan & pengelolaan sampah terbesar di Provinsi Banten, yaitu TPA Cilowong, berjarak tidak terlalu jauh dengan lokasi SMPN 1 Mancak. Berdasarkan observasi teman-teman mahasiswa, perlu dilakukan penyuluhan dalam bentuk seminar, agar para siswa dan juga guru hingga perangkat sekolah SMPN 1 Mancak memiliki kesadaran tentang urgensi pengolahan sampah yang baik dan benar. Maka dilaksanakan penyuluhan dengan tema“Pengelolaan sampah yang inovatif, ditinjau dari sisi akademisi”, dimana LPPM Universitas Serang Raya sebaga mitranya. Penyuluhan ini bukan hanya dalam bentuk presentasi, tetapi juga dalam komunikasi persuasif kepada selaruh civitas SMPN 1 Mancak, mulai dari kenapa sampah perlu dipisahkan (organik/non-organik), serta siapa yang perlu intens terhadap penaganan sampah di SMPN 1 Mancak, hingga seperti apa & bagaimana sampah idealnya dikelola. Hasil pengabdian ini sangat penting dalam memberikan kesadaran kepada civitas SMPN1 Mancak agar menghilangkan habit menumpuk sampah kemudian membakarnya begitu saja.

Abstract

Problems: Stunting is a health disease that causes chronic growth and development failure in toddlers whose nutritional needs are not met. Stunting also causes other health conditions such as intellectual disorders, motor nerve disorders, and immune disorders. Purpose: This research aims to determine the planning, organization, implementation and evaluation of Lebak Wangi Regency in socializing stunting prevention. Methodology: This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. This research data was obtained from observations and interviews with 6 informants in Lebak Wangi SubDistrict. Results/Findings: The results of this research provide information regarding the planning of Lebak Wangi Regency in socializing stunting prevention, namely mini workshops or coordination with government officials in order to strengthen Lebak Wangi cross-sectors in discussing stunting and conducting research on socialization participants. preventing stunting. Organizing, namely forming an evaluation monitoring team, determining direct communication methods. Implementation includes conducting outreach, implementing a healthy kitchen program to overcome stunting, and providing additional food and using face-to-face communication. Evaluation is a mini/coordination workshop that brings together administrators in the Lebak Wangi Regency area which is held every 3 months after the implementation of stunting prevention outreach activities and the achievement of the stunting prevention outreach program.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the meaning of Roland Barthes' Semiotics which include denotative, connotative, and mythical meanings. The film is directed by Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi and starred Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in the film Bad Boys for Life. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. The object of this research is several scenes in the film Bad Boys For Life. The results of this study found that in the film Bad Boys For Life, several scenes or scenes contain moral messages. Some of the moral messages that are divided through the scenes that the researcher chooses include; First, the law of karma that applies and the consequences of every action taken. The second moral message is how the family can be the main factor in shaping a child's personality, therefore parents must reflect something good in front of their children so that they become good children and are useful to their environment. Third, the doctrine that is carried out by parents can affect the condition of the child, the existence of fear, and the taking of the child's right to speak, the taking of the child's right to express his opinion because it is fixed by the doctrine expected by the parents.

Abstract

Introduction: The aim to this research to determine and analyze how to learning by access and utilization digital technology for high school visually impaired students (SLBN A) at Bandung City, Indonesia, because only in this school provide computer information technology specialization class, so it is important to have learning communication that is appropriate to the conditions of students who study computer technology without using visuals. Methods: This research used qualitative with case study method, and data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. The participants consist of visually impaired students and teachers, the school principal, and a representative from the West Java Provincial Education Office. Findings: The research findings, reveal several essential aspects of access computers for visually impaired students, such as familiar with screen readers, the ability to remember and utilize shortcuts, proficient typing skills using all ten fingers, and the use of assistive tools. Digital-based learning involves using computers and smartphones due to the various supporting software applications. All participant have the computer skill use to type word, input data to excel, email and as well as search for materials on the internet and participants reported that smartphone was used to communicate, using conference applications, and searching for information online, and some participants used it to produce creative content. Originality: The novelty is a collaborative learning model based on communication technology for visually impaired students. Communication technology enables this collaboration through digital applications and devices that support communication and interaction between students and teachers, and interaction between students.

Abstract

Pendidikan inklusi merupakan pendekatan yang menekankan pentingnya memberikan kesempatan yang sama bagi semua siswa, termasuk mereka yang memiliki kebutuhan khusus, untuk berpartisipasi dalam proses belajar-mengajar. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan mengenai pendidikan inklusi kepada guru-guru dan wali siswa di SMPN 4 Kota Bekasi. Penyuluhan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan yang terkait dengan implementasi pendidikan inklusi di sekolah serta memberikan kesadaran pada wali siswa tentang kesamaan kesempatan meraih pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penyuluhan ini adalah presentasi, diskusi kelompok, dan simulasi kasus. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran guru mengenai pentingnya pendidikan inklusi serta strategi yang dapat diterapkan untuk mendukung siswa dengan kebutuhan khusus di kelas
