Abstract

The religion-based integrated curriculum model differs the curriculum system at Islamic boarding schools from other formal schools. Thus, the researchers conducted a case study to determine the Islamic integrated curriculum model at Islamic boarding schools in Blitar. The sample of this research was five leading Islamic boarding schools in Blitar. The data were collected through field observation and in-depth interviews with some informants, such as ustadz/ustadzah, santri, and santri’s guardians/parents. Then, it was analyzed using integrative and interactive techniques. It included data reduction, data display, and conclusion. This study found that the Islamic integrated curriculum system was applied by combining the national curriculum with the hidden curriculum compiled by each Islamic boarding school. It was adjusted to the Islamic boarding school’s vision, mission, and form. Applying the Islamic integrated curriculum model has effectively improved the santri’s religious character. Besides, the parent/guardian satisfaction index showed 89.6%. This research contributes to the Islamic integrated curriculum model into santri’s religious character in Blitar, East Java, Indonesia.

Abstract

Mobile-learning model is an alternative that allows to improve the quality of learning outcomes in FTIK IAIN Tulungagung. This study is aimed to: (1) apply mobile-learning for supporting the conventional learning process of FTIK IAIN Tulungagung; (2) optimalize the quality of learning by implementing mobile learning model in the FTIK IAIN Tulungagung; (3) increase the learning process of the students of FTIK IAIN Tulungagung. The purpose of this research is be able to increase students own potential in the learning process through mobile learning. This research is an action research approach, by designing a system of information technology-based learning via the web portal mobile-learning, which applied on FTIK IAIN Tulungagung, with a sample of 40 students. Based on the research, the results on t-test for Equality of Means show that the value of t learning method with mobile learning is equal to 135,761 (equal variances assummed) with sig (2-tailed) of 0.000. While the t value of conventional method equal to 86,808 (equal variances assummed) with sig (2-tailed) equal to 0,000. The conclusion is "There are differences in learning outcomes in the course of Learning Technology between students who learn to use mobile learning based on lectora inspire with conventional methods".

Abstract

Budaya organisasi pada tataran sekolah memerlukan pemimpin yang berkemampuan memobilisasi perkembangan dan perubahan yaitu melakukan kegiatan kreatif, menemukan strategi, metode, cara-cara, atau konsep-konsep yang baru dalam pengajaran agar pembelajaran bermakna dan melahirkan pendidikan yang berkualitas. Berkenaan dengan hal tersebut maka diperlukan kepemimpinan transformatif sebagai upaya untuk menghasilkan pendidikan yang mampu berdaya saing dan menghasilkann peserta didik yang mempunyai integritas kepribadian, sikap disiplin, kreatif, inovatif, dan kompetitif. Profesionalitas kepemimpinan pendidikan sebagai pemimpin transformasional perlu memiliki kompetensi, transparansi, efisiensi, dan kualitas tinggi. Strategi Pelaksanaan Kepemimpinan Transformatif Kepala MI Perwanida Kota Blitar dan SD Islam Al Munawar Tulungagung dalam meningkatkan kebijakan daya saing pendidikan di lembaganya: (1) Di lembaga Madrasah/sekolah terjadi adanya kerjasama dengan wakil-wakilnya, guru-guru, dan staf dalam kerja tim (team work), sehingga memungkinkan terlaksananya peran kepemimpinan tim (team leadership); (2) Di lembaga Madrasah/sekolah terjadi adanya peningkatan motivasi dan membangkitkan gairah kerja guru yang diorientasikan pada terciptanya pertumbuhan personal dan profesional guru (personal and professional growth), sehingga memungkinkan terlaksananya peran kepemimpinan supervisi (supervisory leadership); (3) Di lembaga madrasah tercipta penataan organisasi madrasah, iklim hubungan yang bersifat loose coupling, dan mengubah struktur dan iklim birokrasi menjadi menyenangkan (comfortable bureaucracy) atau profesional (professional bureaucracy) sehingga memungkinkan terlaksanya peran kepemimpinan organisasional (organizational leadership).

Abstract

Learning technology as applied disciplines grows and evolves according to the needs of learning: more effective, efficient, spacious, and quickly in the global era. It also facilitates problem solving learning on design aspects, development, utilization, assessment processes and learning resources. Perspective of learning technology in the global era is how Islamic education (PAI) teachers professionally are able to design and create innovative learning environment with reference to the process of national education standard that sets out in the framework of national education. PAI teacher’s challenge in the global erais the demands of the learning process that can improve information literacy that is well supported by data and facts to deliver to the students in the era of information society and the knowledge society. So it is needed an approach and innovative method of learning strategies that address the challenges of learning needs in the globalization and information era. Dialectics of technology on learning in a globalization era are characterized by the demands of the students to have critical thinking skills, problem solving, innovative and creative, mastering ICT, fluent communication and multi languages. And also Islamic education teacher competence and interaction and learning technologies such as ICT products that push reposition the role of an advanced teacher trainer, counselor, manager, participants, leader and author of learning works asan abstraction and a high commitment as a base quality of professionalism.Teknologi pembelajaran sebagai disiplin ilmu terapan tumbuh dan berkembang sesuai kebutuhan belajar yang lebih efektif, efisien, luas dan cepat di era global. Selain itu juga memfasilitasi pemecahan masalah belajar pada aspek desain, pengembangan, pemanfaatan, penilaian proses-proses serta sumber-sumber belajar. Perspektif teknologi pembelajaran di era global adalah bagaimana guru PAI secara profesional mampu mendesain dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inovatif dengan mengacu pada standar proses pendidikan nasional yang ditetapkan dalam kerangkan pendidikan nasional. Tantangan guru PAI di era global adalah tuntutan terhadap proses pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan information literacy yang baik didukung oleh data dan fakta untuk mengantarkan siswanya menuju pada era masyarakat informasi dan masyarakat ilmu pengetahuan. Sehingga dibutuhkan pendekatan strategi dan metode inovatif pembelajaran yang mampu menjawab tantangan kebutuhan pembelajaran pada era globalisasi dan informasi. Dialektika teknologi terhadap proses pembelajaran di era global diwarnai dengan tuntutan terhadap siswa mempunyai keterampilan dalam berpikir kritis, memecahkan masalah, inovatif dan kreatif, menguasai ICT, komunikasi lancar, multi bahasa. Serta interaksi kompetensi guru PAI dan produk teknologi pembelajaran berupa ICT yang mendorong reposisi peran guru menjadi pelatih, konselor, manajer, partisipan, pemimpin serta pengarang karya pembelajaran sebagai daya abstraksi dan komitmen yang tinggi sebagai basis kualitas profesionalisme.

Abstract

Islamic religious education has the potential to form intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually superior learners. The role of educators is very important in creating a conducive learning environment. Although students have different learning styles, learning is often constrained by the buildup of theory, the dominance of lecture methods, and the limited use of technology. One solution to overcome this is to strengthen the use of resources and technologies, such as learning animations in PAI. This article aims to examine the nature of animation in learning, the steps of animation production, and the implementation of computers in the production of PAI content animation. The literature study method is used by utilizing primary and secondary sources to answer the purpose of writing. The conclusions that can be drawn are: 1) Animation has a crucial role in learning media with a significant positive impact, especially on the effectiveness and efficiency of learning. Animation is also an alternative solution to overcome learning problems and facilitate the understanding of difficult concepts. 2) Animation production can be done easily and for free by following the steps available on the internet. Experts have unique methods in the pre-production, production, and post-production stages of animation that need to be considered in order to avoid gaps. 3) Computers have an important role in the production of interesting animations. The process of planning, implementation, and evaluation is a crucial stage. However, success depends not only on the computer, but also on the ability of the teacher. Knowledgeable and skilled teachers will be able to produce animations well.

Abstract

The development of interactive learning media based on Augmented Reality was carried out with the aim of increasing the mathematics learning motivation of madrasah ibtidaiyah students. This interactive learning media was developed according to the digital era which makes Augmented Reality learning media effective, interesting and fun. Development research using the ADDIE procedure modified into five development stages has produced a learning media product in the form of interactive learning media based on Augmented Reality with mathematical material in the form of educational game learning media. The results of the analysis of the collected data have shown differences in the development of mathematics learning motivation in students between before and after using learning media. Augmented reality-based interactive learning media has been developed in accordance with the independent curriculum, so that it can improve learning outcomes for students.

Abstract

Learning Based on Multicultural Values in Forming Students' Tolerant Character Through Citizenship Education. Efforts to welcome a Golden Indonesia 2045 require the formation of good character from the young generation. Developing an attitude of religious moderation is one way that can be taken to create a generation that can compete on the world stage. Developing an attitude of religious moderation requires teachers' assistance, so teachers must be more innovative and creative in the learning process. This research aims to explain the role of teachers in fostering an attitude of religious moderation to face the challenges of an increasingly complex world. The research method used is a qualitative research approach that explores in-depth information. The location of this research was MI Manba'ul 'Ulum Buntaran. Data analysis was carried out using a data condensation model, which was carried out with data collection, data presentation, and conclusion. This research shows that MI Manba'ul 'Ulum students already know the concept of religious moderation in general. In practice, religious moderation has been implemented in this madrasah. Students carry out the application of an attitude of religious moderation through the habit of praying Duha, the habit of reading Surah Al-Waqi'ah every morning, P5 learning, personal approaches to students, studies delivered by preachers, the habit of always teaching an attitude of apology after making mistakes, and provide basic understandings of all religions in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines how the local wisdom-based experiential learning model influences the improvement of metacognitive skills, learning motivation, and learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) in grade V students of State Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), who previously used more memorisation-based and less contextual learning methods. This study uses a quantitative method with a pretest-posttest experimental design. Data collection through tests, questionnaires, and observations on elementary school students in Tulungagung Regency. Statistical tests using MANOVA and SPSS-26.0. The results of the study showed that the application of experiential learning based on local wisdom was significantly more effective in improving students' understanding of the efforts of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, as well as SKI learning outcomes and metacognitive skills compared to the expository method. This model also succeeded in increasing students' learning motivation and developing independent learning and intercultural skills. In addition, experiential learning plays an important role in preparing students to face global challenges. The average learning outcomes of students taught with the experiential model were higher than the expository method, namely 87.54 compared to 72.72. This study has limitations in the generalization of findings. The originality of this study lies in the experiential learning model based on local wisdom that is effective in improving students' understanding, motivation, and metacognitive skills. The implications of this study for the development of more adaptive curriculum and teaching strategies and preparing students to face global challenges.

Abstract

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to explain the effect of the Hybrid-Generative Learning implementation on learning outcomes, creative thinking ability, and student learning interest.  Desain/methode - This study used a pseudo-experimental method with a nonrandom control design of the pretest-posttest group. The population of this study was all grade 7 students in the even semester at Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri (SMPN) 01 Ngunut, Tulungagung. The sample of this study was four (4) classes that were deliberately selected from a total of six (6) classes that attended Islamic religious education subjects. Findings - The average learning outcomes of students in the experimental class were better than those in the control class (67,523 > 57,028). Students in the experimental class had better creative thinking skills compared to the control class (70,387 > 53,633). The average learning interest of students in the experimental class had a higher interest in learning compared to the control class (37,378 > 29,441). The information shows that students who receive Hybrid Generative Learning have learning outcomes, creative thinking skills and learning interests are much higher than students in other classes. Research Implications/limitation - The use of hybrid-generative learning models on other parameters requires further development for future research to reveal positive results on some of the more comprehensive models. Similarly, the duration of time ideally needs to be longer for different learnings. Originality/value - Studies of hybrid-generative learning models have been conducted by several researchers in Indonesia. However, they only focused on developing this model for students' thinking and metacognitive skills. Therefore, this study is genuine, new, and can be a scientific reference.
