Abstract

This research aims: 1) To analyze the effect of implementing Blended Learning on the learning motivation of second-grade students at MIN 1 Tulungagung, 2) To analyze the effect of implementing Blended Learning on the learning outcomes of second-grade students at MIN 1 Tulungagung, 3) To analyze the effect of implementing Blended Learning on the motivation and learning outcomes of students at MIN 1 Tulungagung. The type of research used is a quasi-experiment with a population of all second-grade students at MIN 1 Tulungagung, totaling 64 students. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and post-tests, which were analyzed using parametric statistics with an independent T-Test. The research results show: 1) There is a difference in learning motivation between students taught with Blended Learning (experimental class) compared to students taught with conventional learning (control class) with a significance value of 0.002 and an average motivation of 89, 2) There is a difference in student learning outcomes with a significance value of 0.016 and an average learning outcome of 84, 3) There is an increase in student learning motivation due to the implementation of Blended Learning with a significance value of 0.002 and an increase in score by 11 points, as well as an increase in student learning outcomes with a significance value of 0.016 and an increase in score by 12 points.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and obtain encyclopedia-based teaching materials. The type of research used is research and development with the ADDIE development model. The aim of this research is to determine Social Sciences learning on economic activity material, determine the development of encyclopedia-based teaching materials, and determine student learning outcomes after using encyclopedia-based teaching materials on economic activity material. The results of the validation of teaching material products from material expert 1 obtained a score of 95%, meaning valid, material expert II 75% with quite valid qualifications, teaching material design expert 75%, meaning quite valid, and learning experts got a score of 85% with valid qualifications. . The results of the questionnaire assessment in the small group test obtained a score of 93% and the large group test was 94% and both were valid. The results of data analysis show that tcount is greater than ttable, namely in post test I tcount = 8.360, in post test II tcount = 9.272 and ttable = 2.069. The significance level in post test I = 0.588 ≥ 0.05, in post test II = 0.463 ≥ 0.05. So learning with the product being developed can be said to be effective.

Abstract

Islamic Cultural History (SKI) learning must include cognitive aspects and applications in everyday life. The experiential learning model offers experiences that help students develop thinking skills to find the right solution to problems in the field. This study examines how the local wisdom-based experiential learning model influences the improvement of metacognitive skills, learning motivation, and learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) in grade V students of State Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), who previously used more memorisation-based and less contextual learning methods. This study uses a quantitative method with a pretest-posttest control group experimental design, analysing the relationship between experiential learning strategies based on local wisdom, metacognition, motivation, and learning outcomes of grade V SKI students using MANOVA multivariate analysis and SPSS-26.0, with data collected through tests, questionnaires, and observations on elementary school students in Tulungagung Regency. The results of the study show that (1) there is an effect of the Experiential Learning model on improving students' metacognitive skills, (2) there is an effect on students' learning motivation, and (3) there is an effect on improving students' learning outcomes in the Islamic Cultural History course. Theoretically, this study confirms that the experiential learning model effectively enhances metacognition for independent learning and critical thinking. At the same time, the results indicate that Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) should adopt this model to improve student engagement and learning outcomes, with support from teachers and madrasah principals.

Abstract

M-Learning-E-Book is an innovative learning model that is relevant to the demands of the twenty-first-century scheme. Studies on M-Learning-E-Book are still not widely conducted by Indonesian researchers and the study is still limited to the effect of this model on student learning outcomes. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of M-Learning-E-Book implementation on higher-order thinking skills, retention, and learning motivation. This research used quasi quasi-experimental method through pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects were students of SMP Negeri Ngunut 1, 2023 academic year, totaling 87 experimental classes and 76 control classes in PAI lessons. In the control class, students followed learning in the form of expository and class discussions, while in the experimental class, students followed learning through E-book-based M-learning. In the experimental class, students met face-to-face for 4 times of online learning equivalent to 4 meetings. The research was conducted when the research subjects in both classes received the topic aspects of islamic history and culture. The instruments used to collect data were higher-order thinking skills test sheets, retention of learning outcomes, and motivation questionnaires. The data obtained were then analyzed using one-way MANOVA analysis with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that the application of M-Learning-E-Book had a significant effect on the achievement of higher-order thinking skills, retention, and learning motivation.  The results of this study indicate that M-Learning-E-Book is one of the learning alternatives that are by the demands of the twenty-first century. Abstract

Mobile-learning model is an alternative that allows to improve the quality of learning outcomes in FTIK IAIN Tulungagung. This study is aimed to: (1) apply mobile-learning for supporting the conventional learning process of FTIK IAIN Tulungagung; (2) optimalize the quality of learning by implementing mobile learning model in the FTIK IAIN Tulungagung; (3) increase the learning process of the students of FTIK IAIN Tulungagung. The purpose of this research is be able to increase students own potential in the learning process through mobile learning. This research is an action research approach, by designing a system of information technology-based learning via the web portal mobile-learning, which applied on FTIK IAIN Tulungagung, with a sample of 40 students. Based on the research, the results on t-test for Equality of Means show that the value of t learning method with mobile learning is equal to 135,761 (equal variances assummed) with sig (2-tailed) of 0.000. While the t value of conventional method equal to 86,808 (equal variances assummed) with sig (2-tailed) equal to 0,000. The conclusion is "There are differences in learning outcomes in the course of Learning Technology between students who learn to use mobile learning based on lectora inspire with conventional methods".

Abstract

This study aims to explore the formation of Islamic character in students through the habit of memorizing Juz Amma at MI Miftahul Huda Banjarejo. Globalization and technological developments have triggered a moral crisis in the younger generation, which can be seen from various negative behaviors such as brawls, use of harsh words, and decreased respect for teachers. Character education based on Islamic teachings is an important solution to protect students from these negative influences. The research method used is a qualitative study with a case study approach, involving observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the planning of the habit of memorizing Juz Amma at MI Miftahul Huda Banjarejo has been carefully designed through the curriculum, murajaah method, provision of facilities, and support from the principal and teachers. The implementation of this memorization habit has succeeded in instilling Islamic values, such as religiosity, discipline, obedience, perseverance, and love for the Qur'an. Although there are obstacles in the form of memorization difficulties, lack of motivation, and environmental influences, collaborative efforts between teachers, students, and parents are able to minimize these obstacles. Thus, the habit of memorizing Juz Amma is effective in forming the Islamic character of students, which is expected to be a moral and spiritual provision in facing the challenges of the times.

Abstract

Education is a fundamental driver of human development and the foundation of social progress. This research focuses on examining the readiness of teachers to implement the Merdeka Curriculum at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 11 Blitar. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were gathered through interviews and classroom observations to obtain comprehensive insights. The results show that teachers have prepared well by designing lesson plans that integrate Learning Objectives, Learning Pathways, and Teaching Modules. Despite these efforts, several obstacles remain, including variations in students’ comprehension levels, limited school facilities, and insufficient teacher experience with the new curriculum. These challenges highlight the need for additional support and professional development. Overall, the study concludes that teachers at MIN 11 Blitar demonstrate promising readiness for implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, but overcoming the identified barriers is essential to achieve a more effective and meaningful learning process for students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in improving students' learning motivation in the subject of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) in class IV MI NU Terpadu Sumbergempol. The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study type, which allows researchers to investigate in depth the interaction between teachers and students in the context of learning. Data were collected through observation, interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that teachers act as effective educators, motivators, and facilitators. Through the use of innovative learning media and varied teaching strategies, teachers are able to create an interesting and enjoyable learning atmosphere. These findings indicate that the active role of teachers is very important in improving student motivation, which in turn contributes to a better understanding of the material of Islamic Cultural History and the development of student character. This study is expected to provide practical contributions for teachers in designing more effective and meaningful learning.

Abstract

Slow learning is one type of learning problem or difficulty that often arises in elementary school. Slow learners are children who have intellectual potential slightly below normal but are not yet mentally disabled. So each learning activity takes longer than other children who have the same level of intellectual potential. This research aims to analyze and find teacher strategies for improving the learning outcomes of slow-learner students at SDI Al Azhaar Tulungagung. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this research were the principal, the third grade teacher and the accompanying teacher. The data was collected using participant observation, documentation and in-depth interviews. The results of the research obtained at SDI Al Azhaar Tulungagung show that the teacher's strategy in improving the learning outcomes of slow learner students is there is an accompanying teacher as a therapist, one student and one accompanying teacher. Then provide resource centre classroom facilities, and special programs related to collaboration between schools by emphasizing control over students' food intake.
