Abstract

This research aims to analyze (1) the decision-making process in purchasing frozen processed chicken products in Metro City, (2) consumer attitudes towards frozen processed chicken products in Metro City, (3) the factors influencing consumption patterns of frozen processed chicken products in Metro City, and (4) the factors affecting expenditures on frozen processed chicken in Metro City. The method used is survey, approvead by descriptive qualitative and quantitative approach with a sample of 100 respondents. Data collection was conducted using an online questionnaire in February in Metro City, which was determined purposively, and analyzed using the Fishbein multi-attribute model, descriptive analysis, factor analysis, and multiple linear regression. The research results indicate that (1) the attributes most considered by consumers are taste, nutritional content, and type of product. (2) Consumption patterns are influenced by the types of products frequently consumed, consumer spending on frozen chicken processed meat, the amount consumed, where the products are purchased, the quantity of main meals consumed in a day, preparation methods, frozen chicken processed meat as side dishes, and frozen chicken processed meat as snacks. (3) The factors determining the consumption pattern of frozen chicken processed products in Metro City are formed based on two main components according to the leading factor values. The first component (product attributes) consists of price (X1), brand (X2), packaging design (X4), and texture (X5). The second component (marketing appeal) consists of ease of access (X3) and promotions (X6). (4) Factors that influence expenditure are the number of family members (X2), purchasing frequency (X3) and brand (D3), while income (X1), age (X4), taste (D1), wife's education level (D2), price (D4) and wife's job (D5) do not have a significant influence on expenditure on frozen chicken meat products in Metro City.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to: ascertain the pattern, mechanisms, rights and responsibilities, and evaluation of partnerships carried out by KPT Maju Sejahtera; analyze the income of both partner and non-partner cattle breeders; in addition to analyze the variables influencing breeders choices to form partnerships. The research location was chosen purposively, taking into account that KPT Maju Sejahtera has been running a partnership program since 2017 and that South Lampung District is one of the population centres or beef cattle areas in Lampung Province. About 66 participants were chosen at random to participate in the research as respondents. The months of January through February in 2024 were used for data collection.  The analysis method used to answer the first purpose was descriptive qualitative analysis; farming business analysis was used to answer the second; and binary logistic regression analysis was used to answer the third. The results showed that KPT Maju Sejahtera and IACCB had formed an agribusiness operational cooperation patternship pattern. The evaluation results of the partnership established between IACCB and KPT Maju Sejahtera showed that the partnership was going well in accordance with the agreed cooperation agreement. The average income for livestock business in Tanjung Sari sub-district was IDR 19.906.090,91 for partners and IDR 14.820.030,30 for non partner breeders. Breeders’ decisions to partner are influenced more positively by factors like age, education, and income.

Abstract

About 66 participants were chosen at random to participate in the research as respondents. The months of January through February in 2024 were used for data collection. The analysis method used to answer the first purpose was descriptive qualitative analysis; farming business analysis was used to answer the second; and binary logistic regression analysis was used to answer the third. The results showed that KPT Maju Sejahtera and IACCB had formed an agribusiness operational cooperation patternship pattern. The average income of partner and non-partner cattle farmers in Tanjung Sari District was IDR 23.233.363,64 per 2,82 heads and IDR 19.282.909,09 per 2,73 heads, respectively. Education level and initial capital for male and female cattle had a significantly positive effect, while the initial number of cattle had a significantly negative effect on the likelihood of farmers deciding to participate in partner with IACCB.

Abstract

This consumer behavior research aims to determine decision making, attitudes and the relationship between characteristics and attitudes of coffee beverage consumers at Benefit Coffee (BC) using the survey method and involving 68 respondents. Data collectioniwas carriedi out in February 2025 and analyzed descriptively and quantitatively using the Fishbein multiattribute model and Spearman Rank correlation test. The results showed that the main purpose of visiting BC was to find a place to relax, with consumer motivation to try various flavors of BC coffee. Consumers obtain product information through friend recommendations that influence their decision to try. Consumer attitude whenithe desired product runsi out is to choose another flavor as an alternative. Consumers tend to plan purchases with the main consideration of coffee flavor. Most consumers are satisfied and interested in making repeat purchases. Consumer attitudes towards BC coffee drinks fall into the moderately good category.  There is a significant relationship  between age and incomei of consumers and consumeri attitudes towards BC coffee drinks.

Abstract

Consumers tend to experience changes in attitudes and satisfaction towards purchasing broiler chicken meat in the new normal era. This research was conducted using a survey method which aims to determine consumer attitudes and levels of satisfaction by paying attention to what attributes consumers consider before buying broiler chicken meat in the new normal era. The number of samples in this study was 116 respondents. Research data was analyzed conjointly which describes consumer attitudes based on evaluation of various product attributes and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) to measure attributes that influence consumer satisfaction with purchasing broiler chicken meat. Based on conjoint analysis, it shows that consumer attitudes towards broiler chicken meat in the new normal era are in a very good direction with the attributes most liked by household consumers in Bandar Lampung, namely halal labels, meat texture, type of purchase, price of chicken, aroma and skin color. . The combination of broiler chicken attributes that Bandar Lampung household consumers like is cheap price, not rancid aroma, shiny yellowish red skin color, chewy texture, halal label, and online purchase type. The level of consumer satisfaction based on the consumer satisfaction index for broiler chicken meat is 91.39 percent which is in the very satisfied category. The level of consumer satisfaction with the performance attributes of texture, type of purchase, halal and color of broiler chicken meat is in the range of 4.18-4.28, falling into the very satisfied category. Meanwhile, consumer satisfaction with the performance attributes of price and aroma of broiler chicken meat is in the range of 4.07 and 4.06, which is in the satisfied category.
