Abstract

A robust warehouse door security system is crucial for safeguarding assets and stored objects against theft or illegal access. This research seeks to build and construct an Internet of Things (IoT)-based security system employing reed switch and PIR sensors to identify suspicious behavior near the warehouse entrance. Developed for PT. Anugerah Terang Persada's system incorporates real-time notifications for the warehouse proprietor or manager's smartphones. Reed switch sensors identify the door's opening and closing, whereas PIR sensors observe movement in the surrounding area. The ESP32-CAM microcontroller processes data from various sensors, capturing photos or movies during unforeseen movements or door opens. This data is transmitted via the internet to the mobile application, facilitating real-time notifications. The principal advantage of this research is improved warehouse security using accessible and cost-effective IoT technology. The solution delivers enhanced efficiency relative to conventional security approaches by providing instantaneous alerts and visual proof for prompt action. The ESP32-CAM facilitates automatically recording photos or videos upon detecting suspicious activity, thereby enhancing security by preserving digital evidence for further review. This system can also be linked with other IoT devices, improving overall security monitoring. This research presents novel options for firms requiring dependable and economical warehouse security, diminishing dependence on conventional ways while enhancing flexibility and convenience in facility administration.

Abstract

In today's digital era, companies are expected to make decisions quickly and accurately in order to stay competitive in a rapidly changing market. One growing approach is the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Automated Market Intelligence (AMI) systems. This study aims to explore how AI is applied in the process of automatically collecting and analyzing market data, and how it supports companies in developing business strategies. The research is based on a review of relevant literature and scientific publications, as well as analysis of case studies from companies that have implemented AI in their market intelligence processes. The findings show that AI can speed up data analysis, reduce decision-making errors, and provide more accurate market insights. This study is expected to serve as a useful reference for both business practitioners and researchers interested in understanding the role of AI in data-driven business strategies.

Abstract

Toko Sandal Bi’em merupakan toko yang menjual berbagai jenis sandal seperti sandal slip-on dan sandal kasual. Transaksi yang dilakukan di toko masih secara konvensional. Pelanggan hanya bisa melakukan pembelian dan memilih jenis sandal jika datang ke toko. Adapun beberapa pelanggan dari luar daerah jika memesan produk, pelanggan harus menghubungi secara online via WhatsApp toko Sandal Bi’em dan menunggu sampai pesan tersebut dibalas yang mana akan membutuhkan tidak sebentar sampai pegawai membalas pesan WhatsApp. Lalu pegawai toko akan mengirimkan katalog foto produk kepada pelanggan, setelah pelanggan memilih sandal yang diinginkan dan menyelesaikan pembayaran, pegawai melakukan pengiriman menggunakan jasa pengiriman. Selain itu, pegawai juga mengalami kesulitan dalam pencatatan hasil penjualan karena masih menggunakan buku dan kalkulator dalam proses transaksinya, sehingga menyebabkan kesalahan pencatatan transaksi. Dengan adanya masalah tersebut dibutuhkan aplikasi penjualan atau e-commerce agar memudahkan pembeli dalam melakukan pembelian dan mendapatkan informasi yang jelas mengenai produk sandal yang dijual. Perancangan UI/UX aplikasi e-commerce dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Design Thinking yang mencakup tahap Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, dan Test. Metode Design Thinking adalah proses berulang untuk memahami pengguna dan digunakan untuk menciptakan solusi yang menghasilkan desain yang intuitif dan mudah dipahami oleh pengguna. Pengujian rancangan dilakukan dengan memberikan pertanyaan dalam bentuk kuesioner menggunakan System Usability Scale kepada 45 responden yang memperoleh hasil sebesar 79,3, dari 100, nilai ini berada pada kategori “Acceptable” dan tingkatan “Good”. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa perancangan aplikasi e-commerce Sandal Bi’em berbasis application mobile, sudah mendapatkan kepuasan yang baik dan dapat diterima oleh pengguna.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis efektivitas regression testing menggunakan metrik kuantitatif pada aplikasi digital banking BLU by BCA Digital. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas strategi pengujian regresi dan mengidentifikasi area perbaikan dalam konteks aplikasi finansial yang kompleks. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif eksplanatori dengan desain studi kasus tunggal. Data primer dikumpulkan secara prospektif dari artefak pengujian dan pipeline CI/CD selama tiga siklus rilis, mencakup 3.301 skenario pengujian. Analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dan inferensial, dengan fokus pada metrik kuantitatif seperti Defect Detection Percentage (DDP), Test Case Effectiveness (TCE), Requirements Coverage, dan Test Execution Efficiency. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa regression testing berjalan sangat efektif dengan penyelesaian 100% dan tingkat kegagalan fungsional hanya 0,06%. Strategi hybrid yang memadukan automation (32,87% cakupan) dan manual testing terbukti optimal; automation memberikan efisiensi dan stabilitas tinggi, sementara manual testing berperan krusial dalam mendeteksi defect kompleks. Namun, ditemukan disparitas kinerja antar modul dan tingginya skip rate automation (18,06%) sebagai area kritis. Kesimpulannya, pendekatan hybrid efektif menjamin kualitas rilis, namun diperlukan ekspansi cakupan otomasi dan perbaikan maintainability script. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan framework evaluasi kuantitatif untuk quality assurance di industri digital banking Indonesia.

Abstract

 Advances in digitization within government institutions have encouraged the development of more efficient and transparent electronic services. This study aims to evaluate the Electronic Application Information System (SIMPEL) of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia using the PIECES framework. This study involved 112 respondents, consisting of Applicants/Community (53.6%), Civil Servants (20.5%), Advocates/Legal Representatives (17%), and other user categories (8.9%). The method used was quantitative descriptive with data collection through online surveys and statistical analysis using SPSS version 26.0. The results showed that the Economy dimension received the highest score of 4.26, while the Control dimension received the lowest score of 3.75, indicating the need to improve system security. In practical terms, these findings confirm the need to strengthen two-factor authentication (2FA), tighten access control, and optimize file validation to minimize the risk of data leaks and unauthorized access. This research contributes to the development of digital public services that are more secure, efficient, and user-oriented, as well as enriching the evaluation of e-government systems in Indonesia.

Abstract

Digital transformation is a strategic solution for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to maintain global competitiveness, however, its implementation in the beauty service sector is often hindered by operational technology gaps. The primary issue in the Ummu Micco Salon case study is service management inefficiency, which negatively impacts business growth. The underlying cause lies in an inaccessible reservation system and a lack of price transparency, directly resulting in customer confusion and the risk of potential revenue loss. This study aims to address this gap by designing a User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) solution built on a website using the Design Thinking approach. The main contribution of this research is implementative, providing a validated design solution that directly resolves the service management inefficiencies faced by the beauty salon. The solution was realized as a high-fidelity prototype using Figma software and validated by 20 respondents. Evaluation results using the System Usability Scale (SUS) measurement indicated a score of 79.625, achieving a Grade B and an "Acceptable" category. This score directly demonstrates that the system design possesses a high level of usability and is feasible for implementation to support operational efficiency and business sustainability for MSMEs.

Abstract

The SI-AWAS Information System is a face recognition-based student attendance innovation implemented at SMKN 8 Bandung to improve the accuracy of attendance records and the effectiveness of discipline supervision. Although designed to assist with school administrative processes, the implementation of this system still faces various constraints, such as limited user access, suboptimal data integration, and a digital literacy gap among teachers, staff, and students. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of SI-AWAS using the PIECES framework (Performance, Information, Economy, Control/Security, Efficiency, Service) thru a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data was obtained thru semi-structured interviews, observation, and document study, and then validated using source, technique, and time triangulation. The expected research results will include a comprehensive overview of system performance, the quality of information produced, the efficiency of the attendance process, the economic aspects of operation, data security levels, and the quality of system services for users. This analysis also aims to identify both technical and non-technical barriers and formulate recommendations for improvement for schools and system developers. This research contributes to enriching the literature on evaluating educational information systems, while also providing an empirical basis for improving the quality of SI-AWAS at SMKN 8 Bandung.

Abstract

Perkembangan Artificial Intelligence (AI), terutama model bahasa canggih seperti ChatGPT, benar-benar membuka babak baru buat kita mengoptimalkan proses belajar mengajar di sekolah, khususnya di tingkat SMP. Penelitian ini fokus banget untuk membedah apa saja tantangan dan peluang yang muncul saat mencoba mengimplementasikan ChatGPT di SMP Pertiwi Kota Bandung. Selain itu, kita juga merumuskan strategi rekomendasi yang sifatnya kontekstual, khususnya dari perspektif pengembangan sistem informasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan lewat wawancara mendalam (sama guru, staf IT, dan kepala sekolah), observasi langsung di kelas dan saat pemanfaatan perangkat digital, plus studi dokumen terkait kebijakan dan sarana IT sekolah. Untuk analisisnya, data dipilah (reduksi), disajikan secara tematik, dan ditarik kesimpulannya. Kita juga pakai Analisis SWOT buat memetakan kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman. SMP Pertiwi itu punya modal awal yang bagus ada lab komputer, perangkat, dan dukungan manajemen. Tapi, ada kendala krusial juga. Misalnya, bandwidth internet yang suka drop saat jam sibuk, ketersediaan perangkat yang belum merata, kemampuan digital guru yang masih beragam, dan yang paling penting, belum ada kebijakan resmi soal etika dan perlindungan data terkait penggunaan AI. Berdasarkan temuan tadi, ada beberapa rekomendasi strategis yang diusulkan seperti upgrade infrastruktur secara prioritas, bikin modul pelatihan guru berjenjang yang fokus ke teknis dan pedagogi AI, merumuskan panduan etika penggunaan AI, dan memperkuat kemitraan eksternal untuk bantuan teknis dan evaluasi dampak. Implementasi rekomendasi ini diharapkan bisa membuat integrasi ChatGPT di dunia pendidikan lokal jadi lebih bertanggung jawab, inklusif, dan pastinya berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Sistem penghitungan estimasi insentif karyawan di PT. Mitra Hub Indonesia (MHI) saat ini masih dilakukan secara manual oleh tim marketing menggunakan spreadsheet. Proses ini rentan terhadap kesalahan rumus dan input, memakan waktu karena pengumpulan data yang tidak terintegrasi, dan memiliki transparansi yang rendah karena karyawan hanya menerima rincian via screenshot. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan sebagai mengembangkan sistem informasi yang disebut E-Insentif untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dengan fokus pada otomatisasi berbasis workflow untuk perhitungan yang akurat dan konsisten. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan Metode Agile Development dengan kerangka kerja Scrum, yang memungkinkan adaptasi cepat terhadap kebutuhan bisnis yang kompleks dan dinamis. Hasil yang diharapkan adalah peningkatan signifikan dalam efisiensi waktu, akurasi perhitungan, dan transparansi akses data insentif bagi karyawan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of color, font type, and green interface design on user satisfaction in the Siap Kerja mobile application. The problem that prompted this study was the low level of user satisfaction due to the selection of colors that were uncomfortable for the eyes, font types that reduced readability, and interface designs that did not fully apply the principles of sustainability in the user experience (sustainable UI). In digital interface design, sustainability is not only related to broad environmental issues, but also includes energy efficiency and visual comfort when using the application. Before filling out the questionnaire, respondents were given a preview of the Siap Kerja application interface to assess the color elements, typography, and green interface design concept. The concept of green interface design in this study refers to the optimization of visual aspects, such as application design with dark mode, as well as the selection of visually efficient typography. This optimization not only helps reduce device power consumption but also improves user comfort and reduces eye strain. Therefore, sustainability is considered one of the characteristics of interface design, not a form of satisfaction in itself. The results of the study show that color, typography, and green interface design have a significant impact on user satisfaction, with an explanatory level of 0.84. These findings indicate that the application of sustainable UI principles can improve the quality of the user experience while supporting energy efficiency in the use of digital applications.
