Abstract

The design activity in Indonesia has done for years ago, equal with development ofthis nation. Even traditional design education was educated before prehistory periods, then through to palaces periods in this Archipelago by personal activity in the villages or in workshop that palaces need. The institution of modem design education begin at Dutch Government, because based on "ethical politics" to support the society to get their development. After Indonesia got their freedom, especially institution oftop design education has to be growth and are path in all college that have fine arts subject. Especially for ITB that considered as pioneer to yield modem design product because have succeed to transform Bauhaus Curricuhim as center ofworld modem design institution. Because Indonesia became a industrial country, the consequently is some ofmaterials to fulfil ~esign is increase, and its spreader to all ofmy region with the product and can be makes vacancy. Abstract

Multidrug therapy (MDT) regiment has been used for leprosy all over the world for more than 20 years. Drug resistances of Mycobacterium have been reported from many areas. The resistance mostly occurred due to mutation on the gene coding protein targeted by anti-leprosy drugs. Two hundreds and seventy M. leprae isolates from some area in Indonesia were examined for studying the profile of mutation among isolates collected during 2003-2011. Drug resistance determining region of the folP1 gene and the rpoB gene was sequenced. The results showed 5 isolates of M. leprae harboured mutation only in the folP1 gene and another isolate harbored mutation in both the folP1 and rpoB gene. The point mutation in the folP1 gene that was found in 2 isolates occurred in codon 53 (ACC→GCC; Thr→Ala). Double point mutations on codon 53 that was found in two isolates were ACC→AGA (Thr→Arg) and ACC→AGG (Thr→Arg). The point mutation in the folP1 geneoccurred in codon 55 were found in two isolates were CCC→CTC (Pro→Leu) and CCC→CGC (Pro→Arg). Whereas mutation in the rpoB gene in one isolate occurred in codon 410 was GAT→TAT (Asp→Tyr). These mutations that altered the amino acids of the protein revealed that isolates of M. leprae were resistant to drug with variable profiles

Abstract

The objectives in this study are: 1). To analyse the effect of budget participation on Managerial Performance on OPD in Jayapura City; and 2). To analyse the effect of budget participation on managerial performance of OPD in Jayapura City with work motivation as a moderating variable The population in this study were all civil servants in the Regional Devices Organizations (OPD) of the Jayapura City government consisting of 33 OPDs. The sample in this study amounted to 99 people. The statistical method used to test Hypotheses is simple regression and multilevel regression analysis with the interaction test approach Moderating Regression Analysis (MRA). Based on the results of the study, the tcount for the variable budget participation is 2.597 with a significance level of 0.012. With a significance level smaller than 0.05, H1 can be supported or in other words, government participation influences managerial performance. This proves that budget participation has a positive influence on managerial performance. The results of the analysis also show that, there is no influence between work motivation variables in moderating budgetaryparticipation with managerial performance as indicated by the value of t count of 0.030 with a significance of 0.976 which is greater than α = 0.05. Thus, the results of this study state that increasing work motivation does not cause an increase in managerial performance that participates in the budget.

Abstract

The traditional agrarian and government bureaucracy system in Madura by placing the role of panembahan is the same as the sultan in Mataram who is considered to have a central position both politically, socially and culturally as well as religiously. Since the mid-19th century on the part of the Dutch East Indies government, there have been indications to realize a change in the bureaucratic system which was originally patrimonial to be rational. The only thing that can be used as a tool to act, is the existence of a constitutional policy of the Dutch kingdom regarding the management of colonized areas, namely the issuance of a Government Regulation in 1854. The success of the Dutch government in reorganizing the bureaucracy and agrarian in Madura by dividing it into four districts, namely Bangkalan, Sampang, Pamekasan, and Sumenep are short-term strategies.

Abstract

The existence of batik which now seems to be an Indonesian national identity has a long history. When talking about batik, people will automatically refer to the state of Indonesia. However, until now people still continue to seek recognition of it, besides of course that is no less important is the need for efforts for its development and preservation. In this case, the Indonesian people need to be careful in responding to globalization in its most tangible form, for example prioritizing the importance of nationalism and also in its implementation being realized in the form of cultural resilience because it is recognized as a cultural capital that is considered capable of being a filter for globalization. Batik on the one hand is a cultural resilience that deserves to be offered as cultural capital or in a minimal form as a reflection of ideological fragments that play a role in providing identification or identity to the Indonesian people.

Abstract

The use of synthetic food coloring and food coloring that are prohibited, because they have an adverse effect on health, is still prevalent in food and beverage production. Red dragon fruit skin which has been a waste can be used for the production of natural dyes because the proportion of the skin is quite large and contains anthocyanin pigments. The purpose of this study was to study the microencapsulation method of red dragon fruit peel extract using maltodextrin DE10-12 with spray drying technique. The spray drying process was carried out at an inlet temperature of 150-160ºC and outlet temperature of 70-80ºC and DE10-12 maltodextrin concentration of 10, 15, and 20%. From the results of the study, it was known that the concentration of 20% has the highest yield (40.59%), the lowest water content (4.67%), and the highest brightness level (76.77). Abstract

Melinjo peel is a local food ingredient that is easily found in the community and has the potential to be developed into high-fiber snacks. The aim of this research was to produce high-fiber tortilla chips that are chemically and organoleptically acceptable. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with one factorial and two replications. Factors in the study were the addition of melinjo peel flour to substitute corn which consisted of 3 levels of F1 (20%), F2 (30%), F3 (40%), and F0 (0%) as a control. The analysis consisted of proximate analysis (moisture content, ash content, protein, fat, carbohydrates), total energy, fiber content and organoleptic tests (hedonic test and hedonic quality) using 50 panelists. Data of proximate test, total energy and fiber content were analyzed using the ANOVA test followed by Duncan's Mutliple Test (95% significance). Data of organoleptic test were analyzed using the Kruskal Wallis test and followed by the Mann Whitney test (95% significance). The results showed that the addition of melinjo peel flour to substitute corn had a significant effect on fiber content (p<0,05), but had no significant effect on moisture content, ash content, protein, fat, carbohydrates and total energy (p>0,05). The results of the organoleptic test showed that the addition of melinjo peel flour to substitute corn had a significant effect on the level of preference for color and aroma as well as on taste quality and color quality (p<0,05). F2 (70%: 30%) is the formula for the selected tortilla chips with the nutritional content in 100 g of the ingredients, namely 413.46 kcal of energy, 84.44 g of carbohydrates, 4.56 g of fat, 8.65 g of protein, and 47.59 g of fiber.
