Abstract

Abstract

Unhealthy price competition in the market, especially due to predatory pricing practices, is a challenge for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This study aims to analyze the influence of company reputation, digital marketing, and price perception on purchasing decisions in the Shopee marketplace. A quantitative approach was used with a survey method involving 200 respondents from the Cirebon area. After screening, the final sample size analyzed was 180 respondents. Data were collected through a questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the help of SPSS 25.0. The results showed that price perception had a significant influence on purchasing decisions (p < 0.05), indicating that consumers tend to consider price when transacting on Shopee. Company reputation approached significance, while digital marketing did not show a significant influence, although it still played a role in attracting consumer attention. The regression model used proved strong (F = 27.840, p < 0.000), indicating that the independent variables collectively influenced purchasing decisions. In conclusion, the most dominant factor influencing purchasing decisions on Shopee is price perception. Although company reputation and digital marketing did not show strong individual significance, both still contribute collectively. Therefore, improving price transparency, maintaining positive company image, and enhancing digital marketing strategies are essential to increase consumer purchasing decisions in online marketplaces like Shopee.

Abstract

The social transformation that has occurred in the digital era has encouraged Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to adapt to developments in information technology to increase competitiveness and expand market reach. One form of this adaptation is the use of e-commerce platforms as a means of marketing and managing their businesses online. This community service activity aims to empower the Kartika Taro Chips MSME through the introduction and implementation of an e-commerce platform based on Odoo.com, an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This activity was carried out by students of the Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Computer Science, Victory University Sorong, with the assistance of lecturers from the Information Systems and Sociology fields. The training method includes several stages, namely: the stage of material preparation and analysis of participant needs, the implementation of a workshop that includes the installation and configuration of Odoo.com, and the post-training mentoring stage to ensure the sustainability and independence of participants in managing their online stores. The results of the training showed that participants were not only able to build and manage online stores independently, but also understood the basic concepts of ERP systems and experienced a significant increase in digital literacy. From a sociological perspective, this activity reflects a technology-driven social transformation process, where MSMEs are actively expanding their social networks through digital spaces and increasing their involvement in the digital economy. This demonstrates that integrating technological and social approaches can be a relevant MSME empowerment model in local contexts. Overall, this training has had a positive impact on strengthening MSMEs' digital capacity and opening up new opportunities for sustainable business development in the era of digital transformation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of village heads in improving development in Darmorpis Village, Samofa District, Biak Numfor Regency. Village administration, as the spearhead of government administration, plays an important role in realizing public services, community empowerment, and sustainable development. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and literature study. The results show that the village head plays a strategic role in leading and mobilizing all elements of society, including traditional leaders, religious leaders, village officials, and the general public, to actively participate in development. The village head's leadership emphasizes not only administrative aspects but also service, motivation, work discipline, and capacity building for village officials. The synergy between leadership and community participation proved to be a key factor in the success of the development program in Darmorpis Village. However, this study also found obstacles in the form of a lack of coordination regarding the implementation of assistance programs from the local government, which had an impact on the community's perception of the effectiveness of development. Thus, it can be concluded that the success of village development is largely determined by the visionary leadership of the village head and the collective support of the community.

Abstract

Background: Accurate coding of external cause in injury diagnoses is crucial to ensure the validity of medical records, support health policy decisions, and maintain the quality of morbidity reporting.  Objective: To determine the factors that influence the inaccuracy of external cause codes in injury diagnosis at Thalia Irham General Hospital, Panciro, Gowa Regency. Method: This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using observation and in-depth interviews with outpatient coders handling injury cases. Result: The study found that only 36% of the medical record documents were coded accurately, 26% were inaccurately coded, and 36% lacked any external cause code. The main causes of inaccuracy included incomplete anamnesis, limited time, absence of specific standard operating procedures (SOPs), and the belief that external cause codes do not impact BPJS claims. Conclusion: The low level accuracy of external cause coding is caused by the lack of understanding of officers regarding the ICD-10 Chapter XX classification, the absence of a specific SOP for coding injuries, and the perception that external cause codes do not affect the claims system.

Abstract

It is estimated that one-third of the world's population has been infected by TB germs, and Indonesia is in the top 3rd ranks with the most cases in the world. Many factors are associated with the incidence of TB so this study aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of Tuberculosis. This analytic observational study used a case-control study design. The study was carried out in Kupang City in 2021. The case sample was 75 cases of TB patients undergoing treatment during the study, while the control sample was 75 non-TB patients around the control house. The dependent variable was the tuberculosis prevalence, while the independent variable was are age, gender, knowledge, attitude, smoking habits, cigarettes per day. The data were collected by interview and then the data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate by chi square test. This study found variables related to the incidence of TB, namely knowledge (p 0.049 <0.05; OR 2.03; 95% CI: 1.056 – 3.909), attitude (p 0.001 <0.005; OR 3.50; 95% CI: 1.695–7.228), smoking behavior (p 0000<0.005; OR 4,447; 95% CI: 2.174 – 9.094), and smoking 10 cigarettes per day (p 0.000<0.05; OR 7.731; 95% CI: 3.265-18.302) . While the variables that are not related to the incidence of TB are age (p 0.513>0.05, 95% CI: 0.403-1.454) and gender (p 0.250>0.05; C 95%: 0.338-1.239). The greatest risk of tuberculosis is smoking behavior >10 cigarettes per day, namely 7.731 and followed by smoking and attitude variables, while lack of knowledge has the lowest risk of suffering from tuberculosis, which is 2.032. It is necessary to intensify outreach to the community to increase knowledge and attitudes in preventing tuberculosis transmission and counseling about the impact of smoking on the risk of tuberculosis incidence so that it is expected to reduce the number of smokers and the number of TB cases in the community.
