Abstract

Jenjang kepangkatan merupakan salah satu parameter profesionalitas seorang Guru, sehingga Guru dituntut untuk terus menaikkan jenjang kepangkatannya. Namun, umumnya Guru mengalami permasalahan untuk mengajukan kenaikan jenjang kepangkatannya, dikarenakan minimnya publikasi ilmiah. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilaksanakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan cara meningkatkan kemampuan Guru agar mampu menyusun naskah publikasi ilmiah pada jurnal nasional. Kegiatan PkM ini dilakukan melalui kolaborasi tiga Perguruan Tinggi, yaitu IST AKPRIND Yogyakarta, Universitas AMIKOM Yogyakarta, dan Universitas Muria Kudus. Kegiatan ini merupakan pelaksanaan tahap pertama dari tiga tahap yang direncanakan. PkM ini dilaksanakan di SMK N 2 Magelang dengan durasi waktu 130 jam dan peserta sebanyak 31 orang dari. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan meliputi: pengurusan perijinan dan survei, pengumpulan data, analisis kebutuhan mitra, penyusunan rencana program dan kegiatan, penyusunan dan penandatangan naskah MOU dan MOA para pihak, penyusunan modul kegiatan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan diakhiri dengan penyusunan laporan kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan ini disimpulkan bahwa materi PkM sesuai kebutuhan peserta, strategi kolaborasi lintas institusi Perguruan Tinggi memungkinkan setiap Pelaksana melaksanakan tugas sebaik-baiknya. Strategi kolaborasi PkM memerlukan koordinasi, pembagian tugas, dan penjadwalan yang baik agar pelaksanaannya berjalan dengan baik dan lancar sesuai program yang dirancang sehingga dapat mencapai tujuan yang ditetapkan. Pelaksanaan PkM ini masih perlu dilanjutkan untuk merealisasikan 2 tahap kegiatan yang telah dirancang secara berkelanjutan sehingga luaran kegiatan yang ditetapkan dapat dicapai.

Abstract

Mobile phones have limited memory and computational resources. Modern encryption algorithms such as DES, AES, IDEA uses a complicated and complex algorithm, that are not suitable for image encryption on mobile phones. Necessary, it is tradeoff between speed, security, and flexibility. Problem to be investigated and resolved is how to get the image encryption algorithm which is simple yet safe, with the lightweight and efficient computing. The algorithm developed in this study was super-encryption algorithm that combines Playfair cipher and the Vigenere cipher. The experimental results show the cipher image histogram has a distribution of diversity and a significant difference to the plain image histogram, and frequency of occurrence of each intensity value in the histogram of cipher image is also uneven, which means can not provide clues to do statistical attack. The experimental results also showed a correlation between the elements of the image after encryption has decreased significantly. The average of quality encryption showed that the rate of change of image pixels is high enough so that cipher image difficult to identify. Tests on a cell phone showed that this algorithm requires only small computational resources. This shows that the algorithm is quite effective for image encryption on mobile phones.

Abstract

The average temperature of global warming on the earth's surface today has increased by 0.74 ± 0:18°C, the increase was due to the increase in the average temperature of the atmosphere, ocean and land earth. Emissions of the most influential on the quality of the air is carbon emissions, especially carbon dioxide (CO2). The CO2 contributes to global warming is 50%. The CO2 gases absorb and reflect radiation emitted waves of the earth, so that the heat will be stored on the surface of the earth. This study aimed to design a data logger system monitoring the level of concentration of CO2 using the oxygen sensor (OOM202), carbon dioxide sensor (MG81), as well as temperature and humidity sensors (DHT22) with microcontroller-based SMS gateway information. The study tested are simulated in the laboratory with electronic testing and testing communication systems. The test results showed good performance with the prototype, the results of monitoring CO2 emissions seen huge levels of carbon dioxide (ppm) is proportional to the output voltage (Vout) is generated. The greater the concentration levels of gas detected by the sensor, the output voltage generated will be greater, than that difference or distinction ADC output between the measured and calculated because of several errors, such as error output ADC ± 2 bits, error rounding conversion of ADC to volt. The measurement results are different, in the closed and open area refers to the measurement parameters are displayed on an alphanumeric display. Measuring system can transmit data via SMS information system with an average response time of less than 1 minute, it depends on the quality of the signal and traffic data from a provider by the user.

Abstract

INTISARI Industri pengolahan hasil pertanian dan perkebunan sangat berkembang pesat. Salahsatu tahap dalam proses pengolahan hasil perkebunan adalah pemilahan produk berdasar kualitasnya (misalnya tingkat kematangan buah). Proses pemilahan produk hasil pertanian dan perkebunan umumnya sangat bergantung pada persepsi manusia terhadap faktor komposisi warna yang dimiliki citra (buah-buahan). Persepsi manusia terhadap suatu citra cenderung didominasi oleh faktor komposisi warna yang dimiliki citra. Dengan histogram dapat dicari citra yang memiliki kemiripan komposisi warna. Pengukuran tingkat kemiripan dilakukan dengan menghitung jarak antar histogram. Komposisi warna dapat ditampilkan dalam bentuk histogram yang merepresentasikan distribusi jumlah piksel untuk tiap intensitas warna dalam citra. Dalam penentuan tingkat kematangan buah apel, dapat ditentukan berdasarkan komposisi warnanya. Sebagai pembanding adalah histogram warna buah yang sudah matang. Sedangkan query berupa buah apel yang akan dibuat histogram kemudian dibandingkan. Sistem deteksi kemiripan citra yang telah dibuat dapat menemukan kemiripan antar citra berdasarkan nilai jarak antar histogramnya. Informasi yang dihasilkan berupa prosentase kemiripan dan penggolongan kematangan buah yang meliputi mentah, mengkal, dan matang. Ini dibuktikan dengan hasil percobaan pada program yang telah dibuat menunjukkan bahwa citra yang memiliki kemiripan distribusi warna citra yang sama persis memiliki selisih jarak sama dengan nol. Abstract

In order to encourage the achievement of targets compulsory quality basic education to the education level high school (SMA), it takes a learning system that can continuously guide the student in the preparation of national examinations. Therefore, this study serves to help improve the quality of education through the practice of answering the questions in the form of quizzesthat studentsto take advantage of free time more useful by playing a quiz related subjects at school. In addition this mobile application based quizzes can also build a learning community in the form of a discussion forum to help students who have difficulty completing certain matter. Applicationson Android and the web client server model. Mobile application is used for students and teachers. Web applications used by employees of the administration and the teachers to create questions. Object study site is subject to higher secondary schools ranging from subject Mathematics, Bahasa Indonesia, English, Natural Science, Social Studies and Civics. Applications can be installed and run on mobile devices that use the Android operating system and is run by internet networks with separate data storage method that is planted on a server through a particular domain and hosting.

Abstract

Personality is very important to be known by everyone so that every individual is able to develop its advantages. Someone who had difficulty in developing itself the possibility of not knowing at all its weaknesses and shortcomings. Expert System is a system that is built to remove the ability of one or several experts in the computer that is used to solve the problems faced by users in a specific field. To help everyone who wants to know his personality, the authors build A web based expert system for determining human personality based on Florence Littauer personality test that is able to assist the introduction of one's personality. The process of making these applications using object-oriented methodologies with modeling Unified Modeling Language (UML). In the implementation phase the authors use a web-based programming using Ruby on Rails. This application can help the user to know his personality, so it can help to develop themselves.

Abstract

A system can facilitate the application of a job if done manually would take a long time, then with the system can help you to work more quickly and more efficiently. SKPDs requires management of archival documents in a neat and structured as currently in handling documents, especially incoming and outgoing mail is still handled manually. Each receives incoming mail is recorded in the book of receipt of the entry manually by employees, and archiving using a control card also entered manually so that the employee is very difficult in case of a double writing on the archive. The existence of the application system can be used to help local government officials in carrying out their duties, which manages incoming and outgoing mail and archive incoming mail and outgoing mail archives in local work unit Bantul Yogyakarta. The result of implementation system to facilitate the work of the employees in carrying out the activity SKPDs correspondence. Implementation of the system is done with management system SKPDs document filing services with PHP and using MySQL database. The results of this study is the implementation of a document archive management system to facilitate the employees in processing incoming and outgoing mail. Also to facilitate employees to store data incoming and outgoing mail that is not susceptible to damage the original document. This system will also help in the management of archives, in archiving incoming and outgoing mail, also will assist in filing a letter automatically when data is 10-year-old letter then it is time data is entered into a data archiving mail letter. Document archive service management system also helps in the process of re-discovery of data and data archives letter letter.

Abstract

Notebook is no longer a luxury item anymore but it’s become being demands in the work place and even at school. So many vendors offers their notebook series that fit to their customer needs, and one of them is Hewlett-Packard. With so many customers it should be handled seriously to full fill their needs about their product. As an electronic with thousands or even millions of electrical component inside, the possibility of damage cannot be avoided. Therefore an expert system is need to be made for customer to help them handle some faulty components. This expert system that build based on forward chaining as inference machine and Depth-First Search as searching method is designed as part of vendor concern about their customer and it’s covered from purchasing where customer registered their product until their product become out of warranty. This web based system offers their customer so they can do error troubleshooting and download driver need for their product in this case is notebook. The damage that customer experienced is not always detected properly in this system because some faulty conditions needs an expert technician to handle it. For customer, expert system using is very helpful as damage possibility reference that may happened based on existing symptom.

Abstract

Twitter is a social networking that is booming today because it can interact with other users via computer or mobile devices. Twitter users consists of various background. Based on the field survey results at the Institute of Science and Technology AKPRIND, to perform guidance, students should look for lecturers and sometimes the student is difficult to meet with the supervisor due to the schedule of teaching and outside learning activities, so that the guidance is not reach expectations and student guidance schedule. According to survey results, how to connect between social media twitter and information systems, where twitter as an interface for the student to send the data, while the system information as a receiver, collecting and managing the data sent from twitter. This research was conducted by combining the technology of mobile phones, social networking twitter and information system based on PHP, MySQL, and Web Service with implemented Crontab technology and API (Application Programming Interface). By using mobile phones and social networking twitter as an interface, while the information system as a receiver, collector and organize the data can be easily understood by its user, implementation of crontab application on this system can help providing quick response to any incoming mention.Tests carried out using a desktop browser and mobile browser that aims to test and observe the performance of applications on crontab, and observed the responses sent from the system back to twitter. After testing, a response back using crontab with a minimum of 1 minute run in accordance with the specified time, so that the guidance schedule data retrieval process faster, but do not overload the system functional.

Abstract

Alumni Database Institute of Science and Technology AKPRIND Yogyakarta needs an update, so as to create an active communication between the alumni and the institution. Communication with the Alumni should not be interrupted for granted. Therefore, this study build mobile applications that help process data collection Institute of Science and Technology Alumni AKPRIND Yogyakarta is complete and can be updated easily anytime, communications to connect with alumni through a communication forum and were able to trace the Alamuni with features tracer study. Applications built based on Android and the web client server model. The mobile apps are used for alumni and web applications for the administrator. Mobile application consists of a login, update your bio, gallery alumni tracer study questionnaire and forum alumni. While the web application consists of alumni data processing and reporting as well as to control the alumni forum. Applications can be mounted on various variants of android starting from version Froyo or later. Data communication in mobile applications both storage and retrieval of data using an external database system MySQL with support for PHP Programming Language and JSON protocol.
